Beautiful Pictures

Kerry and team captured perfect images for our wedding and engagement photos. Very reasonably priced and quality is amazing. We had a difficult time choosing pictures for our album and prints because they were all so beautiful. Kerry is wonderful, she made us feel comfortable and laugh to get genuine smiles and reactions.

Timeless, Beautiful, and Beyond Our Expectations

Choosing Kerry Harrison as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. Kerry has an incredible ability to capture authentic, emotional moments while keeping the entire experience relaxed and stress-free. She guided us gently when needed but still let everything unfold naturally, which resulted in a beautiful collection of natural, candid photos.

Some of my favorite images are the outdoor garden shots - the way she worked with the lighting, colors, and scenery made those photos absolutely magical. Kerry’s attention to detail and artistic eye are truly impressive.

We also want to recognize Lindsay, her second photographer. Lindsay brought such a joyful energy and suggested creative poses that added to the fun.

Having both of them there reminded us just how exceptional Kerry is at her craft. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple looking for a photographer who is talented, professional, responsive, and a joy to work with.

Beautiful Photos! Wonderful to Work With

Kerry was responsive from beginning to end with very quick turn around on all communications and with our final photos. The pictures beautifully capture our day with a special emphasis on our wedding ceremony and the specific moments we asked to have captured. Kerry is lovely!

Kerry was always prompt to answer any question I had along the way and put me at ease with her warm and friendly demeanor. She made my husband laugh during all of our photos even during some stressful moments during the day. We have over a thousand photos from our wedding, which are all incredibly beautiful. We love our wedding photos from Kerry!

Kerry was great to work with from the start and made sure to capture every important detail we provided her throughout our wedding morning, mass, and ceremony. She was flexible with the winter weather during our December wedding and she suggested great spots at our venue to take pictures. She was familiar with our hotel, church, and venue in Wilmington- and it showed in her work. Her second shooter was also fantastic throughout the day, we would definitely recommend her to friends for their wedding photography! Thank you, Kerry!

Many Thanks for Wondering Pictures

Kerry is the best

Kerry did our engagement photos and wedding photos and they are better than we could have ever imagined. She and Michelle were extremely professional and it seemed like they were having so much fun. Kerry is also incredibly kind and loving. We had to change our plans so many times because of the pandemic and she went out of her way to be sympathetic, compassionate and accommodating. I can’t wait until we have a reason to call Kerry again.

Gorgeous Photos!

We loved having Kerry as our wedding photographer! We had so much fun meeting her and taking photos for our engagement shoot. On the day of our wedding, Kerry was very adaptable and worked around some hiccups from the venue like rooms for photos not being cleaned up in time. She still managed to find places for stunning photos!
Kerry and her team absolutely know why they are doing. I have always said that I did not, under any circumstances, want to go outside on my wedding day if it was in the summer, which it was. But Kerry knew where to go outside that was cool and breezy, and I trusted her. Good thing I did! She took us to her favorite spot, which was cooler than inside, and the pictures are fabulous! If you have Kerry at your wedding, trust what she says! She will take good care of you!

Kerry also got the photos back to us VERY quickly, so quickly that people who were married before us and were waiting on theirs were jealous! The photo of the dip from our first dance receives compliments kn a regular basis, even months later! We will always cherish these photos!

Excellent!

Working with Kerry was so fun! She was professional, organized, creative, and so easy to work with! She was very prepared for the day and had great ideas for pictures and poses, but she was also down for any last minute ideas that we had. Kerry and her assistant worked so well together. They captured every special moment throughout the day, not a single detail was missed. The quality and quantity of photos exceeded our expectations. We had our photos back in less than 2 weeks!!!! We are so happy that we chose Kerry to capture our special day!

Great Professional Photographer!

Kerry was a pleasure to work with and such a talented photographer! She was so helpful and organized in helping us navigate through our wedding planning journey from taking our engagement photos through finding the best places for photos on our wedding day. We were married at Winterthur on the hottest day of the summer and Kerry was there with us walking around the property helping get our gorgeous photos. It was really important for us to find a photographer who we felt comfortable with for our wedding day and we knew Kerry was the one right when we met her! She helped us feel right at ease and comfortable taking photos and we were so happy when we saw the final product! Look no further than Kerry Harrison Photography! Kerry was a DREAM to work with. She was professional and had an extremely good eye! From day one, Kerry was always quick to respond and extremely open to any photograph we wanted to shoot. For our wedding day she worked with us to complete an extremely detailed timeline to ensure every picture was captured! The day after our wedding she posted about 20 photos for us to see! When we came back from our honeymoon we received all of our prints. Kerry's photos are timeless and elegant and her price was incredibly fair! We LOVE Kerry! Kerry was very responsive the entire process of our wedding and quickly answered all of my questions. We were not sure how the weather would play out the days leading up to our wedding and Kerry stayed very positive but also had a plan. Even though we ended up having rain, Kerry and Nathalie were super flexible with what needed to be done! They took off their shoes and got right in it! Even though our plans changed, our pictures turned out perfect! They were able to capture the wedding and reception in such detail where I feel that I can remember all the details and guests. The turn around on pictures was very quick and very much appreciated! Highly recommend Kerry and her team!

I cannot begin to express how fantastic Kerry is at her craft! Not only is she a complete professional, but she is totally able to adapt to the unexpected and roll with the punches that are bound to happen at one point or another on a wedding day. It was raining on and off the day of my wedding, and we ultimately wound up having the ceremony outside with tons of umbrellas. Kerry was an absolute rock star! She hooked an umbrella up to her camera and wound up capturing the most stunning photos.

At the reception, Kerry and her second shooter Veronica were so great about being right there for every moment without it feeling obtrusive. Tons of my guests commented on how they felt like every time a great moment was happening on the dance floor, Kerry was magically there to capture it!

I cannot recommend Kerry more highly. Your wedding is just one day (which will fly by). The photos are the thing that you'll treasure afterward. If you're trying to decide on what to invest in, choose Kerry!

My husband and I are both rather introverted and during our engagement photo session we felt a little awkward and camera shy. But Kerry made us feel so comfortable and we ended up having a blast! Not to mention, the pictures are fantastic! Our only regret is that we didn't ask for extra hours so that we could have even more pictures! We highly recommend Kerry!

My husband and I are both very awkward when it comes to pictures, but Kerry made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Whenever I have any questions, Kerry would respond immediately. She was able to capture all the special moments beautifully. Also, I am shocked at the fast turnaround time on the sneak peek and actual wedding pictures. All of them are so beautiful and stunning. We LOVE LOVE LOVE our engagement shoot and wedding day pictures!! Kerry has so much experience and captures all those special moments beautifully! Our families and friends were blown away by the quality of her shots. For wedding day pictures it's so important to be good at getting couple shots, family photos, bridal party photos, detail shots, and all the special candid photos-- and she captures all of it! I've never heard of someone getting their engagement shoot and wedding pictures back as quickly as we did. We loved having a sneak peak of photos the day after the wedding while we were still giggly with happiness. Then so soon getting a USB drive with access to all of the pictures with one of the pictures of us printed on the wooden USB drive, so we will never lose it made us so excited all over again :) Thank you Kerry!

We are not people who enjoy getting our photo taken but Kerry put us at ease from the very first time we met with her. She made us feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera and the results were just amazing! We were married in November of 2017 and still can't stop staring at the photos she took for us! Everyone we show the photos to just thinks they are amazing.

She had a vision for our engagement photos and wedding photos. She gave us pointers on how to light the ceremony area to be able to have even more phenomenal pictures. We absolutely adore our wedding pictures from Kerry! I initially found her here on WeddingWire and after reading many reviews and looking through the gorgeous pictures in her portfolio on her website, she was my top choice for our wedding photographer. Our pictures and album are stunning and are everything we wanted. Kerry got so many amazing candid shots during our ceremony and we have so many favorites from our first look shoot. Kerry was incredibly efficient getting our pictures back to us. We very much enjoyed getting our sneak peek from her the next day and getting to go through those pictures as our honeymoon cruise pulled out of the port. We lucked out and ended up with a third shooter that Kerry was training to be a second shooter for her, and we were impressed with both of the assisting photographers that she brought along. Kerry was also very accommodating in that she changed the engagement shoot that was included in our package to an anniversary shoot because we lived across the country and had decided to use a photographer local to us for our engagement pictures. After seeing our wedding photos, we are very excited to have Kerry take more pictures of us! Kerry is a true artist and we very much enjoyed working with her and love our finished product. We can't thank her enough for capturing all of the special memories from our wedding day.

Another Mother of the Bride weighing in -- Kerry was the very first vendor we booked for our daughter's wedding. From our first meeting, it was evident that she had the personality, professionalism, and vision to document this special day in photos to be enjoyed long after the final bubbles left the champagne. If you are looking for a photographer who gives you more then just ordinary wedding photos, then Kerry is the one for you. She has such an amazing talent for capturing special moments which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. She gives you suggestions & ideas, always thinking outside of the box to make her photos unique and personal. Kerry took our engagement photos and we right off the bat felt comfortable with her. It's difficult to write a objective review at this point for Kerry because she's more like a friend to us then just a photographer. From our first meeting, to drinks before our beautiful engagement photos, to being so funny and engaging on our wedding day...Kerry was above and beyond the best photographer that we've ever dealt with, and we've done a lot of events over the years.

She has a great eye for catching candid moments, and it's clear she does her homework on her locations. You can tell in her mind she has what pictures she wants and what will look good from the suggestions she makes. Dear Kerry –

Well finally! We can now begin to organize our thoughts enough to express to you in writing our thanks for your services from beginning to end for our daughter Alison’s wedding. The entire day turned out to be more than lovely – and you were essential in that process. You made the experience a total joy!

Your professional skill spoke for itself. The wedding photos captured Sean and Alison to perfection – the joy, the surprise, the quiet moments, the anticipation and the excitement all rolled into one. Your wonderful sense of color and your eye to detail was evident in the beautiful results. And of course there is our favorite photo – one of Alison’s beautiful smile and those deep blue eyes reflecting in her lilac bouquet. Your photographs of the outdoor scenes were magnificent – the staging, the groupings, the scenery, the lights and darks, etc, etc, etc. And you even made her parents look good! You captured all the right moments as a keepsake of our lovely memories. We couldn’t have asked for more!

We could go on and on about your professional service but it was your personal skill that really sold us. You were funny, engaging, kind, understanding, accommodating and gracious. Simply speaking - a nice person to work with. You went out of your way to make the planning easy for the bride and groom. Your trip to New York was above and beyond the call of duty. You “got” exactly what we all were looking for. We were indeed in good hands!

Alison and Sean have been a little slow picking out their wedding photos. We are trying to nudge them along so we can order something for ourselves that is a little different. Since the wedding, it has been amazing to us how many people we run into who are looking for a good wedding photographer. We would love to have some of your business cards so we could hand them out. Kerry and her team were great. She took all of our ideas into consideration and even made them better. She was great at helping ease nerves and create natural shots that turned out amazing. From the start, my husband and I agreed that beautiful photography was one of the most important aspects of our wedding that we weren't willing to skimp or settle on. And after speaking/fighting with/declining what seemed like 100 photographers, there was no doubt that Kerry was "the one". From our first interaction via email to our first phone call and our first meeting, she had a very warm, genuine presence and just after a few minutes, she quickly saw the vision that we had for our special day. Her style is classic, elegant and natural but some of her photos belong in magazines. She took our engagement photos (which was part of our package) at the location of our choice and they came out wonderfully (and fast!) We got married at the Hagley Museum in Wilmington, DE and not many photographers had even heard of this historic landmark, but Kerry knows this venue inside and out, so we were confident that she knew the right spots to take the best photos. A big win was that she sought both of our feedback during the planning process (rather than only consulting with the bride, like a lot of vendors do) and she made sure to understand exactly what we wanted while giving her honest ideas as well. Since we were paying for the wedding ourselves and handling a lot of major life changes, keeping our finances in order was crucial, but Kerry was willing to work within our budget; however, I believe her prices are fair for her quality of work. I don't even remember seeing her during our wedding day (it was like she blended in with the guests) but the photos she captured were stunning and were even featured in an online magazine! That's how good she is! Our friends and family were also impressed at how fast we got our wedding photos released-a lot of my friends had to wait for 4-6 months to get their photos back but we got ours in exactly a month. Kerry Harrison and her assistant Hallie were fabulous on our wedding day. Kerry and Hallie took artistic photos that captured the day. They had a terrific blend of candid and posed shots. Kerry Harrison was just amazing. She photographer our wedding and we also did and engagement session with her. She was incredibly easy to work with and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was very fast with replying to our questions through email and always reachable by phone as well. She was also super fast getting our wedding pictures to us, we got a nice preview the very next day and the rest of the beautiful pictures in just 2 weeks. The pictures are gorgeous and we are so very happy we picked her. We would definitely use her again in the future for family photos.

Kerry was great. From the first meeting we had with Kerry, my wife and I really liked her and felt very comfortable with her. Kerry was very enthusiastic and very easy to get along with. Kerry gave us a very competitive price and delivered quality pictures.

We did our engagement shoot at Winterthur Gardens on Kerry's recommendation. The gardens were beautiful and Kerry found great areas for us to get photos. Kerry made us feel really comfortable and relaxed and the pictures came out great! Kerry had a really fast turn around with the photos and we were able to use them on our rehearsal dinner invitations. After the photos we received from the engagement shoot we were confident we would get great photos for the wedding.

On the wedding day Kerry was with my wife and her assistant Hailey was with me. Hailey did a great job and was easy to get along with. Kerry and her team worked really well at the ceremony (St John's on Main St), and get all the family photos and wedding party photos before the reception (Deerfield). Kerry was very accommodating and worked well with all the kids. We got all the photos we wanted and had time to make it to the cocktail hour.

Kerry got had our wedding pictures ready right after we got back from our Honeymoon. The pictures turned out great! We loved the pictures. we just have to figure out which ones to put in our book.

Kerry was great, and extremely easy to get along with. Her photos were excellent and her turn around time was really fast. We strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

Kerry Harrison should photograph your wedding. Period.

I met Kerry at a wedding vendor fair a few months before the big day. We had interviewed several photographers, none of whom felt like the right fit. Five minutes with Kerry sealed the deal: she was super-excited about our venue, and had gorgeous ideas right out of the gate. Sold.

And we weren't disappointed: our photos from both the engagement session and our wedding are amazing. Beautiful photos of us, our wedding party, our families, friends ... Kerry and her assistant took hundreds of terrific shots of everyone enjoying our special day - they blended in seamlessly with the party, and it shows. Our wedding took place at Winterthur Museum and Gardens, one of Kerry's favorite places to photograph. She was enthusiastic from the start and thrilled to shoot our wedding there. We chose Kerry for two reasons: First, an acquaintance knew her personally and professionally and then, when my mother viewed the photos on her website, she became completely impressed with her ability to the capture the emotions of the people she was photographing. This made us choose Kerry.

On the day of our wedding her and her team (Rebecca and Jay) were comfortable and fun to work with and even had the tricks and trades to get the children at the wedding to pose beautifully for the photographs. Kerry is a true artist! The whole experience with Kerry was easy as she is so experienced and knowledgeable. All you have to do is tell her what you are looking for and she takes your ideas and runs with them to create a masterpiece. Both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures are works of art that we will treasure for our lifetime. Kerry is prompt with getting your pictures to you. 20+ pictures were available for us to view the day after our wedding, with the rest ready shortly thereafter. She is unbelievable and has become a friend who we look forward to taking many more pictures of us and our family to be. As for would I recommend Kerry Harrison Photography to family and friends....I already have!

Kerry captured our wedding day beautifully in her photographs! The pictures were absolutely amazing and we have received so many compliments on the pictures already. Kerry worked with us prior to the wedding to determine what types of pictures we wanted to have and followed our timeline for the day to perfection, so that we still had plenty of time to enjoy our reception. Kerry had pictures posted the day after our wedding and had all the pictures completed for us to view two weeks after the wedding. Kerry was easy to work with, took beautiful pictures and is also incredibly affordable. She worked with us to create a package within our budget and we could not be more happy with the results!!

Kerry did an fantastic job as our wedding photographer. She remained even keeled on a day that is and can be extremely chaotic. The photos were able to capture the diversity of our backgrounds as well as the significance of the event. I'm happy we chose her as our photographer and only wish I provided more detail on the significant people that needed to be included in the photos. They say things always go wrong with weddings but the one thing you don't want ruined are your wedding photos. Our photos reflect all of the beauty and love that was experienced on our wedding day. We are so lucky to have had Kerry shoot our wedding (and our engagement pictures). She got some beautiful portraits of us alone and with our families that we will cherish forever.

Kerry was also incredibly generous with us at every step of the process. Her prices were affordable and she gave us our full set of photos within 2-3 weeks of both events (she also posted sneak peeks with 6-25 pictures each after both of our shoots, which gave us that immediate gratification while she finalized the rest of our shots).

I really can't say enough about how glad we are to have worked with Kerry for our wedding. It was really important to me to find a photographer who could capture such important moments in our life beautifully. Kerry was also really flexible about working with us to find a wedding package within our budget.

Kerry was open to our thoughts and feelings about our photography needs well before our wedding. The day of, she and her assistant got some great shots, without taking too much away from the timing or the events of the day. I love our candid shots just as much as the posed ones, and love that Kerry had experience photographing at Hagley before - it allowed her a great deal of insight into what and where would look best.

Kerry is amazing, she excels in all styles of photography, including coaxed candids, gorgeous portrait shots, sophisticated black and white photos plus nature-inspired scenery photos. She's manages to capture the essence of the event through an artist's eye. We've hired her for two of our daughters' weddings will definitely use her services again one day soon.

Perfect for any ocassion!

Kerry was a stellar vendor throughout the ups and downs of COVID wedding season. After our engagement in March 2020, Kerry stuck with us through various changes of plans until our eventual micro-wedding in December 2020. Kerry also came back and took photos for our delayed reception in December 2021, capturing beautiful memories across both days, making us feel like we didn't miss a beat. She has a talent for both the traditional and artistic and has great style. We were also very pleased with the USB file we received containing our photos that comes in a custom wooden box!

Kerry did an incredible job of capturing our wedding day. She knew all of the best spots to take photos at our venue, and she had an eye for creating the most flattering pictures of us, our family, and our guests. At one point, she had my husband, me, and our wedding party link arms and walk together, and we all laughed and thought it would look weird, but those pictures ended up being some of my favorites of all of us! Kerry just knew what would look good through the lens every step of the way. She skillfully captured amazing candid shots of our family and friends throughout the event, and I think those are some of the most special photos we have. Everyone has been stunned with how beautiful our pictures are. Thanks again Kerry!

Kerry was absolutely lovely to work with. She has a very expansive catalog of work, so you know that she can take beautiful candids to capture all the special moments of the day, as well as the formal portraits. She works very quickly both when taking the pictures and in processing the pictures. She was able to corral both sides of my family (nearly 40 people) and all the bridal party and get the pictures done in under an hour. She also posted a large album of pictures to Facebook for everyone to view the next day! Kerry had a second shooter with her, Abby, who was just as great at capturing all the shots. Kerry was so accommodating in helping us to recreate some images. They even turned out better than we expected!

Great and Talented Photogropher!

Kerry takes absolutely stunning pictures. They pictures from our wedding are so gorgeous. I can’t believe how well they turned out. Kerry is a lot of fun to work with during the photo sessions and helps coach you through various poses if you need it or aren’t sure exactly what to do. Our second shooter the day of was Veronica and she was awesome to work with as well. They were both very good at not drawing attention to themselves and being more on the perimeter during all of the big moment of the day, the ceremony, dances, cake cutting, etc. but still took amazing shots. That was something that was really important to us - we wanted all the moments captured but we didn’t want the day to feel like it was about the pictures and videos instead of the actual experience.

We also took our engagement pictures with Kerry as part of our package. They came out great and she was fun to work with. She had a lot of ideas for poses, which was really helpful since neither of us were sure about what we wanted to do. At the same time though she was all for anything specific we wanted to do. She is definitely more of a go with the flow type person.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is while going with the flow can be great, especially during weddings, it did end up causing us to feel behind during the day and we weren’t able to get quite as many pictures with our bridal party as we would have liked. We ended up becoming a little behind schedule during our bride and groom portraits so when we went to do our wedding party pictures, all of the family had already arrived for those pictures so we had to rush through those a little bit. We had a large number of family there for pictures - probably 60-70 people. We created a family photos shot list ahead of time so we could get through it efficiently but it still felt very overwhelming. Kerry did her best to go through the shot list but it seemed like she got a little overwhelmed by the number of people. We got through all the family pictures so that was good but I think it would have been better if Kerry could’ve taken charge a bit more when going through the shot list so that it wouldn’t have felt as overwhelming for us.

Overall the pictures are great and we enjoyed working with Kerry. We’re happy with out decision to have Kerry capture our wedding day for us!

Poor wedding day attitude

I was not satisfied with Kerry’s service on the day of our wedding. Our engagement shoot was amazing and she did amazing work. However, on our wedding day, when we were NOT at one of her preferred spots, the whole attitude changed. She was rude to me, my parents, and my guests. She was inflexible and unclear with what she needed from us. I’m disappointed because I was really excited to have her shoot our wedding. The photos came out well, but the experience wasn’t amazing.
