Friendly and Helpful

My husband and I found Kevin Tripp through online resources. We were thrilled with the experience and his willingness to travel to officiant our wedding that changed locations. He sent a wonderful remembrance package that same week and we get to thank him for being apart of our special day. Would definitely recommend him.

Highly recommend Kevin Tripp!

We highly recommend Kevin Tripp as a wedding officiant. He was our wedding officiant for our 2020 wedding in Sonoma County.
Before the wedding, we met with Kevin to discuss our ceremony. Kevin is gracious, kind-hearted, and humble. Professionally, he is a great balance of both being experienced and completely open to our ideas. Leading up to the wedding, Kevin provided us with detailed potential ceremony scripts we could pick and choose from. He was completely supportive of us crafting our own vows as well. Kevin provided us with information on how to apply for our marriage license and answered other questions we had. On our wedding day, Kevin was jovial, supportive, and calm. He performed the ceremony exactly as we wanted it! After the wedding, Kevin promptly provided us with a beautiful marriage certificate, the official signed certificate, and a transcript of our ceremony. We are very thankful that we decided to have Kevin officiate our wedding.

The perfect ceremony!

From the moment we met Kevin, we could feel his warmth and grace and we knew right away he was the right fit for us. His guidance throughout the process was incredibly valuable. He sent us samples if scripts and helped create a unique and meaningful ceremony that perfectly represented us. We have the most beautiful memories of our ceremony and we just can't thank him enough for being a part of the most special day of our lives.

From the moment I found Kevin through Googling "officiants", I was delighted. He called right away, discussed what I wanted for the ceremony and worked with me during the 2 weeks until the wedding. His delivery of the customized ceremony was solemn as I wished, and his happiness and good nature showed through from start to finish.

Having Kevin officiate our ceremony was amazing! We were planning our wedding from out of town, and he made himself available by phone to assist us in planning whenever we requested to. He helped us draft our ceremony by providing lots of helpful resources, and then edited it for us. He was a great addition to our special day, and was incredibly reliable. He filed our marriage license and walked us through obtaining our copies internationally. We highly recommend going with Kevin!

Kevin was everything that we could have asked for in an officiant! He was professional, courteous, respectful, flexible, and kept my now husband and I as the primary focus. We were not just "another couple getting married" we were Shawn and Candace. He wanted to know how we met, what our story is, our adventures together, and where we intend to go in life. Not only was he wonderful with us, but also with our friends and family at the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. He was also the most affordable officiant in the region. I would highly recommend Kevin for your wedding too!

We had such a wonderful experience with Kevin. From planning the ceremony, bouncing ideas off of each other to the rehearsal, everything went so smooth. The ceremony was lovely, and we were so happy at how everything went.

Kevin provides both the professionalism and warmth that every about-to-be-married couple needs. As two men who have been together fifteen years, it was difficult for us to decide what our ceremony should look like. We were sure we wanted to keep it simple but were lost when it came to the details. Furthermore, one of the grooms is a practicing Catholic and the other is an atheist. What to do? With his years of experience Kevin knew what to do. From the start he calmly and reassuringly helped us. Kevin is quite computer-savvy and this helped in organizing what would become our ceremony. He provided us with templates from which we could then customize our ceremony and make it our own. He guided us, provided suggestions and all the while showing incredible patience.

On our wedding day Kevin was perfection. Even though ours was a simple ceremony there were still the usual relatives and friends to manage. Kevin was kind to everyone and took time to direct in a gentle way. In fact, he did it so seamlessly that it was only after the wedding that I realized that there was any directing going on at all. Kevin brought such a dignity to the ceremony that you truly felt a transformation by the time the vows were said. All this is in his clear resonant voice that one usually only hears at weddings in the movies!

After the wedding Kevin provided a written copy of the ceremony as well as a lovely marriage certificate that we will treasure always. He also handled all the legal paperwork and filings expertly. In sum, it's hard for us to imagine our ceremony without Kevin and we're grateful we don't have to. After all, you only get one chance to get it right.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with Kevin throughout our wedding planning process. After first talking to him on the phone, we set up a time to meet in person. Kevin was really flexible and was able to meet us near our apartment in San Francisco. Over coffee, we felt really comfortable with Kevin and booked him that evening.

Over the next few months, Kevin kept in touch with us via email and recommended several different ceremonies, readings, and add-on ceremonies that we could choose from / be inspired by for our own wedding. He was really good at responding to emails (even though I was terrible at it) and would always get back to us within a day or two. After several iterations, we were able to create a custom ceremony that resonated with both me and my husband.

As the last few weeks led up, Kevin let us know he was unable to make our rehearsal due to a family conflict. Things spring up, and we completely understood. Kevin was very apologetic and met with us in person the weekend before our wedding to go through the entire ceremony. He took the time to make sure we knew how the ceremony would flow and offered us several helpful tips. He even drove to our wedding venue later that day to scope out the site so he knew how to set up.

On the day of, we had requested that he wear a black suit and black tie. Kevin officiated our wedding beautifully and we were beyond thrilled with it. He even gave us a copy of our vows and printed marriage ceremony as a keepsake. The Monday after the wedding, Kevin dropped off our wedding license to the city and by the time we got back from our honeymoon we were able to get our finalized marriage certificate.

I would highly recommend Kevin to officiate your wedding. He's a great guy and overall, made the ceremony "planning process" so easy, calm, and straight forward. With all the other wedding stuff to figure out, it was wonderful knowing Kevin had our ceremony 100% under control.

All it took was one meeting for us to decide to have Kevin Tripp marry us. Kevin was very personable and easy to talk to. He provided us with great information and guidance throughout the entire process. Even though we didn't know him personally, he made us feel that our values mattered to him. We received many compliments from our guests on how well the ceremony went. Kevin was patient and supportive. He was very well prepared for the big day. My partner and I were looking for someone to officiate our wedding ceremony and based on the reviews and talking to him, we chose Kevin. We are a same sex couple that live in Texas that wanted to get married in the wine country. We communicated back and forth online and shared what we wanted the ceremony to be like and Kevin added a great touch by suggesting that we use the wine ceremony as a guideline. From the moment that he walked in the door to the moment he left, he made us both feel comfortable and at ease. To say that he has a very calming effect would be an understatement. He is extremely professional and goes out of his way to may you feel at ease and special.

Kevin was a total pro. We were so pleased with his service. He was very accommodating. He respected our ideas and at the same time incorporated his array of ceremony template/booklet ideas. Kevin was a wonderful officiant at our wedding in Sonoma in September. We really appreciated his flexibility, attention to detail and the fact that he took the time to meet with us twice before our big day to get to know us and walk through the ceremony at the site. Though my wife and I had only met him for the first time, we felt that he was someone we'd known for years, and we felt that his genuine interest in our lives shone through in the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding. Kevin was profession and kind, and thoroughly guided us through the entire process and helped us personalize our ceremony to reflect who we are. He was absolutely the best and a pleasure to work with! Throughout the ceremony planning process, Kevin was available via email, phone and text. Kevin provided great customer service for our wedding in February. Kevin Tripp was wonderful to work with. From the beginning during the awkward first meeting where we had approximately one month before we said I do and had no clue as to what we wanted as far as wedding vows. Kevin gave us a comprehensive set of files where we could pick from the very traditional to more contemporary. My fiancee who was very specific about what he wanted (while including what I wanted of course), wrote a script for Kevin. I thought that he would garnish it and add something more which he did not. He stuck to the script and with his deep voice that carried out to our guests against the a slight breeze (without a microphone), gave our ceremony a sense of perpetuity and endurance. It was wonderful! I cried, my fiancee could not stop grinning. You always reflect on an event and wonder what you could have done differently, but with Kevin he is one of the vendors I would hire again without a second thought. He was perfect!

When my wife and I first started looking for someone to officiate our wedding, we weren't really sure where to begin. We found Kevin online, and after reading all of his glowing reviews, we decided to get in touch. We knew almost instantly that he was the right choice for us. Kevin helped form our thoughts and ideas into the perfect ceremony by thoughtfully combining aspects of both of our heritages. In the months leading up to our wedding, Kevin was always very quick to respond to our emails, and his friendliness always made us feel at ease.

During the actual ceremony, my wife and I were a little nervous, but throughout, Kevin whispered small cues to us, reminding us what was going to happen next. Small details like that really helped keep us calm.

After the ceremony, we heard nothing but good things. Everyone wanted to know who Kevin was and where we found him!

From the first phone call I knew that we had the perfect Officiant for our wedding. Kevin is kind, genuine and he brings a sense of calmness in helping plan the ceremony. He sent over wonderful ceremony options along with the willingness to accommodate any special requests or needs. The words, the reading, and the vows were beyond beautiful and I couldn't have chosen them more perfectly! The day of the wedding, Kevin was cheery, calm and led the ceremony beautifully. I was VERY happy my husband and I hired Kevin Tripp as our Officiant for our wedding. We actually met for the first time at our Rehearsal and we had invited him to join us for the Rehearsal Dinner afterwards. It was such a pleasure getting to know him the day before and spend time with him on our wedding. It felt like he was "part of the family" and yet very professional. We gave him our vows at the last minute but he made everything so easy for us, wrote them down for us to read and everything went smoothly. He took care of our marriage license and made the entire process so easy for us and "stress-free". The opening ceremony was so beautiful. His speech about love and what marriage really means was exactly how we both felt about our commitment to one another. It was difficult to hold back the tears! It was a beautiful ceremony and our wedding was PERFECT in every way. I'm so happy we hired him.

My wife and I were so happy to have found Kevin to officiate our wedding. We emailed Kevin on a Sunday night and he wrote us back within a few minutes. We scheduled a time to meet Kevin in San Rafael and were very comfortable with him and knew he was the right person to officiate our wedding. We explained to Kevin the vision for our ceremony and how we wanted to balance religion while making us the focus of the ceremony. Kevin said no problem and that he had received that request before which put us at ease. Kevin provided us with several resources to help with planning out the timeline of the ceremony as well as a suggested reading which we incorporated into the ceremony. All of which we found very useful.

Kevin attended our rehearsal dinner and did a great job of wrangling all of our friends/family. One of the nicest parts of the whole rehearsal dinner/evening was getting to sit down with Kevin for a few minutes and talk about the ceremony. It was pretty much the only time all weekend we weren’t running around.

At the actual wedding, Kevin showed up early (as promised) and did a wonderful job presiding over the ceremony. His tone was even and welcoming and made sure that we were the focus. Kevin had our witnesses sign the marriage license and submitted it to the county for us as well. Kevin was a wonderful part of our wedding and I highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a wedding officiant.

Kevin Tripp is a great wedding officiant. He did such a wonderful job during the ceremony at our early August wedding. He is extremely well spoken and helped to keep my husband calm before the ceremony started. He was also a great resource throughout the entire process and always on top of the ceremony. He has a wide array of ceremony language to choose from and helps the couple customize as needed.

Kevin was also a great lead during the rehearsal. He made sure that everyone knew what to do and when to do it. I've been to numerous rehearsal that you leaving feeling like you have no idea what to do the next day, this was completely the opposite at our rehearsal.

My husband and I recently got married in Sonoma in August 2015. Kevin Tripp was very helpful with the process and made the ceremony very simple and easy. We moved to Seattle a few months before the wedding so we didn't have a chance to meet him in person until the day of the rehearsal. We did however speak to him on the phone and he was very prompt and thorough with his email communication, so it definitely took some of the stress out of planning a long distance wedding. We would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding.

My husband and I hired Kevin the day we met him! We knew after sitting down and talking that he had the experience, demeanor and advice we were looking for. We had our private ceremony in Sonoma, CA on a private estate winery. We kept it small and had just several family members with Kevin as our wedding officiant. He was so helpful every step of the way, from start to finish! Not only is he thoughtful but he genuinely ensures that a wedding is enjoyed and is meaningful. He let us build our very own custom ceremony for our family and he made things simple and stress free by helping us through the paperwork as well. Working with him was a dream! My husband and I are from Massachusetts and decided to get married in California. By a google search we were blessed to have found Reverend Kevin Tripp. After an email, his prompt response was then followed by a phone call where Kevin and my husband John and I talked extensively about location options, our faith and what was important to John and I through our marriage ceremony. Kevin emailed several different ceremony options for guidance including appropriate scriptures. We were more than happy with his wisdom and professionalism. The day of our wedding, Kevin was punctual as he met us at our hotel where we would have our ceremony in the courtyard. Extremely accommodating and patient, he held my IPad so my family back in Massachusetts could witness me in my wedding gown via face time. John and I are more than satisfied and overjoyed that we were able to find Reverend Tripp to bless our Marriage! What a wonderful man! Thank you Kevin!

Kevin was the perfect addition to our ceremony. At our very first meeting with him we knew that he would be great. He helped us to write our ceremony and gave us feedback as needed. Rev. Kevin Tripp was so easy to work with. Right from the beginning of the process his concern was to accommodate our wishes. We pretty much knew what we wanted but still asked Fr. Kevin for advice and his opinion on some matters. He gave us suggestions, some we accepted and some we didn't think would be right for us so we said no to them. Fr. Kevin always agreed to accommodate our wishes. We feel everyone ought to be fortunate enough to have someone like Fr. Kevin to work with when planning their wedding ceremony.

We can’t say enough great things about Kevin Tripp. We hired Kevin to officiate our wedding this May at a winery in Healdsburg. From the earliest interactions to the day of the ceremony, Kevin exuded a quiet confidence and passion for what he does.

We were pleasantly surprised in being able to meet with her several times before the wedding to help us prepare for the big day. We needed a little extra help since we were planning a destination wedding from the East coast. He was always professional and his attention to detail was perfect. One example was the way he explained and helped us prepare to get the marriage license. The Sonoma county office is extremely particular about filling out the marriage application and he helped us quickly resolve an issue with the office. We established a great dialogue with Kevin throughout the process and thru the rehearsal and wedding.

He also tailored the ceremony for us from the vows, prayers, attire and ceremony. All of our questions were promptly answered and his experience provided us with the calmness we needed. There is comfort and ease about Kevin that only comes from someone who cares. Kevin took the time to help make our experience as special as it should be. We thank you Kevin for what you do and for marrying us. We can't imagine anyone else that could have been better for our wedding.

We are very happy that we chose Kevin to be the officiant for our wedding ceremony in San Francisco. He was very professional and was very helpful in answering all the questions that came up throughout the months leading up to our wedding. He gave us all of the information we needed to apply for our marriage license, and he did all the follow up work to file our license after the ceremony had taken place. During the ceremony, he spoke clearly and performed the ceremony very well. We chose to write our own vows and we shared them with Kevin prior to the ceremony, and he had the foresight to provide us with laminated index cards of our written vows during the ceremony so that we didn't have to worry about forgetting them! I interviewed a couple of other local SF officiants before meeting with Kevin, I would highly recommend him over any others.

Paul Howell of Marriage with Meaning was an amazing Wedding Officiant. My Husband and I were married in February 2014. Paul played a big role in giving us the Wedding of our dreams. My husband and I both have extremely busy schedules. Paul was so easy to reach, so easy to talk with and plan with. My husband and I first found Kevin on Craigslist and decided to contact him after reading a few reviews to see if he might be available for our ceremony. He confirmed that he was available and when we met with him, we were happy to find out he was from Boston and had gone to Harvard's Divinity School (I'm also from Boston and had gone to Harvard as an undergrad.) We liked his calm personality (a good contrast to the anxiousness that was building for us from the stress of wedding planning) and trusted that he would help us with all of the key details on finalizing our wedding license. Though there were some bumps on our wedding day due to unanticipated delays, Kevin took care of everything when our ceremony started. He was able to provide us with some great resources and ideas/options for creating our vows and even surprised us with nice comments of his own about my husband and I which our friends and family enjoyed. We feel very fortunate to have been able to work with Kevin!

Kevin was a very warm officient. When we met with him, we liked him immediately and felt happy that we chose him. The ceremony we picked was very lovely and couldn't have expressed our feelings any better. We would reccommend him highly. Kevin was a great addition to our wedding. He supplied us with lots of options and literature since we were unsure of what we wanted the ceremony to be like. Once I received all of the options it became clear to us that we were in the right hands. Kevin was a great Wedding Officiant at our wedding. He made the ceremony very easy and stress free. Kevin is definitely a seasoned Officiant and knows how weddings work. Any time we needed questions answered prior to the wedding he was quick to respond and help us out! We definitely needed guidance on how, where and when to obtain the marriage license and he was a great help with all of the legality of getting married!
