Great to work with!

Kim has been wonderful to work with! She took the time to meet with us before our engagement photo shoot to discuss the types of photos we were looking for. The day of, she even went to the location early to scope out locations that would make for great photos - this was such a great time saver! We rarely do photoshoots and Kim helped us feel comfortable by suggesting poses. However, when we came to locations where we had ideas, she was very open to them. We cant wait to work with Kim again for our wedding!

Kind, flexible, and generous photographer

We worked with Kim most recently on September 14th on the final session of four mini-sessions over our son's first year. Through every step of each session, Kim has been flexible, kind, and generous. Before each session, she called to confirm our session, ensure that we knew what to expect, and to offer recommendations so that we could and look our best. We (my husband and I) learned quickly that a baby forces you to adapt and adjust your expectations for how a photo session will go, but Kim was always flexible with our son's mood. Regardless of whether he was tired, hungry, or just too distracted to engage, Kim adapted to whatever our son was feeling and ensured that she always got gorgeous family photos with a smiling baby. Most recently, we decided almost at the last minute to change locations and take photos while apple picking. Not only was Kim completely amenable to the change, we got some amazing pictures of a wonderful afternoon watching our son toddle around eating apples. This last year has been such a precious time in our life as a family, and now we have photos adorning our walls that we will treasure for years to come. We are so grateful to Kim for her skillful eye, her patience, and professionalism and highly recommend her!

Excellent experience every step of the way!

Our experience with Kim was wonderful. I was super impressed with how professionally she handled each step, from consultation to delivery. We were so thrilled with the photos from our wedding. Kim listened intently to what we envisioned and also shared suggestions based on her extensive experience. We know have pictures that we will treasure for a lifetime.

Great experience!

We decided to go with Kim for our engagement pictures andnit was such a great experience! She met us at the park we wanted to shoot at and everything went smoothly. She was very professional and made the session very fun for us. Prior to the shoot, Kim was very responsive in all the questions we had (same with after the shoot as well). Our engagement pictures came out perfectly and we would absolutely use her again!

Kim was very helpful and patient. We had to reschedule few times because of the weather. Everything worked out smoothly on the day. The quality of the photos were great and we absolutely love her work. She is very understanding and easy to talk to.

We used Kim for both our engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding photos and we cannot stop praising how amazing she was! Both Kim and her husband JC were great to work with and they captured all the key photos we wanted! People still compliment on how great our photos turned out for both sessions and how unique some of the poses and angles of the photos are. Kim does a great job of captures key moments and she does not alter the pictures only makes them black/white. Kim gives special attention to her clients and really listen to what types of photos they wanted captured. We will definitely be using them again the future for all our photography needs.

My fiancé and I chose Kim for our engagement session and we could not have been happier with our decision! From the first email correspondence we had with her to the photo shoot, and then the delivery of the photographs, we were blown away. We specifically picked Kim because we wanted a photographer with a sense of adventure and a keen eye for authentic interactions between us. What we wanted to avoid was forced, staged, stills, that had no life in them. What we loved most about working with her was how she was very easy going, open to our hike in the woods, and capturing us just goofing off and being us. We're pretty photo-awkward, so we really appreciated how patient and kind Kim was in finding ways to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She's also hilarious, so whenever we felt a little stiff, she'd just talk with us until we started laughing and loosening up. She was very authentic in how she captured our interactions and it really showed in our photos. The photos themselves were amazing! We shared them on social media and our friends and family loved how very "us" they turned out to be. Kim is one of the sweetest vendors we've worked with, and would highly recommend her to others!

One of the best choices we made for our wedding was picking Kim for our photography. After the first time we met, I felt like we had been friends for years. She listened to us tell our love story and laughed at my husband’s ridiculous jokes. Her love of her friends and family was apparent from the start and I think that is what makes her photography special. You can see the love she puts into it. Getting to know us, finding those special moments and capturing us as we are. We had some surprises for our wedding and Kim was a great confidant and made sure to really capture those moments for us. Besides her beautiful photography, Kim is a wonderful communicator and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs as a couple. Her style is romantic, intimate and timeless. We hope to have the opportunity to work with Kim again in the future.

Kim is not only an amazing photographer she is also an amazing person. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. I met Kim at a Wedding Expo in September of 2015 and loved her from the moment I met her! She has a wonderful, sweet, and kind personality. Prior to our wedding she met with my husband and I to explain the entire process to us, she also wanted to sit with us so that we could get to know her and become comfortable with her before our big day. My husband had not yet met Kim when we had our first meeting so this was especially helpful for him. He instantly felt comfortable with her and enjoyed her personality.

The photographs she captured at our Wedding are all beautiful! She captured so many of our special moments throughout the day. She has wonderful ideas and also listens to her clients to capture the most important moments of their lives. The services she provides are exceptional! She is a pleasure to work with and I assure you, you will not be disappointed!

When we selected Kim to capture our engagement and wedding photos we had no idea how amazing and effortless she made this journey and process for us. We were immediately drawn to Kim's warmth, sincerity and genuine kindness. During our initial meeting she provided helpful advice and tips that I would have never thought of and that assisted me tremendously up to the day of our wedding. Kim took the time to get to know us and our story and what a treat it was to receive her note sharing her thoughts and interpretation of our journey in her photo gallery. She truly exemplifies professionalism and it was clear that she is committed to her clients and passionate about her work.

When Kim photographed our engagement session we were nervous, we had never been photographed before but we quickly felt as if we were with a friend, she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and allowed us to be us. Kim kept in touch with us from the beginning, always providing updates and checking in throughout the entire process. When Kim notified us that our engagement photos were available, we viewed them and we were thrilled, we felt like kids on Christmas Day. Kim captured so beautifully everything we shared that day and with every photo we viewed, it took us back to that exact moment in time. Her talents exceeded our expectations, she is truly a gifted and talented artist, this was evident in her work and her passion for her art and we were so fortunate and felt privileged to have such a talented artist capture this very special time in our life. If you are looking for a great wedding photographer, look no further than Kim. Kim was the photographer for our local wedding reception in Virginia this past March, and she was fantastic throughout the entire process. Kim was responsive, helpful, incredibly knowledgeable and informative, and always so professional and friendly. She was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning process, was so flexible and always made us feel comfortable. Kim proved she has a great eye for photography too. The finished products are just beautiful; we couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Kim; you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I got married in June of 2015. I met Kim in 2014 after finding her information at a local post office. From the moment I received my first email and looked at her website I was sold! Kim met with me and my, at the time, fiancé for a no obligation consultation. During this time she told us about herself and her work, her passion, and asked us what we were looking for. She listened to us, our hopes, the description of the venue, everything. This meeting was pretty much the icing on the cake, I knew I wanted Kim to be my photographer. We booked her immediately.
Scheduling our engagement shoot, our anniversary shoot, and all details leading up to the wedding were so easy with Kim. She kept in constant communication throughout the entire process through emails and phone calls. Details are really important to Kim and she always sent me written communication after we spoke on the phone to go over what we talked about.
About a week and a half leading up to the wedding Kim and I had multiple emails and a long phone conversation to cover all the shots my husband and I wanted on our wedding day, the schedule of events, and all other details that needed to be discussed.
Our wedding day came and it was HOT. Our venue was outside the entire time without even the slightest breeze. Kim nor her husband ever faltered. We had a large bridal party, a lot of family, and some special shots and we got them all (well all the ones I could stand since it was over 100 degrees and I was in a wedding dress-I stopped caring about posed pictures!)
Wow this turned into a long review! But I want you all to know that KimPhamClark Photography is the best choice for wedding, engagement, family or anything you are wanting photographed. She is professional, caring, and shows her true passion through her work. You will NOT be disappointed when you choose her!

I absolutely LOVE how Kim C. can capture a moment and give the illusion that we are the only people on location. She has an amazing artistic eye. Seeing the photos come to life is truly magical. She makes an ordinary setting look surreal when you see the finished products. I am an absolute fan of her work. We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to take advantage of her talents.

Ms. Clark served as our official event photographer. Despite being a one-person crew, she was able to cover 12 major events and activities, as well as a series of smaller ones, over the course of three days. Her exceptional timing helped her record many of the most memorable moments. She captured raw emotions from our attendees that serve as a testament to the impact of our event. She worked very discreetly with absolute minimal disruption to the activities. The quality and turnaround time for processing the photos were very impressive and far exceeded my expectations. The sheer quality of her work will be instrumental in enticing potential attendees to come. Our attendees greatly appreciate the memories her photos stir up. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic translated into exceptional service. Working with her was a truly wonderful experience and I look forward to working with her again on future events.

Kim, is a fantastic photographer who makes sure to give you the best product possible. We were super impressed with the quality of her photos. The photos looked amazing and we were so happy by the candid shots she took, we didn't realize she was even shooting. In one shot she caught our niece in the act of "not touching" the desserts but sticking her nose in one of them. She caught things that many others missed. We would hire Kim again at any time. She went above and beyond for our wedding and she is a first class photographer.

We worked with Kim the first time to do our engagement photo shoot. The photos came out so beautiful, vibrant, and colorful, even on a dreary day. At that point, I decided to have her work with me to photograph the first seasons of our married life. She worked with me from the concept phase, and regularly communicated ideas for shots. She would suggest great angles and backdrops that worked best for SO and I. Throughout all the photos, she captured our personalities, kept us energized and laughing, and we shone through in the pictures. She even captured us with our fur babies! (that was very important to me!) She is a pleasure to work with, as our photography styles matched well. True professional through and through.

I would definitely recommend Kim to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer! From our first phone conversation through finalizing the wedding pictures she was fun and easy to work with. She gave us great advice but was never pushy, was flexible throughout, and really made my husband and I (who are definitely both a bit camera shy) truly feel comfortable (and special) through both our engagement session and the big day. And most importantly, the final wedding pictures are absolutely gorgeous!

I found Kim to be a calming force during a hurricane. Wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful but Kim was flexible, approachable and fun. She absolutely listened to my concerns, endless emails and questions but at no point did I ever feel like I ever put her out. She got amazing pictures during our wedding and wasn't intrusive--one guest told us, "Your photographer was like Spider Man--she jumped in, click, click, click, got the shot, then disappeared!"

One of my concerns was feeling like too much time might be taken up with 'formal' pictures after our ceremony because I just wanted to be with my friends and family. She had scouted out the area ahead of time and found some great places for pictures that I didn't even know about--and I live in the area, she doesn't! Her style was photojournalistic, which is just what we wanted. She was never overbearing.

After the ceremony she kept us apprised of what was going on in the process. When there was a minor hiccup with our album she was forthright and made certain we were satisfied. We are actually disappointed that we don't have to keep communicating with her now.

Like anything else, you can find individuals on the very low end of the spectrum and very high. Is Kim the least expensive? No, but you will absolutely NOT be disappointed. A month after our wedding we attended a friend's wedding and saw the work of their photographer and all we could do is be amazed at how lucky we were. Every time we look at our pictures and album we smile all over and talk about what a great day it was.
