Choosing KCF as our wedding venue was beyond worth it! Not only did we get an incredibly beautiful and functional space for our wedding ceremony, reception, and getting ready, but we also had accommodations for the whole weekend on site and places for family & friends to stay close by at The Retreat cottages. One of the biggest advantages of King Cole Farm was the fact that we could do a weekend wedding package, the amount of furniture and amenities provided, flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, and incredibly professional staff and service. They had wedding ceremony indoor and outdoor options, so that weather wouldn’t be an issue, ample space so we didn’t have to cut down our guest list, great relationships with vendors in our price range, and the most amazing house and groomsmen’s lodge for our bridal party to enjoy beforehand.

Plus, on a budget, it was so easy to decorate minimally or to go all out, and still have all the spaces look beautiful because of the stunning farmhouse tables, wooden bar options, etc. Annemarie, Rachel, and the whole team are incredibly thorough in their communication, vendor recommendations, pre-event planning, and the resources they provide to make your event seamless. Having access to Aisle Planner was huge for our ability to stay organized, and we truly couldn't have been successful without their guidance and recommendations on bartenders, day-of coordinator, scheduling, and more. My husband and I cannot think of anything that went "wrong" during our wedding, and we know that credit is due to them!

Annemarie and the team have been so thoughtful and intentional in their offerings to go above and beyond a venue space, making sure you have everything you need and then some. When we were considering our options, it was a no-brainer to choose them, and they continued to prove that to us time and time again. We are super grateful for King Cole Farm and the team, and we are so glad we chose them for our wedding!

King Cole Farm in Dover, DE was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. The setting was beautiful and welcoming, and the team was truly amazing to work with, professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making everything seamless. The on-site house was the perfect addition, giving us and our guests a true getaway experience while still being incredibly convenient and accessible for everyone. From start to finish, King Cole Farm made our weekend feel effortless, special, and unforgettable.

King Cole Farm was the absolute perfect place for our wedding! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and warmth we received were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The entire team made us feel genuinely cared for, supported, and welcomed every step of the way.

The venue itself is beautifully kept, full of charm, and the ideal backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests loved the fire pits and yard games during cocktail hour. They have every amenity you could imagine inside the residence they have on the property which is included when you book the whole weekend. Some of our family rented the cabins at King Cole Retreat which is perfect for close family to stay at during the weekend festivities. The pole barn has the most gorgeous wooden tables and chairs and has a groomsmen suite for the guys to hang out in all day until the ceremony.

What truly set King Cole Farm apart was the exceptional kindness and attentiveness of everyone there. They were organized, responsive, and always one step ahead, making the whole day flow effortlessly. Their thoughtfulness made a huge difference and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding hospitality and unforgettable experience. King Cole Farm is an A++ venue in every sense, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special place to celebrate.

This is the perfect venue for your special day! We fell in love with King Cole Farm as soon as we stepped foot on the gorgeous property. We had our wedding party and immediate family stay with us at the beautiful house that is right next to the stunning pole barn. Annemarie and Jim will make you feel like a part of the family and will help make your wedding the wedding of your dreams!

Annemarie and Jim were amazing in helping to make out day incredibly special. Our wedding went without a hitch and the venue was absolutely perfect. They have a plan for any possible weather event and last minute changes. The event space was gorgeous and all of our guests felt welcome and comfortable.

King Cole Farm is truly the most amazing place to get married. From the moment I walked onto the property, I knew it was the place I wanted to get married… I just had to convince my husband!
When he saw the place we both immediately knew that it was where we wanted to get married. When booking the venue, it was not yet completed and I had all the faith in Annemarie and Jim that it would be as spectacular as the blueprints… AND IT WAS!

When the big day arrived, Annemarie and Jim were were nothing short of wonderful - the place was beautiful and they were so accommodating to our weekend full of events. We wanted to do something different then the normal wedding weekend, with having a welcome party on Friday night and even having the rehearsal dinner on sight, followed by a breakfast the morning after our wedding. They fogged the place for bugs numerous times leading up to the big day, and made sure the place perfect. With all of the moving parts, Annemarie and Jim were so helpful the entire weekend. Everyone tells you to be prepared, that things will not always go your way, Annemarie and Jim ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible and I truly cannot thank them enough for all of the behind the scenes work that they did to make sure our day ran smoothly. They did an amazing job of making sure everything was ready when we arrived, but also worked with us to make the event space ours and unique to what we wanted. With the polar barn being a blank slate, you really have the opportunity to make it yours!

Knowing that we had a band coming in, KCF even made sure they hired an electrician to make sure they had enough support to host the band, as well as sound proofing the ceiling. They just went above and beyond in everything, and were very organized from the start!

They also allowed us to stay in the house, which was incredible to have both families in there leading up to the wedding. It is clean, beautiful and was a great way to spend time as a family before the wedding and of course, solo on our wedding night!

We couldn’t be more recommending of King Cole Farm, Annemarie, and Jim. I think overall yes, their venue is amazing, yes, they are extremely organized and communicate exceptionally well, BUT more importantly, they are incredibly nice and genuine people. We felt like we had known them for our entire lives and you could feel that they were invested in our wedding, just as much as we were. I feel like nowadays in the wedding industry, you don’t necessarily get that, but with Jim and Annemarie, they make you feel that from the moment you step foot on their beautiful 500 acre farm. That is what makes this place so special, the family bond they create with the bride and groom and of course, their families and guests.
I would like to also give a special shout-out to our Band, Goody Blue Shoes Band, as well as our wonderful photographer, Chelsea Fluharty Photography and our officiant, Tom Robinson. Our day would not have been possible without the help of those that were behind the scenes.

All in all, if you’re trying to make a decision to go with King Cole Farm, stop thinking and book. You will not find a sight that cares for you like King Cole does. From the rich history of the farm, the stunning views and the wonderful owners, you will not be disappointed. They truly helped us have the most memorable day of our lives and we are forever grateful for them! King Cole Farm, you will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Annemarie and Jim truly gave us the wedding of our dreams. From the moment we visited King Cole for the first time, to the very last dance on our wedding day, they were nothing but kind, attentive, and flexible. Even though we were one of the first weddings at the venue, you would have thought they had been holding weddings for years. It was so nice being able to stay at the property and having the time to set up and break down all of our decorations. We weren’t rushed and we were made to feel right at home. The venue is breathtaking which was evident in all of our photos and video. All of our guests raved about how stunning the property was. The day was our dream come true!

Annemarie and Jim are absolutely amazing! The venue is beautiful and they were there every step of the way to make things go smoothly. I can not recommend King Vole Farm enough!!!

King cole is a dream! The pole barn is a blank slate but beautiful all on its own. You could not have decor or go above the top and it would still show itself as a gorgeous venue. The owners left out not a single detail when building. Everything was thought of and it shows. They are incredibly accommodating, very responsive, and truly care about your day. You can’t find an experience like this anywhere else. From the accommodations in the renovated home to the venue itself and everything in between you will be blown away as will your guests. Everyone said it was like a Pinterest venue and it was an unforgettable weekend. Can’t recommend enough ❤️

There are so many good things to say about Annemarie and Jim. They kept us up to date on every bit of the process. They allowed us to look at the property several times and were so accommodating. Annemarie is so empathetic and really looks at things from the brides perspective. I would not have wanted our wedding anywhere else. The venue and the house are BEAUTIFUL and it was nice that we were able to stay all weekend. This really helped with nerves and preparation. I will continue to recommend them to every couple I come in contact with.
