Wonderful Experience
Kyra and Kind Hearted Images were wonderful! Our wedding took place at a summer camp in Occidental, CA. There had never really been a large wedding there before, so we were all learning as we went. Kyra was patient, gracious, enthusiastic, and the epitome of professionalism (even during some chaotic times!). She so eagerly supported our unusual vision. When we first met with her, it felt like meeting an old friend. Throughout the whole experience, she made sure to understand our priorities and made sure that our vision was realized.
On the day of the wedding, she also served as an official coordinator and kept us on track in terms of time. She somehow knew exactly what I needed, included a quiet mom with my family. During the ceremony and much of the reception, I was completely unaware of her and Candice, the second photographer. They seemed to completely blend into the background. Immediately after the ceremony, they kindly and efficiently got the couple photos. Although I had never met Candice, the second photographer, she was equally wonderful and so patiently arranged my dress for each shot. The sneak preview photos came within days of the wedding, and they were gorgeous. My hope was that candid moments, expressions and hugs were be captured, and that is exactly what Kind Hearted images did! -

Best vendor we hired
Kyra and Inka were the best vendors we hired. The second they got to the venue they were moving nonstop (even through the weekend heat wave we were experiencing). They brought a box of small props for our details like rings, jewelry, etc. They both gave us great directions (since we are awkward in photos) and had such great attention to details. They truly knew what they were doing and we loved it! We scheduled photos for after our ceremony, but the sun was too harsh so we pivoted and were able to switch around our couple's photos for later. They didn't want us to miss dinner or the sunset so we moved fast. We're so glad we got photos taken at that time because those are our favorites! Kyra sent us sneak peeks the next day! We can't wait to see the rest of the photos! Don't wait to book Kind Hearted Images! They are professional, friendly, and made things go smoothly! -

Wonderful Wedding Experience
My husband and I have worked with Kyra before for our engagement shoot. We actually won a raffle where I purchased my dress and that's how we met her. From day one the chemistry was there, so polite and easy to work with. She has a lot of experience so she helped me get comfortable in front of the camera and clear directions on how to pose. She also did our family mini fall photoshoots which also cane out amazing. We hired her with zero hesitation for our wedding and everything exceeded our expectations. Such a great crew. -

Having mind hearted images document our wedding was one of the best decisions we made for that day. Kyra is everything one would need in a wedding photographer. Kyra really made everything so easy and painless. Super quick responding to my emails and we had a phone interview before the wedding. She wanted to meet in person once or twice but it didn’t work with my schedule so I filled out her questionnaire and we got to know each other a bit by phone. She is so easy going and professional. We were running late the morning of the wedding and I was panicking and she sent me a text that totally calmed me down. Something like “don’t worry about a thing. Take your time, drive safe, and I’m ready whenever you are.” It was exactly what I needed to hear. When we got to city hall she directed us every step on the way. Telling us exactly what to do, where to stand, where to put your hands, where to look it was fantastic. SO easy and quick and painless. The pictures came out so beautiful and I could not be happier. She was such a star and I’m so appreciative. Something I was expecting to be stressful and awkward ended up being the opposite - it was actually really fun. Oh and I received the album much sooner than I even expected. -

When I first spoke with Kyra on the phone about wedding photography I felt like she listened and fully understood what I was looking for. We decided to hire her and we were so thrilled with her work when we received our photos! Kyra was super flexible with us when it came time for our engagement photos, we had to reschedule a few times due to rain. Kyra planned a wonderful photo shoot for us at a coffee shop and the Palace of Fine Arts. My husband and I had NEVER taken professional photos. We were nervous leading up to it but Kyra made us feel so comfortable! She even provided outfit ideas for us. When the day came, it felt like Kyra was a long-time friend. She chatted with us and guided us through poses. The time flew by so quickly! For the wedding day Kyra helped me make a day-of timeline and schedule. She met with me in person and talked me through the entire day. Kyra asked me very specific questions about each part of the day and afterward I felt so prepared because she was on my team! When our wedding day came Kyra was at City Hall early and had figured out all the logistics, including how many people were before us in line. I had more family/friends than expected but Kyra went with the flow. She guided my family through all the shots that I had requested with Kyra before hand. At our reception Kyra took amazing photos and captured so many special moments. The editing process and selecting photos for our albums was a breeze with Kyra's online system. The hard part was selecting the photos because Kyra took so many stunning and beautiful shots. We are so thankful we found Kyra because she is so talented, professional, helpful, and has great ideas! She has so much experience and it shows because she thinks of every detail! I plan to refer Kyra to all my family/friends and hire her for future photography as well. Thank you Kyra! You are THE BEST!!! -

The most kind and sweet person to ever do business with
Kyra and her team are the best people you could possibly choose to work with when it comes to something as stressful as a wedding. She is very clear in what will be included in your photography package, listens closely to what you ask for, and is very flexible. She is a photographer who loves what she does, and aims to please and exceed expectations. Turn around time was very fast compared to other photographers. Not only did we get all our proofs digitally, but she put personalized touches such as providing us a personalized wooden box with cardstock pictures of us, a fancy PERSONALIZED glass usb, as well as a photobook. That is a photograper who doesn’t stop at just taking pictures, but gives you a final professionally finished product that you will always have forever. I wanted a photographer that both my husband and I felt comfortable with. We knew we wanted to support a small business but did not want to sacrifice on quality.
Kyra’s portfolio caught our attention after she was recommended by a photographer friend of my husband. When we met her for the first time, we were sold. We did both the wedding and engagement shoot with her. She was able to capture our personalities and our love for each other on film. She even made this (incredibly self critical bride) feel beautiful.
This team is awesome. I would unequivocally recommend them to and for anyone. They are a great value and offer superb customer service. -
