Kendra was amazing throughout our entire process. We actually reached out to Kendra after being scammed by a different photographer. We were out about $1400 which sucked but we were glad we found out before the actual wedding. We met with Kendra and we explained our situation and expected nothing but she was kind enough to offer a discount because of the situation. She then stuck out the long engagement and made it to the day of the wedding. My wife spent more time with her since I took longer to get ready lol My wife said she did not feel nervous at all until Kendra left to get me for our first look, that's how calming of a presence she is. She ate with our guests and danced on the dance floor. She was an absolute joy and the perfect person for our perfect day. -

Magical Mementos
The first thing I heard when I began wedding planning is that investing in quality photography will always be worth it. Your photos are the best memento to have once your wedding day has come and gone. Choosing Kendra to capture the magic and love of our wedding day was the best choice I could’ve made. From the beginning, she made us feel confident in our choice and communicated with us through every step.
My wedding day was quite stressful, but the moments when Kendra pulled my partner and I aside for photos were the most peaceful and intimate moments of the day. she allowed us to be ourselves and to indulge in a few quiet moments together before returning to the chaos. After the wedding I was feeling a bit sad because I felt that I hadn’t really enjoyed the day. However, when we received our photos I was overwhelmed with joy. Kendra perfectly captured all the tender moments and the love and joy that surrounded us. She helped me gain a new perspective.
I’d absolutely recommend Kendra to anyone looking for a quality photographer with a unique style and vision. -

Kendra is Amazing! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is so kind and makes you feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Leading up to our elopement she was always communicating with us to help prepare our special day and make sure we were organized. She captured all of our special moments. When I got my photos back it was like I was reliving my favorite day all over again through her photos. I cannot thank you enough for capturing our special moments that we will forever cherish. -

Kendra was so helpful in preparing for our wedding in addition to taking phenomenal photos of us and our guests to capture memories. Kendra helped us think through our timeline and photo location options. We were originally concerned with taking photos at night after our ceremony but the photos we took outside turned out amazing and are some of our favorites! In addition to wonderful posed photos, Kendra did such a good job of capturing moments that we had with each other, with our guests, and that our guests had with one another. We also got to work with Trenton on videography and loved his approach to using interviews with us and our guests to make the video more than just a typical wedding video, but something that really captures our relationship with one another and our guests. -

From the beginning planning stages to the execution Kendra was a saint! She is so knowledgeable and helped ease any worries I had. On the day of our elopement, weather was less than ideal. She was so patient and laid back, and truly captured the looks and moments I wanted to cherish, and more! -

Spectacular
Kendra was amazing to work with. First, she met with my sister and I to plan out the timeline of the wedding. She was incredibly receptive to ideas that we had and she was able to help us plan the day to make it all happen. On the day of, even when I was still being seen into my dress, she was sure to keep everything on time and keep us at ease. She is such a sweet soul and she made people who don’t like their photographs taken comfortable. Everyone was extremely pleased with the photographs she took. She is 1000% worth it. -

Before we decided to hire Kendra as our photographer, we didn’t know what kind of wedding we wanted to have or what our style was going to be. We had spent a lot of time going through potential photographers in the Louisville area trying to find one that had a portfolio we liked and that was within our price range. After finding Kendra on The Knot and exchanging some e-mails with her, I knew that she would be a great fit for us! Both my now husband and I are not big with picture-taking, but Kendra made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and got us out of our shells within minutes.
Something that was really amazing about working with her was her willingness and ability to be flexible with us. Our wedding plans changed probably three times during the course that we were working with her, and each time she was very understanding and open to what we had in mind. I am so grateful that we had someone that was on our side during a very stressful (but exciting) time in our lives.
We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos done by Kendra, and each time I was in awe at how great they turned out! She was able to supply us with our sneak-peeks within a short amount of time for both occasions and it was so much fun to show family and friends; literally everyone we knew kept saying how great our photographer was! Having great pictures of our big day was very important to me, and I’m so glad we made the room in our budget for quality, yet affordable photography and customer service.
If we hadn’t moved to North Carolina shortly after our wedding, I would have absolutely continued to use Kendra for our photograph sessions in the future. Definitely take your time to look at her portfolio and talk to her; you will not be disappointed!

We could not have asked for a better group of people to help capture our special day! From the very first time we met Kendra and Trent (out at sea on a whale voyage!) we knew they were the ones! We have a very large, non-traditional family and attendees at the wedding ranging from 3 to 86 years old from all over the country. They were able to capture the most amazing moments and were so non-invasive and laid back. They even got out on the dance floor and stayed for a few extra songs! Thank you! if I could give 6 stars I would!! -

We had a wonderful experience with Kendra and Trent. We hired them to photograph our wedding. They were an incredible team -- capturing the mood of the day (as rain clouds swept across the sky). We loved how they captured the joy and fun of our big families. We were nervous about planning a wedding out-of-state, but Kendra was easy to communicate with and very detailed. We are so happy! Highly recommend! -

Kendra was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for! She was so friendly and chill in our initial conversations and planning sessions, and so receptive to what we hoped to get out of our photographs. Kendra was absolutely perfect on the day of our wedding, a small (~20 people) ceremony at a BNB in the country. She was as easy to get along with in person as on our phone calls and blended in so naturally with our family and friends. She had great instincts for following our vague instructions, but then getting us to try different approaches for the pictures that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. She took pictures using a variety of cameras and formats (digital, analog film, instant polaroid pictures, black and white, color), which was super cool, and the end results were perfect. Kendra so beautifully captured so many different moments and facets of the day. We will cherish her pictures always. We cannot recommend her services strongly enough. -

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Kendra! She's was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We had no idea how to discuss what we wanted from our wedding photographer, and she made it very easy. She managed the location and all the details as well. We ended up with beautiful pictures afterwards. She was also LGBTQ-friendly. Highly recommend! -

I have had the BEST experience with Kendra Farris Photography as our photographer for our wedding! Kendra is such a fun laid back personality. I am not big on having my photo taken but Kendra was amazing at making me feel at ease in front of the camera. I knew my husband and I did not want the “staged” look of photos. We wanted a more personal look on the images. Kendra did not disappoint! I fell in love with Kendra’s work so much that I have now done engagement photos, headshots, boudoir photos, and pet mini sessions including the wedding. I am so happy how all of her images have come out and will continue to use her for future needs. Thank you for everything Kendra, you surely deliver top notch! :) -

We had a wonderful experience with Kendra. Her online contact form was simple and easy to fill out. She offered to do a video consultation with us, which was especially helpful since we live out of town and couldn't meet her personally. She was also super flexible with us when we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. Overall, Kendra is a genuinely kind person and she made me feel so comfortable on my wedding day. Working with her was a breeze, and I'm so grateful to her and her husband for working with us and making our day so special. Not to mention, the photos are absolutely beautiful! She captured all of our favorite moments. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. -

Amazing quality photos, fabulous overall experience!
I can't speak highly enough of Kendra!! We are BEYOND happy that we hired Kendra and Trent to photograph our wedding. When looking through our wedding album, we were able to relive so many moments throughout the day, because of their attention to detail and ability to capture raw, authentic emotions! The quality and clarity of her photos is excellent.
Kendra was extremely easy to work with, and very organized throughout the entire process. She was also quick to respond and easy to get in contact with. Kendra made us feel comfortable when being photographed, and helped keep us calm during the stress and excitement of the wedding day.

Words cannot even begin to explain how blessed we feel to have had Kendra as our wedding photographer. My husband and I got married in 2020 and had to plan and re-plan over three times. Kendra was not our original photographer (we tried but she was already booked,) but once we changed our date we checked with her immediately. She, knowing we lost some in deposits, worked with us to come up with a personalized package close to what we had with our original photographer. She was so sweet and understanding and available to chat and talk things through whenever I needed her. We ended up having a very small ceremony with “reception” at my parents’ house and she talked through everything with me, made my timeline for me and helped me envision the day. She absolutely saved my wedding. The pictures are everything I could have ever imagined and more as well. I love that she captures the raw moments and emotions and does not over-filter or edit the photos as some photographers nowadays seem to do. Her turnaround time was crazy impressive too. Oh, her husband Trent even videotaped our ceremony for a very reasonable price. He also took some amazing pictures of the groomsmen getting ready and dealt with all their shenanigans like a champ!! The video was amazing as well – not that we expected anything less 😊 -

Finding the right photographer was my #1 priority, once I heard of Kendra's work through family and researched her quality of work for myself there was no doubt in my mind that she was the one.
She was flexible and patient with us beyond my expectations,
and her quick communication was professional.
What I loved most about her work during the wedding itself was how attentive she was to every precious detail, and how at peace she made me feel with no worries or fear that anything would be missed or left out.
I was in tears the moment I saw our photos because I was blown away at the beautiful moments she captured with such ease.
Kendra Farris Photography went above and beyond in every way for us and I would highly recommend her over and over again!

I must start off by saying 5 stars just simply isn't enough!!!! Kendra and Trent went far beyond our expectations. When we started to research wedding photographers we were looking for photographers who would capture authentic and genuine moments. We are definitely that couple who repeatedly forgets to take pictures anytime we are out, so we really wanted to be thorough when choosing our wedding photographers. As soon as we saw their work we knew immediately they were the photographers for us. Needless to say we were ecstatic to hear our date was still available and we booked almost immediately. Of course we were a little nervous and worried our awkwardness would shine through the morning of our engagement session. But within minutes Kendra's warm and friendly personality allowed all of our nervous energy to completely dissolve. We were blown away with our photos. They turned out even better than we imagined. After seeing our engagement photos we knew our wedding photos were going to be beautiful. Once again...they turned out STUNNING! We loved looking through our gallery as newlyweds (laughing and smiling as we remembered those exact moments throughout the day). Kendra and Trent were always punctual and kept open communication throughout the entire process. Not only did they capture amazing memories for us but Kendra also took time out of her day to send me other vendor referrals (of which we hired as well for our wedding). They helped keep our wedding/reception running on schedule and coordinated with our other vendors so everyone was on the same page. Every aspect of our experience working with Kendra and Trent was incredible. We were so impressed and think they are amazing photographers and equally amazing people. We hope to continue to have Kendra and Trent in our lives and we are excited to see which memory or milestone they capture next.

Kendra was the first photographer that I met with when I was was looking around for my wedding and I knew immediately that I had found the right one. She was personable, knowledgeable, and automatically felt like a friend. She spent time during our engagement session making my husband and I feel comfortable (which was a great feat because we’re pretty awkward in front of a camera) and getting to know us personally. I’m pretty sure she didn’t take a bad photo the whole session! We were lucky enough that Kendra and Trent found each other during our long engagement, so we got them both for our wedding. And what a great team they are. They made our entire day run smoothly with the perfect amount of direction, but still letting my hubby and I have enough space. They were always punctual, professional, and a delight to work with. Of course our photos were absolutely stunning! To say I am obsessed with them would be an understatement. I would absolutely refer Trent and Kendra to any and all of my friends- in fact they went on to be the photographers for my maid of honor’s wedding as well! If you need a photographer, look no further, Trent and Kendra are your people! We will continue to use them for our families photography needs for years to come. -

Our wedding photography dreams come true!
When my husband and I started thinking about what we wanted from our wedding photographers the word “candid” kept coming to mind. We wanted to capture those small fleeting moments of the day - a smile here, a look there. We also wanted to develop a relationship with our photographers - they play such an important role in your big day! Trent & Kendra went above and beyond delivering exactly what we hoped and dreamed our wedding photography experience would be. We appreciated the opportunity to meet Trent & Kendra over coffee to learn more about them and their portfolio. After lots of stories and laughs later we felt so energized and excited knowing we would be in great hands with Trent & Kendra as our photography (and videography) team. They are the perfect blend of talented, professional, supportive and fun. They not only were efficient and timely in responding to emails and requests during the planning process but also took the time to provide thoughtful and thorough answers so that we could feel completely at ease and confident in their ability to deliver high-quality, stunning images of our day. We loved the fact that the engagement session was included in the wedding package - it was the perfect opportunity to get a feel for how they work and for us to get to know each other better before the wedding day. Trent & Kendra and their second shooter Hannah brought immensely positive and fun-loving energy to the wedding day itself. They fit in easily with our family and friends, feeling like an extension of the wedding party. They perfectly balanced being present and subtle when they needed to be, and we were impressed with how they managed wrangling over 50 family members with grace, efficiency and professionalism. We even finished family photos during cocktail hour early enough that my husband and I were able to have a few minutes of alone time before the reception to let it all sink in. They were also incredibly kind and collaborative with our day-of coordinators and other vendors. We felt very grateful that all of our vendors got along so well. Trent & Kendra were able to capture absolutely stunning photographs and caught unique and special moments shared between us, our family and our friends - moments that we’ll be able to look back on and cherish for years to come. We also now have two wonderful new friends in Trent & Kendra. I’ve even already worked with Kendra again to take some professional headshots! My fiancé and I planned our small house wedding in two weeks, and as soon as we knew we were getting married I contacted Trent and Kendra Photography. I loved that their work wasn’t too light, trendy, or moody. I knew that their pictures captured the essence of a wedding day in a beautiful and realistic way. They answered our enquiry quickly, and we felt so lucky that they were available! From our first meeting at a coffee shop, they were easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable taking pictures. When we saw our pictures, we were thrilled with the way they captured our intimate wedding! Kendra did such a wonderful job capturing my spouse and myself in our element for our in-home anniversary session. We're two of the most awkward people in front of the camera and she made both of us feel at ease. She didn't force us into overly cutesy poses, but rather fed off our energy and brought more of that out. As a photographer, I was especially impressed with her composition and how she used the light in our space - it can be challenging sometimes with our high windows/dark walls, but she totally nailed it. -

Working with kendra has been an awesome experience!! She is always extremely prompt at responding to any question or inquiry, she delivers finished work rapidly, and she is just the sweetest person in the world. Kendra just did my boudoir shoot a couple weeks ago and my photos were absolutely stunning! I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Trent yet, but I’m so thankful I have them booked for my wedding and can’t wait to see the pictures!! -

When couples look for wedding photographers, they normally base their decisions upon who they think will best capture one of the most significant moments in their lives. However, after having Kendra and Trent as our photographers, we soon learned that they not only beautifully captured our wedding, but also proved to be a cherished part of the wedding experience itself. From our first meeting until receiving our wedding gallery, Kendra and Trent were not only professional and accommodating, but equally supportive and fun. Leading up to the wedding day, they were unbelievably flexible, even going to the extent of taking our engagement photos just a few days before their own wedding. They also provided great recommendations to other wedding vendors and services. The day of the wedding, they balanced being discrete yet present whenever we needed them. Moreover, as a bride, there were so many aspects of that day which I missed in the flood of the moment that I would have never seen if not for Kendra and Trent’s attention to detail in their photos. I highly recommend these two people for your wedding photographers if you not only wish to capture your day in stunning ways, but also wish to enhance and enjoy the experience itself. You will likely not only be happy to have them as photographers, but also as friends long after your wedding day. -
