    Kirby Hill Farm was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding on July 29th. We fell in love with Kirby Hill the very first day we visited, when Nat gave us a comprehensive tour of the property and provided great ideas on the kind of wedding and festivities we could have! Throughout the entire planning process the team at Kirby Hill was incredibly responsive to emails and always available to schedule visits with various vendors. Although they did provide some suggested vendors, we had the freedom to find our own that best suited our needs. During the weeks leading up to the wedding, the team again was very responsive and flexible, all with a very relaxed air that helped to keep everyone calm and happy! The wedding day itself was (of course) the best day of our lives! We owe a huge part of it to the picturesque scenery of Kirby Hill Farm and the lovely "farmhouse chic" decor! If I had the opportunity to plan another event, I would choose Kirby Hill Farm without hesitation!

    Kirby Hill was AMAZING! They allowed us to have the wedding we wanted. It was very beautiful and the staff was great.
    The whole process of setting up the tents, caterer, and everything else involved in an outside wedding was made easy due to Kirby Hill.
    I highly recommend them to anyone who want a beautiful farm wedding!

    I would highly recommend using Kirby Hill Farm for your wedding or any other large event. All of the staff, especially Nat Mundy, were very professional and responsive to all our needs. We had the perfect fall wedding on 10/1/16!

    Kirby Hill Farm was amazing! The farm itself is breathtaking, and the facilities are first class. We were thrilled to find a facility of this caliber so close to NYC.

    Kirby Hill Horse Farm is a unique location to hold your wedding or rehearsal dinner. Kirby Hill is more then 240 acres, allowing access to multiple locations on the farm for a ceremony and/or reception with exceptional scenery. There is nothing else like this venue around the area. Brides can add personal touches, such as bringing in their own caterer or tent. The staff is completely attentive and will help accommodate their clients with whatever needs to be done. As an event planner, I have told many new brides to consider Kirby Hill Horse Farm if they want their wedding to be an unforgettable experience.

    Very disappointed in Kirby Hill, it's such a beautiful piece of land but the people running it are extremely unorganized. We had our wedding there in Sept 2017 that we had been planning for two years and the only reason it worked out was because of the outside vendors we chose for our day. Kirby Hill kept changing pricing on us for items such as space for our rehearsal and the after party bonfire after we already had signed contracts that said otherwise. Every time we spoke to the staff we were treated as if we were bothering them. We were never congratulated or felt like our day was in any way special. I could go on and on but in all honesty it just makes me sad that I will always have a horrible stain on the memory of my wedding day due to the incompetence of the Kirby Hill staff. I truly hope no other bride and groom have to deal with this. Be cautious.

    We know you have many options when selecting a venue for one of the most special days in your life that is why we are disheartened by your review. Although we provided the site only, we understand It can be challenging working with outside vendors which is why we do our best to accommodate as best we can. Ultimately we cannot intrude on the contract between you and those vendors. During your event, our staff helped move some things around in the tent that was not installed properly by your vendor. We also provided beverages to your guests until your caterer arrived. It would be unfair to exclude our efforts since we strive to make all of our customers as happy as possible.

    We apologize in advance but we would be remiss not to also mention that we kindly accepted a trade transaction with your fiancé as a form of payment toward your event and there was no discrepancy in price. We are required by NYS law to collect sales tax which is non-negotiable and was clearly part of your final invoice. We are proud of our beautiful farm, our business, and staff and still we are sincerely sorry you were disappointed, but we accept feedback as a tool to improve our operations.
