All i can say is WOW about Preston & Lindsay Kinard! They were amazing. They took time with each photo and really made you feel comfortable. They spent time with you and getting to know us. They were there when we needed them and we could not have asked for better photographers. If you are lucky enough to book them for anything DO IT!!

Kinard photography has been amazing to work with from day one. They were very quick to respond to an email I had sent inquiring about availability. We had our first meeting with them and it was so laid back and fun to talk with them. They treated us more like friends, than clients right from the start. During our engagement photo session I felt so awkward but Preston and Lindsay were great at getting both me and my now husband to relax and just have fun with it. They figured out quickly how to showcase OUR personalities and not just take standard photos for us. I appreciated that so very much. Our photos were gorgeous when we received them. We had the pleasure of working with them again this past week for our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. They know how to multi task to keep things running smoothly but while keeping quality high. Denise was our videographer that day and the amount of dedication she put into different scenes from the day was amazing. Lindsay and Denise laid in gravel at one point just to get a different photo and video aspect for us. All three of them were so great at making sure that everything was in place-guys tuxes buttoned appropriately, no squinting and pulling my earrings out of veil multiple times throughout the day. They pay attention to the small things and that is something that makes me recommend them highly to others.

I can not speak highly enough of Kinard Photography & now videography. From the first sit down, where we all chatted about how excited my (now) wife and I were to find a photographer with a realistic photo booth. That was very important to us. Months down the line, they had to discontinue the photobooth for technical difficulties. Sure we were upset about it, but they were quick to offer a solution. An open air photo booth, that actually ended up better than what we anticipated, because we were able to fit more people into the photos. We got so many great pictures with family and friends. Every photo they took, be it our engagement session or on the big day, they were on top of their game. Even in photos where we weren't completely confident on the placement, they managed to turn into works of art. This is the company you want if you are able to relinquish a little creative control and trust that they will make you beautiful.

Kinard Photography was the saving grace of our wedding. On a day so big and overwhelming it was nice to know that everything Kinard Photography did was A-rate and better. My wife had told me horror stories of many photographers that had been at weddings of her friends. From the first time we skyped with Preston and Lindsey we knew they were nothing but the correct choice. They had a amazing deal going and extended the date so we could still get the savings. They worked with us to find a place for our engagement photos that was the setting we wanted and worked the best. They were extremely flexible with the dates and times of our engagement photos. We did get rained out for the photo shoot, but they still managed to make the photos grand. On top of their flexibility, they are unquestionably the most down to earth couple we know. Our wedding also got rained out; however once again they stepped in to make our pictures the one of the greatest moments of our day. We also rented the photo booth for the night. It recorded video and is still giving us hours of laughter today. We just got our pictures back and the quality and creativity of the shots is superb. My wife can't even believe she looks as good as she does in those photos. Kinard Photography made the memories of that night last for ever in their photos. If you want the best photographers in the land, I suggest you give Kinard Photography a call.

Preston and Lindsay are the epitome of what it means to be an EXCELLENT photographer. The largest thing that stands out to me is how my husband and I had the worst luck when it came it getting married. For our engagement pictures, it was pouring rain the entire time, and Preston and Lindsay worked with us through the rain, because they knew how much we wanted outdoor fall pictures for our save the dates. They were very patient with us the entire time, and worked hard to snap all of the pictures we wanted. Then, on our wedding day, there were torrential downpours and sideways rain; we were supposed to have an outdoor wedding. My heart was broken that I wouldn't have any outdoor pictures with my husband. When I was getting ready on our big day, we were trying to figure out where we were going to have our ceremony since the outdoor location, even with a tent, was not going to work. Preston and Lindsay were there, and kept me calm the entire time. It was later in the night when I found out how amazing they really are. After the ceremony, my husband informed me that Preston had approached him and told him that, if we were willing to get dressed up again, he and Lindsay would meet us to take our wedding pictures on a later date of our choosing, without charge. I couldn't help it; I cried. Not only do these two have hearts of gold, they also do a spectacular job. They carry themselves professionally, and worked hard to get all of the pictures we wanted. They are very down-to-earth and easygoing, and their pictures are AMAZING. All in all, I think that Preston and Lindsay are the best photographers I've ever worked with, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks. They made our wedding day one that we will NEVER forget!

I'm not big into taking pictures but Kinard Photography made the experience for our wedding fun and enjoyable. It was like I didn't even realize they were there. They made my bride and me feel so comfortable and were quick about everything. However, the attention to details and the quality of photos did not show that. Our pictures are amazing and something we will forever treasure. If you're on the fence about a photographer, have no fear- these are the people you want. Thank you, Preston & Lindsay.

I want to begin by saying that I have never worked with a more professional but very personable pair of individuals! Each moment of our daughter’s wedding day was captured in a photo. From hair and make-up in the morning, to the hotel while getting dressed and ready, to the church to prepare to walk down the aisle. Lindsay was always with the ladies and Preston was with the men preparing for the ceremony.

Family and wedding party photos went so smoothly as did going to a different location for fun, outside pictures. The Kinards took priceless photos at the reception and stayed way into the evening, even asking before they departed if there were any others we would like to have taken. Now that’s great customer service!!!

As I looked through the proofs for the very first time, tears filled my eyes to know that our daughter and son-in-law’s entire day was captured through each individual picture!!

Preston and Lindsay, the owners of Kinard Photography, take the time to get to know the bride and groom. The photos they took of our engagement session and wedding day captured the personalities of both of us and turned out amazing. They have ideas of their own but also work with you to show some of your own creativeness. The husband and wife duo make you feel so comfortable all day long and really help you throughout your wedding day. Preston and Linsday are FANTASTIC to work with and go above and will go above and beyond for your special event! My sister did a lot of research when choosing a photographer for her wedding and so when I got engaged, I knew the first thing I had to do was book with Kinard Photography! We met with them to go over the contract and I was blown away with their organization, details, and options. They indicated they'd be there from make-up til the reception and everything in between. Once we met them, I knew my sister was right (they were awesome!) and we booked right away. Leading up to the wedding, I was able to send them ideas of pictures that I would like and they were always available to answer my questions. We met prior to the wedding to go over last minute details. On the day of the wedding, Preston and LIndsay showed up early to get photos of both the girls and guys getting ready. They were there as I got my wedding dress and Lindsay even helped me pick out my earrings. They helped us plan our "first look" and capture those photos, not to mention all of the ones at the wedding! Preston rode the party bus with us and Lindsay followed along to picture spots on the way to the reception. Before they left that evening, they made sure to check with me, my Mom, and my groom's mom, to make sure all the photo's we wanted had been taken. I do have to make a point here to say that they're both more than just photographers - they are like wedding planners and family, too! Preston helped deliver the flowers to the guys at the church (and help them get them on the right away) and during down time while getting ready, both Preston and Lindsay sat with us girls and just chatted. I think this is probably what sets them apart from everyone else. And of course they're excellent photographers and their ability to capture the moments, so quickly and with such efficiency! I would highly, highly recommend these two - you'll be glad you did!

Having worked in the wedding industry I knew that after picking a date for the wedding that the first thing to do is find an excellent photographer. If I hadn't known this I would have missed the chance to work with Kinard, and my photos would not have been as amazing as they are! They book up super fast, so don't hesitate! The cake and the food won't last, but the pictures will! This married duo is so great to work with and very prompt on answering questions and wanting to know your ideas before the big day. We had so much fun working with Preston and Lindsay and I am not lying when I saw I look at our wedding pictures weekly, they are that good. They have great wedding packages at every budget. Our package came with so many great add ons. Now we just have to choose what we want to order and they handle the rest! I can't wait to work with them again at my sisters wedding!!! Besides the groom, choosing Kinard was the best choice!

Preston and Lindsey were a great team. They were very kind, organized, and warm from the start. My wife and I were unable to meet with them, but the day of the wedding it felt like we had already known them for years. They were great at keeping the photography schedule organized. I also loved how Preston would take the photos while Lindsey set up everyone up for the photo which was great because no one felt confused or left out of the photo taking process. After taking the wedding party photos Preston and Lindsey were kind enough to drive us to the church by stuffing my wife's dress into the car along with all their equipment. The drive was only about 20 min., but we learned so much about Preston and Lindsey and they were happy to talk about our lives as well. They stayed through our wedding from early in the morning to the end at around 1pm. They were great! Took beautiful photos, and I will refer them to anyone who needs great photos taken by a great couple.

My husband and I chose Kinard Photography for many reasons. When we began the planning process of our wedding we knew having the right photographer for our day was a big priority. Someone with whom really saw our vision, was great to work with, and of course was available on our date. Preston and Lindsay were just that. I researched many photographers and came across a friend here in Decatur and absolutely loved her pictures. I talked to her and her family about who she went with for a photographer for her wedding and she said Kinard Photography. I then began emailing Preston. We discussed finalizing our date, whether they were available, our photography package, and budget. Preston and Linsday were so great when working with our budget. I think this was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to go with them because I knew if they were that willing to make a bride happy regarding her budget while still being at the wedding all day/night that they were definitely concerned about their bride and grooms as individuals and not just clients. And I knew how well known they were and how great of a job they do. Which is what made me decide I definitely want them to be our photographers for our big day. My husband and I dated since Freshman year of high school before we got married and I wanted a photographer that would be able to capture all of our story as well as including how blessed we were to be surrounded by so many great family and friends. Preston and Lindsay got to know so many people from our hair stylists to long-distance family members. And so many people said they were such a great couple and really seem to love what they do. God truly has blessed them with such a great talent, and Derek and I were lucky enough to have crossed their path and been given the opportunity to have them as our photographers on our wedding day. They went above and beyond.

Like many grooms, I didn't have much of an opinion on a lot, as long as my fiancee was happy! However, after meeting Preston & Lindsay Kinard, I agreed 100% that we needed to hire them for our wedding. The Kinards are very personable, pay great attention to detail and are fun to work with. We chose to work with Kinard Photography because my sister highly recommended them after working with them for her wedding. And we couldn't have picked better photographers! They are such nice, down to earth people who take amazing photos that my husband and I will cherish the rest of our lives. Wedding planning was very stressful, but when it came to my photos, I knew we were in great hands. They were so fun to work with and even suggested a great party bus that we ended up getting for the wedding party to ride around in on the big day--it was a blast! We also rented the VIP Photo booth from the Kinards and all of our guests kept telling us how much fun they were having using props and taking photos. They went above and beyond in every way imaginable. On the wedding day, Lindsay even gave me a ride from the makeup studio back to my aunt's house so I could finish getting my hair done! I highly recommend these photographers! You won't be disappointed!!!! Our photos are so amazing!

They were just amazing. Professional understanding and just loads of fun to work with. We didnt have to worry about a thing. Except for the weather of course but the rain held off long enough for us to get the pictures we needed.

I loved working with KINARD photography! They listened to what we wanted and they welcome your ideas/examples you find online, such as Pinterest. They made our day special and captured all the important moments. We loved them!! Photography is the most important thing in a wedding, because that is what is going to remain after your wedding is over. You will look at your pictures for years and years. KINARD photography did not disappoint and made sure we were happy with everything! They had lots of packages to choose from, including a engagement session. Kinard photography is a great choice for your wedding photography. Preston and Lindsay are extremely helpful, receptive, and professional. They came fully prepared for my wedding and made me feel like everything was under control. Since pictures and memories are all you have after the wedding day, it is important you get a photographer you love and trust. Kinard was awesome! Our wedding day was wonderful. Our photographers were very organized, helpful, and Lindsay pretty much had everything we needed from superglue, to a sewing kit, to safety pins! I would not hesitate to recommend Kinard to other couples. The wedding package, reprint credit, everything is a great value and an awesome deal. It is obvious they know what they’re doing and they know how to make couples feel truly special and beautiful. I have never been complimented so many times in one day! Preston and Lindsey are fantastic photographers to work with!! We live out of town, so our time in Quincy is limited, but they were very helpful in working with our busy schedule. it was really great getting the chance to work with Preston and Lindsey! They were able to arrange for a specific package deal for the wedding since we were planning on doing engagement pics elsewhere. The fact that they were able to individualize like that was very impressive to me. The day of the wedding they were great in capturing the getting ready pics at the salon and at the hotel. I also felt they made good use of the time given them to take pictures at the church both before and after the ceremony. They had plans for where to place people and didn't take uber long doing so. It was great that they were even so flexible as to play with the pictures that I wanted with sparklers. Overall I really enjoyed having them be a part of our wedding day and I can't wait to see our pictures!

We are so happy that we choose Kinard Photography to be apart of our wedding day! They made everything so easy and gave us nothing to worry about. They were there from getting ready to everyone leaving the reception. We could not have asked for anything more. They were even there to help us fold pocket squares just the right way before pictures! I know there is nobody else better than Kinard Photography. They were more than photographers; they were great friends as well!

So far I have only had my engagement photos done by Kinard. But just through the time I have been working with them, they have been fantastic. It kept raining on the days we planned on taking engagement photos and Preston and Lindsey were very flexible with rescheduling. The prices are quite fair and Preston and Lindsey are honestly just wonderful people to work with! I look forward to them being the photographers at our wedding!

We used Kinard Photography and Photobooths for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing. They were patient and kind hearted and were more than willing to do things exactly how we wanted. Preston and Lindsey treated us like family and we couldn't imagine sharing our special day with anyone else.

We are so blessed to have two great people in our lives to share in so many memories. From our first snowball fight, to "I Do's", to connecting outside of photography. I look at our wedding pictures everyday and relive every moment of that day because Preston Kinard and Lindsay Russell Kinard know how to capture everything in a picture! They are great photographers but you can see that with the pictures they take. We are blesses because even if its just one day they are part of your friends and family, making sure its everything you ever dreamed of, plus some. I'm not sure how to thank you guys enough for such a wonderful job! We absoulty love our pictures and nobody can find a bad picture, personally I love having that problem! Thank you for everything!

My fiance and I had the pleasure of working with Preston and Lindsay for our engagement pictures and cannot wait for our wedding day to get here! The two were so easy and fun to work with and our pictures turned out amazing! They were very flexible and even drove an hour to another location that was special to us to take some more pictures. Preston and Lindsey are brilliant photographers and such friendly people! The pictures from my daughter's wedding are creative and simply gorgeous! They were completely professional and such a joy to work with. We made many special requests and they went out of their way to meet every need. Our phone conversations to plan the day were filled with laughter and on the wedding day they made everyone feel comfortable (even paying off the very young ring bearer so he would stay in the picture! which worked!) From the church pictures which capture the awe and reverence of the day, to the outside shots that range from stunningly gorgeous to silly and carefree, to the touching tear-filled moments when a mother-of-the-bride and a father-of-the-bride can't contain their emotions any longer.. Preston and Lindsay were our choice photographers for our wedding nearly 5 years ago. Not only did we get great service and products at a great price we gained two amazing friends. Since our wedding we have used their services for maternity and our son's first year pictures. We continue to be blown away by their creativity and all the products available to their clients for purchase. There is no need to wonder "what if" when it comes to their products because they got so many on display and available for viewing so you can touch, feel and really fall in love with the product you are ordering. Did I mention affordability? They are very reasonably priced, which really puts this budget minded mom at ease! All in all Kinard Photography has provided us with nothing but EXCELLENT service and products.

I always knew that we would have Kinard Photography! Many of our friends and family have used Kinard Photography for their weddings and LOVED the pictures. We actually decided on our wedding date based upon the availability of our band, florist, and photographers!!!!
Preston and Lindsey were absolutely amazing to work with - they went to any location for both our engagement and wedding pictures, had FABULOUS ideas for pictures, and allowed us to add extras(canvas or metal art) onto any photography package! Kinard Photography will also give you copy rights to the photos if you want them!!! They don't ask you to pose for anymore pictures than necessary. They love to take pictures of when a bride and groom are in the moment or the bridal party is just being themselves! There is just soooo many reasons I would recommend them!
Preston and Lindsey are very understanding and flexible. When my husband and I had our engagement pictures done in November 2013 it was around 20` degrees outside and our eyes were watering from the wind. Preston advised that if we were not happy with the pictures that they could even take them again! (How many photographers would offer this?!)
On our wedding day, Preston even rode in our party bus to catch the start of our celebration! He blends right in with any crowd and is such a fun person. He goes with the flow no matter what picture he is asked to take!
We have had soooo many compliments on our pictures which only makes me more excited to get our BIG canvas and photo album!
The advise I would give to any bride and groom is ---
Please keep in mind that pictures last FOREVER and will be the best way to treasure your special days events!
Thank you soooo much to Kinard Photography for giving us so many amazingly beautiful pictures to remember forever!

I read the other reviews that were available while trying to make my final decision on the photographer. I am more than impressed with the professionalism of Preston and Lindsay. I felt so confident that the photos and the members of my wedding party were in the utmost care.

Everyone comments on how beautiful my engagement and wedding photos were captured in such a creative and artistic way.

I would recommend Kinard Photography to anyone. They are the most patient and likeable couple ever.

I have worked with Kinard twice now and both times they were able to deal with my very LARGE family. Being we had a big enough family I had to break up my session in 2 sittings. While i was stressed out they both kept me at ease by helping me tell my family where to go and when to let the next set come. I wanted to get nice photos with my daughter with ALL her family not just me and her dad and i believe from looking how the 1st set of pictures turned out that the 2nd set will work out amazing. If i was not moving out of the area i would 100% use them again. since i cant be hear to use them I will just let my friends and family know that they are great to work with.

We used Kinard Photography and were extremely pleased with Lindsay and Preston. They made the process extremely easy from going over details for engagement/wedding photos to ordering photos. The package was extremely affordable for being on a tight budget. The quality of the photos were great! Both were very professional and captured all the pictures we wanted and more! I definitely recommend Kinard Photography for engagement and wedding photos!

I am so glad we chose Kinard Photography. From what I had seen online, they were great photographers. As we got to know them through our meetings, they were extremely nice, professional, down-to-earth, helpful, and willing to try any ideas we had. We were excited for our big day and knew we were in great hands for our pictures. Something I appreciated the most was how smooth they made everything that day. They were quick so we could get in all the pictures we wanted, but were meticulous enough to make every picture perfect. Not to mention, the pictures were fun! We and our guests loved the photos. We would not have chosen anyone other than Kinard Photography.

Preston & Lindsey were wonderful to work with! We had an outdoor wedding planned for May 4th which in the Midwest is somewhat hard to predict weather wise. The night before the wedding we met with Preston & Lindsey to work out a plan for the day. They were warm, friendly and full of ideas and a plan of action in case we got rained out. Of course we did! This could have been awful but the couple made the day run so smoothly. They were there from the start of the day when we were getting ready, sometimes completely unnoticed. Though I have not yet seen the pictures I can already guess they will be beautiful. Preston & Lindsey brought fun props for our photos and suggested lots of interesting poses. We also used their photo booth services which were an absolute hit! Really reasonably priced & they let us choose the time we wanted to run them & promised to keep it open late if we didn't feel we got enough time in there by the end of the night. Towards the start of the evening a part of the photo booth got wet and was malfunctioning, they let us know right away what was happening and what they were doing to fix it. Normally I would have had a bit of a panic attack at this, but I actually felt totally calm and knew they would have it fixed in no time-which they did! The last thing that really sealed the deal for us was that they offered to come back to town (which is quite a long drive for them) on a nicer day to shoot extra photos of us in our wedding garb if we didn't feel we got enough on the actual wedding day due to the rain/mud and limited areas we were able to shoot. Though I have complete confidence that they managed to get a variety of shots I thought that was such a kind and wonderful thing to offer us! They absolutely didn't have to offer such a thing, but the fact that they did makes me 100% certain that Kinard Photography is worth working with.

we loved everything about Kinard Photography! Lindsey, Preston, and Carissa were more than amazing to work with. When my fiance and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding, we did not have to look far. We had heard nothing but great things about Kinard Photography. From the moment I got to the salon, photos were being snapped. They didn't miss a thing. The Kinard team was there taking pictures of our entire day. We never felt like we were pushed or needed to do anything that we didn't want to. We have recieved so many wonderful compliments on our photos. All of the pictures turned out perfect! Michael and I will have lots of great pictures to choose from for prints. Preston and Lindsay did a very nice job! They both paid close attention to details that I never would have thought of. Michael and I are very glad we chose Kinard Photography to do our Engagement / Wedding photograph!

We loved everything about kinard photography! Lindsey, Preston, and Carissa were more than amazing to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better group of photographers. Lindsey and Carissa were with us early at the salon taking pictures of every moment and they did that throughout the whole day! The photographers of Kinard Photography were absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I were planning our wedding from a different location than our wedding location, and Preston and Lindsey were flexible and willing to meet with us when we were able to make it back to the area. On the wedding day, two photographers were with our bridal party as soon as we began getting ready the morning of the wedding and had three photographers through the ceremony and reception. All of the photographers were extremely professional as they took several pictures without the bridal party even noticing they were there. Additionally, my husband and I had met with Preston and Lindsey prior to our wedding and had mentioned a couple different pictures and poses that we wanted captured. They were so receptive of our ideas and all of our special moments were captured beautifully by them. We were extremely happy that we chose Kinard as our wedding photographer and would recommend them to anyone who is having their wedding in the Quincy area. Thank you Kinard Photography!

Kinard Photography was so great for our day! I was so fortunate to be able to book them 2 days prior to my wedding because of a mishap with my original photographer! I think it was a blessing in disguise. They did a great job and put my mind at ease. I didn't have to worry about a thing. They are great to work with, very flexible and strive to meet your needs or preferences. We had a son in March 2011 and they have done his growup sessions as well. I recommend them to anyone I know looking for a photographer!

Kinard Photography provided our family with a wonderful package for newborn photos through the first year. They were very easy to work with and always scheduled sessions for times that were easy for us. They always got the pictures back to us quickly and the only time we had a problem with our order they made up for it with a few free prints. They were great to work with and now we have fantastic photos of our daughters first year of life.
