    Incredible String Quartet!

    The Kennedy String Quartet was an absolute highlight of our wedding cocktail hour and our reception. Their performance was nothing short of incredible—I was completely blown away. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the music was.

    A special shoutout to Gavon who was so helpful and attentive in the lead-up to our big day. He made sure that all of our music requests were taken care of and ensured that everything went smoothly. The booking process was also incredibly easy, and they have such a diverse and extensive catalog to choose from. The entire experience was seamless, and it was exactly what we envisioned. I highly recommend the Kennedy String Quartet for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance and sophistication to their event - even if you're like us and you want that touch to be mostly Hip Hop and R&B - KSQ is the one for you!

    Beautiful addition to our day!

    We are so grateful we had Kennedy Strings as a part of our day! I had dreamed of having strings at my wedding and they were one of my favorite parts of the day! They added so much beauty and elegance to our ceremony and cocktail hour and the guests raved about the music. I had a friend who was a singer and I wanted her to sing a song and they coordinated and rehearsed with her as well.

    They have hundreds of songs in their repertoire and it was so great to hear some of our favorite popular tunes on strings! My fiancé loves getting to hear some of his favorite anime covers played!

    I would recommend them to anyone who wants to add some elegance to their day! They were east to work with and I am so glad we had them!

    Wonderful Duo

    We ended up doing a duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Ross the manager was very easy to work with. We booked them extremely last minute and our guest really enjoyed them

    A Wonderful Experience!

    I’m so happy we found the Kennedy String Quartet for our Sept wedding! Ross coordinated easily with our wedding planning team and venue. On the big day, the members of our quartet were friendly, professional, and VERY talented. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the live music, and how fun it was that they could play so many pop songs. We booked the quartet for our entire reception, including cocktail hour, sit down meal, first dance, etc. Again, the musicians were very friendly, followed all COVID protocol, and seemed to really enjoy being part of our wedding day. Thank you!

    Beautiful Music

    I had booked Kennedy String Quartet to play at my wedding and they were absolutely wonderful! They had played exactly what I had requested and my guests really enjoyed listening to them during the ceremony/cocktail hour. They had made my wedding feel very magical and beautiful during these uncertain times.

    Kennedy String Quartet were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were flexible and paid attention to all the special songs for our special day! You will not be disappointed by their professionalism, repertoire and also - they are all just super sweet!!

    Just lovely music, with complements all around

    So many people complemented the music after the ceremony. The music was perfectly poignant, and filled the church with such love and happiness! Thank you Kennedy String Quarter for bringing our vision to life!

    Easy, professional, and incredibly enjoyable!

    The Kennedy String Quartet made our wedding feel incredibly personal and unique. They were super easy to work with, very responsive, and incredibly professional. And, they even treated my new husband and me to a private concert after all our wedding guests left our ceremony room. They really added a lot to our wedding and I would absolutely recommend them!

    Kennedy String Quartet provided music for my ceremony and cocktail hour. They were amazing! They have such a HUGE collection and range of music to choose from. Our guests could not stop talking about the music during our cocktail hour. Thanks again for making our day special!

    We had The Kennedy Center Quartet at our engagement party and were so pleased with their services. I was looking for a quartet who could play upbeat cover songs as well some of the classics and they exceeded my expectations. They are extremely professional and talented. They have an extensive song list to choose from which I did not find in other quartets I looked at. We sent them a list of songs we'd like to hear during our party and they played all of them. Our guests really enjoyed it and the quality of their sound was perfect. I would definitely recommend them!

    From start to finish, it was an easy process working with Ross and the Kennedy String Quartet. They had played for our wedding at the Peabody Library in Baltimore, for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Both my wife and I remember getting chills walking in during the processional. The song selection we were able to choose from for the cocktail hour was a great variety and they were even able to play a couple of Bollywood songs! The guests loved it and kept on talking about how having the string quartet was a beautiful added touch. We would both highly recommend the Kennedy String Quartet without hesitation! Wish we could have had them play for longer!

    They were great! They played classical music during our ceremony and modern pop songs during our cocktail hour. They were reliable, easy to contact and fun! The music sounded great and everyone liked them!

    We hired KSQ for our daughters wedding which was outdoors in Old Town Alexandria 6/24. Russ was incredibly responsive in helping with music selections for the ceremony and sending a list for the reception. They arrived on time and the music was beautiful. We got so many compliments and guests loved the variety ranging from classical to songs from the 40s to the present. We would definitely recomend them

    Having a string quartet play at my wedding has always been a dream of mine. I'm so glad we decided to hire the kennedy quartet. They played beautiful classical music as our guests arrived for the ceremony. Our favorite moment was our recessional to the Game of Thrones theme song- it is one of our favorite shows and we felt like royalty as we exited the ceremony. The quartet played a variety of our favorite pop songs for the cocktail hour and it set the uplifting mood for the rest of the night. They were a joy to work with and I would highly recommend them for any event!

    We wanted a quartet that could do a string rendition of a slightly niche song (Sigur Ros's 'Hoppipola') for our ceremony, and Kennedy String Quarter totally took the challenge! Ross was extremely responsive and professional during all of our exchanges. He sent me a list of songs they typically do and their range accommodates all styles from classic to contemporary. Our guests loved the classy yet casual atmosphere! GREAT vendor for any event!

    KSQ was a fantastic choice for our wedding! This group is HIGH energy with a fantastic range of music that made our ceremony and reception memorable (for all the right reasons!). I booked them without having heard anything but the two samples that were on the website and while I was nervous up to the wedding, they were absolutely perfect in every single way! These four folks are going places! They also worked hard to accommodate all our special requests!

    We held a corporate event and selected Kennedy Quartet to play at our event. They were excellent, I would highly recommend them for any event. Everything went really well and they were a much needed addition to the evening. Several attendees mentioned that they really enjoyed the music. They were professional, arrived on time, played very well, and were worth every penny (in case you were wondering, they are very competitively priced for the area). Thanks so much!

    The Kennedy String Quartet was superb. They played a wide range of music pre-wedding ceremony and at the cocktail, from classical to jazz, and all with great talent and real personality. Easy to work with, dependable, a real delight!

    From the initial moment I contacted Kennedy Quartet to the very end when they played at our outdoor wedding the group was professional and helpful. Ross kept the process moving throughout by giving us song suggestions and making of aware of the format the day of the wedding. During the wedding and cocktail hour the group played songs from our list and other songs that were very complementary. I wish we had the group for the entire wedding. Just awesome, beautiful music!!! I even had my window open as I was preparing so I could hear the group play. The only negative is that I didn’t have time to walk over and give each of you a high five and a hug for making my day awesome.

    I will be using Kennedy Quartet again in the near future! Thanks to each of you again.
