Kim was one of our first vendors we hired! From our first phone call I knew she was the right fit for us! She did everything for us including our engagement photos, boudoir shoot and wedding photos! She also helped me find my dream hair and makeup artist! She is a true girl's girl but is so relaxed but energized at the same time! She makes you feel confident and comfortable every time! I would recommend Kim for literally any event or occasion you have! -

Could not recommend her more. Kim went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted from our photos. She even met me at the venue to do a walk through a few weeks before the wedding so we could scope out the best backdrops, etc. We had 2 shooters and they did a fantastic job with both posed and candid shots. The morning after the wedding, we woke up to an email from Kim with a "preview" of several photos from the day. Such a nice surprise! We also got our full album much faster than was promised in our contract. I'm obsessed with the photos, the only problem is narrowing them down. Thank you, Kim, for capturing our day so perfectly! -
User1982242 Sent on 12/23/2014From my engagement photos to my wedding images I just loved not only my experience but my quality of images I received! She made me feel at such ease in front of her camera and kept reassuring me I was looking great and beautiful- words every woman wants to hear esp since loosing over 100+ pounds. My now husband hates taking photos but kimberly took the time and effort to make him at ease and actually enjoy all the photo taking a wedding involves! I received my album last month and loved it!!! Compared to the other sonoma county photographers I researched she was extremely priced fairly and great quality! I highly recimmend her! -
User1985501 Sent on 12/27/2014I wish I could give Kimberly 10 stars for quality and flexibility! She photographed my catholic church wedding in Santa Rosa, CA and then my reception at a local winery/wine cave in Sonoma. Less than a week before my wedding my ceremony time was changed to the very early morning instead of the original time of 330pm ceremony and dinner at 630pm. Her and I worked very hard on coming up with a timeline that worked for the both of us and would in return give the best image due to lighting conditions. I freaked out when I found out my church had an issue and was forcing us to get married at 10am. Unfortunately her second shooter she had planned was unable to switch times and it was too last minute to take on another second shooter so she shot solo, but the images would never tell this. She not only brought in extra equipment but she worked with the church before hand to provide canopies and founded shaded areas for us to keep the sun out of our eyes. On top of all this she came back to the reception location at 4pm to take additional images of us at sunset as she knew how badly I wanted those. I just received all my images back and could not be happier and told her I would be more than happy to write her a review! -
User1982236 Sent on 12/23/2014My wedding was at a private estate in Sonoma County, CA in the summer and I was searching for a photographer frantically as mine had cancelled due to a family illness 3 months prior to my wedding. I found Kimberly on Facebook through a mutual friend and we met up at her home and we immediately hit it off. I was surprised to find someone so young yet so put together. She walked me through a wedding day timeline, showed me some beautiful albums and other examples. I fell in love with her romantic images and booked her immediately. She was so responsive to all my needs via email and text and met with me twice to go over the venue. On the day of my wedding I felt like she was more my personal assistant than photographer, helping me with my train and fixing my hair constantly, even would insist I fix my makeup before taking such photos. She felt like a true friend. I received my wedding images within a month - I was shocked ! as many other friends of mine waited months for their wedding images. I was over the moon with my images and she really captured my special day from begining to end, perfectly. I was shocked to read the below reviews, there must be 2 Kimberly Macdonalds because she informed she works soley in the North Bay. I highly recommend her for your photos! Oh, I also decided to do 6 hours vs 8 hours of her service to save money as we were on a severe budget and I didn't feel like I missed anything from loosing those 2 hours. She worked with me very closely on my timeline to ensure nothing important would be missed.
