She made me look like a better version of myself and the hair and makeup lasted for the whole day (including a photoshoot outside in the humid Houston weather). Everybody complimented me. Definitely recommend! -

Absolutely loved Kenzie and her team! I had the pleasure of meeting Kenzie from a friends’s wedding in which I was a bridesmaid. I loved my make up then- I knew exactly who to book when it was my turn to be the bride! She did a trial for me, bridal portraits, and of course wedding day make up. Each time it was beautiful,perfect, and light! On my wedding day I was able to hug my guest, dance, and kiss my hubby thousands of times without my make up even budging! And her team made my already beautiful bridesmaids even more beautiful! Kenzie also did my mother’s make up and had me in tears! Even did my brother’s hair (man bun)!! Kenzie and her team even sang along to Lizzo and we had a dance party while getting ready. She truly is incredible and makes you look and feel absolutely bride perfect in your big day! Book her!! -

I'll never forget how beautiful I looked and felt on my wedding day. Both my hair and makeup were done by Kensie and Company (along with my bridesmaids, MOB and niece) True professional! My husband is not a fan of heavy makeup and worried I'd overdo it on our wedding day, but he still talks about how beautiful I looked and I sometimes catch him staring at my picture on the wall. (Same one posted here) That's all that mattered to me. I'll absolutely be using her again for as long as she'll let me! -

My hair and make up lasted all day despite the fact that it rained the whole day on my wedding day. Everything was perfect and I felt so beautiful. -

Catherine Sent on 01/29/2018Kenzie was so wonderful to work with. She was very professional, prompt, calm, and friendly. Kenzie was able to create the perfect bridal look. It was important to me to have a classic, elegant, yet simple look on my wedding day. My up-do actually turned out better than the picture I showed her. The airbrush makeup was flawless and still natural looking. She also created the perfect shade of lipstick for me. My mother got a classic, simple up-do which turned out beautifully as well. I really enjoyed working with Kenzie and will definitely recommend her to my friends!

I dont know how they have 5 stars... Unfortunately I booked with Kenzie & co. based off of all the great reviews. However that was not my experience at all.
I booked and sent my deposit in July to Kenzie, for my December Wedding. All seemed to be fine and I was in some communication with the scheduling lady to figure out the numbers and times, etc. They base their timing on your desired finish time - so we agreed that Kenzie would arrive at 8:30 and be done by 1:30 with my hair & bridesmaids hair/makeup.
About a week before my wedding day I reached out to confirm the time and to send the address. At this point the scheduling lady told me that Kenzie had a scheduling conflict and would be sending 2 replacements in her absence. I started to panic, but figured they would work with me. With 2 artists, we would finish much earlier so I asked if they could arrive later so that we could still be done at the desired stop time (1:30). We all know as a bride you want to be ready as close to your picture times as possible so your hair doesnt fall and makeup doesnt mess up. They responded and said the 2 artists could not do that because they had another wedding later that day but they would be with us to complete everyone from 830 - 1130. I was not happy with this so I asked what happened to Kenzie and they told me another brides venue and time changed so she could no longer do both. This was upsetting because now I was last priority on both Kenzies mind, and her 2 replacements. Unfortunately, I didnt have another choice because my wedding was 5 days away at this point. They refunded my deposit for the "inconvenience."
Things only got worse, and honestly the morning of my wedding was a nightmare. The 2 replacements arrived at 830 and wanted to get started right away. I told them the schedule, and that my mother in law and sister in law would be a little late, but it would be fine because they would be there by 10 and there would still be time to complete them. The 2 artists then tell me that they are leaving at 945 and if they werent at the house, they were leaving. Everything went downhill from here and I will spare the worst details. My sisters were on the phone with Kenzie all morning, who did nothing to help the situation, and said the 2 agreed to stay til 1130 so there was nothing she could do. The 2 artists said they had another wedding 3 hours away and had to leave by 10 and Kenzie never told them a stop time. Kenzie said they were not telling the truth. The 2 rushed through everyones hair and makeup (it turned out nice but it was the opposite of relaxing - it was rushed, with hair being pulled, heads yanked, and no consideration for what the girls even wanted with their makeup). I was crying and stressed most of the morning. They rushed my mother in law to the house and did her makeup in about 5 minutes and were out of our house around 1030.
We were quoted and paid for each bridesmaid to have 30 minutes, and for my hair an hour. Instead everyones hair and makeup was done in about 15 minutes, and mine in about 20-25.
After the fact, Kenzie and Co. has refused to take any liability or responsibility and proceeds to place the blame on the 2 contractors she sent. However, I signed a contract with Kenzie & Co. so she is fully responsible for the nightmare and anguish I experienced that morning. I would not recommend Kenzie & Co. to anyone. This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a company. Please, beware, and know what you are getting into before you make this decision for your wedding day.
