Absolutely amazing!
Kelsey was seriously the best wedding planner! She handled everything so well and stayed calm through it all, no matter how big or small. I would highly recommend Kelsey, for any event!! She is also the sweetest person. I can’t wait to have her help with many parties/events of mine in the future. She makes the vision come to life!-

Kelsey Events is beyond amazing! They did a destination wedding- choose amazing vendors, and didn't miss a detail!! The day of Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding, I didn't worry about a single item...and everything was perfectly planned and delivered. I couldn't stop smiling...very fun, happy events!! Thrilled beyond words! -

Water wedding
I have no words that could describe my wedding. It was MAGICAL!! Ever since I was little I envisioned my wedding and what it would be like... well long story short it was better than anything I dreamed of! I was probably more hands off than most brides. I told what I like and she got a sense of my personality and she ran with it. I’m a big believer of letting people do what they are good at and Kelsey is seriously good at planning weddings! I put my trust in her and she DEFINITELY DELIVERED!! I can’t thank her enough for making my wedding so amazingly special. I would highly recommend her! -

Waterfront wedding at the yacht club!
Kelsey is a top planner! Kelsey transformed the Balboa Yacht Club into a water wonderland. Kelsey’s attention to detail was over the top. Kelsey planed everything from wow invitations to bringing in special carpets, bars, cake and more!! The wedding is still being talked about! Kelsey did an A plus job! Thank you from our family !! -

Kelsey was a phenomenol wedding planner! I selected her partial planning packadge and I must say - it felt like the full planning packadge! She was always responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. I used almost all of her recommendations for decor as well as other vendors - I was never dissapointed. Her help on the day of the wedding was amazing - I never worried about thing, only having fun all night! -

Kelsey and Jackie were lifesavers several times over. Our daughter's Saddlerock, Malibu wedding was complex; our good planning was appreciated and perfectly carried out by Kelsey and Jackie. These girls are skilled; I wouldn't dream of doing this again without them! My day as MOB was magical, thanks to them. They are worth their weight in gold! -

I don't know what I would have done without Kelsey during the wedding planning and on the day off! She was truly a god send. I never at any point during the process felt stressed out or overwhelmed because I had someone remembering all of the little details. Our wedding day was absolutely amazing! All of the details and the decor turned out so much better than I could have even dreamed! The day went off without a hitch and all of our guests had a fantastic time! We actually received numerous comments from guests that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to!
If you are considering having a coordinator for your wedding, I strongly recommend Kelsey or any of the girls at Kelsey Events. Best decision I made while planning my wedding.

We will never be able to thank Kelsey and her team enough. We were referred to Kelsey through a friend who said she had impeccable organizational skills and an individualized approach. We interviewed many wedding coordinators and event planners. We knew quickly that Kelsey was the best of the bunch. We retained Kelsey for “full service” for all three days of our wedding weekend.
Kelsey helped us navigate the overwhelming world of wedding vendors. She found us the best of the best and helped us negotiate prices and contracts in order to ensure we stayed in line with our budget.
Kelsey has incredible taste and style. She was able to understand how to bring all of our many ideas together in a cohesive design. We counted on her to give us her opinion on the things that we had no idea about. She was able to make decisions for us on issues about which we were indifferent (we had never given linens a great deal of thought before our wedding). She was always quick to respond to our millions of questions. Most importantly, we were able to relax because she helped us create lists and timelines during the planning process.
Kelsey is always calm and she handles incredible pressure with a smile on her face. She maintained that throughout our entire wedding weekend. She managed a million details with ease and still found time to come to us and ensure we were completely taken care of. We had heard horror stories from our friends—they advised us to expect that things will go wrong during our wedding. To our surprise, though, everything went perfectly. We had more than 200 guests attending events on three different days. There were more than 60 vendors operating on a 39-acre property. There were a tremendous number of logistical issues and a lot of room for error. Kelsey handled everything. As a result, everything went perfectly. -

If you are on the fence about booking a wedding coordinator, or booking with Kelsey, stop deliberating and absolutely do it! I booked Kelsey and team for my day-of wedding coordination, and am so relieved I did! Jonny and her assistant were incredible, and made our day absolutely perfect! Everything was seamless, and exactly as we discussed. They were incredibly organized, and prepared for anything and everything! There is so much happening the day of your wedding, and the bride and her friends and family shouldn't have to sweat the setup and logistics on such an important day. I can guarantee that you will more than get your money's worth, and that they will do everything they can to make your special day memorable and stress free :) -

Kelsey is a phenomenal wedding coordinator!! My daughter, Michelle, met with Kelsey while she and her fiancé, Marco, were determining what they wanted to include in their wedding. Michelle and Kelsey met numerous times discussing customary traditional wedding ceremony options, as well as other desires, along with the standard necessities that would work best for Michelle and Marco's wishes for their special day. Michelle and Marco were most impressed with Kelsey's presentation and retainer her services. Throughout the setup process of all vendors utilized Kelsey advised Michelle and Marco what would be provided to meet their wishes.
The day of the wedding Kelsey and her support staff were exceptional. The professionalism and incomparable services provided were beyond compare. At every asked, unasked and/or apparent question or issue an answer/or direction was provided by Kelsey and/or her staff. Kelsey even assisted personally with a static cling issued with my dress.
The wedding ceremony and reception were so beautifully exquisite that you had the feeling you were experiencing an event that could only be a fantasy dream. Furthermore, it was a wonderful loving, warm and extraordinary family event that will live delightfully in the minds of those attending for years to come!

I don't know what I would have done without Kelsey!! I used Kelsey from start to finish for my wedding. I really didn't realize how much goes into planning a wedding and I'm so glad I hired Kelsey to help me though the process. Her vendor recommendations are the best in the business!
Kelsey made my vision come to life even more perfectly than I could have dreamed. My wedding turned out absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have done it without her! Kelsey's assistant Jackie was amazing as well. She was right there for anything I needed on my wedding day. I'm so grateful for all of Jackie's help!

Kelsey is very professional and has incredible patients. She also has a eye for colors and themes. She is a true class act.
In the many events we previewed of kelsey's at the Montage and Ritz Carlton she really outdid herself at our wedding at La Quinta. Everything was first class and the event was seamless. La quinta would be well served to recommend her for future events. We loved working with her and her boundless energy, but most of all her amazing ideas. -

Couldn't of asked for a better planner! My (now) husband and I were a mess trying to plan our own wedding. Kelsey jumped in and helped us sort out our madness. Kelsey and her team are very professional and have great communication. I have to say I have seen many stressed out brides and bridesmaids and the craziness that goes on before a wedding starts. My day was nothing like that at all Kelsey and her team made the intire day feel so easy. Our guest were very impressed by their professionalism. Before hiring Kelsey I interviewed with three other wedding planners, Kelsey was so professional in the way she let me talk and tell her my invision of my dream wedding. She took notes the intire time and never once said sorry you can't do that with your budget!! Our wedding was more then I could of imagined, it was my dream. Kelsey is not only my wedding planner but now a friend. I look forward to hiring her for future events. Getting to know her personally you will see that she is not only nice, professional, talented at what she does but is beautiful from the inside out. If I could rate her a 10 out of 5 I would. She was truly that valuable. She is organized, responsibe, insiteful, extremely easy to work with, and her value was apparent everyday of the planning process. We got to know Kelsey over a year and a half and she was always available and willing to email, text, or chat about whatever we were worried about or needed help with. Kelsey also happens to know almost everyone in the wedding industry in the Orange County area where our wedding and reception was held which helped immensely with picking the right vendors for us and ended up saving us a lot of money in the long run.
In short, planning a wedding is a lot of work and Kelsey made it pleasurable and exciting. We love her and we imagine you will too after working with her. I recommend her without reservation. -

Kelsey is worth her weight in gold! She was by far the BEST decision we made in our wedding planning journey. She has endless knowledge and is approachable and professional. Kelsey saved my wedding! I don't know what I was thinking trying to pull off a wedding in our own backyard without a planner. I called her with just a few months left to go, practically in tears because of how overwhelmed I was, and it was the best decision I made during the entire process.
She coached us through the various complications of an at-home wedding, and spent plenty of time face-to-face with me before wedding day. She and her team ran our rehearsal the day before, and on the day itself, they set up and decorated our back yard, directed the many vendors and the bridal party, made sure everyone got paid, took care of the guests, directed the flow of the event, cleaned up and secured the house afterward, and probably many other things I don't even know about - because I was mercifully shielded and able to focus on being a bride. She took my vision and executed it better than I ever could have myself.
Kelsey made our day happen, and made it absolutely magical - a wedding day that we still can't believe was ours, and a wedding that many of our guests said was the best they had ever been to. I simply can't recommend Kelsey Events highly enough! -

Kelsey made my wedding effortless. She helped me find and secure vendors and made sure I got dorm amazing deals. He worked out the details with the vendors so that I didn't have to. I was living in a different city so she was helpful making sure things got picked up and everything was there the day of the wedding. My wedding day went sooo smooth. It was effortless. I did have to worry about a thing and she took care of everything. I am so glad that I had Kelsey there to help with my wedding. -

Kelsey Events came hiighly recommended to us so we decided to give her a call. Really, really glad we did! It's been two months since our wedding and I always think about what a smart choice it was to go with Kelsey events for our wedding coordination.
During the process, she wasn't pushy - she knew we were working with a really tight budget and didn't push any of her vendors on us and worked well with the ones we went with. She never made us feel like we weren't just as important to her as maybe her other clients, she kept in touch all the time! We got asked many o' times why we would spend money on a coordinator if we could have used that money for something else for the wedding. and I hate to sound cliche, but SERIOUSLY taking as much stress off of yourself - or a family member or friend you would ask to help - is so Priceless! She and/or Jackie (her assistant) were at every meeting that they needed to be and always kept a high level of professionalism.
Day of: Our day-of coordinator was Jackie. she was SO SO SO wonderful!! That morning she went to the venue to make sure everyone and everything was taking care of business. She went to the hotel to check up on us and that little detail was very sweet! At the wedding reception, even our Guests were saying what a wonderful job she was doing (no joke! haha). The best part was that she was so calm, cool and collected. I really don't think anything went wrong that day... and if it did, I had noo clue!! :) She was a major sweetheart!

Kelsey was incredible. We had a rather large Armenian wedding with lots of pieces to it but she did a great job with orchestrating everything, besides the fact that she is just so sweet and nice. We are so grateful for all the time and work she put into our wedding to make it perfect. The best part is that she managed the relationships with all our vendors, saved a lot of back and forth communication for us. She also had phenomenal recommendations. We were at first skeptical as to whether or not we needed a planner for a 500 guest wedding, but within the first few weeks of working with her we realized how much we actually needed her. -

This mother of the bride can say without hesitation that Kelsey and her crew are the best! You can absolutely trust in all the 5 star reviews on Wedding Wire and other sites when you choose to make her your planner. She is everything you want in terms of responsiveness, vendor coordination, bringing her "design eye" to help you fulfill your vision and more. But, 3 things really stand out for me and set her apart: 1) She is respectful of your budget. Many times she said to me "with your permission I would like to...add one more rental linen, or change something that would increase the budget. Sometimes only a few dollars, but she still makes sure you're comfortable before she takes action. 2) We had a horrible situation with a photobooth vendor who was not responsive and realized on the day before the wedding that they would be a no show. Kelsey was coordinating another wedding on that very day before my daughter's. Yet, she somehow managed to make multiple inquiries and find another photobooth service less than 24 hours before our wedding...all the time she was at a venue coordinating another wedding! She saved us. That's real service and dedication! 3) Towards the end of the reception she calmly asked for the keys to our car..so she and her crew could gather up all the things we needed to take with us (pictures, guest book, cake platform, etc.) and put them in the car for us. I was thinking we would be at the venue for a while after the reception to take care of that stuff. But, Kelsey had it totally covered so we could relax.
The first time we met with Kelsey, I asked her what my involvement/duties would be during the wedding as the mother of the bride. She said..."show up and have a wonderful time" - we'll handle the rest. I knew at the moment that we had the right team! -

Kelsey was referred to me by a friend of mine and I couldn't have been happier with the results. I went in to Kelsey with very little knowledge about planning a wedding and what was required. She gave me a checklist and helped me along every step of the way. Kelsey was always there to bounce ideas off of and give me advice.
On the day of our wedding, my husband and I were so thankful to have Kelsey! She kept everyone on schedule and made sure that everything looked perfect. I could not have planned my wedding without Kelsey by my side! -

Kelsey reigns supreme :) I never had any intention of hiring a coordinator, but our venue required that we have one. Well, it was the best thing I've ever been forced to do. They gave us a long list of coordinators to choose from. But the second we met Kelsey, we knew she would be perfect for our wedding. During the time we were planning I was asked, as most brides are, if I was stressed out. And my response was always, "Nope. I have a really great coordinator." One of the things I loved about Kelsey was nothing worried her. There was always a solution, even when I decided to change florists four months before the wedding. I was panicking; Kelsey was not. I had unlimited telephone and email contact with her, but we did most of the planning via email, which is super convenient for me. I think we talked on the phone once or twice and texted, but everything else was through email. Unfortunately budgets are always an underlying factor in wedding planning, but she did her best to always make sure we were getting the best price from our vendors. She practically paid for herself with some of the discounts she got us. She really understood my vision but also made some great suggestions that helped tie everything together. The night of the wedding, all of our decorations, et cetera, were returned to my parents' room. We didn't have to carry one thing from our venue back to the hotel. I can't imagine having to plan our wedding without her. -

I was actually referred to Kelsey by another bride. She had done a fabulous job so I knew I would be in good hands.
I hired Kelsey to help with my planning from very beginning. She helped me find a beautiful venue and all my vendors! There's nothing more relaxing than knowing your vendors are reliable and do great jobs. That's why having a wedding planner is so worth it because you don't want to leave this to chance and she will help you with this the entire way.
As for the weeks leading up to the day of the wedding, Kelsey couldn't be more of a necessity! She will create a timeline for all your vendors and keep in touch with all of them so you don't have to. She and her staff will set everything up and take everything down!
She really assisted in making my day relaxing, enjoyable, and beautiful what is or should be every brides dream! -

Kelsey was and is completely amazing! Where do I even begin?!
My now husband and I decided in February of 2012 to move our wedding up from July 2013 to July 2012. Needless to say we knew we were going to need help ASAP, especially since we live in Dallas. My parents still live in CA, so my mom did a lot of the scouting for me, so when I came home to visit that month I got to meet Kelsey for the first time. The minute my mom and I met Kelsey we knew she was our gal. She came to the meeting with a binder in hand to explain to us her plan. With 5 short months to plan our wedding Kelsey set to the task of lining up vendor meetings for my short visits home. Everyone she introduced us to was wonderful. The entire process was painless because of Kelsey's constant communication and organization. There were times during our vendor meetings that I wasn't sure who was having more fun with the planning process. It was the little things like this that made Kelsey such a pleasure to be around! :)
The day of wedding, Kelsey even came to my parents house to check in on us while our make up was being done to see if any last minute items needed to be brought to the venue. She was my calm rock the day of the wedding. I would have a been a disorganized mess if it hadn't been for Kelsey! I'm so thankful to have found her and to have had her help! She made my special day so memorable and happy!
So, if you're in need of a dependable, organized, and incredibly sweet person to help plan your wedding, then you definitely need to talk to Kelsey! -

Kelsey is AMAZING!!! I am the mother of the bride but felt the need to write this review. When my daughter, who lives in Texas, called in February of 2012 and told us that she was moving up her wedding date to July of 2012 and getting married in Orange County I knew we needed help and fast. The first time we met Kelsey we knew she was the perfect fit. She came with a smile on her face and a binder in her hands and was ready to work hard and fast to make this happen.
We talked and emailed almost daily until my daughter came home in March for 1 week. During that week Kelsey set up and accompanied us to all vendor meetings, asked the questions we forgot to ask or didn't know to ask, helped us negotiate contracts at the same time keeping us on task, and within our budget. Kelsey was a great listener and understood my daughter's ideas, dreams and wishes. She always returned emails, texts, or phone calls promptly. She was full of ideas and energy, sometimes I don't who was having more fun planning this wedding.
The wedding day could not have gone any smoother. Everyone involved had received an itinerary days in advance and had answered all questions. Kelsey was at our house making sure the bridal party was on schedule, she took all last minute items to the venue for us and had everything set up when we arrived. It was very obvious that Kelsey was in total control and that the day would go as planned. She even hemmed one of the groomsmen's pants that were to long. The wedding started on time and it ran like clockwork. We did not have to attend to any of the details during or after the wedding, Kelsey and her helpers took care of it all.
Kelsey made sure that this day was a true fairy tale for my daughter. We could not have found a more competent planner than Kelsey. -

From day one Kelsey jumped on board whole heartedly. She was early to pretty much every meeting & was always kind and understanding when I was always late :)
Early on she accompanied us to our e-shoot to hang out with our dog between shoots and even picked up my bouquet from the florist on the way. This was the kind of willing-to-go-out-of-the-way service & dependability she provided every step of the way.
She knew early on that we wanted to remain very hands-on in the planning process; she assisted where it was needed, booked & attended a number of vendor appointments, lending advice, attended the caterers tasting and helped with a number of our questions when we were in decision making mode. She helped with anything from crunching numbers, to styling recommendations, to providing vendor referrals (and narrowing down the decision after vendor meetings). She even helped us take an inventory (and pack up) all 200 vessels we had collected for the florist to use.
She was always responsive to our emails, even if sometimes in the multiples, and if she was out of pocket for a day or two - she would still respond and let us know. We found that she was patient and detailed; managing the logistics with the vendors and getting ahold of them in a timely manner - and confirming all the last minute details.
Kelsey remained professional throughout the entire process. She provided itineraries to the wedding party the night of our rehearsal, got phone numbers of key contacts, and the morning of the wedding she came to our hotel room to pick up my dress, shoes, etc. and bring over to the venue for photos. We are completely grateful for how smoothly the entire evening went! We had a number of DIY details that we had provided to her prior to the wedding and she was able to flawlessly pull all the loose ends together.
She allowed our big day to be stress-free from start to finish and we would certainly recommend Kelsey to any of our friends and family. -

First and foremost, our wedding turned out to be amazing and a complete success. Our guests have told us that they were blown away and were thankful to have attended such a glamorous, fun and memorable event. Now all of this couldn't of been possible without Kelsey and her team at Kelsey Events. So when the big day finally came, Kelsey and her team were able to pick up items from us for the reception site at the butt crack 'o' dawn so they could expedite the set up process. She had all of the vendors contact information to make sure that they arrived in a timely manner to do what they were hired to do while making sure the bridal party was getting ready in time for photography. Kelsey also made sure the bridal party was on time and coherent with the game plan - that meant we couldn't get drunk which was a good thing! We already wanted to party but she made sure the business of love got handled first. After the wedding ceremony, we were blown away at the look and feel of our wedding reception - all of that planning and hard work were present and it was nice to see that pie fully baked! Kelsey made sure the next series of events were on time like: introductions, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, video, etc. In the wee hours of the evening, once the guests vacated the venue, Kelsey helped us clear the venue of all our personable valuables and then the night was finally over. Some people say that your wedding day goes by so fast, for us it was a longgggggg day! Ultimately Kelsey is a consummate professional and we'd recommend her ten-fold especially at The Vibiana where we held our wedding reception. We can't thank Kelsey enough for being there for us and making our memories last a lifetime. -

Kelsey from Kelsey Events was beyond amazing. She was by my side from day 1. Answered all my crazy questions, and if she didn't have the answer she found out information and got right back to me, and trust me I had a few crazy ones ;) My special day went on without a hiccup and if there was one she took care of it so none of us knew and was done behind scenes. She is great at what she does and has such a wonderful & proffessional relationship with so many great vendors in Orange County. My family & friends were very pleased with our wedding and made a few comments as to how on top of everything Kelsey was from beginning to end. Thank you Kelsey Events... Kelsey and her staff are just simply amazing! Kelsey made my wedding flawless, stress-free, and exactly what I wanted! I hired Kelsey a month before my wedding when I realized my other wedding planner didn’t have anything together with 4 weeks left to go. Upon my first meeting with Kelsey, I knew that she was the one that could handle an ethnic wedding with a 420 guest count at the Vibiana. Kelsey is extremely prompt at returning calls, emails and texts, and is very organized, creative and accessible. I never got nervous or anxious because I knew Kelsey crossed all her T’s and dotted all her I’s. Upon hiring Kelsey, she immediately took the reins and figured out where my old wedding planner left off, what she missed and what was still needed. Kelsey was able to see my vision and make suggestions based off of her creativity and experience. My wedding was more than what I had envisioned, thanks to Kelsey! Kelsey is very detailed oriented, ventures out of her comfort zone, and knows what it takes to get the job done. Kelsey saved our wedding! We had a major last minute disaster with our florist and Kelsey came through for us. She also did a wonderful job hand-decorating our site. She literally made works of art out of paper lanterns on the day of our wedding. We don't know how we could have done it without her. She was so great in smoothing out the little problems and handled everything like the true professional she is. -

I knew the minute I met Kelsey that she would be one of the best decisions I would make in planning my wedding for May 7th, 2011 and I was 110% right! Kelsey is not only an exceptional wedding coordinator, she is also one of the most wonderful, charming, and delightful people I know --- It was like I had one of my closest friends with me by my side to plan my special day. Asking Kelsey to help us with our wedding was the best decision my husband and I could have made. She coordinated everything perfectly and kept us in the loop, making sure everything she did was exactly what we wanted. Kelsey picked up the pieces when I didn't have the time or know-how. She is organized, on top of things, and dedicated to making the wedding process as smooth as possible for the bride to be. She also is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to other vendors and their credibility. Kelsey extends extra effort whenever she can and goes out of her way to give the couple some peace of mind. She also took all of our homemade props and creatively placed them exactly where I would have if I had been the one setting up.... she has an artistic eye and saw my vision perfectly. Our experience with Kelsey was not a good one. There were multiple issues from the start. We booked her two months before the wedding as I already had most of the planning completed. She promised that once we book her she would take over so I relax and enjoy the experience. This was not the case. After booking her I sent over all existing vendor contracts and their contact information including a list of follow-up and to-do’s. Nothing was done with this information for weeks. I decided to give her the benefit of doubt and give her more direction to get things started. She was just simply not self-motivated and on top of things. I had vendors continuously contacting me with questions about timeline and final details etc. All things a coordinator should be doing. The videographer still did not receive any contact from her 3 days before the wedding.
Kelsey also tried to secure an additional vendor contract for table rentals when our linen company also carried the tables. This would have cost us a delivery fee of $250 for 10 tables that were $10 each. Also, after the wedding there were items not returned to us. She had a bad attitude when asked about it afterwards saying that our guests took it and she was not responsible for lost or stolen items. If she's not responsible why did we hire her then? We saw where the items were sitting the whole night thinking they would be returned to us at the end of the night. They were not.
Overall, we really had a very bad experience with Kelsey. Kelsey really missed the mark as a good coordinator and had to be managed every step of the way. She was combative and things had to go her way. Worst of all she had a bad attitude. This was also commented by several members of our wedding party and family members on the day of the rehearsal as well as on the wedding day. At the end we really just had to suck it up and deal with her in fear she would not do a good job on the day of the wedding. -
