We were completely caught off guard by how wonderful Keren was in every aspect of the wedding planning and photography process. Keren displayed professionalism, warmth, and genuine interest in us as a couple throughout the engagement shoot and the wedding day, as well as went above and beyond to shower us with encouragement and little tokens of excitement throughout the planning process. We were absolutely thrilled to have worked with Keren, and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a top-notch wedding photographer in the Chicagoland area!

Keren was incredible! Engagement and wedding pictures are a big deal and she knocked it out of the park. She pays close attention to detail (e.g. moving you over an extra 2 inches to capture the light just right), is really friendly, gives you fun posing ideas, and is open to ideas you may have. She is also quick and efficient without compromising quality of the shots, which I really appreciated (I didn't want to spend our wedding day taking photos the whole time). She's great at capturing authentic, Kodak moments that truly reflect you as a couple. We've received so many compliments that our photos look so natural, but are the quality of something in a magazine. I highly recommend Keren. She's a complete delight!

It is hard to know where to begin talking about Keren and how much she added to not just our wedding, but our entire wedding experience for the year prior. From the first time we met with Keren, we knew she was the photographer for us. Not only is her work beautiful and timeless, but her warm personality and passion for her work shines in everything she does. She truly cares about making a connection with her clients, and leading up to the wedding day I couldn't wait to see her again and spend the day with her. Keren is always extremely responsive (even when I would send her wedding questions that had nothing to do with photography!), and especially considering the quality of her work and amazing attention to detail, is very reasonably priced. We will treasure our engagement photos and wedding photos forever. Thank you, Keren!

Keren is the best photographer out there! She did not make us feel rushed and took pictures that we were comfortable with. She truly depicted how we felt about each other during our engagement sessions and wedding pictures. She is so easy to work with! Also, she responds to questions and concerns fast. Keren was one of the greatest decisions we made! From the initial meeting to well after our wedding, Keren has been there for us every step of the way. At our first meeting we knew right away that Keren was the photographer for us! Of course I had done prior research and fell in love with her photo's and photojournalist style, but it was her knowledge, professionalism, and easy-going personality that sealed the deal for us! We loved how comfortable she made us feel with the whole process and was very honest with how important that was to having our personalities shine in the photos. She made us feel SO special throughout the whole process surprising us along the way and being a great resource. We had the best time getting to know her better at the engagement photo shoot and at several different meetings. Keren was absolutely wonderful on the wedding day!!! She was always very professional and made everyone in the bridal party comfortable. We are BEYOND happy with how the photos turned out. She has a deep talent for wedding photography and her photos were breathtaking! We get so many compliments on how well she captured the emotion of the day. Keren is hands down THE best wedding photographer and well worth the investment. These are photos that are going to be cherished for a lifetime and we could not have been happier to have Keren capture them for us! I already can't wait to do an anniversary shoot in the future with her!

Working with Keren was wonderful! She is so friendly and easy to get along with, and she made my husband and I feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. This was especially great when we took our engagement pictures (we're both pretty awkward when a lot of attention is focused on us, but our pictures turned out great!). We love the moments Keren captured on our wedding day, both the posed photos and action shots looked so natural and were exactly what we wanted. Keren was very timely and organized when it came to communication, from the moment we hired her to even after our wedding was over. Keren is very thoughtful and knows how to take care of her couples. Keren was a pleasure to work with and I am so glad I chose her to capture our big day! From the beginning, she was very responsive and was always happy to answer any and all questions I had for her. Our engagement photos were amazing and she got them back to us very quickly. It was our first time getting professional photos taken, but she made us feel very comfortable and did a great job coaching us on how to pose. She was also very patient with our toddler and you can't even tell in the photos that he was crying minutes before.
Our wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous and she and her second shooter Erica did an amazing job at capturing the perfect moments! They were very patient with everyone and we got some great shots of our family and friends.

Definitely do not hesitate to reach out to Keren to inquire about having her be your wedding photographer! She's very talented and will be a joy to work with on your special day.

Photography was one of the most important elements for my husband and me on our wedding day, knowing the time would fly by but we'd have the photos forever. We couldn't be more thrilled that we chose Keren! She is extremely prepared, professional and thorough, and her easy-going nature and warmth helped everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our biggest "problem" now is narrowing down which of the many many stunning shots we want Keren to put in our album! She also did our engagement photos and we've gotten so many compliments on both the wedding and engagement pictures. She and her second shooter, Erica, truly captured the beauty and excitement of our amazing day. Keren is one in a million!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was having Keren as our photographer! From our first meeting, my husband I not only loved her because of how gorgeous her photos were, but also because we could tell she goes above and beyond for her clients. Throughout our engagement, Keren consistently checked in with us, including sending us movie tickets so we could make sure we kept the romance around during the crazy wedding planning time. When it came to our engagement photos, she drove up to Milwaukee (where my husband proposed), and spent hours with us taking photos and making us laugh and feel so so comfortable. The months leading up to the wedding, she was SO ON TOP OF IT! She made sure she had us fill out forms (nothing overbearing) about the pictures we wanted, and sent out a timeline so we would know what to expect from her the day of and who else we needed around at what times for pictures. As a bride who spent so much time planning for this day, I cannot tell you enough how much it meant to me that she did this well before the hectic time a week or two before the wedding.

The day of the wedding, Keren and her second photographer Erica were so so so so great! Every moment was captured without any interruption of the day. They were efficient at getting through family and bridal party photos, and they made sure that it all felt natural and everyone was comfortable. I have not seen the photos from the day yet (it is only two weeks after my wedding), but I am SURE that they will turn out absolutely beautiful, especially since I was completely in love with our engagement photos. For me, the most important vendor I needed to book was my photographer since the pictures are the only things I have to remember the day. I have absolutely no regrets about booking Keren, and I would try my best to persuade anyone thinking of using her as their photographer to do so without hesitation! Thank you so much, Keren!

Keren was amazing to work with from start to finish. Before I even met with Keren, I had a bunch of bizarre questions on lighting and photos based on other photos I'd seen of our wedding venue. Keren was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful from this point (before we had even signed a contract) on. We didn't have a wedding planner, and Keren was extremely helpful with planning for timing of photos as well as locations. In person, Keren puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable when taking photos. For our engagement photos, I was somewhat nervous that I would feel uncomfortable, but after a few minutes everything was great and we actually had a lot of fun. The same can be said for the wedding day. In addition, Keren is very conscious of not being "in your face" on your wedding day / during your ceremony. I often forgot she and Erica, her assistant, were there despite the fact that they were busy capturing beautiful images of the day. Keren's photos speak for themselves. I've had friends and relatives express interest in Keren's photography since seeing our engagement and wedding photos. I just received our beautiful wedding album, and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend Keren to a friend or family member!

Keren and Erica were fantastic! We recently received our photos and they look amazing. We have had a lot of compliments from not only family and friends, but strangers as well (via fb, twitter, ect). Whatever the question was, they were upfront and professional. They're easy going and fun to hang out with. They made sure they got all the shots we asked for and even some last minute requests. Our guests were impressed with them and everyone was comfortable with them even children. My husband and I highly recommend them for any event that you would want to have professional pictures.

Keren is a professional, talented, friendly, and flexible photographer. She did my engagement shoot and wedding day photos. I am so glad to have her take these photos on my special day to remember. Keren was wonderful to work with for our wedding! We got pictures that really captured a lot of great moments and had formal pictures that were beautiful too. Our wedding had a little over 300 people, but she was able to maneuver through crowds and chaos and managed to get a lot of pictures of those that attended. From the moment we met with her, I knew we had the same vision for photographs and I was able to see that come to fruition once we got our pictures. I remember my husband having a lot of nerves and disinterest in some of the process, but she made him feel super comfortable at our e-session which helped too! I was also grateful for her work after our ceremony because we were running late to the reception, but she made sure we got all the poses that I wanted included. I would highly recommend Keren!

Prior to choosing Keren Sarai photography, my husband and I met with 5 other photographers. I found Keren and the other photographers through the recommendation of friends, and by searching for Chicago engagement pictures and following links back to the photographer’s site. We both agreed that Keren was the best value- $3500 for 8 hours of coverage with a second photographer, a one hour engagement session, copies of all the high resolution images with printing rights, and a 10x10 heirloom album. Additionally, she made us feel very comfortable, was incredibly thoughtful, and we loved her work. When we first met with her, she was incredibly professional- she had a personalized bridal box us with different pamphlets detailing her prices, as well as tips for good engagement pictures and a list of her recommended vendors. Keren goes above and beyond to care for her brides and even has a private facebook group for her bridal clients so we can source suggestions and advice from each other. After we booked her for the wedding, she sent us a small token of appreciation, which I thought was so sweet!
One thing that impressed me most about Keren is how detail oriented she is. Prior to the wedding day, she had us fill out a comprehensive 4 page questionnaire that helped me to think through the whole schedule and logistics, as well as confirm all shots we wanted (and family members to be in each shot). She coordinated with the DJ to make sure everything like the first dance and garter toss happened on time and that they didn’t miss anything. Keren’s second shooter is usually a woman named Erica, who also happens to be one of her close friends. Between the two of them there is a natural chemistry and flow to their process that helped the entire day go smoothly. They were adept at dividing and conquering, while also capturing moments from both perspectives. They were both a pleasure to work with and I was so happy we chose KSP!

Keren was the BEST! First of all she is such a sweet person. But she is also a very talented photographer. You can just tell that she has a lot of experience in wedding photography. She will help you come up with a schedule for the big day, so that you don't miss any special moments. She is very organized and able to handle huge groups of family and friends waiting around to take photos with the bride and groom. My family is very big and my husband and I wanted pictures with each side of the family, we had to take those photos along with the wedding party photos, and some one on one bride/groom photos all during the cocktail hour. Keren was great at getting everyone's attention, staying on track, and capturing beautiful shots at the same time. I have numerous amazing photos from my wedding, and it's all thanks to Keren, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

From our initial meeting with Keren, my husband and I knew we would choose her as our wedding day photographer! It was evident what a genuine and warm person she was after our first few minutes chatting over Starbucks. Keren listened attentively and offered suggestions as we excitedly shared wedding day details. Keren told us that she decided to solely become a wedding photographer because she realized that shooting couples in love (on one of the most important days of their lives), was her true passion. Well, her passion for wedding photography is truly reflected in her photos. Keren's photos are absolutely beautiful and timeless. She has an eye for detail and knows exactly where to shoot to incorporate natural light, giving her photos a romantic and magical feel. We have received numerous compliments on our engagement photos and the "sneak peeks" of our wedding photos. We feel that part of the reason that Keren's photos are unique is the fact that she keeps her subjects moving. The photos have fluidity and her subjects have genuine expressions. "Forced", "fake", "cheesy" and "posed" are words that won't even cross your mind when you look at Keren's photos.

Keren communicated frequently leading up to the wedding day. She responded promptly to e-mails, offered suggestions, and answered our questions. She also sent little notes and gifts our way, which was such a pleasant surprise! Keren is enthusiastic, efficient, professional, smart, easygoing, and extremely sweet. We were very impressed with her ability to work collaboratively with her assistant, Erica. Keren and Erica were a dynamite team! Keren was cognizant of the time to ensure that all the wedding day shots that we desired with family and friends (as well as the pretty details), were captured. We highly recommend Keren Sarai Photography to all couples seeking a skilled and extremely competent wedding photographer. This will likely be one of the best decisions you will make for your wedding day!

We couldn't be happier that we found Keren Sarai Photography for our wedding. Our pictures are spectacular, which is ultimately the most important part, but the entire experience was beyond our expectations. Keren is so laid back and sweet and easy to work with, and the quality of the work we received for the affordable cost cannot be beat. Everyone in our bridal party and guests at the wedding continuously told us how wonderful Keren was, and everyone LOVES our pictures! My husband and I are an international couple and our wedding was quite literally the only time we'd have all our loved ones in one place. We could not possibly be happier with our decision to go with Keren Sarai Photography; we chose Keren for her professional skill, talent and eye as a photographer and for her warm and friendly personality. What we could never have anticipated, however, was the level of thoughtfulness and care we would receive at every step along the way.

My husband and I had met with a lot of capable photographers but the thing that tipped the scales for us was Keren's inherent understanding of why and how our wedding was so important to us (each couple has their own special focus). This understanding allowed her to anticipate our needs and truly help us when we were in the thick of planning and suffering from decision-fatigue.

Each photograph shows just how much Keren respected and cared for us and our needs. They all possess a timelessness with their beautiful lighting and classic finishes; these are photos that we'll be proud of in 40 years (no Instragram-like filters!).

And we had so much fun working with Keren! We had a cold and windy wedding day yet the laughter and joy of that day is still infectious through our photos. She was instrumental at keeping our day/timing on track and did such a great job blending into the background during the ceremony, we barely noticed she was there.

Keren captured every detail we worked so hard to put together when creating the wedding of our dreams. Our wedding day went by so fast and we were so busy... it's been so wonderful to see these details and to have memories we would have missed otherwise. I've found myself laughing, crying, reminiscing...everything we could have asked for is there and we didn't have to miss a precious second with our family and friends. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Keren is absolutely amazing! My fiance and I had never had professional pictures of us taken and we were both very nervous. As soon as we met Keren we knew we had made the perfect choice. Keren is very easy going and took all of needs into consideration. She listened carefully to everything we said and clearly captured everything we envisioned our engagement pictures to be. She suggested really great locations for our session, but her priority was to capture us as a couple. She made us feel really comfortable and the session ran very smoothly. My fiance and I enjoyed every second of the shoot and had a lot of fun.

Once we received our pictures we were beyond amazed at the end product. The pictures were flawless, not to mention our pictures were delivered promptly using the latest app. Keren made it very easy for us to access our pictures online, share them, order prints, and download them. We couldn't be happier with our pictures. We loved them all!

We LOVED working with Keren! Aside from the fact that she took AMAAAZING pictures of both our engagement and our wedding, she was so so great to work with. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and worked hard to build a great relationship with us (this will make more sense once you book her and work with her!). And yes, the pictures were beautiful - we received so many compliments from family and friends about them. If there was a way for me to show them on here, I would =).

Keren was so amazing from the beginning. She made us feel comfortable and was truly excited about photographing our wedding from the first day we met her. She highly recommended that we do an engagement session, which was something we were a little hesitant about. But we are so glad she did! She made us feel comfortable and put our minds at ease for our wedding day. When she showed up at our hotel on our wedding day I felt her bring a calm, collected composure to the room and everything was perfect from there on out. When we were running a little behind at the reception she even stayed a little longer just to capture me throwing the bouquet! We received our pictures within a few weeks and I was amazed at how beautiful they were. All in all Keren is someone I would recommend a million times over. Not only is she an amazing photographer but a sweet, caring person as well!

Keren was fabulous right from the start. We could tell right away that she was laid back and made us feel comfortable. She also gets the job done. I stalked her blog/facebook/website to find that she did amazing work. I could tell that her photos were unique and different.

We set up an engagement session in Chicago and she was wanting to do an urban shoot. I knew she had a vision and I trusted that. She took us to some really neat spots, but also kept our ideas in mind for another location. The photos were amazing and she got them to us in a very timely fashion. A few were even featured on Wedding Wire's Engagement page!

Keren pays attention to detail and is client oriented. She was thorough and made me feel at ease about everything. Our wedding day was seamless and the pictures were perfect. I have received countless compliments on all of our photos from Keren. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with Keren's photos and her unmatched customer service. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married!

She was easy to get a hold of, she knew what she was doing, she was timely. This was very refreshing since during the wedding planning, not all vendors were easy to communicate with. Keren is so great to work with, extremely friendly while very professional. She does beyond amazing work. While I don't plan on getting married again (lol) I would use her services for another event in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her for your wedding day because my experience was excellent!

Keren is Fabulous!! She is such a gifted photographer!!! I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture the moments of such a special and forever will be remember day!! She is very organized and professional. She had the only day timed out and scheduled!! I have a very big family and she made the family photo time fly by perfectly! Wedding Day Photography

Working with Keren was always a dream based on her previous work with our family members’ weddings, and to be able to hire her for our wedding day was better than we had hoped. Keren is patient and creative, and was always open to our requests. She was ready and calm during our photo sessions and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. Our wedding album turned out incredible with posed and candid shots and we love reliving our day going through them.

Keren Sarai Photography met and exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding photos! You can see from her website that she is great at what she does. She photographed two of our friends weddings and I loved their photos. It was a no brainer that we had to have her as our photographer as well. Keren is professional and personable at the same time. I received fast responses to my many emails. I took off one star for value because she is fairly pricey but like most things in life, you get what you pay for. Worth every penny! You will certainly not be disappointed!

Keren was great in meeting our needs for our wedding. From our first phone call to the wedding day, she was great in keeping in touch with us and even knew our wedding day timeline by heart on the day of! Our engagement photoshoot (which she was so flexible in scheduling with us, since we were from out of town) was a great way in getting to know her and practicing those poses that we needed to be ready for on the day of the wedding. Up until the day of the wedding, we were in communication about our timeline and I was extremely impressed with how she knew the little details on what was happening throughout the day and where we had to be. She was able to work with our extremely tight schedule, which was important during our portrait sessions and family photo sessions after the ceremony. She was great at capturing all the shots that meant the most to us on our special day since we had a traditional South Indian Christian wedding. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to be taken care of throughout the whole wedding planning process!

Keren and Erica were exceptional. They were very flexible, easy going, and have a good eye for beautiful shots. I have a ton of amazing photos from them and voted to not have a videographer because I felt confident that they would give me photos that would be incredible. The only piece of feedback I would give is that I would like for them to be more assertive with positioning the bridal party and family members.

Keren was a great photographer! She had so much patience and kept us on time without rushing us too much. Her quality of pics is amazing. Only thing I would suggest for future couples is to let her know what specific shots you would like, don't assume photographers will know what the couple wants. It's always better to convey what pics you know you would like to have, even if it's obvious.
