I truly cannot say enough good things about Matt and his photography team. From the moment they arrived, they brought such positive energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm that they felt like part of the celebration rather than vendors.
Not only did they capture a ton of incredible photos, but they went above and beyond to make sure we got the pictures we wanted. They listened to our vision, paid attention to every detail, and captured all the big moments as well as the candids.
Matt is so creative and comes up with beautiful shots that we never would have thought to ask for. Every image feels intentional and tells part of the story of our day.
Their personalities made the experience unforgettable. They were fun, calming, encouraging, and brought the best vibes all day long. This made the entire experience that much better.
I can't forget to mention how fast Matt got our photos back to us! We were absolutely amazed to receive beautifully edited photos—in both color and black-and-white—just two weeks after our wedding. This just shows how organized and dedicated Matt is.
Looking through our gallery feels like reliving our wedding all over again, and that is such an incredible gift. When planning my wedding one of my top priorities was finding the perfect photographer. After all, the one thing left of the wedding aside from the amazing memory is the moments that are captured. Matt is the most personable, and kind person and made planning and communication so easy. He took time to get to know us and helped put us at ease. We had the absolute best experience with Matt, Chris, and Pat for our wedding. They were absolutely incredible, professional, and genuinely fun to work with. They made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and I’m so glad we did an engagement shoot with Matt beforehand. It helped us know exactly what to expect and made the wedding day feel effortless.
The photos came out absolutely stunning, and the whole team was unbelievably efficient. Our top goal was to make it to cocktail hour, and Matt made sure that happened without feeling rushed or stressed. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

I’ll start with there personality. Some people are talented but not warm or easy to talk to, but Matt and his team are the realest, down to earth, most genuine guys i ever encountered. There whole team is so smooth and work together so great and they literally take away any stress you may encounter from the planning to the actual day. From the preparation process to being transparent to getting children or toddlers perfectly in the shot it was remarkable. Even my 91 year old grandmother they worked with so fast and efficiently it was amazing. As for the pictures of my now wife and i i mean we couldn’t be happier i mean they came out so good we are beyond happy. The video crew was so creative as well with ideas and they were there but never in the way and it’s literally like a movie. I can’t say enough good things about these guys!!!! -

6/7/25 Wedding
My husband Matt and I got married on June 7, 2025 and choosing Kirchhof Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From our very first meeting with Matt Kirchhof, we knew we were in good hands. He was easygoing, funny, attentive, and genuinely committed to working within our budget. Talking with him felt like reconnecting with an old friend, he instantly made us feel comfortable and understood.
The entire experience, from planning to execution, was seamless. I never once doubted that Matt would help make our wedding day unforgettable. He absolutely delivered.
On the wedding day, Matt and Chris arrived right on time to each getting ready location and were the perfect mix of professional and personable. I gave Matt a quick tour of the house where my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, and he took it from there. He captured every little detail from my shoes to the flowers with a level of thoughtfulness and precision that blew me away. He even made sure every stray hair was in place the entirety of the night and his attention to detail was incredible!
Throughout the day, Matt and Chris worked so smoothly behind the scenes, capturing authentic, raw moments that truly reflect the love my husband and I share. From our vows at the church to the energy of the after-party, the photos speak volumes. We were genuinely speechless when we saw them.
Matt stayed until the very end of the night, allowing us to simply enjoy our wedding while he took the lead on capturing memories. He sent us sneak peeks within 24 hours (which was amazing!) and delivered our full gallery in just two weeks. Our family and friends are still raving about our photos and about how great Matt and Chris were to be around.
Kirchhof Photography was personable, professional, friendly, and completely pressure-free. They made the day fun and effortless, which is exactly what every bride (and groom) needs.

I met Matt back in 2021 when he was the photographer for my best friend's wedding. After seeing the quality of her photos, I knew he was the photographer I needed for my wedding! As soon as my husband and I started the wedding search process I immediately reached out to Matt. Matt and Chris shot our wedding, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. They both were so calm and nice and knew exactly how to direct my husband I and so that we could take photos in a timely manner before our ceremony. We got all of our photos so quickly and our friends and family were blown away by the results. I cannot recommend Matt and his team enough. If I had to do it all over again there's really no one else I would hire to be our photographers. You won't be disappointed I promise!! -

I was so lucky to get a recommendation from a co-worker to use Matt. Right off the bat, Matt was extremely nice and extremely responsive. My husband and I were also pleased that Matt had experience photographing at our venue, The Wave Resort. I was extremely nervous on my wedding date, and Matt made me feel so relaxed and helped me with dress malfunctions (I had no bridal party). His demeanor was extremely appreciated! Matt and Chris blended in the entire day of our ceremony and reception, we had no idea they were even taking photos! Matt was very punctual with getting the photographs ready for us. There are so many fabulous photos, it will be hard to choose which to print! -

Matt is the absolute best. We used him for our engagement photos and our wedding! His work speaks for itself. The photos are clean, the colors are vibrant but not too saturated and you get everything back so quickly. Matt & Chris are the most incredible photographers I’ve ever seen or worked with.
I’ve been in the wedding and private party industry for over 25 years. I had the opportunity to finally plan my own daughter’s wedding which was held on Dec 1st @The Chateau Grande Hotel in NJ.
From the very first conversation with Chris, I knew he understood everything my daughter was hoping for.
They put together a perfect schedule, had everyone on time, had the best personalities and made everyone feel so comfortable.
We got all of the pictures back yesterday and I’m SPEECHLESS!!!! I never imagined photos like we received… they are breathtaking!!

Planning a wedding is stressful, but the professionalism, ease, and positive energy Matt and Chris bring is unmatched! We heard nothing but good things about Matt and Chris from a wedding they shot for our friends Joanna & Stu. They left such a great impression that not only did the bride & groom recommend them, but so did people in their bridal party! We met Matt over a facetime call and instantly felt a connection. I am so lucky I was referred to Matt - I could not have asked for a better person to capture our big day (and engagement shoot)! My first conversation with him he made us feel super comfortable and confident that he knew what he was doing!! The week or two before the wedding we had a final call to discuss timelines and what we were looking for! We ultimately left everything up to Matt since he had worked at our venue multiple times. We could not feel more confident walking into our day! The day of Matt showed up at my parents house with plenty of time and things he wanted to shoot & we had a second shooter at our second location for getting ready for the guys. Both were extremely professional and knew what the were trying to capture. The way Matt and Chris work together is like they’ve known you for years! It rained on our day but that only brought out the best photos - we were still able to go outside and both Matt and Chris were super accommodating but also SO helpful and mindful to not let my dress get ruined. The pictures are so stunning!

The perfect day
I am so thankful that we decided to book Matt for our wedding. From the day that we met with him to discuss our day he was nothing short of amazing. Matt answered every single question that I had and was so quick in his responses. He went above and beyond as he worked within our budget and provided us with photography the entire day while other photographers charge you by the hour. I trusted Matt with my rings as well as my fiancés and knew that I did not have to worry. He came to my hotel to pick up my rings and bring them to the venue, which is most definitely not in his job description. Matt made us feel comfortable while taking our photos. We got married on May 10th and received over 2,000 photos by May 29th. Matt is amazing and you will not regret working with him! -

This review is long overdue. Matt and his team for sure made my wedding day. My favorite vendor and would hire him 100x over. He kept the entire day running smoothly and on time. Even if we were “late” according to schedule he never once made my husband or I feel rushed. He is beyond responsive even to this day (3 months post wedding and still dealing with me helping me make my photo album!). And the PICTURES! The pictures are so breathtakingly beautiful. He really captured every moment. They are stunning and so helpful to us to relive our most special day. Not to mention we had our entire album maybe 9 days after our wedding?! That is unheard of! Talent That is Unmatched!
After meeting with numerous photography vendors this was the easiest decision to make. Working with Matt was one of the most seamless and exciting experiences during our wedding planning process. He was very personable, flexible and professional and his portfolio is unmatched, unique and personalized.
My husband and I talked with Matt over FaceTime numerous times. He really takes interest in getting to know you and understanding your vision. During our engagement shoot, he took the time to understand what we were most comfortable with. That way we could eliminate any poses my husband and I felt were not us on our wedding day. One of the benefits that really set him apart from the competitors was his timeline. Matt dedicates his whole day when working a wedding and not just a limited number of hours. This helped out so much because that last thing you want is to worry that everything wasn't captured.
On our wedding day, Matt and Chris were amazing and on top of it. They made sure that everything moved seamlessly and coordinated with the venue staff and vendors. Pictures with family and the bridal party seem so chaotic to me, but Matt and Chris were so calm and worked so well with our group. Honestly, all pictures were done with time to spare!
When the night was over I couldn't wait to get the pictures back! About 2 weeks later we received the photos back and I can't stop looking at them. The photos are STUNNING. We've been sharing the link with our family and friends and they are blown away at how beautiful they are. I don't have enough words to describe how much I appreciate Matt and Chris. I couldn't have asked for a better photography team on our wedding day!

Hiring Matt for our wedding was easily best decision we made. After hearing positive feedback about him working my brother & friend's wedding, it was a no brainer.
The first time I met Matt and we chatted over FaceTime, he was so easy to work with, and really took an interest in us as a couple. He took time to ask questions and understand our vision. Something that sets Matt a part from his competitors is that he dedicates the entire day when working a wedding- not limited to the amount of hours. We thought this was definitely an important factor so we wouldn't feel rushed at all during the wedding day.
As the wedding was closely approaching, we hopped on the phone with Matt again to discuss the wedding timeline. He bakes in a lot of extra time in case things are delayed, really capturing every single detail. We were in close contact in the days leading up to the wedding as he was very easy to get in touch with.
The day of the wedding wouldn't have been so great without Matt (& Chris). Matt has a calming presence and worked well with all the family and bridesmaids in the hours leading up to the ceremony. Multiple people throughout the day shared how wonderful he was to work with. We were almost exactly on schedule which was super impressive. We didn't feel rushed for a second. Something that I took note of was how well he worked with all other vendors (hair, makeup, video, venue- ALL of them). He was present throughout the entire night and I was confident he captured every special moment.
And he DELIVERED! A few days after the wedding he sent me about 30 teaser pictures, sharing the completed album two weeks post wedding. These pictures are INCREDIBLE. We've shared the link around to family and friends and we've all been blown away by the pictures he took. I don't have enough words to describe how appreciate I am of Matt. I can't wait to recommend him to everyone I know getting married! -

Matt is the best!
Matt Kirchhoff is amazing and so talented. He also did my cousins wedding, and I couldn’t wait to book him too! We started with an engagement photoshoot in Asbury Park, and then did a second in Morristown. Both shoots were so much fun and the photos came out amazing.
Matt is a true professional, and working with him felt like working with a friend. He was always on time, had everything he needed, and is so reliable. And his communication is excellent! He always followed up and kept us updated along the way.
Matt and his assistant Chris did an incredible job at our wedding. I’m not always the most comfortable in front of the camera, but they did a great job and making me comfortable and have fun!
Matt was able to capture every moment throughout the day. He was also able to capture the love, the energy and the fun in his photos. The way he looks at a space and finds the best shots and angles is just awesome. I gave him some must-hit locations, but really trusted his eye to find the best spots. He suggested we do our first look at the train station next to the venue, and the pictures came out awesome! Matt didn’t let photos take away from the wedding, letting us have our time and celebrate. But he still got every shot! His style is clean and classic, and it will stand the test of time.
Matt was also able to get us our full, retouched digital album in less than a week!
In addition to being the best photographer we could have hoped for, he also recommended the best team for us to work with - Kyler Lopez Films and One of a Kind Events! I cannot recommend Matt Kirchhoff enough!!! -

Matt was one of the first vendors we booked, and he did not disappoint. Matt is so communicative and any question you have the answers right away. We had our day of schedule way before our wedding day which made it so much easier for the rest of our vendors to make plans and schedules. Our first experience was an engagement shoot with him and we fell in love with his photos. Photoshoots can be a little awkward and uncomfortable and Matt seriously made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera that when it came to wedding day my Husband turned into a complete ham and was requesting poses as we go lol! Matt and Chris were the dream team, Chris was perfect for the groomsmen and truly captured amazing photos of them that they can all cherish for years to come. Both Matt and Chris made sure to listen to our wants and made sure all our photo requests were taken care of. If you want an amazing experience from start to finish Kirchhof photography is for you. -

There truly isn’t a number high enough here 😩🥹!!! Infinity/10!!! Matt and Chris were familiar faces for us as they shot my sister’s wedding a few years back and we use Matt repeatedly for family photos, but let me tell you that didn’t matter at all. Matt and Chris treated my husband and I as if we were the only two in the room from the minute they started to the minute they left, regardless of the connections they had with other guests in attendance. It never got in the way and they’re so damn professional about their work! They make sure to take your ideas into consideration but it’s not even needed because they are so creative with the shots and make you feel so comfortable the whole time. Super easy to get along with, too! Literally hire Matt and his team for anything and everything that you need photos for… you will not be disappointed!!!! 😍 -

We are so glad we chose Matt as our wedding photographer! The choice was an easy one after reviewing his work and having our initial call, we instantly knew that Matt would capture our wedding day perfectly - and he did! Matt stayed in touch from booking him through to our wedding day and reached out to us first to coordinate details which was greatly appreciated while I had a ton on my mind.
He organized the whole wedding day timeline for us, basically acting like a wedding planner and photographer all in one :) On the wedding day, him and his assistant Chris did an awesome job of ensuring we stayed on track timing wise and that we were done with photos in time to enjoy our cocktail hour. They are also very chill and easy to work with which is exactly what you want on your wedding day.
We received nearly 2,000 photos after and within 9 days which is amazing!!! Every single photo is stunning and it's been so hard to choose our favorites because we love them all. We truly feel like we can relive the day through the photos which is exactly what we wanted. We will also now be working with Matt to design our wedding album which we are super excited about.
I would recommend Matt and Chris to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. My bridesmaids are even raving about them and have already recommended Kirchhof photography to other brides. -

For any bride looking for a phenomenal, talented photographer, Matt is your guy. He is so skilled but does not make it even feel like you are posing for a picture because of his calm demeanor. I used him for our engagement photos as well as the day of our wedding and would highly recommend him to anyone. I did not have to worry about a thing the morning of my wedding - Matt knew just what to do and how to organize our group the entire day to get great shots with different angles.

We hired Kirchhof Photography for our engagement photos and wedding day, and we couldn't be happier! Matt was very responsive and considerate leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day. He took the time to work with us, ask questions, and build a schedule for our wedding. Although it was pouring outside and we were behind schedule with hair and makeup on the wedding day, his composed demeanor kept everyone relaxed and he still found a way to capture all of the special moments which we requested. Matt and Chris were both very professional. The venue commented about how great it was to work with them. Our wedding guests are still talking about how incredible our photographers were and how beautiful our wedding photos are. We also received all of our wedding photos 2 weeks after our wedding and in both color and black and white! From one bride to the next, Kirchhof Photography is who you want to capture your special day. 100% recommend! -

Matt and his team are absolutely incredible. At the time my fiancé and I decided to have engagement photos done. When we first started the shoot we were super uncomfortable and awkward but Matt changed that very quickly. Within minutes we were laughing and actually enjoying the photo shoot which is surprising because we personally hate being in front of a camera. Having the shoot with him before helped tremendously for the wedding day. At that point Matt and Chris felt like friends making the day of the wedding a breeze. We knew how to work with them both and they got every picture done before cocktail hour like we asked. We cannot say enough about Matt and his team we are so lucky to have found them. As soon as we had our consultation with Matt, we knew he was the right photographer! Not only is he so kind but his photos are outstanding. As soon as he walked into my parents house for getting ready photos he got everyone excited for the day and went straight to work! Best Photographer in the Business !!
Matt Kirchhof is incredible at what he does. From day 1, my husband and I felt like we were in the best hands with him as our photographer. He was enthusiastic, professional, and very attentive to detail. We had multiple meetings with him to finalize the details of our day. Matt even created a timeline for our entire day which was SO helpful. On the wedding day, Matt arrived with Chris. They were both a pleasure to work with. Matt kept things moving and made sure we got all of the beautiful pictures we wanted around the venue and with our family. Matt even sent us a sneak peak the next day for my husband to show his grandparents who were unable to attend. Fast forward 10 days later and we received all 2,000 pictures. Each picture was better than the last. Matt is truly a talented photographer and such a wonderful person to be around. Any couple getting married would be so lucky to have him on their team!! -

I am not sure why it took me so long to write my review. My wedding was in November of 2021. Let me tell you, matt and his team is *chefs kiss* STRAIGHT PERFECTION. From every single detail, it was an amazing experience with him. Matt and chris made my now husband and I feel so comfortable with the experience and being in front of the camera. Not only is he super professional, and easy to speak with and get in touch with, matt and his team are so fun !!! He truly made our day enjoyable !!
I had a few mishaps and panic attacks due to time on our big day due to other issues with the venue, but matt brought me back down to earth and made me relax. His words, "Don't you worry, we'll get it done"
Pictures were also done within a week and all so incredibly beautiful !!! INCREDIBLE TIMING!!!
I cannot recommend matt enough!! You would be making a mistake if you didn't choose him !!

Aside from the amazing photos captured, Matt creates and follows a detailed timeline to ensure the day goes smooth, all of your moments you wish are captured, and you never feel rushed. Beyond pleased!
There are no words to describe Matt and his team! We got married 9/5/21 and there were quite a few hiccups leading up to our wedding and even on the big day. Things that had nothing to do with Matt, however the calmness and smile that he brought that day to help work through the day and make sure everything went smooth was a skill beyond photography. We didn't have the best weather and picked our wedding space based on the outdoor space, but yet again, not a worry in the world he positioned us and the inside space to make sure we still got the most amazing photos! Your photos are all you have as a remembrance of your big day and Matt made sure to capture only the beauty of it all. Matt and his team are absolutely incredible! They were so easy to work with from beginning to end. He changed his schedule around to accommodate ours on the day of the wedding with no hesitation, he incorporated extra time into the schedule which made everything so smooth and relaxing (not feel rushed), we even had extra time for breaks which was much needed as it is a long day, but most importantly Matt is SOO creative. He has such an eye for good lighting, perfect locations, and really unique photo ops. His communication and demeanor was so calm throughout the day. He made wrangling our bridal party and family for photos look easy! He had our final photos back to us within days which I did not expect! I could go on all day with positive feedback but one final example to show his commitment to making his clients happy is that he waited in his car for the food truck to arrive (which was very late to our wedding) but because I mentioned I wanted a photo in front of it he made sure to get it before he left. Your photographer sets the tone/mood of your entire day so if you want it to be smooth, easy going, relaxing, and enjoyable.... then you need to hire Matt Kirchhof!!! -

The best before, during , and after the wedding day!
Matt was phenomenal! We booked in 2018 before we had to postpone our 2020 wedding to 2021 and from the first meeeting and engagement photos we knew we picked the right photographer! I got every single picture that I wanted and Matt’s creativity made some amazing photos. We had my dress hanging in my parents room but as soon as he saw the black front door they have he goes “ crazy idea let’s hang this outside “ and the pictures were amazing! When I felt like we were running behind on time he made me feel calm and sure enough we got every single family photo and certain ones I wanted at the venue. When it came to turn around time we got our pictures back so fast compared to some people I know ! We got an album within our package and I had a very specific idea of how I wanted the layout to be , I swear Matt has the patience of a Saint because it took me forever to finalize it but he was great at changing any request I had! My husband and I booked Matt in early 2019 with an original wedding date of 9.6.20. We were affected by the pandemic with our original date and Matt was absolutely amazing during the entire process. From the start Matt was very responsive, always answering emails in a timely manner. When we rescheduled our reception date, Matt still made sure we would have someone to capture the important parts of our ceremony on 9.6.20. Chris was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Moving forward to 4.3.22, we were lucky enough to have Matt and Chris shoot for our reception…when I tell you these two are the best, they truly are! Their professionalism was top notch, but they genuinely are just good people who want you to have the best day! We had such a great experience with both of them on each occasion. We could not be happier with our photos and we had our EDITED photos back in just a few weeks! While we chose to not have a videographer, Matt does provide this service - if it’s something you’re interested in/need, definitely go through Matt…you will not be disappointed at all!! Overall, Matt was one of the best vendors we worked with - you will not go wrong by booking him!! -

Matt has been so amazing and accommodating to my husband and throughout this whole process. He did our engagement shoot and recently, our wedding. Kirchhof was one of the first vendors I booked and he did not disappoint. We reached out to him after our Videographer recommended him. Our first experience was an engagement shoot with him and we fell in love. Booking him and his team was one of the best decisions we made as a newly engaged couple. He is so down to earth and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Kirchhof puts together the most thorough timeline for your photos the morning of your day. My day of coordinator worked the rest of the vendors around his schedule because it was so good.
Our wedding day pictures came back with in 2 weeks of our wedding! Super quick turn around and the pictures were absolutely amazing. He takes your colors photos and transforms them into black and white giving you double the photos. The added elegance of the black and whites were stunning. The way that he sends you the photos is very user friendly and easily sent to loved ones. All of our family were able to download all the photos they wanted as well.
Kirchhoff had our back every step of the way. Making sure all our photo requests were taken care of and kept us on time. He even made sure my husband and I didn’t have to worry about what time it was through out the day. If you want an amazing experience from start to finish Kirchhof is definitely the right photographer for you. Thank you Matt and Chris and the rest of the Kirchhof team! A few years ago, I happened to stumble across Matt Kirchhof’s Photography Instagram page and the rest was history! It was quite evident from day one that Matt takes extreme pride in his work and it NEVER goes unnoticed. Matt is extremely personable, down to earth, creative, responsive, organized and punctual, everything that you could ask for in a person and photographer. Just like every person has a story to tell, every picture has a story to tell and we wanted to make sure we trusted the person behind the lens to capture one of the best days of our lives. From the moment we met Matt, we knew we would have no regrets working with him. My husband dreads getting pictures taken and it takes a lot for him to feel comfortable around someone. When we left Matt’s office, my husband told me he didn’t want to look any further which means a lot coming from him. Unfortunately we had to postpone our wedding three times due to the pandemic and Matt was always the first person we would email once we postponed. He always gave us a sense of calmness that everything would work out. If Matt can work with us during a pandemic with FOUR wedding dates and not cause one ounce of stress, I think that tells a story in itself. I grew up with Matt so when my husband and I were booking our wedding, there was no doubt we were going to book with Kirchhof. From day one he was helpful and informative. I wanted engagement pictures in the snow and with a days notice, he made it happen. The pictures were INCREDIBLE and the poor guy froze to make them happen. Then covid hit and he was not only flexible with our 3 reschedules, but he even came and shot our backyard microwedding. Then came the wedding day... While others may have taken the easy route because they knew us, Matt was professional and patient. I would book him 100x over and am so grateful to have these pictures to enjoy for the rest of our lives. -

From signing our contract to the wedding day, everything was a smooth process, quick responses through email & texts, and nailed every vibe I was feeling. Where do I even start? I booked Matt almost 2 years ago for our June 2020 wedding. First, we did our engagement shoot which exceeded my expectations! I couldn't wait for our fairytale wedding, then bam the Coronavirus hit! Matt was beyond amazing and was there for me every step of the way. He is truly the most professional, kind hearted person I've ever met. We planned a backyard wedding in 10 days and Matt was there. I'm blown away by the 1100 pictures he took!!!!!!! I can't say enough amazing things about Matt, but if you don't use him you're making a mistake. I had an appointment with 4 photographers (Matt was my first one) and I honestly didn't even want to be bothered with the other meetings. I wound up meeting 1 out of the 4 and canceled the rest. Matt was booked that same week. Matt, we love you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did. Book him and you will have the best pictures of all time! -

Matt and his team are nothing short of outstanding! I was married on 11/16/2019 at Bonnet Island Estate in Manahawkin, NJ. This review is a little delayed because I wanted to make sure that I could take the time to actually put down in words how thankful my husband and I were to have Matt as our wedding photographer and how perfectly he captured our day! My trust in Matt took so much weight off of me during my wedding and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Aside from the person you are marrying your photographer is probably the most important person you will have at your wedding, so after picking my venue, I immediately knew that I needed to find a photographer who could capture my wedding day perfectly. Matt was highly recommended by a person who works in the wedding industry, so I reached via email and expected that I would hear back in a few days, but Matt answered me within minutes! From the beginning Matt was easy to talk to, listened to my thoughts and what I wanted, and then explained how he worked and how my wedding day would run if he was our photographer. From this point on, I knew that I could trust Matt to perfectly capture our wedding day! Matt reached out to us frequently as our wedding date approached to make sure that he had a list of all of the shots we wanted. On our wedding day Matt had a schedule and plan. He was ready, early, and I made sure that everyone was on his schedule and not their own! On my wedding day I did not want to make a single decision, all I wanted to do was enjoy my day. I know very little about photography and left Matt in charge of deciding what shots to take and looking back on the pictures I can honestly say that there is not a single shot that was missing! When people see my wedding photos they are amazed by the shear number of pictures and the quality! People also comment on how Matt's shots are not the typical wedding photos that everyone and their parents have ... they are beautiful, natural, and artistic! Matt is literally able to capture every moment of my day perfectly, he even managed to take amazing outdoor pictures with gale force winds! Having confidence in Matt as my photographer put me at ease on my wedding and I consistently say having him as my photographer was on of the best decisions I made in planning my wedding. Many photographers take months to return edited pictures, not Matt. We had ALL of our pictures edited within two weeks! Matt is devoted to making sure that his work captures all of the important moments in your wedding and I would recommend him to anyone looking to make sure that their wedding pictures are perfect! -

Simply the best! Matt is professional from start to finish. He captured everything and more of our big day. At times I didn't even know he was shooting, which is a good thing. Working with Matt and his team was one of the best experiences throughout our entire wedding process. Matt was there for us from beginning to end with our engagement photos to our wedding photos and video and never skipped a beat in knowing exactly what we wanted, before we could even get the words out.
There was no pressure at all to spend extra money or limit the number of photos we got. We felt so comfortable with him that we just let him do whatever he and Kyler, his videographer, felt were best. We had our full trust in them and everything worked out perfectly. At any moment in time during the wedding when we would've wanted a photo, we turned to find them and they were already there!
We still are getting compliments on our photos and our video! It is seriously so incredible what these guys can do and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!
We built such a rapport that it felt as if we've known Matt for a while and he even gave us tips for our honeymoon since he frequents there often! We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and Matt and Kyler helped to make that day so extra special and even reminded us of photos we wanted but had slipped our minds with all the craziness going on and made sure we got those shots. -

Matt Kirchof is so friendly and super professional. He really cares about his work and will make you feel like a close friend at your first meeting. He gives you his personal cell number and you can text him with ideas, questions etc. We got all our photos back nine days later fully edited. A longtime partner of his, Kyler Lopez, is in charge of video. Kyler is the entire reason I wanted a video to begin with. I’ve seen videos from other people and they were all kind of meh. But Kyler- his work is truly cinematic and he makes your video seem like it’s own professional 6 minute movie trailer. You also get all the raw footage so you can watch everything on your own time. If you go with Kphotovideo you get access to all your images/videos without copyright issues and can print them anywhere you like (or through Matt for a higher quality/larger size). I also spoke with them about my budget (as they were slightly out of my range) and because I was so enamored with their work they each took a little off to accommodate me. Truly a great team who values their clients and their work over all else. You will not regret choosing Matt and/or Kyler for your big day. -

Finding a great photographer was extremely important to me. I spent a lot of time researching NY and NJ photographers and their portfolios. I came across Kirchhof Photography during my search and instantly loved Matt's style. We met with Matt and booked him the same day! Matt has such an easy-going personality that we hit it off right away and knew we wanted him to be our photographer. Matt created a package with everything we wanted in it. We ended up doing our videography through Matt’s company as well. We met with Matt twice prior to the wedding to go through all the details and every time he was great at easing our nerves. He sent us a detailed timeline of how our day would work and budgeted time for all the different shots we wanted. The day of the wedding Matt came with his wife and they were a great team! Azahria was very helpful and made sure everything was running smoothly, helped adjust my dress and veil, and was just overall great! Both Matt and Azahria make you feel so relaxed in front of the camera. Matt and his whole team spent nearly 12 hours with us the day of the wedding. Matt’s professionalism and creativity is unmatched! We absolutely love all the photos that we’ve received. Hands down the best decision we made in this entire wedding process!

Matt was extremely responsive, organized, creative, and easy to work with from the moment we hired him until this day. We knew we hired the right person when we got our engagement photos back, and they are amazing! On the day of our wedding, him, his wife Azahria, the cinematographer, Kyler, and his assistant Robby were all incredible. We just got the photos back the other day and we can't stop looking at them. They are absolutely perfect. Matt was able to take both classic and creative shots. The whole team was very easy going and laid back the entire day and night, but at the same time, were able to get the job done flawlessly. I could not recommend this company enough. We first met Matt and Azahria over two years before our wedding for our engagement pictures. Matt and Azahria are an amazing team and super professional. They are both super sweet people and amazing to work with. We absolutely loved our engagement pictures and could not wait to work again with Matt for our wedding pictures. Matt and Azahria were with us for almost twelve ours on the day of our wedding. He was able to get so many amazing shots that we will cherish for years to come. The most amazing experience with Matt on our wedding day!
I am on cloud nine with having Matt as our wedding photographer! Matt is not only unbelievably talented and creative, he is the most professional photographer I’ve ever experienced.
