Highly highly highly recommend

I cannot stress enough how special Kelly and John make you feel from the moment they meet you. I hired them based off their gorgeous photography skills prior to ever meeting them and going into the engagement photo session we were a bit nervous because neither of us ever take any pictures because we don’t know how to and so we thought it was going to be weird and we were going to look awkward posing but I am not kidding when I say they make you feel so relaxed and have fun with it. They are two of the most personal down to earth people with an incredible gift and if I had to do it all over again I would definitely invest in hiring them again because these are pictures you’re going to look back on for the rest of your life! I absolutely love the KGP family and will definitely recommend choosing them for your special event!

Unparalleled

Kelly and John are PHENOMENAL. Obviously their talent in photography is unparalleled. Everyone can see that by looking at their work. But they are so much more than that too. Kelly was in contact with me leading up to my wedding making sure everything would run smoothly on my special day. She literally helped plan the schedule for the day. My grandmother passed away a month before my wedding and Kelly even helped come up with some ways to honor her during my ceremony. All of these things out of the scope of work for a typical photographer. I had an absolute blast with them on my wedding day and they very quickly became my friends too. They were so fun and made us feel so comfortable. We got sneak peek pictures right away. Hands down picking them was one of the best wedding planning decisions I made!

Kelly and John are absolutely amazing! Their work is gorgeous and they are all around great and fun people to be around. I have done 4 sessions total with them and they are by far the best photographers I’ve ever had. Our wedding was so magical and stress-free and I wholeheartedly believe that it is because we hired Kelly and John!

If you don’t know who Kelly & John Ginn are yet, buckle your seatbelt and pat yourself on the back because you’ve just found your dream team photographers. Kelly & John could not be more wonderful people, more dedicated artists, or a more beautiful couple. They exceeded all my expectations at every turn from their flawless communication to their clear direction and easygoing nature. I’ve seen it over and over again in the reviews but it can’t be said enough- they make taking photos so easy and so much fun- Josh & I felt like total celebrities with them! I also love that they provided a sneak peek social media post of our engagement session and our wedding :) K + J are worth the investment and it’s an investment I would choose again in a heartbeat.

Best addition to our wedding day!

Kelly and John made our entire day! They not only took the most beautiful photos, but they were flexible and took every small detail into account. We felt like they were our photographers AND our day of coordinators. All of our family members still talk to us about how wonderful our photographers were. Their professionalism and awesome personalities truly stand out above others. I can't imagine anyone regretting hiring Kelly and John. We are forever grateful to have had them there with us on our special day!

A dream come true

Kelly and John made taking pictures SO fun and natural! They were extremely flexible and efficient, especially with our hectic timeline post ceremony (we didn't want to do a first look). Photographers were the most important vendor to me, since they produce memories you can cherish forever, and I would choose them a million times over again! They exceeded everything I could have dreamed of! They are so talented & will feel like your lifelong best friends throughout the day with all the many hats they wear and how they bend over backwards for their brides and grooms!

Say ‘YES’ to Kelly + John

I cannot tell a lie: I based my wedding date around Kelly Ginn Photography’s availability and I’m not ashamed to admit it! As in I moved my wedding date from my dream month to the month before JUST so I could have them be a part of our big day. And I have NO regrets! KGP was the FIRST and top favorite vendor we booked! I have what my husband likes to call “high standards” and I knew (before he proposed) that they were the only photographers I wanted capturing our big day! It’s been 8 months since my husband and I got married, and we STILL cannot get over how amazing both Kelly and John were before, during AND after our wedding.

From the second I contacted Kelly and John about working with us on our wedding day, they were all in! And that’s the thing, they are all-in kind of people (and exactly who you want working along side you on the journey to your wedding). They invest their time and love into not only photographing your wedding, but into YOU and your best interests. They were there for any and every random wedding question I had along the way, giving whole-hearted and honest advice. Obviously anyone can see their work is astounding; from how comfortable they make brides and grooms feel in front of the camera to the truly magical photos they (so effortlessly) produce. I seriously wish I could relive our engagement shoot and wedding on a regular basis JUST so I could be around them! And I HATE HAVING MY PICTURE TAKEN, let me tell you! With them, I wanted more, more, more!

I’ll never forget how Kelly and John made us feel on our wedding weekend. I could feel their love and support even before they showed up on our wedding day, with texts checking in the night before and morning of. They were by our sides every step of the way, going above and beyond their call of duty. From making sure my lipstick was poppin’ (and not on my teeth), helping me put my veil on, making sure I had water/champagne/food, legit pulling bugs out of my dress in 85 degree heat, ensuring our favorite songs were played at our reception, offering to massage my cramping feet and, so much more. But most importantly, coordinating any and every little random detail with other vendors throughout the entire day to help keep us both calm all.day.long. They had us and whatever we needed before we even knew we needed it! Not because they had to, but because they WANTED to. Because they love to. Because that’s who they are and it’s what comes so naturally to them. They made this anxiety-ridden bride and groom at peace all day, like they were one of our very best friends there by our sides!

When you chose Kelly and John to join your dream team, you are choosing the best of the best. With them, you get WAY more than you could ever imagine. They will be your biggest cheerleaders and truest advocates! They were, by far, our very best choice (almost as much as our ‘I DO’s)! Our parents, wedding party AND guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing they were! Their dedication to us and our day did not go unnoticed. I can never repay them or scream ‘THANK YOU’ from the rooftops enough! You can’t put a price on the amazing investment you receive when you chose them as your wedding photographers. Best ever!

Kelly and John are not only THE BEST photographers but they are THE BEST friends!! When I first met them we instantly clicked! They were so fun and easy to talk to. At the engagement session, my husband and John bonded over so many things and instantly became friends! We were engaged for a year so we had a pretty long time to get to know Kelly and John- side note.. they were THE FIRST VENDORS I BOOKED!! Kelly became such a good friend to me and I talked to her ALOT about literally everything weddings and everything NOT weddings!! I did a bridal shoot with them and they KILLED it! On the wedding day, not only did they get some KILLER photos which have been in so many magazines and all over social media.. Kelly and John went above and beyond from jumping in the back of a truck bed for the perfect shots (shhhh), to carrying my heavy heavy dress everywhere we walked (dream team- Kelly, John, madi), to literally helping me in my dress, fixing my veil, refilling and carrying my drinks at the reception while still KILLING IT!! I’ve not only gotten to tell everyone what an AWESOME vendor to use but what AMAZING friends I now have!!!

Wedding photographer

Kelly and John- I would choose them 100 times over as our wedding photographers!!! They are both so attentive to every detail and our wedding photos absolutely took my breath away. They kept us on schedule our whole wedding day while simultaneously making sure we were both having a BLAST the whole time. They both have something about them that makes you feel as if you have been friends for life. I felt so at ease with them there with us and can’t thank them enough for our amazing photos that bring us back to all the wonderful memories of that day each and every time we look through them!!

The only time I’ll use this: G.O.A.T.

I would without a doubt reccomend this vendor!!! The FIRST vendor in my mind after my husband proposed was Kelly Ginn Photography. They lived up to our expectations without missing a beat. They are some of the most hardworking, caring and gifted people we know (not to mention- FUN!).

As we planned they made us feel like the most important people on the planet. The day of they catered to our every need. Today we call them dear friends. The images are to die for and I can’t imagine what my wedding would have been without them. They captured the essence of our day and our personalities 100%.

Hiring them is one of the best decisions we have ever made and if we could do it all over again we would choose them every. single. time.

There are truly no adequate words to describe the absolute JOY it was to work with Kelly Ginn Photography! Kelly and John are so much more than photographers. Kgp is the dream team

I knew I wanted Kelly Ginn Photography to photograph my wedding before I was even engaged. I had been following Kelly & John for quite sometime and my husband I were and still are obsessed. After I got engaged, we immediately booked our venue and booked KGP the following day! The KGP team was an absolute dream to work with during our engagement session, the months/weeks/days leading up to the wedding and our actual wedding weekend. Aside from them capturing the most breathtaking images of our wedding day, they made my husband and I feel so calm on our wedding day. Kelly helped me numerous times with my lipstick and veil and told me that I looked like a queen the entire day! And John even bustled the train on my dress after the ceremony! Just absolutely awesome! I cannot say enough about this talented, kind and selfless team. They were so great to us, our families and our guests. I cannot recommend the KGP team enough!

Love Kelly Ginn Photography!!

I met Kelly and John at my sister-in-laws wedding and fell in love with them and their work so much that when it was time to plan my own wedding, we actually set our date around their availability. And it was the best decision ever! They took our engagement and wedding pictures, and we were blown away by how perfectly they captured every moment and how quickly they felt like friends. Stress Free

Kelly and John truly made our big day stress free!! The provided great directions on how to get the shots we were wanting and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Oh and how can I forget about how they got all of the little detail shots for us. Throughout the day we were so busy that we didn’t have time to look over some of the smaller detail, but Kelly and John made sure they captured it for us. I am forever thankful for that! Something else that was really important to us were family pictures of our entire extended families, and she made that happen for us.

Above & Beyond

Kelly and John are some of the most genuine, kind and all around best people you will ever meet. They pay attention to every little thing you could need on your wedding day on top of taking beautiful photos. They go above and beyond the job of a photographer from making me mimosas, asking if we needed water every few minutes out in the heat, helping me get bugs out of my dress that crawled up from the grass, holding napkins under my chin while I tried the hors d'oeuvres, going to find my garter when I forgot to put it on, and refilling my glass even though I said I didn't want anymore (because they knew I wanted more). I felt like a princess being waited on. They absolutely exceeded our expectations, completed our day and made it perfect. They are super efficient with time and I even got to sit and relax for 45 minutes before the wedding even started! Also, our photos are just STUNNING and they captured everything. If you are thinking of having them as your wedding photographers just do it. You will not regret It!!

The best ever!

This is long overdue (sorry guys!), but the Ginns are the best!
To start, they are so friendly and welcoming. My husband and I are both pretty camera-shy and since we live out of town we didn’t get to practice with an engagement session, but the Ginns told us exactly what to do and we were very comfortable with them. They will also make sure that you get fantastic pictures. We were racing the rain after our ceremony and the Ginns prioritized our couple shots over family shots so we wouldn’t miss out and then they were very quick and efficient with family shots. It was so cute, they kept apologizing for being so hardline about getting everyone in order so we could get all the shots we wanted before the rain, but we wouldn’t have wanted them to do anything else! We have several married friends who ended up with maybe one or two wedding pictures that they like and we have hundreds that we love! Also, Kelly and John are both so personable. I almost had a melt-down when I was reapplying my lipstick because I had (somehow) gotten some on my face and I thought it had stained, but Kelly talked me down and John actually pulled a splinter out of my sister’s foot! We love them and you definitely will, too!

K+j=top notch

As easy as it is to brag on Kelly and John at any given moment, it is incredibly difficult to try and find the words and compress all of my thoughts into one review.
Let's start from the beginning--the engagement/wedding planning process/choosing vendors. You want to choose vendors for your wedding that you would want to hang out with on a daily basis.
You want to choose Kelly and John.
When people recommend vendors to newly engaged couples, you trust their opinions and truly put in the time looking into who you want with you on your wedding day. When several friends recommended Kelly and John, we immediately were sold.
You want to choose Kelly and John.
After only meeting with them once (well, for my husband, Brad, & John that wasn't the case--Lenny's boys for life!) shortly after we got engaged, and not seeing either of them again until the morning of our wedding felt like forever and a day. When the two of them showed up at the Monarch, where me + my maids were getting ready, it was as if weight immediately was lifted off of my shoulders. Whatever wedding day worries that were on my mind disappeared INSTANTLY just knowing they were there. I know for a fact that everything wouldn't have gone so smoothly without KGP.
You want to choose Kelly and John.
John and Kelly are NOT just photographers. They are SO, SO much more than that. They are part of the wedding party. From John popping champagne for me when my mom made me burst into tears just before pictures with my maids, to Kelly adjusting the notches in my shoes when my feet started to swell from sweating and standing, and every SINGLE thing in between---J+K went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfectly perfect from start to finish!
You want to choose Kelly and John.
John and Kelly truly are the most dynamic duo--in marriage, in life as best friends, and as photographers. I could go on and on and on about how amazing they are as humans, but their TALENT. Their talent shines even brighter than I could have ever hoped. Kelly and John delivered 1600+ FLAWLESS images to Brad and I on our ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY. They work hard and it shows; there is absolutely no doubt about that. They genuinely captured every emotion on our wedding day, and our photos will be mementos that we will forever cherish. Kelly and John freaking ROCK and I will forever recommend the two of them to anyone who will listen.

The best ever

It's hard to write this review without writing a novel so I'll try and summarize how much I love Kelly and John!
When we started looking for a photographer for our big day, my planner Krisy from Southern Sparkle gave me a list of vendors that she knew and loved.
I knew after looking at just ONE gallery from KGP that they were who I wanted for our wedding day.
They had the most stunning detail shots, and you can tell how much they pay attention to the things that you want to remember most from that day.
We were social media friends with them for months leading up to our wedding and I always felt like we were meant to be friends with them, AND I WAS RIGHT. They are so kind to their clients and genuinely want to get to know them. On wedding day it was like I had just seen long lost friends! They came a little early and immediately got to work. They got my detail shots, and Kelly stayed in the bridal suite with me taking photos BUT ALSO.... y'all. I was struggling to tape my boobs up and Kelly literally did it for me (in that moment I knew we were destined to be friends). I had also forgot socks with my boots and Kelly offered to take the socks off of her own feet and give me hers!!! Kelly also continued to feed me bread sticks at the reception just to make sure I was eating- because who really gets to eat at their wedding???? She's just the best.
They made photos so much fun that my husband actually enjoyed it, and never complained once! Our bridal party hasn't stopped talking about them, and neither has our family. My dad can't stop talking about how awesome they were and how much fun they made taking pictures!

I consider Kelly and John friends now, and I am so thankful that we had them on our wedding day!
Kelly Ginn Photography is professional but FUN and easy going. They are kind, and the kind of people that you just want to be around all the time. They knew my style and my vision and they were the PERFECT addition to our wedding vendor dream team. I get teary eyed every time I see a preview of our pictures because it get's better and better with every photo!!!
I'm already trying to plan a shoot with them because I think I just really miss them!

Kelly and John are truly amazing. Our experience with them was the greatest! I cannot imagine our special weekend without them. They are encouraging and have such positive energy! You need Kelly and John Ginn to be your photographers! I had seen Kelly's work from previous weddings, and absolutely knew that I wanted her to be my wedding photographer. She and John made my husband, Blake, and I feel completely comfortable during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. They are both so incredibly sweet, funny, and an absolute blast to be around. Not to mention how incredibly talented they are. Peruse their website, and you'll know what I'm talking about. Not only do they blow it out of the park during your wedding day festivities, but they are genuinely sweet and caring people. A few months after my wedding, a cousin of mine who was in my wedding party passed away unexpectedly. When they heard about this tragedy, they sent me a printed 8x10 photo of the two of us to have as a sweet reminder of that wonderful day, and the last time that my cousin and I were in a photo together. Talk about going above and beyond! They are just that way, and want to help and support their couples however they can. Make Kelly Ginn Photography one of your wedding day vendor priorities. They are worth the investment, and you will not regret it. Amazingly beautiful and creative work, coupled with two photographers who have awesome personalities-- you can't beat that!

If you have a vision of how you want your big day, engagement photos, or any other special moment to be captured, trust me when I say KGP will blow your expectations out of the water! Kelly and John are above amazing!! We could not of asked for better photographers. They are so good at their job and I never once stressed about choosing Kelly Ginn photography as a vendor. Not only was Kelly and John our photographer but so much more!! Kelly was so helpful with all her recommendations for vendors and I honestly think that’s why my dream wedding worked out so perfectly. We just recently received our wedding photos back and we were blown away at how awesome the photos were and how they captured every single little detail of the entire day. Brides NEVER want to see rain on their wedding day, clear skies in the forecast with our ceremony starting at 2 pm the rain came right with it, by 2:05 it was a full on thunderstorm. Every single guest was absolutely soaked! Kelly and John didn't even blink an eye to get us the perfect wedding shots! THEN they go above and beyond and offer to do a full wedding shoot, with hair, make-up, flowers, AND the venue on board! Kelly Ginn Photography are so much more than wedding photographers they make you feel like more than a bride but like you are apart of their family! they have truly touched our hearts, Thank you Kelly Ginn Photography!

When we first got engaged, I knew that I wanted to reach out to Kelly Ginn Photography. Upon meeting Kelly and John, my fiance and I knew we picked the right couple to capture our wedding day. They were so incredibly personable but also professional. Our engagement session was a blast and it really helped us laugh and be comfortable in front of the camera. John and Kelly were constantly cracking jokes to make us laugh so all the smiles were genuine. It was so fun! The wedding day was busy from the start but Kelly had a flow to the order that she took pictures and it was great. Even now, months after our wedding, I still look at our pictures and smile uncontrollably. They were so attentive throughout the day: getting us water, giving us tissues to wipe away sweat and tears, and just making us laugh. I consider them the best and I constantly recommend them to all newly engaged couples getting married in Memphis. Even now, they still check in on us to see how we are doing with our new jobs, home, and city. They are the sweetest people and their work is phenomenal.

Kelly and John were such a blessing for my husband Taylor and me for our engagement pictures, our wedding pictures, and our bride and groom session. When I was looking for a photographer for our December 30th wedding, I knew that Kelly Ginn Photography was the right choice, purely based on their pictures alone. They use beautiful natural lighting and manage to capture joy. Somehow it never looked posed or forced. I knew I wanted them. Communication with John and Kelly was primarily done through email and they seemed to be as excited to be our photographers as we were to have them. Correspondences were informative, professional, timely, and kind.

I would never claim to be a supermodel by any means, but John and Kelly sure made me feel like one! They would show us poses and make suggestions, but would never overstep by any means. They would listen to what we wanted and also go by our personalities to help us capture who we are. Our sessions with them were always fun and they made us feel comfortable. On our wedding day, they were present in all situations, but discrete at the same time. As I was getting my makeup done pre-ceremony, Kelly brought me a plate of food so she could make sure I ate. And she would always be around to help me lug around my train/veil when needed. They definitely went above and beyond!

Kelly and John were the perfect fit for us and we are so happy with how our pictures turned out and we are also thankful to have gained two new friends in the process.

Kelly and John are the definition of the dream team. Simply put, they are the best of the best. They go the extra mile from the minute you reach out to them. From the very beginning, Kelly and John make every effort to get to know you and make you feel comfortable! They get as much information as possible, are efficient and triple check with you on details and coordination. They make absolute sure that your wedding day is smooth and flawless!! In fact they really played a huge role in making sure our wedding day timeline was perfect and stress free, and that we got all the shots we wanted and then some! Their intentions are truly genuine, they want you to be happy, and want you to have the absolute best wedding experience possible! On the day of, they were an absolute dream. My favorite part of working with Kelly and John was that they knew what I wanted without even telling them. I was the kind of bride who truly just trusted their taste and style, and let them guide me with images and poses etc and they could not have done a better job. They knew what images my husband and I would love, from the detail shots to our portraits. They truly individualize the experience to each couple which is something truly special! As soon as I got engaged, I knew the first vendor I would book was Kelly Ginn Photography and that is exactly what I did. Kelly and John did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. As soon as we saw the engagement photos, we knew we made the right choice, plus they made the experience of taking the photos in almost 100 degree weather actually fun. My husband sweats in the winter so they carried around a towel and a fan for him to use in between shots. I seriously cannot say enough about both of them! When our wedding day came, we were running behind because the bridesmaids’ makeup took longer than expected. They helped me stay on track so the wedding still started on time and I still got every picture I wanted and more. They knew exactly what they were doing and it allowed me to not worry about anything! It also helps that they are super professional while still being down to earth and fun to be around. They make the whole experience even more enjoyable. We have SO many amazing pictures from our wedding. I have gotten so many compliments on them and I always make sure they know who took them. I still cannot pick a favorite picture because I love so many of them. I could write a book with all the good things about Kelly & John, but it all comes down to one thing- if you are looking for a photographer, book with Kelly Ginn Photography.You won't be disappointed.

There are no words to express how AMAZING Kelly and John are and the talent they have to capture the special and touching moments that will remain memories for a lifetime. I was asking around and doing my own vendor research as I started my own wedding planning and in every conversation, Kelly and John Ginn were the names that came up in every recommendation. It was a no brainer, especially after seeing some of the countless weddings they've captured. I reached out and we literally picked our wedding date based on their availability. Fast forward a few months and they invited us into their home to go over details and made all of our worries go away. On our wedding day, they served as both photographers, train and veil holders, babylips sharers, cleaners that will dirty their own clothes so you won't, and just sweet friends that kept us laughing and smiling. Their fun personalities are contagious and you can tell that they LOVE what they do and that their focus is 100% on you when you're together. We would seriously walk through any environment with them to get the best and unique shots! Let me just start and say that I decided on my wedding date because of Kelly and John Ginn. They shot one of my best friend's wedding and I knew I had to have them at mine. And I wasn't even engaged yet! Kelly and John go above and beyond for their couples. Not only are their pictures absolutely beautiful, they make sure you and your significant other feel more than comfortable taking photos. We used Kelly and John for both engagement photos and our wedding day and my husband and I felt as if we were hanging out with old friends. Kelly and John take the stress away on EVERY front on the wedding day. I did not have to worry about making sure pictures of our details (invitations, rings, etc) were taken, if we had enough time for certain photos, and literally anything else I could possibly worry about. Kelly was constantly making sure my dress, hair, and veil was perfect. They are photographers that actually want you to LOOK and FEEL your best. My wedding was almost 1 year ago and I still rave about these two. I can't say enough good things about these guys. You have to have them for any important moment in your life.

John and Kelly were incredible to work with. During the planning process, Kelly responded quickly to any questions I had and was so organized when it came to planning ahead for our day. She and John travelled to Nashville to shoot my bridal portraits and made me feel so comfortable and laughed with me through the day. There are not enough great things to say about Kelly Ginn Photography! I knew I wanted Kelly before I was even engaged. First of all, you are getting both Kelly and John to capture both sides of your special day. They capture every single detail, large and small. They were able to keep us calm, before and after the ceremony despite the crazy weather of our wedding day. Kelly took her own bobby pin out of her hair to help me with my dress. We did not feel like just clients to them, they ended up becoming friends. Booking them as our photographers was the best decision we made! They were so much fun and laughed with us our entire day. We also enjoyed having Kelly & John take our engagement photos at Memphis Botanic Garden as well.

Kelly was professional, efficient, friendly, and above all takes amazing photographs. She and her husband, John, made me and my husband feel so at ease in front of the camera. As I began wedding planning, I knew who my photographer was going to be was extremely important to me. I began searching the Memphis area for photographers and stumbled across Kelly Ginn Photography. I set up a face to face meeting with them, and my mom, me, and my fiance (now husband) went and met with them in their home. It was love at first meeting! lol and the rest is history.. Booking them is the BEST decision I could've made. I was so nervous about engagements pictures being awkward, but they both make you feel SO comfortable and it was a blast!! I also loved having them around on our wedding day! THEY ARE SERIOUSLY SO MUCH FUN!!! Oh, and AMAZING at what they do. I'm pretty sure with them photographing, no one could take a "bad" photo. From the first time that we met with Kelly and John we felt so comfortable with them and knew we wanted them to be our photographers! It is a big task to ask someone to spend your whole wedding day with you, and capture such special moments/memories. There is no one else I would want! Kelly and John went above and beyond their role and not only gave us beautiful pictures, but also helped our wedding day be calm and relaxed. They gave us advice leading up to the wedding, and made sure everything went well the day of. They made sure our schedule and picture taking (bride/groom, wedding party, family, etc) was very organized so there was not a picture we missed. Our wedding day was an absolute whirlwind of activities, and Kelly and John Ginn kept our day afloat! Not only did they deliver on all of the many requests we kept throwing their way, they went above and beyond by adjusting our wedding day timeline when things ran behind - at no extra cost to us! They are the perfect balance of personable and professional. Kelly and John have photographed over 200 weddings, and you could tell they still enjoy what they do! And the PHOTOS!! From the breathtaking photos in black and white to the stunning colorful shots outside at sunset, every detail of their work was done to perfection. Kelly and John were fun and easy to work with. We were so in love with Kelly and John's work that we selected our wedding day based on their availability! And to say we are pleased would be a huge understatement. We are elated, thrilled, SO VERY HAPPY that we decided to work with KGP. Their talent is unmatched, and their presence with us throughout our wedding day was a key component to making the day such a huge success and as incredible as we dreamed it would be. Kelly and John were there to capture each moment throughout the day/evening, and to be sure me and my groom were comfortable and having the time of our lives. At one point, Kelly was even applying band-aids to my big toe, which was starting to blister! (seriously - top notch customer service!) We said several times during our honeymoon, "I wish John and Kelly were here!" They make you feel like a king and queen.

When we received our images yesterday, I couldn't believe the level of emotion captured in our photos. I found myself reliving every bit of joy I felt on my wedding day. Equally as important, my parents are SO happy with how the images turned out. They've married off three other children, and KGP is their favorite photographers. :) So incredibly thankful for the hard work of these two, and crossing our fingers that they'll branch out into the "family" space so they can capture each milestone for us!

There are so many reasons why we chose Kelly and John. When we met with them, they instantly made us feel relaxed, comfortable and we just clicked. They showed us their amazing photos and gave us helpful advice regarding the day of our wedding. We loved that we were able to have access to ALL of our pictures and didn't have to worry about choosing a certain number. We did an engagement shoot before the wedding and my husband and I were a little nervous. We ended up having the best time as they felt like our friends just walking around downtown with us. As for the day of...wow. They were extremely professional and a calming presence that my husband and I needed. They saw the moments that we didn't and were able to capture them for us. Their approach to the "formal" poses would satisfy my traditional mother's requests without being too cringeworthy but their ability to capture the couple- all those tiny yet significant moments- is what Dave and I were after.
Living in London and planning a wedding in Memphis had its hurdles but Kelly and John were so great at communicating with me as a badgered them with questions via email and text.
Meeting the week before our wedding was such a blessing- they were honest, relaxed and real. We barely talked about the wedding and just got to know one another.
On the day of the wedding they were professional and attentive providing comic relief and champagne where needed and putting up with some foul-mouthed groomsmen.
We cannot recommend Kelly and John Ginn enough. We loved having them by our sides as we planned for and wed. And we love our pictures!!!

John and Kelly are amazing! Their photographs turn out so beautifully and they do everything they can to make your big day go smoothly. John and Kelly felt like close friends from the minute we met them and it was truly a joy to have them with us on our wedding day! Our pictures were sent to us less than 2 months after our wedding and we love all of them. It rained our entire wedding day and we had planned to take pictures outside, but John and Kelly knew exactly how to handle the change of plans and where to take pictures at our indoor venue instead. You will not regret booking John and Kelly to capture your wedding, engagement, etc. They are wonderful!

Kelly and John not only are amazing photographers, they are also great people! We met Kelly and John at a wedding my husband and I were in two years before we were engaged. I booked Kelly and John about 14 months before our wedding. We didn't meet until a month before, but when my fiance and I finally met this dream-team couple, we spent three hours talking our heads off, because they're just the best.

These are the kind of people you want at your wedding, but also just as a part of your life. Oh, and they're eaten up with talent and joy for photography to boot. SUCH A HUGE WIN.

From the moment Kelly and John showed up to my sister's house while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, to our staged exit with sparklers, they went above and beyond to get every shot we wanted, get every shot we never could have imagined needing, and checked in on how we were doing through one of the craziest amazing days ever. There are so, so many reasons why they book up so early: strength of vision, their work ethic, and the fact that they're super down-to-earth real people.

They're just the best in the Mid South. Maybe in the country. Love me some Ginns! If photography is a priority for your wedding, there should be no doubt in your mind that they're the way to go.

If you are looking for a team of photographers that will bend over backwards to make sure your day is as perfect as possible, Kelly and John are the people for you. Not only do they work so wonderfully together as a couple (and are just the sweetest people in the world), but they are so in tune to what you and your bride/groom wants and/or needs. They know how to make the bride and groom feel completely at peace (and I am often very nervous behind a camera), and they will make everyone involved in the wedding (guests, wedding party, family, other vendors) feel so comfortable and happy. The quality of their photography can speak for itself. Just give them a look. You'll see what I mean. They really know how to "find the light". We planned our ceremony time around NOT having a first look, having it at the time they suggested, so that they could get the best lighting for the photos. They know what they are talking about. You will receive a quick turn around of more photos then you will even know what to do with.

Obviously I could go on and on, but Kelly and John are without a doubt the best pick for any engagement, wedding, elopement...you name it.

Kelly and John were amazing to work with. I planned our wedding from 6 hours away but Kelly made it very easy to plan our big day. We ended up not being able to meet them until wedding day but when they got there it felt like we had known them for a long time! I ended up taking out some things from our wedding to get Kelly Ginn and it was totally worth it. It rained on our wedding day but John and Kelly were so flexible and even got to the venue early so we could get our pictures done in-between rain clouds. I would highly recommend them!

Words are inadequate to describe how much I valued working with John and Kelly Ginn throughout our engagement and wedding! They simply made the whole experience perfect. On a personal note - you will never meet anyone as genuinely encouraging as Kelly! She is so sweet and uplifting throughout the process (and afterwards!). John and Kelly instantly put us at ease during our engagement pictures. It felt like we were just hanging out with friends, who just happened to be taking our picture! Our engagement pictures turned out perfectly and it made me stress-free during our wedding knowing the quality of their work. On our wedding day, they showed up early and stayed late without a complaint. They were able to direct a large wedding party with ease and remain on our schedule. I was so impressed by how calm and collected they were throughout the day and never seemed flustered or tired, although I know it must have been exhausting. When we received over 2,000 pictures back from our wedding, I was blown away. Their attention to detail, knowledge of lighting, and overall artistry are incomparable. We have so many beautiful images, it is impossible to choose favorites! I am so grateful to have hired them as photographers and would do it again in a heartbeat!

In rating Kelly Ginn Photography, I could not think of a single complaint. My husband and I stretched our budget to have Kelly & John Ginn and it was well worth every penny! They went above and beyond what I could have ever imagined both throughout the wedding day and the final product. Kelly and John were simply the best to work with, from day one. They're both so talented and made us feel so comfortable. We took our engagement photos with them and the experience was way more laid-back than I could've ever imagined. I fell in love with the photos the instant she sent me our "sneak peak" and knew I was in good hands for our big day. I have known Kelly since high school, and yes, she has always been this talented and creative!! Kelly and John are so good at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They were so easy to work with when it came to scheduling engagement pictures- considering my fiancé was living 8 hours away at the time, the weather was not cooperative, and Kelly had dental surgery! I always felt like Kelly was committed to making sure I felt like I was the only bride she was working with! It made things so easy for me to plan the times for everything well in advance of the wedding day, because Kelly asked how WE wanted things to flow and then sent a complete timeline that I was able to forward to family and members of the wedding party. I don't think there was a time that either Kelly or John didn't respond to a text or email in less than 24 hours! Our wedding day was so fun and easy, and I know that is in large part to KGP. We ended up with the most beautiful pictures, and look at many of them around our home every day. I know that the cost of wedding photography can be a large pill to swallow, but I have to tell all of you brides-to-be that there are some things that you want to spend the extra money on!! It is easy to spend a lot of money on things for the entertainment of your guests, but don't forget to invest in things that YOU will enjoy for a very long time! Where do I even begin. Kelly and John were so wonderful to work with. When researching photographers I came across their website and fell in love with their photos instantly. I knew we had to have them shoot our wedding day. From the beginning they were very professional and made it easy to stay in touch. I knew as soon as we met that we clicked. They were so sweet and made us feel comfortable immediately. We decided to ask them to photograph both our engagement pictures and our wedding day.
Our engagement session was so much fun. They made sure to use locations that were meaningful to my husband and I and were very accommodating when it came to coordinating because of my crazy work schedule.
Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, and the Ginn's captured it so beautifully. The church we were married in had many rules about when and where we could actually be in the sanctuary, etc. and the Ginn's made the most of it all. They also captured my favorite moments from the dance floor at the reception, I love reliving that night over and over. They have so many great ideas, I trust their vision whole heartedly. When I saw my pictures I was overwhelmed with joy because they are all incredible. Kelly and John are truly an awesome team. Enough of my raving, I would obviously recommend them to anyone looking for great photographers for their wedding (which should be everyone)!

When I saw Kelly's photographs, I knew instinctively that I had found our photographer for our wedding day. Kelly and John Ginn are not only professional and incredibly talented photographers, they are also wonderful people. From our first meeting with them to the texts I exchanged with Kelly well after our wedding, they have been warm, joyful, and sincere, and my husband and I have genuinely enjoyed spending time with them. We did engagement photos, rehearsal dinner photos, and wedding photos with the Ginns, and they did a wonderful job of making us feel relaxed and comfortable during our engagement shoot. My wife and I say this at least once a month related to Kelly and John Ginn: "We feel like we haven't done enough to thank them." Regardless of how many thank you gifts we send (and there are more coming their way!), there isn't enough we can do to express our gratitude for the way they captured our wedding day. They loved our wedding party, interacted with them in fun ways, appreciated each of them and each part of the day, and just allowed us the opportunity to enjoy the process of doing photos. There was a fantastic balance of them being open to our ideas and coming more than prepared if we didn't have any. Every woman wants "THE BEST photographer" to capture her and her love's engagement and wedding photos- it's one of the MOST important days in one's life. Yes, Kelly and John Ginn are professional photographers, but I can also call them our friends now. We loved their work they showed us when we met with them- it was beyond gorgeous and incredible! Just look at the wonderful pictures on their website!

But, both of their kind and fun personalities made us want them to be our photographers even more. They captured our Rehearsal Dinner, as well as our Wedding Day. I will NEVER recommend any other photographer other than THE GINNS!!!

When arriving at the church, they had already been there prior to the time we had set- they had already captured the physical things (i.e., veil, wedding dress, rings, sanctuary, etc,)! I couldn't believe it- beyond impressed. And they became our friends during the day, and so very helpful, capturing the candid pictures and were always there for when groups of friends said, "Oh, let's get a group pic!"

They had a collage of pictures posted to our FB by the time we left for our honeymoon (the next day!) as a sneak peak! They sent us an email link when our photos were ready! AND even better, they mailed a box of goodies and little surprises with a flashdrive of ALL of the pictures!

Kelly never ignores a text/phone call and always responds. You think you hire someone for a service, and you are all done. SO not true with Kelly and John! My Mom passed away 5 months after we were married, and they sent caring and kind words- and that says volumes!!!

Kelly and John care about making everyone's important day incredibly special. They have the heart and soul to do so. Whenever my husband and I have babies, they are THE ONLY people I will want to capture it.

INVEST IN YOUR PICTURES PEOPLE... don't be basic. kelly & john don't have their own hashtag for nothing... they're pretty incredible. And super helpful... like when you can't glue your eyelashes on evenly. I had my wedding in New Orleans and they came with us, no complaints!! They got there a day early and location scouted, had a plan throughout the day and battled a second line for the first time like it was NO THANG. Truly in the right career, Kelly is like the Jennifer Lawrence (or Kelly might prefer a TSwift comparison) of the photography industry-- super talented and great at what she does but also very humble and sweet. I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about John and Kelly! I knew just by looking at their blog that I had to have this sweet couple shoot my wedding! I booked them immediately, no questions asked and I was not disappointed. They worked with my crazy grad school schedule and met with me before the wedding to get to know me and my fiance. On the day of the wedding they were amazing at working with our large families that unrelentingly kept requesting that we needed a picture with "so-and-so!" They were so much fun to work with and I would highly recommend to any of my friends to BOOK EARLY!!!! The pictures I've seen so far are phenomenal and I can't wait to see the rest!

Kelly and John from Kelly Ginn Photography are the best. They know exactly how to work with people and capture every moment of your special day. They get you one of a kind pictures that are beautiful and still artistic to keep your photos unique to your wedding. Words can't even express how wonderful they are to work with and getting beautiful pictures makes them that much better!!

Love John and Kelly! My husband and I used them for our engagement photos as well as our wedding. They were professional, fun and talented. Not a combination you see everyday. We were so glad we used their services and even moved our wedding date because they were booked on our original date. These two will make sure you get all the shots you want and then blow your mind with shots you didn't know you wanted. We are lucky to call them our friends and our lifetime photographers. We would highly recommend them and encourage you to book them ASAP!

Kelly and John were beyond helpful. They kept me sane through the whole wedding planning process. It's so reassuring to have a vendor that wants to make your big day perfect and stress-free. Cannot thank these guy enough. Also, my engagement and wedding pictures were phenomenal.

In the search for our wedding photographer, we knew we wanted to find someone who was insanely talented, but also passionate, intuitive, creative, and professional. We also wanted to find someone who both celebrates and values love and the union of marriage!

Without question, we found all of these things plus MORE with Kelly and John Ginn of Kelly Ginn Photography!!! From wedding planning, the engagement session, the wedding weekend and now the final products….the entire wedding process ran effortlessly with the Ginn team!

As a creatively challenged person, I knew we needed to work with a photographer who is talented, passionate, deliberate and intentional in their work. Kelly and John embody all of these things! The Ginns took time to understand our vision for the weekend so that they could best capture the details, experiences and emotion. They were also so intentional in spending time to get to know us so that our personality and love would shine through our pictures. In sharing with our dream but inspired by their own imaginative vision, our pictures (engagement, rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception) captured every aspect of the weekend with flawlessness and finesse. With a perfect balance of originality and professionalism, our wedding weekend ran effortlessly with their command of the schedule and creative ability capture the love, excitement and fun we experienced…which we now will remember forever with our exceptional photographs! I do not know where to begin to describe how wonderful Kelly Ginn Photography was on my wedding day and throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were attentive and professional the whole time. They kept us on schedule and kept me calm when the storm rolled in and we could not do outdoor photos. Kelly assured me that they would all be gorgeous no matter what. They even went so far as to offer to get back together with us after our honeymoon and take more photos of us all dressed up! Just so we could have some outdoor photos. They seemed to be everywhere during the wedding. They did not miss a thing and got every photo that I wanted! They did all of this with a smile on their face and treating myself and Matt like we were their best friends. Now that I have seen the pictures, I am even more ecstatic that we booked Kelly Ginn Photography. I was able to relive a night that was a complete blur through their beautiful work. I found myself crying and laughing as I looked through the many amazing photos from that night and am so excited to have it documented so beautifully for the rest of our lives. You will not go wrong with Kelly Ginn Photography!

Kelly Ginn Photography = EVERYTHING you could possibly want in a photography company. Kelly's husband, John, is her second shooter/dress hanger/climber/whatever it takes for a magical shot. It's great having both a male and a female, especially for capturing dressing room pics and groom+groomsman shots! We used them for our engagement photos, as well as our wedding photos. (I highly recommend doing this!!!) They go the extra mile to truly get to know their brides and grooms. They made my (now) hubby and I feel so comfortable, when we would normally be super camera shy. This shows in our pictures! Kelly and John have a way of directing you, yet still keeping that natural feel & look. In the midst of all the wedding planning stress, the last thing I had to worry about was my photography vendor. That alone is priceless. To anyone who is thinking, "Everything is so expensive, I need a cheap photographer!"..I urge you to think about those people who go to a foreign country for plastic surgery because, hey, $200 lipo!! One word: BOTCHED. Don't let your wedding photos, the one thing that lasts beyond your wedding day (other than your marriage, we hope) be botched!!! I wouldn't recommend anyone but Kelly Ginn Photography!! Thank you, J&K, for capturing every moment of our special day. We are forever grateful!!!

We couldn't recommend Kelly Ginn photography enough! They were fantastic to work with and they should really charge significantly more for how wonderful everything turned out and how perfectly they captured our wedding day. They were beyond helpful throughout the whole planning process and their ability to anticipate our desires prior to and during the big day was a huge help for people like us who have a hard time figuring out what we want. They were also completely willing and able to work with us on specifics shots and schedule stuff that we knew we wanted. They did an engagement shoot for us as well. We were initially reluctant to do engagement photos but couldn't be happier that we did. Not only did they turn out perfect but Kelly made us feel so comfortable and by the time the wedding day arrived it was natural to be in front of the camera and our photographers were just part of the family. We seriously recommend doing an engagement shoot to help you get comfortable with the photographer prior to your wedding day. We had an amazing wedding and thanks to Kelly Ginn Photography we will be able to remember it's beauty through the magical photographs that they took for us.

Where do I even begin to describe how amazing Kelly Ginn Photography is? I have never met someone who runs a business quite like she does. Kelly and her husband, John, are so intentional about everything they do and they want YOU (the couple) to look back on your wedding day and remember it exactly how it happened. I can honestly say they were my best wedding investment. When it is all said and done, pictures are the one thing that remains from your wedding day -- and the love you have for one another (which Kelly does an amazing job of putting into pictures too). Working with Kelly is so natural and comfortable that you forget you are actually "posing" for pictures. They make it FUN! The passion they have for their couples/clients is a testament of how amazing they are. I truly believe they don't just show up to your wedding just because you paid them to, they show up because they love documenting love stories. But seriously, do yourself a favor and book Kelly Ginn Photography for your engagement and wedding pictures and you may even get some amazing friends in the Ginns from it.

On our wedding day, everything happened so quickly. It's funny to look back, because I don't remember a lot of it. Our nerves and excitement just took away all of the little details and turned them into a blur of a moment. Thank God that we had the Ginns to photograph and capture everything for us. When we received the photo album link to our personal wedding page, we were able to re-live every single moment of our wedding day. It was so magical! I knew that our day would be special, but in pictures, our day was almost unbelievable; those photos seemed like a beautiful dream.
Also, our wedding day was a planned outdoor event. Of course, the heavens decided to pour and thrash lightening and thunder on this day, but we made plans prior just in case! Anyway, Kelly and John insisted that we re-do our bride and groom photos when we returned from our honeymoon. They spent ANOTHER evening, on a DIFFERENT day, in ANOTHER beautiful location, taking photos of my husband and me. I don't know of anyone or any other photographer who would care THAT much?! Not to mention, they gave us an excuse to dress up in our wedding gown and suites. Again, re-living such a magical moment.

I'm so proud to have had them at our wedding. I don't think that I would have been this happy if I had chosen anyone else. Their dynamic and energy brings out the best in us, and it;s evident in our photos!

With them, it's all about making memories that you'll never forget. I'm so grateful, and I hope that every bride and groom gets to experience the Ginn's love and talents.
