My husband and I knew immediately when we visited that Kiernan Farms is a special place. We worked with Ryan Kiernan and his family for a few years in lead up to our wedding day this fall. Ryan was incredibly responsive which was much appreciated as we know his hands are full with managing the farm, spending time with his family and teaching full time. Ryan worked hard to maintain a beautiful property, provided a list of great local vendors and his laid back personality always left us feeling calm in lead up to our big day.
The property speaks for itself and has breathtaking views. We utilized every bit of the property for varying elements of our wedding. The farmhouse was charming and we loved the ability to stay on-site. We also utilized the farmhouse as a bridal suite and our photographer commented how fun it was to take photos throughout the house. The barn was newly renovated by the date of our wedding, which we utilized for our rehearsal dinner and we served the amazing wine from their Bruynswick Winery. Lastly, we were blessed with gorgeous weather for our fall wedding. We hosted the ceremony in the field, utilized the barn again for cocktail hour, and had a tented reception. The fire pit was a perfect touch for our guests that didn’t feel like dancing and we also utilized for s’mores. Our guests simply raved about the beautiful surroundings, especially as many were not aware of the beauty throughout the Hudson Valley.
The Kiernans were an incredible family to work with and we will certainly be going back to enjoy new memories at the winery for many years to come. We couldn’t recommend Kiernan Farms enough! They will work hard to make your wedding dreams come true. -

09.28.19 Wedding
We got married at Kiernan Farm on 9.28.19 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From before we even signed the contract until we had to pack up after the wedding was over, Ryan & Johanna were wonderful to work with. They were always quick to respond to emails and had answers to all of our questions. For a completely DIY venue it was very helpful to have their insight on how to setup and where to take certain photos. They also had a lot of items on hand for us to use for decor + tables and chairs so we didn’t have to rent them.
We stayed in their onsite farmhouse with our bridal party and were able to get ready there which made for a stress free wedding morning. Our first look took place in the vineyard and the photos are gorgeous! Honestly the entire farm is simply breathtaking with an incredible view of the Shawngunk ridge, and many of our guests came up to us to tell us it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had attended. Our party was too large to fit inside the barn so we used that as our cocktail hour lounge set up with their vintage furniture and we rented a tent for the reception.
The only difficulty we experienced was garbage removal since our caterer did not take that with them and there was nowhere onsite to drop off trash. Aside from that we didn’t have any issues and truly had the most wonderful wedding! I’m so glad we chose to get married here and thankful for the Kiernan’s who helped us all throughout the planning process! -

Omg the Kiernan’s were more than accommodating! They went well beyond being so helpful throughout the year while I planned my wedding! Always there to answer any questions, open visitation to fully full fill my vision for my planning.. They lent theyre hands throughout my day when things didn't go as planned with another vendor and fully stepped up to make sure things went smoothly when it was not theyre job, they volunteered themselves & theyre time to relieve any stress!! Amazing family, Amazing venue, Out of this world gorgeous views, and most convenient! I had my ceremony facing theyre Gorgeous mountains with beautiful fall colors, beautiful trees, cattle in views, Then my cocktail hr was inside theyre gorgeous barn where I had live music perform on theyre huge stage! Followed by the reception under the tent rentals. They also have a super beautiful large farmhouse full of charm where we stayed to get ready in and had guests stay overnight! Highly recommend a million times!!! Super Affordable! The best deal I was given compared to every single venue I researched in the area! You wont be disappointed.. -
Carley Sent on 06/13/2018Our wedding on Kiernan Farm was amazing. The landscape and the barn offer amazing backdrops for photos. There is also a really cool old silo on site that our photographer loved for a photo shoot. Our country rustic theme fit perfectly with the farm and the barn was so much fun to decorate with mason jars and sunflowers. We had a band play in the barn and it sounded great, there was plenty of room for a dance floor. With this site the rental fee is minimal but you will have to consider your extra expenses including tent, chair, table, rentals, portable toilet rentals(we splurged on the really nice trailer model), catering, decorations, alcohol (we bought our own and hired a bartender), music, photographer, etc. I would say altogether $15-20,000.

Carla Sent on 01/18/2018We envisioned an outdoor wedding ceremony that would incorporate rustic elements and bright flowers set against our favorite view of the Hudson Valley's renowned Shawangunk Ridge.
Kiernan Farm offers a gorgeous setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony with its picturesque view of the Gunks and country charm. In addition to the view, Kiernan Farm included use of their barn which we used for a cocktail hour and planned to use for the ceremony as a contingency for weather. Depending on number of guests, it could also be used for a reception. The Kiernans were friendly, responsive, and gave a lot of helpful advice as we planned our wedding celebration.
We were blessed with a beautiful day in May that truly exceeded our wildest dreams. We are so very thankful that we had the opportunity to find Kiernan Farm, and we happily recommend them as a venue to our family, to our friends, and to you.

Ryan is fantastic and always available with any questions, or concerns we had. John Sent on 11/29/2017Beautiful location!! My wife and I got married at Kiernan Farm in September of 2016. The view of the Shawangunk mountains behind the wedding was amazing. There are many great spots for photo opportunities including their historic old barn and vineyard that are on the property. Our guests enjoyed having the cows in view during the wedding (though the farmer told us they rotate through the fields so they won't always be there). The hosts were accommodating and easy to work with. They also had about 100 chairs and tables to rent which was really convenient. We had a great time and highly recommend this venue if your looking for a farm wedding!
