Kevin and Adam were absolutely amazing! So easy to work with and communicative throughout the entire process. Kevin even helped me choose what song to move forward with when I was between a few. The music was beautiful and the highlight of our ceremony and cocktail hour. We would 100% recommend to any other couple looking for live music for their event!

Beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour music!
We booked Cellobration for our wedding at Tiffin Farm in May 2026 and would highly recommend it for other couples!! Kevin was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. He was very flexible on our music requests and was able to play every song we requested! The music was absolutely beautiful and really added a nice ambiance to our event. Guests kept telling us how fun it was that we had live music for the cocktail hour too! Definitely recommend booking Kevin!

A Quiet Professional Coming In Clutch
We reached out to Kevin on a Monday for our elopement ceremony three days later. As we rushed to make sure we could pull off the ceremony at the last minute, Kevin was so kind, responsive, and professional with us. We had a song that was not in his existing repertoire (Ultralife by Oh Wonder), and Kevin was able to learn it on short notice to play during the bridal processional. We left the recessional song choice up to him and he did not disappoint! Kevin really added that special touch to our experience and it is one of those memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Absolutely wonderful to work with!

Wonderful Duo for our Wedding
Kevin and Adam did an amazing job performing for our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception. Not only did they play all of the songs we requested from their catalog, but they also played at least two other songs that we requested that weren't in their catalog--and they played them beautiful. Their music contributed to the specialness of the day, and re-listening to it for years to come on video will be a cherished memory of ours! Highly recommend!

Wedding Cellobration
We hired Kevin and Adam's Cellobration package for our wedding at Dover Hall in Richmond, VA and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Kevin was extremely easy to work with from beginning to end, which we greatly appreciated given all of the stresses of planning a wedding. As for their performance, they did absolutely fantastic. They played for our ceremony and for a portion of our cocktail hour and we had many guests comment on how much they enjoyed their music. If you are in the Richmond area, I would highly recommend contacting them!

Amazing addition to our wedding
We had a great experience working with Kevin for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music (Cellobration). Kevin was responsive, professional, and easy to work with from first outreach all the way through the wedding day. We gave him a list of a few songs for our ceremony and left the rest up to him. On our wedding day, Kevin and Alicia absolutely knocked it out of the park. They are very talented musicians and the transition between ceremony and cocktail hour was seamless. The amp sound quality was also excellent. We received so many compliments from guests! I would highly recommend Kevin for your live music needs!

Great music and experience!
Kevin and Alicia (cello) were very pleasant to work with. They showed up on time, played the music we wanted during the ceremony, and then played from their catalog during cocktail hour (I said they could play whatever they wanted!). They played covers of more modern music but I am sure they would also play classical, etc. if asked. Kevin was professional, showed up to the rehearsal to ensure he knew where to set up, and responded to email quickly. I would highly recommend!

Best Vendor Experience!!
Kevin was by far the best choice for our wedding music. I had two friends sing during our ceremony, and Kevin sent over recordings of him playing the songs for my friends to practice prior to the wedding, and he sent them within an hour of me asking for the recording! Kevin is incredibly responsive, professional, can play any song, and is very flexible with any last-minute song changes. He asks thoughtful questions and takes great care to make sure you have the best day. I cannot recommend him enough!!!

Amazing Wedding Experience
Kevin and Carolyn made the planning process easy- and performed incredible music at our ceremony! Kevin was easy to work with, making time for our short planning period, has a wide variety of options, and accommodated everything we asked for. Carolyn’s accompaniment was a perfect romantic addition. On the day of the wedding, Kevin and Carolyn were professional, setting up, preparing, and packing up without needing any direction from the wedding party. Delightful Experience
Kevin did such a great job working with us to prepare for our ceremony. We knew we wanted piano music for our ceremony at University Chapel on the campus of Washington & Lee, and Kevin delivered in such an amazing way. He allowed us to add some customization to the ceremony and play some modern songs like Peaches and Intentions by Justin Bieber. Both were beautiful on the piano, and our guests really loved these renditions. Our ceremony was lovely in so many ways, and Kevin's music elevated the whole experience.

Beautiful music for my daughter’s wedding!
Kevin was wonderful! He calmly helped us with suggestions and was able to play anything we wanted. When we asked ( really close to wedding day!) about the possibility of adding a cellist he had a ready answer- a cello professor from UVA. The combination was absolutely brilliant! More than we could have EVER dreamed of! 100% recommend!!!
Kevin White Music performed for our July wedding at First United Methodist Church in Charlottesville, VA. The music included the piano, organ, and Cello thanks to Kevin and Adam offering "Cellobration"! I cannot emphasize enough how magical the music made our ceremony from start to finish and how in AWE all of our guests were at the beauty of Kevin and Adam's artistic gifts on display.
I sent Kevin some pretty random requests for music (including songs from the Royal Wedding, ha!) and he never blinked - I truly doubt that there is anything he cannot play. Our wedding ranged from traditional hymns, to songs from royal weddings, all the way to Taylor Swift! Cellobration turned my favorite Taylor Swift songs (from various eras!) into beautiful instrumental tunes for our guests as they entered the church. Kevin is a TRUE professional who is easy to work with, quick to respond, and both skilled and confident in his craft. Do not hesitate to book Kevin White Music - you won't regret it and your guests will never forget the music they will witness on your special day!

Daughter's June, 2024 wedding
Kevin & Sydney performed at our daughter's wedding for both the ceremony and afterwards. Kevin was great. When we had to deal with planning everything else for our wedding, Kevin just needed a 15 minute call to get the basic details of the event. He setup his own tour of the space, independently worked with the event coordinator, and just asked for a few guidelines of what to play. I knew that on the day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about him at all.

Outstanding Live Wedding Music - Ceremony & Cocktail Hour
I found Kevin through a fellow musician in the area, and I would have been sorry if I hadn't! As someone who plays the piano, having live music for our ceremony & cocktail hour was extremely important to me. Cellobration (Kevin & Laura) was the perfect choice for us! Not only are they fabulous musicians with an appreciative repertoire to choose from, but they also accommodated additional song requests with ease. Kevin is very organized and took the time to make sure he understood our vision for the ceremony while offering suggestions when we needed them. He is extremely prepared and has his own musical equipment to play either indoors or outdoors. What meant the most to me is that Kevin allowed me to use his piano to play a selection during the ceremony, which is a unique memory that my husband & I will treasure when we think back on our special day. If you are looking for live music for your wedding, I truly cannot recommend Kevin enough!

Incredible Wedding Music
We hired Kevin for out wedding at the end of September and could not be happier with the decision. We elected for the Cellobration and had piano and cello playing before our ceremony, our procession, and our cocktail hour. The music set the perfect tone for a Bridgerton meets Game of Thrones feeling. Kevin was able to learn our processional song to accompany our friend singing. It was absolutely perfect. Talented, Accommodating, & A Pleasure to Work With!
We hired Kevin for our July wedding in Charlottesville after a referral from our contact at First United Methodist Church and we are SO glad that we did. His portfolio is extensive and diverse and there was not a single piece of music we wanted played during our ceremony that he couldn't do beautifully. He was even willing to jump from the organ to the grand piano and back to the organ during our ceremony to fully and beautifully execute our musical vision for the day. And the best treat was his handbells offering to chime the hour in such a classic and traditional way. It was a joy to work with Kevin for our wedding music and his talent really highlighted the beauty of a marriage ceremony. We booked Kevin and Alicia to play at our wedding, which included a custom piece for the processional. Throughout the process, Kevin responded quickly and was was very helpful and clear when answering our various questions. He even provided a .mp3 example for what the processional would sound like months before the wedding, to make sure it's everything we dreamed of. Kevin was very easy to work with and the music was lovely for my daughter’s wedding and cocktail hour. My daughter wanted some different songs and Kevin was very accommodating. I highly recommend this duo for an event.

Wonderful Virginia wedding piano and cello musicians
Kevin and Cellobration were absolutely wonderful to work with and were a key part of our beautiful wedding day in Charlottesville. We requested a version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for the song to walk down the aisle to, and Kevin was very helpful and accommodating in creating an arrangement that worked perfectly for us. We also greatly appreciated Cellobration's flexibility in playing in colder temperatures, and found a solution where they played inside while the music was projected outside. I highly recommend Kevin and Cellobration for your wedding or event music, they did an outstanding job!

Kevin White was phenomenal! We cannot recommend Cellobration enough! My husband and I originally had a June 2020 date, but because of COVID, we postponed not just once, but twice. Amazing Ceremony Music!
Kevin White and "Cellobration" was absolutely amazing! My wife decided early on in the planning process that she had very specific processional and recessional music. Kevin and his cellist were exactly what we needed! The music was absolutely beautiful and added a layer of elegance to the ceremony that would not have been remotely achievable without his duet. My husband researched music options for a small wedding reception at our home. We decided on Kevin and are so happy we did. He came to our home to see the venue and set up options.
The music was perfect for our event- cocktail hour and during seated dinner- nice variety , not too loud and added a wonderful ambience. We also used his sound system for dancing with the bride and grooms play list for about an hour.
Kevin and his two musicians were easy to work with and always professional. We would use again for sure for a party or another wedding.

Kevin was recommended to me by a family member and I am so happy he and Cellobration were available to play for our wedding date! First, he was the most responsive vendor I interacted with. Kevin would get back to me within the day, and in most cases, within a few hours. He was a true professional and visited our sites ahead of time to make sure the pianos were in tune. In terms of music, everything sounded beautiful and he played the songs I requested with ease. His experience is unmatched and there was no guesswork the day of since he arrived early to set up. We hired Kevin White merely days before our wedding, when our original musicians backed out. He was prompt in email, followed up with a phone call, and very transparent and fair through the process. He is so professional and goes above and beyond to craft the perfect musical program, and went so far as to learn a new song and coordinate w/the local Catholic church to learn hymns which were special for us. Kevin let us know the exact electrical requirements, conducted a reconnaissance of the property, presented us recommendations, and also was very forthcoming in helping through our rain plan. It is our absolute pleasure to provide this review for Kevin White. We secured Kevin’s services to enhance the atmosphere when welcoming guest at the cocktail hour just prior to our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception. Little did we know at the time we hired Kevin that COVID chaos would soon ensue. Throughout our change in venue due to COVID shut downs, Kevin remained a calm constant in an ever evolving set of circumstances.
Kevin visited our original venue to ensure he was familiar with the layout and grand piano. At no additional charge or prompting, he visited the new venue to do the same. Upon his visit he found the grand piano was not properly tuned and took action to work with the venue to get it ready. Without us having to follow up (and had we not been there setting up we would have never known), Kevin returned again to ensure the tuning had been completed as expected. He showed up
early and was dressed appropriately. Throughout the lead up to and the actual event, Kevin continued his polite professionalism always ensuring our focus was on our daughter and the wedding.
We cannot speak highly enough about his amazing relationship with the ebony and ivory on which he entertained us during cocktails. His work ethic and work product was outstanding from the moment we reached out to him through his time with us that evening.
Without reservation, we endorse Kevin White and highly recommend him knowing from personal experience that he is a gentleman, a professional, and an amazing musical talent.

Wonderful vendor to work with, 100% recommend!
Kevin was such a pleasure to work with. I booked him (on piano and his colleague on cello) with very little notice. He was calm, organized, very flexible and easy to get ahold of, the opposite of the type of bride-to-be that I was!
I wasn’t sure what music to choose for the ceremony since I loved all the traditional songs, and was being very indecisive. But Kevin guided me and took the lead, I let him pick and loved his choices, he truly knows his stuff! If you are more decisive, Kevin will be sure to ask you first, and is willing to work with you on traditional or more contemporary songs.
We also had a New Orleans style second line parade, which I mentioned to Kevin. After that, Kevin coordinated everything with additional brass band members for the parade and even put away his piano fingers and served as the drum lead. Multi talented musician :)
We have heard from multiple guests how wonderful the music was, during the pre-ceremony, ceremony and parade. We have no doubt that he orchestrated the ambience that we wanted, relaxed and intimate, even though we had 200 guests!
Thank you Kevin for making our ceremony and second line parade so amazing! We would recommend working with Kevin any day!

Kevin was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive to my emails and even collaborated with one of my friends who is a professional singer to have beautiful singing and playing at my ceremony.

Kevin played Cellobration at our wedding at Trump Winery! He was very professional and responsive during the planning stages. On our wedding day, he played Cellobration and it was absolutely amazing! The music sounded wonderful and it set such a great feel for our guests as they entered the ceremony and throughout cocktail hour. I highly recommend Kevin!

Kevin was great to work with. As the day-of coordinator for a wedding planned in just two short weeks, Kevin was easy to work with and flexible as the wedding location had to change last minute due to bad weather. The bride and I are thankful he was available and would hire him again in the future. **I was not the one who hired him, therefore I can not give an accurate answer on the amount spent on his services.

Kevin came prior to the event to do a walk thru to ensure to be ready the day of.
We initially just contracted Kevin but he suggested adding saxophone and drums for our event so we did and were glad we did. We got a lot of compliments on the music that night. We will use them again.

Kevin and Laura make beautiful music - the only downside is the bride doesn’t get to hear enough of it! Kevin was easy to work with, and he was very responsive to all my countless questions. He is willing to offer suggestions when needed but happy to accommodate any requests. He offered to learn some new songs for us when we expressed interest. I know our guests enjoyed listening to Cellobration during cocktail hour, and also during the wedding ceremony itself. There is really nothing quite like hearing your entrance song start playing as you begin to walk down the aisle, and Kevin and Laura executed it flawlessly despite strong winds. I highly recommend Cellobration.

I've worked with Kevin over the years as an accompanist and pianist, and he has always done a terrific job. I most recently hired him to play for a fundraiser and he truly added to the ambiance and entertained the crowd. Kevin is extremely flexible and open to suggestions or ideas but also willing to take the lead on all matters regarding music. He is professional, always arriving on time and ready. He has a great attitude and works well with people of all types and all ages. I would highly recommend Kevin for your next event!

Kevin provided the music for our wedding and reception this past weekend, and I cannot say enough good things about him! He is genuinely friendly and put us at ease from the first meeting. He walked is through the ceremony and is able to suggest music or play what you ask. Our singer was a friend with little public singing experience, and Kevin met with her twice to practice for no extra charge.
Due to logistics, Kevin ended up having to move his requirement twice during the event. He was very flexible and accommodating and did everything he could to make things easy on us.
And most importantly, he plays beautifully! He had come recommended to us by a musical director friend, so I knew he would be talented, but you should go to his website and hear for yourself. In our ceremony he played everything from pop to classical and hit it all.
I would definitely recommend him!

Kevin played an important role in making our wedding very special. In addition to playing beautiful solo piano music during our outdoor ceremony, he accompanied some of my family members on their violins during our cocktail reception which was a great success. Kevin was fantastic to work with! Very professional, easy to communicate with and responded quickly to emails. Working with someone with this much experience took away the stress, and made it possible to relax and enjoy the event. I engaged Kevin to provide cocktail music for a very elegant outdoor affair in Charlottesville, Va. This event had celebrity guests and called for something just a little different. Kevin put together piano, bass, sax/flute, cello and even a male vocalist to provide non stop music under the stars. The musical vision Kevin executed was perfect, and even included the bride and groom's first dance before they went inside for the rest of the evening and a more traditional wedding reception band. Guests even wandered outside throughout the evening to enjoy the music. First class, professional, on time and a true artist. My highest recommendation.
