We loved working with Kendra for our wedding! She was so kind and welcoming all throughout the booking process and discussions of what we wanted for our day. On our wedding day, she was EXCELLENT! Neither my husband nor I are particularly comfortable in front of the camera and Kendra guided us the whole way and made us feel at ease. I would highly recommend Kendra for any wedding, but especially in Sun Valley. She knew all of the great spots to get photos and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We feel so lucky to have had Kendra photograph our wedding. Not only are the photographs each individual works of art, but they capture the essence of our day so beautifully that we feel transported back to the special moments whenever we look at them.
Kendra has a fantastic eye for light and catches all those important moments. It was a joy to work with on every level. She is kind and helpful and just has a remarkably calming personality (which you need on such a big day!!). When an unexpected travel delay meant that she was going to be held up an hour, she had not one but two backup photographers on site before we even knew to be worried about anything. That level of care and professionalism is just not something you’ll find across the wedding industry and I couldn’t recommend Kendra higher. Book her!!! Her photos will be heirlooms for you and your loved ones for years to come.

The Cream of the Crop in Wedding Photography
Kendra is perfection! She's the best vendor choice I made for our special day! She is everywhere but virtually undetectable at the same time! She was right there for me when I needed to get into my wedding dress and literally zipped me into it. She saved the day for me. I think she's absolutely brilliant as a photographer, and cannot wait to see all of my photos from the wedding day (five days ago as of this writing). I considered MANY photographers. Kendra was not only great leading up to the wedding (she helped scope out two spots to help us decide how to craft the timing of our wedding day) but was JUST the vendor I needed on my wedding day. she is calm and balanced but is definitely in charge and helps make the day run smoothly. She helped calm nerves as well as orchestrate the pictures and moments she knew meant a lot to me. She is a genuine and all around great person in addition to her talented eye for photography! I wish I had asked for more film photography those were some of my favorites! The team she brought was also great and they balanced each other well. Lastly I would say she also worked very well with our photographer and other venues. Hire Kendra! You won’t regret it.

We love Kendra!
Kendra is AMAZING in every way. To start, she was incredibly communicative and responsive, always answering my questions and concerns right away. Leading up to the wedding, she was super organized, making sure she was up to date on the timeline, our ceremony and reception, and what photos we wanted. On the day of, she was flexible, upbeat, and the best part - I barely even noticed she was there. The photos she took are breathtaking and she captured not only the big, important moments, but all the sweet, small moments that you miss as the bride and groom. Another thing? She was FAST! Normally, group photos take forever, but she managed to "herd the cats" and it was honestly really impressive watching her navigate and corral our huge, disorganized family. Everyone was thankful to get the family photos done quickly so that we could enjoy the party! Apart from being an A+ photographer and business owner, she is an A+ human. Incredibly kind, sweet, patient, thoughtful and helpful. I would recommend her 10/10. Love this girl!

Kendra is one of the kindest people we have worked with. Like many weddings, we postponed our wedding a year due to covid and she allowed us to move our date without any fees or fuss. Kendra was absolutely amazing to work with! She did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and she made us feel so comfortable throughout the process (and we’re pretty awkward with pictures!) I felt like she truly cared about us and we weren’t just “another couple.” Her presence on the day of our wedding made me feel so calm all day and the photos turned out AMAZING! We hired Kendra for our wedding in 2020. Then when COVID hit and we had to postpone she was such a dream. She was responsive and flexible and made the headache of postponing that much easier. When the big day did finally come she absolutely blew our expectations out of the water! She managed to capture our day just how we had hoped. She was fun and easy to work with. We booked Kendra for our engagement photos after looking online for photographers. We really wanted to shoot our engagement pictures in California, so she flew into Cali just to help us have our dream engagement photo shoot. Kendra was so sweet and easy to work with. Kendra was amazing and quite literally saved the day when my original photographer got pneumonia the day of my wedding. Kendra was insanely flexible and accommodating and drove 3 hours to make sure I had a photographer. She did an incredible job with the photos and everyone raved about how beautiful they were! Most amazing photographer ever!
I found Kendra after seeing her photos featured on a wedding story in Rocky Mountain Bride and instantly knew she was THE photographer for our wedding. Kendra quickly adapted to changes in our wedding plans due to COVID-19 and was there for us every step of the way. We had an intimate garden wedding in Sun Valley, ID and she captured the day so beautifully. She took all the shots I had requested and quickly gathered up guests for group photos so we could get back to enjoying the reception with our families and friends. She even drove us offsite to a nearby train trestle that was an ideal setting for that perfect shot. Kendra is an amazing photographer and person to work with! We had to postpone our formal wedding this year given the circumstances and thankfully Kendra was available to capture our small ceremony and reception with only a few weeks notice. Not only did she take incredible photos of our mini wedding, but she made us feel so comfortable with all of her positive guidance for posing together and answering our last minute questions. She also saved the day by helping us to find a florist in Boise and offered to bring up all of the flowers in her car so we didn't have to worry about delivery and they turned out to be stunning. Kendra is an outstanding photographer and even better human being! We had the pleasure of meeting Kendra and having her take our engagement photos in October 2019. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (not something that comes naturally to me!) and the photos turned out AMAZING! Due to COVID, we had to cancel our Sun Valley wedding and opted for a small elopement closer to home in San Diego. Kendra was understanding and supportive. She went above and beyond to organize an amazing associate photographer to shoot our day and then she did the edits. We are thrilled with our photos and can't thank her enough! When I cancelled my wedding, I had to work with a lot of vendors to adjust contracts and try and receive deposits back. Many were difficult to work with and quite unfair. Kendra was the opposite! Wonderful Photographer!
Kendra was there to make quarantine law school graduation one to never forget! Not only was she such a joy to be around, but she took the most beautiful photos that I will cherish forever! She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. We weren't rushed during the session whatsoever and the photos came back incredibly quickly!! I'm so glad Kendra was part of that day!

Captured every moment perfectly!
Kendra made my wedding so amazing! I never knew I could have such an easy photography experience. I absolutely loved her! My photos were stunning and I never felt stressed during the day. She was able to capture all of the in between moments that were my favorites! She went with the flow and knew that I wanted my intimate wedding to stay intimate. Hiring her was the best thing I did for my wedding!

Like heaven
She was wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end! Our venue was canceled due to the Covid-19 and she was there every step of the way. From suggestions, ideas and price this girl was the whole package. Super out-going, friendly and sweet! She sent us our photos 2 weeks before the date she was planning to, they were beautiful. Every detail and color was perfect. I truly think she was sent from heaven because she’s just that amazing! ❤️ Thank you SO SO much Kendra. We are very happy with everything 🥰❤️

A true gem
Kendra was amazing! Not only did she get the exact vibe we were going for, but she was able to keep our families in check and moving along. Kendra had the best energy the whole day, making us both feel so comfortable. Communicating with her was so easy, she was available for every question or idea I had along the way. On top of that, the pictures came so quickly and were stunning! Not only is her work professional and detail oriented, but her heart is truly in it. I cannot recommend her enough!

Gorgeous photos, talented photographer!
With an artful eye and plenty of skill, Kendra went above and beyond our expectations as our wedding photographer. She is very professional, talented, and sweet but also extremely dialed. With hair & makeup running behind schedule on our wedding day, she remained flexible and improvised ways to take gorgeous photos, all the while helping keep my husband and I calm and confident. She even did extra little things she didn’t have to like help my Mom put flowers in my hair! She was kind, positive, encouraging, and efficient with family and bridal party photos. Throughout the evening, Kendra pulled my husband I away for some alone time and captured phenomenal photos in those quiet moments. As a result of her attention to detail, we have so many stunning and candid photos of our day that we will cherish forever. Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding experience and we are so grateful to Kendra for capturing our special day. We highly recommend hiring Kendra as your wedding photographer!

Gratitude. The sum of our feelings in one, simple word. I I cannot say enough kind words about Kendra. Kendra was such a gift to us on our special day. Her photography is absolutely dreamy. Everything I wanted!
From start to finish, Kendra was awesome! Finding a photographer for my wedding inside of my budget seemed like a daunting task, but she was the only one to ask more questions about what I was looking for. Kendra communicates very effectively; I didn't have to contact her too many times before the wedding but every response was friendly and timely. Out of all the vendors I hired, I had the most ease getting in touch with Kendra. I just received my photos (less than 3 weeks after!!!) and they are gorgeous!!! She captured my wedding day in just the way I wanted and did a fantastic job the day of. She kept us on schedule while making sure to get all of the shots and had us laughing for our photos! I’m so grateful we chose Kendra to take our wedding photos. She is incredible. She followed my shot list to a T and even captured many beautiful candid moments as well. She managed to perfectly capture the essence of the wedding day through her photos. She is kind, funny and knows how to efficiently facilitate the madness that can be getting people through group photos. Kendra’s services are such a great price for what you get in return. The craziest part might be that she delivered our photos to us less than two weeks after the wedding. What?! Who does that?? Kendra does because she’s that good. She tends to fill up so reach out to her ASAP if you want all your wedding and engagement photos dreams to come true!

If I could leave Kendra more stars, I would! The best thing about Kendra, aside from her skill as a photographer, is that she helped make this part of the process incredibly easy and stress-free. She was very communicative and available in the weeks leading up to the wedding. After the ceremony, she was able to manage a large group of people with friendliness and efficiency. Everyone at the wedding commented on how great she was! We had a lot of working parts for photos and everyone was really happy and impressed by her. Highly recommend!

The Ultimate Wedding Hype Woman!
The greatest hype woman there is my husband and I were hollered at all day as Kendra reminded us to keep taking deep breaths and take in the day because WEDDINGS ARE CRAZY!! We never got tired with Kendra guiding us through the whole day keeping our energy and smiles up all day long. She is very directional and knows how to get everyone in line when needed to. There were also moments where I never noticed her yet I got my wedding album back after ONE WEEK and she was indeed everywhere! Our meetings with Kendra were extremely helpful as we got to convey what we wanted and then she geared us towards what was best with her experience. She also went hunting for a first look and wedding party pictures because I had no idea what to look for, and she picked the perfect spot. She even road in the party bus with us to catch some extra shots! Her questionnaire she has you fill out prior to the wedding finalizes every detail and finalizes all your confidence that Kendra Elise has her shit together. We could not have asked for a better photographer who we not only loved for her work but absolutely love as a friend. I would get married to my husband again to hire her again.

Expectations exceeded!
Kendra from the start was completely flexible and understanding with me. She helped me find the right package for what was most important to me in the price range that was smartest for me too. She met with me a couple times, had tons of advice, a blog with more wedding advice, and has TONS of wedding experience. This was so helpful for me since I was doing all of the planning. Come wedding day she was easy to get ahold of, she showed up when we needed her, she worked around everyone at the venue, she found the best picture locations and was so flexible with every obstacle that was thrown in our way; weather, family requests, CHILDREN with very little attention span hahaha you name it! Most of all she took our very camera shy selves and made us feel so comfortable and forget that she was even there and helped make us feel like it was just US in that moment, engulfed in true love with no worries at all!

Calm cool and collected
Kendra was truly a blessing to have on our big day! She has such a calm air about her it helped to keep me focused and calm so I could thoroughly soak up the beauty of the day. Kendra found the most romantic area (away from the hustle and bustle of everyone else prepping for the evening)for our first look and Jon and I were both in tears. It was so magical. She was efficient, kind, encouraging, and fun for our many formals. She knew when the perfect time was to get some golden hour shots. That was my favorite part of the evening breaking away from the party and enjoying the most gorgeous sunset with my husband... ah so wonderful!

KENDRA IS AMAZING!!! You definitely won't be disappointed hiring her to photograph your big day! She not only took photos of our wedding day, but she also made a Super 8 Video for us :) Look into adding that to your package! Beautiful timeless video you'll cherish forever. Kendra is a dream to work with. From our first meeting a year ago we were captivated by her work. We were really interested in the film aspect of photography with the emphasis placed on quality rather than quantity. In the months leading up to our big day, she continued to deliver with her promptness in getting back to us, her knowledge, and kind genuine down to earth personality. We were lucky enough to have Kendra take both our engagement and day of photographs. She was able to make two camera shy people feel like her old friends and comfortable in front of the lens without feeling stiff or posed. I remember in one of first meetings with Kendra she explained that she aims to have each photo envoke feelings of the day, to literally bring us back to that moment. She certainly delivered on that promise, we look back at each photo capturing a different part of the day and feel as though we are transported back to that warm September afternoon. Working with Kendra was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! Throughout the whole process Kendra was so easy to work with, attentive, and friendly. Kendra was very personable and easy to connect with. On my wedding day, she made me feel like it was her life purpose to make me feel & look beautiful in my photos. Amidst all the chaos of your weeding day, it feels nice that you have someone there to bring out the beauty. Who is not just there as a photographer for hire, but a friend capturing the special moments. Kendra did things she was not asked or contracted to, but just out of the goodness of her heart. She brought me Coconut Water to made sure I stayed hydrated and even stayed later then we have originally laid out in the contract to make sure my send off was captured! She is a sweetheart and even though the photography was the biggest bill of the wedding budget, it was worth every penny, even my husband agrees. The finished product is absolutely stunning.

We have over 50 prints hanging in various family members home, a few giant frames, and I look through these at least once a day, and change my Facebook photo about a million times a month. I cannot imagine a better fit for our perfect midwestern day than to have this lady fly out and join us. If I could give her 15 stars, I would! She was so accommodating, kind, fun, and SO chill. My family still talks about how much they LOVED my photographer - even extended family, saying they never felt like she was even there during some moments but yet she captured them so perfectly. And for me, the bride, it always felt like she was there - in the very best way. She was my friend that day and I hope always! I knew from the beginning that photographs were going to be the most important thing for me when it came to my wedding, so I spent weeks searching and fell in love with Kendra's work. We met up and I felt like we clicked right away. She made me feel so comfortable, was so great at directing people on camera to get a good shot, and brought an overall feeling of calmness to the day that I definitely needed. She captured so much (and I had a huge wedding of 300+ people). The pictures are so beautiful, genuine and perfectly capture the emotions of the day and the fun of the reception. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Kendra Elise Photography! I was referred by another photographer and could not be more grateful. After investing so much time in the overall design of my wedding, I was particularly impressed with how Kendra captured all of the details so perfectly. My husband and I received our photos quickly after the wedding and were seriously blown away by the quality of Kendra's work. She is extremely talented and has such a unique, artistic eye with film which is what we were looking for in a photographer. We feel very lucky to have worked with her and can't wait to find a reason to schedule another shoot in the future. She is also an incredible person in general - easy-going and fun, while being professional and going above and beyond to get the job done. Absolutely loved my experience working with Kendra!!

Kendra Elise is absolutely the BEST!!! My wedding photos were amazing! She made me feel like a princess and was great at wrangling all the family. Her artistic eye will capture your special day in a way you never thought imaginable!
She also did my best friend's wedding in Idaho and her photos were AMAZING! As a part of the wedding party in that wedding, I had the pleasure of working with her twice! Definitely pick Kendra Elise for your wedding!!!

Kendra was so wonderful the entire day. When she was shooting me, she made me feel confident, beautiful and at ease. I've never felt more beautiful. The more I went through her photographs, I was blown away by the narrative she was able to capture through her lens...she is a true artist and we are so grateful that she captured our wedding.

I was the maid of honor so not the bride. Kendra is a true professional with a mastery of both the lens and the understanding of what looks good in a photo. That in and of itself is extraordinary, but she goes several steps further in that she is incredibly personable and friendly. Ordering your photos through her company is a breeze with prompt shipping. It's more like having a long lost friend who has exceptional attention to personal details come to take amazing photos and you will feel at ease as she captures your special day.

I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with having Kendra capture our wedding. From the start, she was nothing short of amazing! I knew of her work via Instagram so I wasn't worried about the quality of photographs we'd receive. From the moment she arrived, she was more a part of the friend/family party than a hired photographer, as she offered to help or contribute in any way she could. I'm grateful for her willingness to help where needed and even being thoughtful of things that we didn't even consider (e.g. holding keys, bouquets, dogs or phones during photos). By the time she had to depart, I wanted her to stay and spend the rest of the weekend with us! She's incredibly personable and just a warm soul to be with. My husband and I had a blast taking photos with her! I can't wait to have an excuse to fly out to Boise to visit her or hire her again to come out east. Anyone would be silly to pass Kendra up for a photographer—she's worth every penny!

The morning of our wedding was pretty crazy but she showed up and just rolled with it, taking preparation photos when appropriate and seeking out venue details during the in-between moments. My husband and I didn't see each other before the ceremony, so our timeline for photos before the reception was pretty tight. Fortunately, Kendra is a great combination of easy-going and direct. She made everyone feel comfortable, got everyone laughing and at ease, but also told us what to do when needed and kept things moving. We're so happy with our pictures. I told her afterwards that my husband and I can't pose to save our lives, but somehow she managed to capture something intimate and poised. The pictures feel very layered to me, lifelike and textured and rich with color. I recommend her highly.

Kendra is awesome. I had a rainy outdoor wedding and Kendra and Kate (her second shooter) were calm and ready for anything. They are very respectful and fun. We had a great time taking photos in the rain and the woods. I highly recommend both ladies for any event. They have a great eye for detail, lighting and poses. I'm an awkward bride and they made me feel beautiful and comfortable in my photos. Thanks for a great time and gorgeous photos!

Kendra did both my engagement and elopement photos. They are stunning. She is so great to work with, very receptive to ideas and enthusiastic about what she does. She made my husband and myself feel extremely comfortable; like we've been friends for years; for both of our sessions. Her style is unique in that she does not take the typical, pose-y couples photos. She is very engaged in the landscape. She has a great eye for textures. I would highly recommend Kendra to anyone who wants intimate, editorial type shots.

Kendra is an amazing artist! She is super kind and easy going and fast and spontaneous. And did I mention experienced? She was ready to give us lots of time to talk about all things wedding related -- so easy to talk to. Because she checked in on what group portraits and things we wanted before the big day, a timeline was established and I didn't have to think about anything the day of. Our family portraits went easily and quickly and look fantastic; everyone looks so natural and happy. Looking back through my beautiful photos, I keep noticing how Kendra picked up on little details, things I forgot or didn't see. She was also really reassuring and present. I love love all of my photos and I'm inspired to find the prettiest, fanciest frames so that I can keep them as family heirlooms forever.

I had such an amazing experience working with Kendra. From our first meeting in a coffee shop where we connected about our unexpected connection to Idaho to her warm spirit and enthusiasm the day of our wedding. I cannot express enough my gratitude. She was so professional the day of the wedding and able to make everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I have only gotten a sneak peak of our pictures but I have been no doubt that they will be amazing. Love, love, love her and her work! If there were more than five stars, Kendra earned it.

Kendra was an amazing photographer. She made my partner and I feel comfortable and let our actions speak for themselves along with guidance. She captures a natural romance that seems to be floating just above your head and it's visible in every photograph. She has such an eye for light and shading, and will put you in the perfect spot to get you and the landscape in matrimony without cheesy posing. We had fun shooting with her and I felt like we all did a good job but when we received our photographs I was in shock at how beautiful they really were. I had no idea that the love in my relationship could be seen so clearly, and she brought it out. Follow her instagram to get sneak peaks of shoots she's doing to get a real taste for what she is capable of. I highly suggest Kendra, she is so sweet and comforting and full of talent.

We are so happy that we had the opportunity to work with Kendra and her assistant, Kate. They were fantastic! They are so fun and easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable and found amazing backdrops for our photos. Kendra took our engagement photos in addition to our wedding photos and we are so pleased with everything!! She was able to capture details and moments that we were worried that we missed out on. Our final wedding photos exceed our expectations and we are so excited to have a beautiful record of our day!!

Kendra and her assistant, Kate, were amazing to work with. They did our engagement and wedding photos for us.
Both of us are a little camera shy and not used to being in front of a camera but Kendra did such an amazing job at making us feel comfortable and natural. We were so happy that the photos of us look natural and never as if we were forcing an emotion for the picture.
Kendra was punctual, professional and did a great job at getting everyone's attention especially during the large group shots. Everyone kept coming up to us at the wedding and saying they really liked her. Her and Kate organized how we would do our "first look" since we wanted to see each other before the wedding and even when things started to run late they never showed any stress and did a great job at keeping everyone at ease.
We received the photos back very quickly and are completely blown away by how amazing they are. She did such a great job at capturing the small details that we had worked hard on, but also the true emotions that were going on throughout the whole process when people weren't looking. Everything from the "posed" portraits to the candid shots we didn't even know were happening were so incredible.
I would recommend Kendra to any friend and she is worth every penny for the finished product and experience of doing business with her. What a pleasure to have her and her assistant Kate there for our wedding weekend.

Kendra was my dream wedding photographer! She was professional, accommodating, and knew exactly what to do to make a beautiful photograph. Her crew (Kate and Ben) we're fantastic and wonderful and Kate even helped me with my dress and calm me down from (joyful) tears before I went down the aisle. Kendra did her job so well I didn't notice them during the ceremony, but they were there taking pics the whole time. The whole crew fit right in with everyone at the wedding and I got several comments from my family and wedding guests about how awesome they were. Lastly, the photographs are stunning. I couldn't be happier! I am beyond satisfied and I am positive there was no other wedding photographer I could have chosen that could have done a better job. I'm extremely pleased!

Kendra photographed our wedding and did an amazing job. When she showed up, everything was chaotic and she handled everything so well. She also found the perfect spot to take photos. I should also mention that she chooses her staff wisely. Her, Kate, and Ben were all so patient and understanding. More important than anything is that Kendra has an amazing eye and is a true artist, not just someone with a camera. I would recommend her to everyone I know!

Kendra is amazing!! We chose her for our wedding because we loved her style, enjoyed meeting her, and she helped us design a package that was the right price for us. She has a great, easygoing and fun attitude, and is also very professional. She made us (who are pretty camera shy) feel very comfortable during portraits on our wedding day and was fantastic throughout the day. She was also extremely fast at processing the pictures. I ended up with 2 photographers at my wedding--Kendra and another (long story). Kendra's photos are the ones that ended up on my walls because they were so amazing! She does the most incredible work, and because she's been professionally trained (and her natural creative eye, of course) she produces art, not just pictures. Bottom line: There are a zillion self-professed "photographers" out there, but if you want an actual Photographer, call Kendra! She's doing my newborn's photos next :)

Kendra and her assistant photographer Michael did a fantastic job at my wedding. They were both really nice and professional, a great team to work with. From the time we first contacted Kendra to the ending of the wedding reception, she was amazing. Kendra was great at staying in touch over the course of time before the wedding and responsive whenever we had any questions. Her unique style is what drew us to hiring her for our wedding day, using Polaroid and black and white film, she creates a vintage look. Before the wedding day Kendra provided a form to fill out which allowed us to list information about ourselves and preferences on the kinds of pictures we wanted to take. I thought that was really helpful since it gave us guidance on ideas of pictures we should take. We are very happy that we chose Kendra Elise Photography!

Kendra is absolutely amazing!! She answered every email and question within a few hours of me asking. She met with my husband and I awhile before the wedding to get to know us and so that we could get a feel for her, and I instantly liked her. She was very calming and very laid-back, but she also knows what she's doing when it comes to weddings. She was very flexible and really wanted to make the day exactly how we wanted it. The pictures turned out beautiful and she was quick with getting them back to us. She knew how to get things done the day of and kept things moving, but was very polite and kind to all of our family. She added zero stress, just added to and captured the fun. I would absolutely recommend her!

Kendra is a wonderful, sweet, and talented photographer. She's just the type of photographer you need on stressful days like your wedding day.
