Kat is amazing and will get you the great photos!

Kat was an amazing photographer for my engagement photos. She was so warm and helpful. She took our awkward selves and gave us some wonderful quality photos that we will cherish forever. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, we had to cancel with her for our rescheduled wedding and Kat was just so honest and courteous with us that it made this situation a little better. I 100% recommend working with her if you get the chance.

Also we did our photo shoot partially while skiing! So much fun!

Kat is the best! She fits right in on your wedding day and takes amazing photos! She got great shots of us, our families -including a passel of young nieces and nephews- and our puppy! She had great ideas for our photos even when the weather didn't cooperate . Best of all she captured great shots while we were just ourselves- no "tilt your head" "look this way". She fit right in so we could enjoy the day. I would book her again in a heart beat!

Hire Kat - we would again in a heartbeat. That's ultimately the best recommendation I can offer, and Kat is unquestionably deserving of my praise, as she exceeded each and every wish my wife and I had, and outdid herself along the way. She was easy to communicate with, flexible in with scheduling, and offered many helpful hints, tips and reminders without seeming remotely intrusive. On our wedding day, Kat moved effortlessly in and out, capturing candid and formal shots which all our guests have since raved about. During the follow up, including our album (stunning, naturally), Kat held true to form, again being exactly what we needed after planning and executing our DIY wedding. I simply cannot imagine that anyone would have done a better job for us. She is a gem!

We wanted our wedding to be unique,but more so to have the important moments caught so we would be able to remember them for years to come.Out of everything in our wedding,we valued Kat as our photographer the UTMOST.Every moment to remember and more Kat shot,and she had a keen eye for what would look priceless for the area,the people,and the moment.Kat's attitude toward her work,and gift is what automatically made her right for our photographer.She easily honed in on what would work or wouldn't,and for an OCD bride as myself,shocked me as to the new and exciting ideas she had.She made it quick so we could actually enjoy our friends and family,we even saw cocktail hour!She is one of the warmest,and kindest individuals that really made you feel comfortable and adventurous.I just wanted to hug her every second.She is ALWAYS available,and open to every idea.I have thousands of instantly answered emails while planning,and during the wedding she was at the forefront of every moment but out of the way to the point we never truly noticed a camera.

Kat was a wonderful photographer for our intimate winter wedding. Flexibility was of the utmost importance to us, since we only had a three month engagement and didn't even have the exact ceremony location nailed down until a couple weeks beforehand. She's so adventurous, she had no problem taking a snow mobile down from our reception site on a cold March evening. Her costs were very competitive and she created a package that was perfect for our needs. All of that helped keep our wedding planning stress-free. The day of our wedding Kat continued to keep it easy and light. The time we spent taking pictures was quick, painless, and actually fun! Kat blended right in to the day, even though we only had 18 guests. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed her sweet and warm personality. My advice to other brides: Add the wedding album to your package! I'm glad we did. Our wedding album is a piece of art that transports us pack to that wonderful day. I hope you enjoy using Kingdom Wedding Photography as much as we did!

My wife and I would highly recommend Kat’s services. She has a great eye, competitive prices for a range of services, and is fun & personable.
My wife arranged for Kat’s services only four months before our short-notice wedding. A friend from the “Kingdom” recommended Kat’s services highly. Our communications with Kat were easy and prompt. Kat offered to meet us weeks in advance of the wedding to scout the venue & prepare for our photos. We didn’t, but were glad for the offer.
Kat arrived an hour early on the day of the wedding to get the lay of the land before heading to meet up with my wife at a nearby location, to take photographs of her make-up & dressing session. Kat unobtrusively photographed our ceremony, then expeditiously made the various large-group and family photos by communicating clearly, respectfully, & with authority. Next, Kat walked around the property with my wife and I, finding beautiful settings to serve as backdrops for our portraits. Once we rejoined the guests during our cocktail hour, Kat made sure to make many fun shots of us mingling, and captured many great moments of our family and friends enjoying themselves. Kat was so inconspicuous during the reception that I barely knew she was there, until she bid us a kindly goodbye.
In only a few short days, Kat posted a preview of our photos on her excellent blog, which we shared with family and friends via social media and email. After less than a week later, she made all of the best photos available to download on her site hosted at pixieset. A couple of weeks later, Kat surprised us with the gift of a print featuring 8 photos from the wedding mounted on aluminum & laminated.
The wedding photos are excellent, and beautifully capture many of our favorite moments from the day, as well as many great moments we weren’t privy to, but are glad to have captured in perpetuity in Kat’s still photos. There are so many good photos that we’re having a hard time deciding which ones to have enlarged!

Kat was amazing! She was willing to do anything for a good shot and even brought treats for our dog. She is fun and completely unobtrusive. Her photos are gorgeous and she is extremely professional!

Kat from Kingdom Wedding Photography was our photographer and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is friendly and very flexible. To say I'm not photogenic is an understatement but, understanding this, Kat captured me (and everyone) very naturally. She was also helpful on where and when to take photos and the results were incredible. The entire set was natural and beautiful. I am so thankful!

My husband and I remembered the gorgeous day, the ceremony, but parts of the reception were a blur. As happens to many bride and grooms, we were often pulled in different directions, so it's not a surprise that some items were a fog. All of the happy, jovial feelings came back after seeing the photos. It really does help to see things from an outside perspective and Kat captured everything - more than WE saw. It takes an enormous amount of trust in the person capturing those moments and we are happy Kat was there. She worked tirelessly, zooming all around taking glimpses of our special day. Some talk about dedication: Kat was so focused and hard-working that she forgot to eat dinner after the long day!

Kat from Kingdom Wedding Photography was absolutely a joy to work with for my fall Vermont wedding at the Equinox Resort & Spa. From the very beginning she was extremely responsive and patient as I had to do all of my vendor searching online and via email since I planned my wedding in California. It took me days sometimes to get back to her due to my crazy work schedule and she was always back to me within 24 hours of any of my emails to her.

Kat was also amazingly flexible and agreed to shoot our engagement photos at a picturesque Vermont waterfall that was about 3 hours from her home so we wouldn't miss time away from friends and family while we were back visiting before the wedding. She has a fun, outgoing, and adventurous personality that really shows in the pictures she takes. Her personality also makes what could potentially be an awkward event fun and exciting which helps since no one likes pictures with fake smiles because you are uncomfortable!

She has cute twists and surprises along the way that shows how creative she can be with your pictures which is super fun! On my wedding day Kat was extremely professional and half the time I didn't even know she was there which takes some of the stress off during wedding day preparations. She captured all the photos I was looking for plus more....and as she advertised the mandatory family photo session after the ceremony was quick and painless with laughs enjoyed by all!

I would 100% recommend Kat at Kingdom Wedding Photography for any Bride's wedding day photography!

Kingdom Wedding Photography by Kat was the second best decision I made for the big day (saying yes to my awesome now husband was the first best decision of course). Kat was completely down to earth and so very easy to work with. She captured our big day and our personalities flawlessly. She is an incredibly thoughtful individual as well. From a cost perspective, she offered several packages, all of which were very affordable.

Where to begin- as a resident of Ohio, Kat and I were only able to meet electronically up until the day of my wedding; however, when we did finally meet in person I felt like I had known her forever! Kat was so present in the planning of my wedding. She encouraged me to be open with her and tell her exactly what I wanted as far as pictures went. She kept in touch with me through the wedding planning craziness and helped me as much as she could. Not only is she an absolutley amazing photographer, but she is a true professional! She even worked with my bridesmaids to set up a photography registry on her website for my bridal shower! After my bridal shower I was informed of how helpful Kat was, and Kat even sent me screen shots of my registry to let me know how many gifts were received before I could access a computer. On the day of the wedding Kat had no problem riding in the backseat of an SVU to capture shots of me on my way to the ceremony. She had no problem rock climbing at the top of Jay Peak to capture the most breathtakign photos I have ever seen. And she had no problem with my somewhat wild bridesmaids :) I would honestly recommend Kat to anyone, anywhere, who wants a dedicated and amazingly talented photographer.

Kat was hands down AWESOME! She was very accommodating, and very professional. It was refreshing to meet a photographer with new and different ideas rather than the standard cookie-cutter wedding photographers that are a dime a dozen. Kat brought a very unique and very special touch to our wedding memories. My wife and I felt that even after meeting her just one time prior to the wedding, she truly understood the two us and the feel we were going for with our wedding.

Her photos are AMAZING! We are so thrilled with the quality of them, and the one-of-a-kind charm that we both agree suited us and our wedding perfectly.

If we ever have the need - or want - for a photo session in VT, Kat is getting the call without a doubt.

You really cannot go wrong with Kingdom Wedding Photography. If you want your special day to be captured in unique, special, and personal photos, then KWP is the only choice.

Kat was an amazing photographer! She captured the magic on our beautiful day with breathtaking candid and portrait shots. She is quite the artist and has a wonderful eye for angles and poses that bring out the beauty in each couple and background. Kat was laid back, attentive, and a joy to work with. My bridesmaid, who is a photographer, was impressed with how professional she was and only needed to take one shot of each pose to get it right. I recommend Kat to any couple, especially those that are seeking artist and candid photos!

Kat was absolutely amazing. She was calm and relaxed. My husband and I are not very comfortable having our pictures taken, which typically results in very awkward looking photos. Kat was able to make us very comfortable and take very natural looking photos that truly evoke the emotions of our wedding day.

Kat is the perfect photographer if you are looking for someone who is relaxed, unobtrusive, and easy-going. She just hung out with us as everyone was getting ready, capturing candid photos in a photojournalistic style and creating a nice timeline of the events on the day of our wedding. She was always at the right place at the right time, while never being in the way. I must say that I didn't fully appreciate the value of this, until going to other weddings after ours, where the photographer was completely running the show, freaking out about the time and barking orders to everyone. It really took away from the enjoyment of the day, to be bossed around by the photographer and then waiting around for all of the shots to be done. Kat was completely the opposite, and it allowed me to enjoy every single second of our wedding day. We also had our engagement photos done with Kat, which was great. It gave us a chance to get to know each other, and an engagement shoot is a perfect time to play around with different poses and shots you like. We ended up doing one of those shots with us lying on the grass in opposite directions but with our heads next to each other. It was one of our favorites from the engagement pics, and Kat had us repeat the pose on our wedding day, which was perfect. Her photographs come out great, lots of creative touches but not so much that it takes away from the heart and content of the matter. I still love reliving the day by flipping through our album. She also has a paypal account which made it easy to arrange and take care of payment from long-distance like I did. I recommend her work for engagements and weddings without hesitation.

Kat was so much fun, and our pictures are gorgeous. I could not have asked for a better experience. I'm so glad that we used a photographer even though it was just our family, since we decided against having a big celebration later on in the year at home. We had a fantastic experience with Kat. With her professionalism, class and quirky sense of adventure, she was the perfect photographer for us. She is sincere and genuine, qualities that shine through in the resulting photos. We had a tiny transatlantic wedding of 20 (half English, half American) on a shoestring budget in a rural setting, buffeted by rain and winds and washed out by hurricanes... but our photographs glow with the meaning and beauty of a real wedding, with friends, family, love and laughter. Every frame tells a story, and that story is "most awesome wedding of the year." Sorry, Wills and Kate, you should've hired Kat.

Value: Her services are fantastically priced, and what she offers goes above and beyond the competition. Her website is hands-down the most attractive and useful out of all of them. Other photographers in the area will waste your time before eventually admitting that they intend to charge you the moon for very little work. Kat makes it clear exactly what you will get when you work with her.

Ability: Kat knows how to get good photographs, which is important to us. In particular, I do not photograph well (I'm an attractive woman in motion, but I never look comfortable or pretty in photographs) and my husband tends to glaze over when a camera lens is pointed at him. Somehow, Kat took two of the worst models ever and made something beautiful. I felt like I looked beautiful on my wedding day, and I have lovely memories to treasure. We look relaxed and happy. The candids of our family and friends are wonderful. Even the formal portraits are appealing, with a sense of our personalities shining through.

Yes, she caught the high-five.

Skills: It was raining on our wedding day, and Kat was a trooper. Whether sloshing through muddy grass to get the perfect angle, or having her umbrella mobbed by overzealous mothers, Kat remained perfectly chill and calm. (She also managed to do so while keeping her white linen trousers pristine, which proves that she is magical.)

Anecdote: Kat briefly borrowed a friend to hold her big, gorgeous umbrella so that she could snap pictures of our posed portraits. We were on the covered porch of the Kedron Valley in, while Kat was out in the rain. Many of our excitable female relatives realized that Kat had set up the perfect shot while also possessing the perfect shelter. They ran out and stood under her umbrella too, pointing their cameras at us. With remarkable aplomb, Kat side-stepped out into the rain and took pictures of the mothers huddling under the umbrella.

In short: Oh, hire the woman already. ♥

Kat was very professional throughout the entire process. She used her expertise to set up wonderful picture opportunities during the posed session and captured all of the emotional elements of the ceremony. We knew Kat was going to be our wedding photographer within 5 minutes of meeting her. We already saw her flawless work on her website and blogs and her style inspired us to set up a meeting. She was the first and only photographer that we met with and we have absolutely ZERO REGRETS! Her style of photography is so natural and nothing ever felt forced. She captures the beauty and elegance that so many of us miss on the most simple of things. Our wedding pictures and album are amazing. We will always remember our wedding with a big help from Kat! I can not say enough about how wonderful Kat was to work with. She was professional and easy going and really listened to what we wanted. We first met her when we got our engagement pictures taken. Kat at Kingdom Wedding Photography was simply amazing! It seems a lot of photographers overcharge when they hear the word "wedding," but that was not the case with Kat. She offered up excellent service at a reasonable price - the best of both worlds. She drove over two hours (at no extra charge) to be a part of our wedding, climbed down into a creek to get a picture of us (which turned out to be one of our favorite shots), and handled crowd control when some extra people wanted to be involved! Her style of photography produced great shots that captured the moment naturally - we absolutely love our pictures, as do our family and friends. Thank you Kat, for creating such beautiful memories of our wedding day!

Kingdom Wedding Photography/Katrin are amazing. The quality of her photographs speak for themselves. Katrin always responded to my questions or emails in less than 24 hours. She is beyond professional in all aspects of her business. She was so flexible with us in what we asked for photos and for locations of our photos.

Great experience! A few shots I wish we had gotten and didn't, but I suppose one can always think of those in retrospect. Overall it/she was great! I wish I could have paid her to stay longer:) Not too over the top, not in your face photography--very natural and worked well with the flow of the event. I would definitely recommend her services to others!

I was so impressed with the professional and quality service provided by Kingdom Wedding Photography at my friend's wedding that I contacted Katrin about doing my wedding. The value for cost is considerable! Photography can cost an arm and a leg and I was relieved to find someone who provided quality pictures at a cost that wouldn't break my wedding budget. From start to finish my experience with Katrin was positive and I would not hesitate to recommend her to other brides! She listened to exactly what I wanted for the day and delivered on it. The day of my wedding was rainy and I can say with confidence Katrin was prepared rain or shine to make the wedding day special for me and to help capture the memories for me to look back on in the future.

Katrin at Kingdom Wedding Photography was absolutely amazing. She has such a fun personality and from the moment we met her, she was welcoming and friendly! She did not mind my asking millions of questions (even when I repeated myself...) and following up with emails and phone calls.

During the wedding, she fell into the background and captured everything in an unobtrusive way. I didn't notice she was there or feel like I had to pose, yet she captured EVERYTHING. The pictures are beautiful and look so natural. She has a great eye for noticing little details that make a picture beautiful. Some of my favorite pictures are things I wouldn't have noticed myself or thought to ask for a photo of it, like the wedding favors all set up on the table, the menu at the reception table, a small bird house hanging from the tree we got married under, etc. It gave the pictures a magical feel when we looked through them.

I am so happy that Katrin was there on our wedding day! We will always treasure the photos from our wedding day.

She is not only a great photographer, but amazing to work with. I was able to communicate with her even from out of state. She was very professional and I felt went above and beyond the call of duty. She did not just take photos, she captured the day beautifully. Highly recommend.

Katrin was great to work with. My husbands and my expectations where met and exceded with her pricing, quality of work, and promptness of getting to see the pics for ourselves within the following week or two along with the CD delivery (this is very fast concidering some photographers take up to 6 weeks). Just look at her gallery of pictures thats what you will get if you hire her, they are all beautiful and perfectly creative. I dont know how she does it but she gets gorgous pictures out of the simplest things.

Kingdom Wedding Photography was great! They did my wedding on rather short notice, was very accommodating about travel and location. The photos turned out fabulous - I don't think there was a bad one in the bunch and they all looked very natural and relaxed, which was exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Kat was great to work with. She was responsive to all my emails and calls; she delivered exactly what the contract called for; and most importantly -- took beautiful pictures. I didn't really even notice her during the wedding - she blended in and was not intrusive on the moments at all.

Katrin was a pleasure to work with! Her photos are absolutely beautiful-she does a fabulous job of capturing the environment and the light.

Katrin was very professional, and incredibly responsive. Also, we found her to prices to be incredibly competitive. It was bonus that Katrin offers different packages. We really wanted to be able to enjoy the day and not feel like we were staging a photoshoot-- a few other photographers offered only a day flat rate . Katrin was extremely efficient with our time so we could focus on celebrating with our friends and family.

It was so nice to have our photos waiting for us when we returned from our honeymoon and to see a preview on the web before we got home!

The service we got from Katrin was outstanding. We had a small problem with the post office getting our disks to us and Katrin was responsive and patient in making sure she got our pictures to us. She was very flexible, professional and helpful. It felt like a close friend was photographing us, which made us relaxed during the formals. She provides a great service for a great price.

(Chicago has a notriously bad Postal service. Her disk was postmarked 3 days after our wedding and it took Chicago 6 weeks to get it to us)

My husband and I are so glad that we chose Kat for our wedding photographer! She was so easy going and that helped take a lot of stress out of our big day. She was able to capture the look and feel we wanted our photographs to have. We both feel she took the time to listen to what we wanted and really delivered! Katrin took some amazing photos at our wedding in October. I was a little disappointed in the lack of variety of the pictures. I would recommend that brides planning on using Katrin be very specific on the exact photos that you want, and follow-up on the day to make sure these photos are taken.
