Ken and I came up in the business together many years ago, He showed great talent from the moment he started at the studio and progressed to being perhaps one of the premier portrait and wedding photographers in the country. His ability to make people comfortable while working with him is also next to none. All of us get brides like this Rachel, who likely covets bitterness and negativity at every turn. If Ken couldn't accommodate her, no one could. The only thing I could think of that would be worse than having her as a client, would be to be married to her,

I love working with Ken Taylor. He is the easiest, most congenial person to deal with. I first had contact with him for my sister's wedding. I really enjoyed working with him then and saw the beautiful pictures he took. When it was time for my own wedding, I didn't hesitate to contact Ken. He keeps everything moving and upbeat. He was able to corral all our family members and keep them all smiling. We have the engagement photos he took and they were wonderful. He's a little more on the expensive side, but we had determined to spend a larger amount on photos, since they were really important to us. I will definitely be using him again for our family photos.

Ken shot our engagement pictures as well as the wedding. We had a large wedding party and he was great at keeping everyone organized so the pictures didn't take forever. He knew exactly what shots he wanted which kept everything moving along but he also was more than willing to listen to our requests. Ken was professional but at the same time made us feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Ken.

I love Ken! He is great to work with and he took some AMAZING pictures! It is so hard to decide which ones to frame! I would highly reccomend him. His candid shots were our favorite!

I had no major problems with Ken Taylor until after our wedding. My mother hired him and still feels that he did an OK job. I do not. I felt that he was very dishonest. My mother told us that we had rights to the photos, based on the conversation she had with him (contract apparently said otherwise, so Ken must have been misleading in his conversations with my mom.) After the wedding, he tried to charge us an exorbitant amount for personal use rights to the original photos, even though we were already paying him about $10,000 for the photography and expanded wedding book.

My husband and I don't have any good photos of the two of us because Ken has no idea how to photograph a bride. He shot my dress only from the side, although the beauty of the dress was from the front and the back. He always shot me with the bouquet at my waist (covering my waist) when that was the prettiest part of the dress. The photos I have now are only in the photo book because we refused to be blackmailed for the original (crappy) photos he took.

The photo books he has on display look nothing like the pictures he took at my function and engagement shoot, which were absolutely boring and uninteresting. The pictures my friends took were 1,000 times more interesting and beautiful. I'm still so mad about it that I'm writing this review over six years after my wedding. I hope you will find someone who is interesting and creative for your photographer.
