My husband and I recently got married at Kimball Hall in Roswell, GA, and I cannot recommend this venue enough.
It’s absolutely beautiful, the staff is so kind, the in house catering is DELICIOUS, and they were so accommodating for all my specific quirks that made our day truly special. McKenzie was so sweet, helpful, and kind throughout the whole planning process, and made the day of go very smoothly with my day of coordinator. We really appreciate her good help! Everyone was so kind and helpful to our vendors that were brought in, and it helped them make sure our day went smoothly. This is especially important to me, as I am in the wedding industry myself and I know having a good in house team can make or break a wedding day.
If you’re looking to get married in roswell or touring venues in the metro Atlanta area/GA in general, please add this venue to your tour list. Was well worth the value and what we paid for our day, and we truly got a great deal for what we got. Also, it’s walking distance from Canton Street in downtown roswell… absolutely perfect location for a downtown Roswell adventure and after party!

Kimball Hall could not have been a more perfect venue for our wedding reception. The staff was so attentive to our guests and us throughout the night. They were easy to work with in the planning stage, and everything photographed beautifully. We had about 175 guests and everyone fit comfortably and had room for dinner and dancing. I can not say enough wonderful things about Emily and her team. Thank you Kimball Hall! -

Outstanding Venue!
My daughter just had the wedding of her dreams at Kimball Hall. It was absolutely FLAWLESS. The venue is stunning in its charm and simple elegance. The ceremony was in the garden and the natural beauty took everyone’s breath away. The indoor - outdoor cocktail hour flowed seamlessly with guests both inside the historic beautiful indoor space and outside on the tree covered patio with twinkling lights. When it was time for the reception the guests were blown away by the wall to wall windows, delicate chandeliers, gleaming hardwoods and gorgeous table settings. Many commented it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever seen. The food was outstanding! We had the buffet and guests raved about how delicious the food was. My daughter adored her coordinator Paige, who was wonderful in her communications and day of skills. Paige was so easy to work with and extremely professional. We were surprised we could get the quality wedding we wanted at this price. It is truly an amazing value. Cannot recommend this venue highly enough!!! -

Best venue ever!!
Getting married at kimball hall was an absolute dream. From their beautiful venue, vendors, coordinator, and everything in between was simply perfect. Emily Masters was our coordinator and I cannot sing her praises enough. She was INCREDIBLE!!! Before the wedding, she was always so helpful and gave prompt replies. The day of the wedding she was always calm and made everything perfect. I genuinely cannot speak higher for this venue and my coordinator!!!!! I highly recommend to any bride looking to get married in the Atlanta area to get married at this venue!!! 10/10 experience -

This venue was absolutely stunning during our May wedding! The guests complimented the venue and the all-inclusive package made planning very easy. Emily was amazing and we couldn't have imagined such a well orchestrated wedding. Everything went exactly as planned. -

Having our wedding and reception at Kimball Hall was the best decision we could have made! Everything was perfect and we did not have one hiccup! Paige was our day of coordinator and she was so incredibly helpful. She handled every personality, helped with my very difficult bustle on my dress, was on time and knew exactly what to tell us to do. The staff was great too, some of our guests said they were dancing at the end of the night with them....I love that! The food was incredible and set perfectly. All our guests had an amazing time and I could not have asked for a better day. This is truly a wonderful venue! -

We got married mid October and this historic home was a perfect venue for us and our 100 guests. I was able to plan the wedding of my dreams with a (relatively) low budget without sacrificing anything. The food through Southern Charmed Catering included in the venue rental was incredible and our guests raved that they'd never had such good food at a wedding before. Our coordinator was fantastic and walked me through the process of choosing all of my details. I was able to design to my theme with ease using venue recommendations and a few DIYs. Our coordinator kept our big day on schedule and made sure everything and everyone was where they should be. I would highly recommend this venue!! -

Trusting others with all the wedding details is scary, but Leslie, our coordinator at Kimball Hall in Roswell, GA, gave my daughter and her husband the most perfect wedding. As the M of the Bride, I wanted to make sure "this" was good and "that" was scheduled, and Leslie assured me she had it all handled, and she did. We had the "all-inclusive" and "premium full beverage" packages. The food was delicious (pasta bar!), and you couldn't get a better staff - they were helpful, friendly, and experts at customer care. Several guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. And the happy couple got their perfect outdoor wedding. Great memories. -

Wonderful experience at Kimball Hall!
We had our wedding at Kimball Hall this past weekend and were SO happy with the experience. Highlights include:
1. Our wedding coordinator Naudia: she was so helpful, reliable, and responsive. She always had such a positive attitude, which help relieved a lot of my anxiety. Everything was incredibly organized on the day of the ceremony, and I did not have to worry about a thing.
2. The indoor and outdoor spaces: our ceremony was outdoors--initially I was worried about the heat (about 86 degrees), but the backyard where the ceremony took place is very shaded which helped a ton. The indoor space is very beautiful--the forecast had a 50% chance of rain. We knew that even if it rained, we would have a nice space with big windows to hold the ceremony!
Our cocktail hour and send off took place in the garden--the string lights, yard games, and greenery made this area a great place to hang out. It was great for some guests who weren't big dancers/needed a break from dancing.
3. The bridal/groom suite: we all got ready off site; however, these spaces were great to hang out right before the ceremony/gave a good option for bridesmaids/groomsmen to regroup.
Other notes:
1. The venue very comfortably fit our guest count of 130 people.
2. The rehearsal the day prior needed to be in the AM due to a wedding happening the Friday evening before. Just something to note if you have out of town guests coming in! -

Look no further than Kimball Hall!
We got married in May 2023 and the folks at Kimball Hall gave us a great experience from the early days of planning all the way until the end. The venue is a blank canvas, allowing you to transform it into your vision. We had a 5:30 ceremony in the backyard where the trees provided a nice amount of shade for our guests to be comfortable. If there's rain forecasted, the reception area can be converted into a ceremony space and the large panel of windows facing the backyard will still provide a beautiful backdrop. The garden was probably one of my favorite spots at the venue with lush greenery and string lights.
The seating arrangements were comfortably spaced and allowed for easy travel between tables.
Catering and alcohol was included in our package which made the planning process simple and easy. They also provided a list of preferred vendors, to which we booked our photographer (Lauren Rae Photography) and our DJ (One Night Entertainment) - whom we LOVED!
The staff was amazing and so attentive to our guests. Special shout out to our day of coordinator, McKenzie - she was a godsend! She helped to make sure that we were able to focus on ourselves, friends and family. If we had a need, she was always right there to help. I'm not sure if it's possible to request a specific coordinator but if you can, ask for McKenzie!
I do think that it's important to note that if you're considering Kimball Hall, the wedding party suites on the second floor are only accessible by stairs. Luckily this wasn't a big issue, but it did require my grandma to get her hair and makeup done downstairs instead of in the bridal suite. If you have anyone in your party that needs elevator access, you may have to adjust your plans a little. -

Kimball Hall is beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for! After meeting the owner, Julie, we decided this was definitely our wedding venue! She is the nicest person you will ever meet and makes you feel like family! Julie has selected the best preferred vendors which makes wedding planning so much easier on you! She is always available to answer questions and is so great at what she does! I knew that as long as I had Julie on my side everything would be okay! Julie and the entire Kimball Hall team are so incredible! Everything went so smoothly on our wedding day, and it was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! Julie and Kimball Hall will always hold a special place in our hearts! -

Jessica Sent on 05/02/2016My husband and I are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Kimball Hall. Our wedding was perfect in every way, and our special day was made that much more special because Julie and her staff were a part of it!
From the very beginning, Julie was immensely kind, helpful and responsive. She went out of her way to make sure the entire wedding planning process was stress-free and easy. We had a couple of meetings with Julie and Pat Holland the florist - they were both the most understanding and flexible people you could want for your wedding. I changed my mind so many times during the process. Not only did they accommodate any changes , but they really cared that the final product was exactly what I wanted. Pat is fantastic and everything she creates is beautiful. I showed her some pictures on pinterest and she was able to capture exactly what I wanted. The preferred vendors Julie has are also wonderful, and we had no trouble bringing in some outside vendors we found on our own.
The actual day of our wedding was incredible. One of the greatest strengths of Kimball Hall is how well Julie knows the venue and space. She made sure everything ran flawlessly, and all we really had to do was enjoy and soak in every second of our special day. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony, but it rained all morning. Julie said she would wait until the last possible moment to see if the weather would clear up. We ultimately decided to have the ceremony indoors, and it turned out to be the most intimate and magical ceremony. Afterwords, all of the guests raved about the indoor ceremony. This is a true testament of how well Julie runs Kimball Hall and how seriously she takes her job. Brides don't have to worry because Julie will make sure the wedding is perfect!
I cannot stress how happy we are with our decision, and hope other couples will trust me when I say if I had to do it all again, I would have my wedding there in a heartbeat. -

Lauren Sent on 10/28/2014I just want to start with saying that Julie is absolutely incredible! She is involved with your wedding from the very beginning and really works hard to meet your every want and need. She is the sweetest person and has a huge heart.
I think one of my favorite aspects with Kimball Hall is that they are all-inclusive. You pay a single set fee and you have "credits" for your photography, floral, DJ, officiant, etc. Julie gives you a list of her preferred vendors (you are required to use her florist Pat Holland and one of her four preferred caterers). If you choose not to use a preferred vendor (with the exception of the florist and caterer) that's ok, but I think you have to pay an additional $150 for bringing in someone else. Honestly, having a list of vendors was a HUGE help in wedding planning. Through Julie, we found an amazing photographer (Alison Church) who I am absolutely in love with, our baker, and our officiant. To be fair, the credits don't always fully cover the cost of the vendor. However, most vendors are easy to work with (and many offer a specific "Kimball Hall" special that fits within the credit Julie gives you)...either their deposit will be whatever the overage is, or they'll just inform Kimball Hall of whatever the grand total is and you'll pay the additional with your final bill. Julie was 100% open to me about whatever "extras" brides usually ended up paying...like an approximate cost on linen rentals, or how much brides typically spent on floral at Kimball Hall and it really helped me to create a very accurate budget. Our total at Kimball Hall actually ended up coming under what I had estimated which was excellent!
The required florist (Pat Holland) is absolutely amazing! Be warned that she is expensive, and it's easy to go over the Kimball Hall allotment. I did, but it was 100% worth it and I made sure I had the budget for it. She was easy to work with and took a few vague ideas I had and turned them in to something absolutely beautiful. -

Upon first stepping onto the Kimball Hall grounds, we knew the venue would be absolutely perfect for us. From the beautiful gardens and ceremony space to the quaint staircase and "getting ready" rooms, to the beautiful and spacious ballroom - we knew that Kimball Hall would be the best choice, most beautiful venue, and easiest experience we could ask for while planning our wedding. Julie Stephens and her staff are wonderful. She'll always greet you with a "Hi there Sugar" along with a willingness to help, to plan, to make suggestions, but to also let you have your own creativity, wants, and needs provided for throughout your special day. We utilized her wedding package, florist Pat Holland , DJ Dustin Johnson, string trio Classy Chicks, and preferred caterer Added Touch (all were AMAZING - read my other reviews!). She will work with you as much or as little as your wedding planning requires! She holds an "Open House" once a month at no cost to you, so you can view the venue in full swing - staff, tables, florist, music, beer , wine, catering food samples, invitations, cakes, photographers... it's a mini-bridal event! You REALLY get to know everyone on a personal level. We felt like Kimball Hall was an extension of our own home! The day of the wedding was also incredible. Julie and her assistant Rebecca were darling & kept us on schedule! They were by my side all day long, catering to our wedding party and families like we were their own family. Just precious, and made my day completely stress-free! The ceremony in the garden was perfectly done, and the ballroom looked impeccable, from the table settings we put together to the flowers to the linens and up-lighting. It's truly a blank-slate ballroom, and you can accomplish your wedding dreams!
We love Julie Stephens, we love Kimball Hall, and we can't say enough amazing things about our experience here! Highly, highly recommended!

We had our wedding last night and I can truly say it was the best night of my life. While there were many vendors that contributed to this, the space is so important and Kimball Hall did not disappoint. We had our ceremony outside on the beautiful grounds and had the space set up for indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. The reception was a dream in the window filled ballroom. Southern Charmed (in house catering) provided a fantastic dinner and our signature cocktails were awesome. The space was perfectly sized for our guest count of 104. Paige was our in house coordinator and she was very responsive and helpful. We will always think of Kimball Hall as a special place! -

We had toured several historic homes but loved Kimball Hall due to the unique indoor and outdoor spaces, parking availability and proximity to downtown Roswell. The staff was responsive and answered all of our questions quickly and a pleasure to work with. Planning was easy with their menu and Southern Charmed Catering served some delicious food- we didn’t eat much of it in the moment, but they did send us home with a to go container.. All of our guests raved about the food. Several weeks prior to the big day we met Andie Adkins, who was the manager on duty for the day of our event. She was a great ally and partner to our wedding coordinator Emily (from Marea Events). Andie helped make sure we had the best floor plan for our size (140) and logistics were thought out. She made specific recommendations based on the venue and brought ideas to the table. Day of event the staff went above and beyond for us! I highly recommend the wonderful Kimball Hall venue and team! -

Kimball Hall is beautiful and all-inclusive. While she had some amazing preferred vendors, we were allowed to use some of our own as long as Julie could talk to them.
Julie is the sweetest person I've met and knows how to make wedding planning a heck of a lot less stressful.
We had an absolutely amazing wedding and would recommend Kimball Hall to anyone looking. -

Kimball hall is a gorgeous venue. We chose an all inclusive package with an upgraded open bar. Be aware that most of the included menu items are casual, think fried chicken, sliders and pigs in a blanket, so you most likely will end up paying more to upgrade menu options. We also had to pay to have water glasses placed on the tables. That added $250 which wasn’t a big deal in the scheme of things, but just be aware that all inclusive doesn’t include everything. Also, read the contract and ask questions. We knew shots were not allowed (no problem for us) but they consider “on the rocks” or “straight up” to be shots. They also do not mix cocktails like martini, cosmos, or old fashions, just an alcohol and mixer. The passed hors d’oeuvres were yummy as was the salmon entree. The rest was okay. The representative on-site day of wedding was not engaged or helpful, but maybe she is still learning. I was thankful to have an excellent wedding planner (The Tatted Planner) and other vendors. Remember to budget for tips for the staff because that’s not included. Again the venue was beautiful and made for a magical evening.Kimball Hall's reply:

The all-inclusive packages at our venues are intended to provide all of the basics needed with regards to food and bar service for a fantastic event at our award-winning venues for an economical price. Some clients prefer not to include non-essential items (e.g., upgraded chargers and flatware), so we separate out those type items as extras as they are entirely optional. What is included in the base price of the packages and what is extra is all laid out in our detailed pricing packages that we send out when customers first reach out to us.
Menu items included in the base all-inclusive package include those mentioned, as well as many other popular dishes such as Risotto Mushroom Bites, Crab Rangoon, Green Beans Almandine, Mesquite Gilled Chicken Breast, and Pasta Angelina. We also offer an extensive selection of enhanced food options designed by our experienced and talented Executive Chef available as upgrades. The alcohol open bar packages start with a beer/wine/specialty cocktail package that’s included in the base price, and then clients can customize their event by adding liquor and/or upgrading the tiers of the liquor brands. Thank you for advising folks to read our materials carefully - we strongly encourage all clients to read our pricing packages and contract in detail and ask many questions!
Our liability insurance carrier does not allow the service of straight liquor at our venues for safety reasons. This includes straight liquor served both as “shots” and chilled over ice. We apologize for any confusion regarding the service of straight liquor “on the rocks”. Over our ten years in the event business, we have found that restricting the service of straight liquor in an open bar setting is a good practice for a smooth and successful event, to help ensure everyone has a fun and safe time throughout the entire evening! We hope this clears up any confusion and we are thrilled you had a wonderful day!
