    Perfect Country Rustic

    If you are looking for a venue to have a rustic / barn country style wedding, this is the place! St. Rose Chapel is perfect for the smaller more intimate ceremony. We used the Jack Ass Saloon for our reception of approximately 75 people and it fit everyone perfectly. I received many compliments on the grounds and decor. I highly recommend this as your venue and the pricing is fair. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs and it didn’t come with all the rules as some venues require.

    Wedding After Party

    The ranch was the perfect venue for the wedding after party. It suited my daughter and son-n-laws eclectic country feel vibe and everyone on the ranch was amazing, kind and great to work with. Highly recommend 🙌

    Everyone went above and beyond!

    We had such a wonderful day! With many thanks to everyone at the ranch. From the beginning of our planning to the day of our celebration we were assured everything would be in place. Thank you Gina and Brian and Stephanie and Faith!

    Summer Wedding at the Kettle Moraine Ranch!

    My "now" husband and I had been engaged for nearly 11 years when we decided to plan our wedding in 3 short months. The Kettle Moraine Ranch had always been a venue that we were interested in but after speaking with Gina and touring the location we knew we had to book it for our day. Gina was super easy to work with and very accommodating to what we envisioned for our wedding day. We had so many guests tell us that our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings that they have attended and one of the couples that were guests of ours booked their upcoming wedding at the Ranch because they thought it was the perfect location for their special day too! I would highly recommend the Kettle Moraine Ranch! Gina was wonderful and so were the rest of her staff! I can't say enough about how perfect my wedding day was. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

    A perfect wedding reception!

    I cant convey enough appreciation to Gina and the whole Kettle Moraine Ranch staff for making our wedding day perfect. From the first exchange, to visiting the site, to hammering out the details to the day of the wedding, Gina made it great.
    It's not too often in today's environment that you find a group that genuinely cares about your experience and doesn't just see it as another day on their calendar.
    The setting of the ranch and the barn is amazing! I highly suggest you check them out. 5 stars all the way around!

    Wedding at Kettle Moraine Ranch

    We just had our wedding at the Kettle Moraine Ranch and could not have been happier with the venue. With covid-19 our wedding plans changed so many times and we wound up needing a venue about two months before our wedding date. Gina and her staff literally saved our wedding and we had the perfect day. Our friends and family thought the venue was beautiful and the staff amazing to work with. We threw a lot of last minute changes at Gina and she was incredibly flexible and happy to help us. Thank you Kettle Moraine Ranch!

    Excellent venue

    Excellent venue that was very rustic and absolutely beautiful at the same time..highly recommended..

    Perfect venue

    Gina was so great to work with! Very flexible and the venue was perfect. Over a year later and people are still talking about how great everything was!

    Fantastic time

    I’ve had my wedding here. The location is beautiful, staff is great! They truly make you feel like family there. My kids love it there too. They like to go horseback riding and the trails are great, the guides are great. If you’re planning an event or just looking to spend time with your family, Kettle Moraine Ranch is the place to be!

    Amazing, beautiful rustic wedding. Amazing venue and pleasant staff

    I had my wedding here at the kettle moraine ranch and it was absolutely beautiful. When I was communicating with Gina she was pleasant and willing to work with me. There were times it took her a bit to get back to me however I was understanding given she is a busy lady.

    Overall my wedding day was amazing. Gina helped me with last minute things to make sure my day was perfect and all the staff was amazing. Thank you so much for everything Gina !

    Very accommodating and flexible

    Gina and her staff were very accommodating! Given the circumstances of having our wedding during the pandemic and the unknown, the ranch did an awesome job helping us make it work. There were many changes and things we needed to be prepared to alter and Gina was understanding and helpful in providing opinions and advice on how to handle everything in a safe manner. I would recommend the ranch and have to friends recently. It’s affordable and flexible and a unique beautiful property.

    Taken Care Of

    From beginning to end of the planning process they made it as smooth as possible. Always super friendly and go above and beyond to meet every expectation. The venue is beautiful and the day was perfect!

    We had our wedding in the Buckhorn Barn at Kettle Moraine ranch and our day was just perfect. The bartenders were awesome and the venue was everything we dreamed it would be but one thing that upset me and 90% of my guests was the fact that the owner decided that during a super hot windy day while we were having our reception( partially outdoors) that he would get out the loader and push around gravel...around EVERYONES cars!!!!!! Beyond rude and i have heard of other people complaining about similar things happening.

    Unprofessional, and unresponsive

    Gina did not provide professional, or responsive service to us or our guests. We had guests reaching out to us because they would email her for camping and she never responded to them. She would take weeks to respond to our concerns. She only had 1 barn fan, after we were told she had multiple fans to provide since the barn was not air conditioned, amd wedding was in August. The bar service was rude to guests the night of. Gina also approached my husband while he was intoxicated on our wedding night to sign a contract to pay $41 dollars per additional cases or soda and water. We were left with a $250 fee after our wedding for just 6 cases of soda/water (costing $2-$9 at the store)

    My staff and Myself strive to make any event here amazing.

    I would like to address some of your issues and concerns listed.
    Comment-

    Response-
    I approached your husband earlier in the day/evening. It was very sunny out when I spoke with him and then started raining right after our conversation, so this was not at night when I approached him. As the general manager/co-owner I would not have someone sign something if they were drunk or unable to understand what I was saying. Your husband was completely coherent when I spoke with him. If he would have been noticeably drunk/out of it/unable to speak, I would have talked to someone else. (I did approach you first outside and you told me to speak with Robert about the beer and soda.)
    This is also why I explain the bar package to people when I meet with them.
    The 2nd time we met, we went over the bar package one more time because you were concerned about possibly running out of beer. My answer is the same to every client.
    If we need to add extra soda/water/beer I would find one of you, or someone you want in charge of that and let you know where you are at with soda/water/beer cases. If clients choose to add more soda/water/beer (because again I always have soda/water/beer on hand) then those clients would need to sign a contract allowing me to add items during the night. Your husband signed the contract form allowing me to add what was needed.

    Response-
    When I meet with clients, I always show them the barn and the set up we have.
    When we met for the 2nd time this year, which was in the warmer season, you knew what the barn looked like and could again see what we had to offer.
    This is an outside/barn venue, and with August generally being a hot month it is going to get hot inside no matter what we do. The day of your wedding happened to be one of the hottest days we have had which did not help in any way whatsoever.
    We do the best we can with the circumstances given to us with weather. I never promised more fans, because I do not have more. I do not offer items that we do not own. We have 9 ceiling fans, and one large barn fan. Your husband asked if it would be ok to bring one from home, and I said that would be completely fine and a good idea.

    I apologize that you feel that our staff here was rude. The night of your wedding we had 2 bartenders and myself. I was never approached by any of your guests that they were unhappy with our staff or service. In fact one of your guests gave my bartender a very large tip for doing a good job. My staff were very surprised and grateful for that.

    I apologize for my late responses to you. I try my best to keep up with everything we have going on here at the ranch. I try to make every effort to get information, answer questions, and help with concerns that any of my clients have. There are times where I can fall a bit behind, but we are working on getting a better system for certain parts of the business. Having that information helps me know what we need to improve on.

    A half star is too generous. Originally, the owner Al wanted to work from a contact written in him by pencil, should have been our first warning. A few days prior to our first payment for the venue, we received a call asking us if we still wanted the date and that the Ranch had other larger groups who wanted the date. I ended up liquidating a fair amount of assets but paid for almost the entire event a few days later. The owner wanted to constantly meet to discuss the event which we were will to do, but due to some family problems (i.e. relatives passing away & scheduled vacations) we were not able to meet on his time frame. This led to a graphic phone message, full of profanity, insulting my fiancee and I with the final line of "I don't care if you want to cancel with me, I got your money and there is no f**king way you're getting it back".

    I subsequently wrote a cancellation letter, with USPS tracking of course, requesting the contractually obligated funds returned.

    They have not been and we will end up taking them to court.

    If you are looking for a venue in Southeast Wisconsin - DO NOT BOOK WITH HIM.
