One of the best decisions we made for our son’s wedding was to hire Kelli Burns!

We were so pleased with our experience with Kelli Burns as the DJ for our son’s wedding. From the beginning she was engaged in our vision for the night and delivered on all fronts. She is an accomplished DJ, keeping the dance floor crowded the whole night. The only disappointment was when she announced the last song! We would highly recommend her!

Best Ever!

We used Kelli Burns Entertainment for our 19Oct2019 wedding. They provided services for both the ceremony and reception.
The DJ for our event was Kelli Burns. She was wonderful from initial planning in Apr 2018 to our wedding. She really helped direct us along the way in song selections, ceremony input and overall design of our perfect day. We couldn’t decide on certain songs so she provided us lists of songs that met our genres and likes. She made the planning seamless.
She did a wonderful job the day of the wedding. It was perfect. She had our processional songs down to the timing that made my bridal entrance one of dreams. The up lighting made the room perfect for not only dinner but dancing. She kept the crowd dancing all evening. We couldn’t have imagined having anyone else as our DJ. I highly recommend Kelli Burns Entertainment!!

Kelli made our wedding the wedding that people will talk about for many years. There was never a time when the dance floor was empty. One word- FABU

Kelli played the music we requested, kept it fun, and really picked music and fun themes where everyone had a great time.

8/17/19 wedding

DJ Jonny Hartwell was the perfect fit for us from the start! From the “hug” intro instead of the typical “handshake” it made us feel right at home! Jonny is very out going and easy to communicate with whenever any questions should arise he responds right away!! He took every request we had and incorporated it into our special night making the wedding we dreamed for come true! Jonny is highly recommended if you want a professional DJ to read the crowd and keep everyone on the dance floor!! I have to admit our families don’t dance much from other family members weddings but Jonny kept them all out on the floor having a blast! Thanks again Jonny!!

Kelli Burns Entertainment was the BEST choice for a wedding DJ! We had DJ Jonny Hartwell and he was fantastic!! Great Ceremony and Reception Experience

Kelli and Jeremy were a pleasure to work with. Kelli helped us a lot with all aspects of the planning process, and had a lot of great suggestions when we were stuck on song choices. She was flexible with all of our requests and helped us customize all of the aspects we had asked for. Easy, simple, fantastic

Kelli was incredible to work with. You can tell that she loves her job and puts everything into it. From our introduction phone call, she knew which one of her DJ's would be perfect for us. Once we had our DJ, Jeremy, he was so easy to work with. He kept everything simple and every single thing that we wanted for our wedding was fulfilled. I would highly recommend this DJ for any wedding, party, or any other event. They are wonderful!

Choose Kelli!

Kelli was the epitome of wonderful. From our first meeting to our wedding day, she exceeded all of our expectations. She is pleasant, hardworking, and overall just a lovely person. She is sensitive to any family dynamics that might come in to play. She listens to you and creates playlists that keep the party going. She was the backbone of our wedding keeping the pace throughout the night. I cannot recommend Kelli enough. We hired a photobooth through her, too, that was fantastic!

We loved working with Kelli for a number of reasons. She is organized and detail oriented, fun and thoughtful.
Throughout the process we really felt as thought she listened to our preferences and our vision but also had great ideas to take the event to the next level.

Kelli Burns was hands down THE BEST DJ!!!!!! She was so kind, professional, thoughtful and knocked our expectations out of the park! If you want your night to flow smoothly and are looking for someone who will get the job done and deliver on their promises Kelli is a great choice. From cocktail hour onward she got guests moving to the right places and had them dancing the whole time. In the planning process, Kelli was very attentive to detail and responsive, easy to work with. Also, guests loved seeing a female DJ I would add, and remarked on what a great job she was doing, not something I normally hear at other weddings.

We had the pleasure of working with Kelli Burns and Jonny Hartwell while planning our wedding. I had experienced the incredible work that Kelli does when I was in a wedding that she worked. The dance floor was packed the whole night and the personal touches that she added were memorable. When I was able to start planning my own wedding, I got in touch with Kelli. She was very professional and courteous. We live in California and could not meet in person, so she set up a video chat to get to know us and introduce herself. She took the time to ask about our vision and which DJ would be the best fit for us. It was very easy to get ahold of Kelli and she was always prompt with her responses.

We ended up choosing Jonny Hartwell to be our DJ and we could not be happier! Jonny was everything that we wanted and more. He really took the time to get to know me and my husband. We were in constant contact and always made us feel like we were his priority. The day of the wedding, Jonny made sure everything ran smoothly. He helped keep us on track (timing wise) and kept our guests dancing all night. He even made his way around to the tables to see what type of music the guests would like to hear. Jonny is such a positive, fun guy to work with...we HIGHLY recommend him. We are so grateful to him for making our night truly unforgettable!

Kelli provided excellent ideas during the initial meeting. I ended up choosing Jonny as our Dj because friends of ours had him as their Dj and he was wonderful! Kelli is a great DJ but she is so much more. She is truly an event planner and has years of experience. She is very intuitive about when to make suggestions and help with the planning or sit back and support the couple involved. I would highly recommend her - she if very professional and she is a lot of fun. If those two things are important to you - then she is the right person.

We are so happy we found Kelly Burns Entertainment! Kelly and DJ Johnny Hartwell were great to work with. Johnny was very attentive leading up to our wedding and especially the day of! Our dance floor was constantly filled as our wedding party danced the night away. I've been to weddings where I'd leave feeling like the DJ only played a handful of good songs but ours was totally different. Every song was a good song! We had so much fun thanks to Johnny and got so many compliments! I couldn't have asked for a better night!

We booked Jeremy Czarniak of Kelli Burns Entertainment for our wedding and I cannot say enough about how absolutely fabulous it all was! From our first meeting with both Kelli and Jeremy, we felt that we had chosen a team of professionals that really knew what they were doing when it comes to weddings. They had tons of additional ideas for our reception that we didn't even think of doing! When it came time to make our music selections, Jeremy was able to get a sense of our taste/style right away! He was incredibly easy to work with and listened to everything we had to say. He also gave us wonderful suggestions to make our reception flow even better. On the day of our wedding, Jeremy nailed everything!!! The reception was even better than we could have imagined! We were concerned that people might not dance, but Jeremy picked all the right songs at all the right times and he had the dance floor packed the entire night. He was able to read the crowd and make adjustments when needed (i.e. playing some slower songs back to back, mixing some oldies with some newer songs). At one point during our reception, Jeremy had nearly the entire wedding on the dance floor singing Grease with the guys on one side and ladies on the other. It was so much fun! We had guests coming up to us throughout the night and even after the wedding asking if Jeremy could be the DJ at every wedding! Jeremy knows how to make a wedding reception flow smoothly and is able to make all the right adjustments when needed. I would highly highly recommend Jeremy and Kelli for anyone looking for a DJ that is professional, fun, and genuine! THANK YOU JEREMY!

We hired Jonny Hartwell from Kelli Burns Entertainment to be the DJ at our wedding reception, and we were VERY happy with our package! Jonny was in constant contact with us throughout the planning process and worked with us to pick songs for the dinner hour, bridal party entrances, cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss, dancing, and last song. There were a lot of helpful planning documents and song lists on Kelli's website which really helped us to get organized and make sure all of our requests were accounted for. Jonny worked with us to create a timeline for the entire reception and then led us through the night, making sure everything went smoothly. He also secretly worked with our moms and a few of our bridesmaids to organize some surprises for us throughout the evening. Our guests absolutely loved Jonny's upbeat personality and positive attitude - he even walked around during dinner, introducing himself to guests and asking for any special requests. It was Jonny's goal to get everyone out on the dance floor, and he played all the right songs at the right times to ensure that our guests were dancing all night long. He even made mixes of some of our favorite songs/artists which was really special and fun for us. Overall, everyone from Kelli Burns Entertainment was extremely organized, helpful, and friendly - we could not have been more pleased with our choice to hire Jonny and he made our reception the party of a lifetime!

I can't think of anything Kelli Burns Entertainment could have done better for our wedding! Kelli herself was SO responsive and involved in the planning process - you can really tell that she cares about her work and has a passion for making wedding days special. We used DJ Jeremy, who happens to be a friend as well. I know that Kelli only hires top-tier talent for her DJs. Jeremy, for example, is a professional actor and dancer. Needless to say, this experience with performing and theater was very helpful in his DJing at our wedding. He was so involved in the reception - from the special introductions he gave our wedding party members, to fun games throughout the night, to Jeremy joining the dance party and encouraging some karaoke, it was a perfect reception. Kelli talked to me in our original meeting about just how important a DJ is to a wedding reception. I cannot agree more, especially after the stellar job Jeremy did for ours! A DJ can make or break your wedding reception - know that you are in good hands with Kelli Burns and he wonderful team!

The ceremony started late, which set the entire reception off schedule. The DJ was flexible, helped work things out so it seemed seamless.

Jonny Hartwell was our DJ we used through Kelli Burns Entertainment. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing he was! His emcee lines for our bridal party, his commentary during the reception was ON POINT. His song selection kept everyone on the dance floor until the very last song- it was incredible! He did such a great job listening to us and guiding us throughout the whole wedding planning. He even went out on his own to contact the wedding coordinator at the Renaissance and met with her to get a good lay of the land down there. He truly went above and beyond for us, he really made our day so special :) There ended up being some last minute unfortunate events for us with family members and he really helped us handle it in the best way possible- we were so thankful!
Our guests were asking how they could get Jonny for their potential future weddings or other events in the future! He really made a lasting impression on us and our guests. We could not be more thankful.
Kelli and Jonny were reaching out to us during the past year to make sure everything was going well. Kelli and Jonny made the planning of our wedding that much easier and helped us to create the PERFECT night!

Harold was the DJ for my wedding on 12/31/14 - my husband and I are beyond thrilled with his services. We told him exactly what we wanted/expected and he absolutely rocked our wedding!! Our goal was for everyone to dance the night away and Harold made that possible. We received numerous compliments about the awesome music and also his fun/caring/positive personality. I wish I could get married once a year so we could use Harold again! He truly made our wedding the best day ever. From my first initial contact with Kelli, I could tell I was working a professional, well organized, communication based company. Kelli has great resources available to couples and lots of unique ideas to share!

Kelli did an amazing job from day 1. Kelli to the time to get to know my wife and I in the time leading up to our wedding, which helped to create the type of atmosphere that we were looking for. Kelli was very flexible and adaptable to set meeting times that would fit into our schedules. Kelli really did care about putting together the best wedding possible. Kelli was more than a DJ. Kelli was amazing! From our first consultation, my husband and I had a great feeling about her, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! Finding the right DJ was one of the most important and most difficult issues for us. We are both incredibly picky with our music (the phrase "control freak" would definitely apply). After surveying multiple websites, we felt it was very difficult to differentiate, and our planner recommended Kelli. We had several online meetings as well as a site visit and she was able to help with the sound system for our outdoor ceremony and did a FANTASTIC job with the music and keeping the party going. She has a great sense for the crowd and all of our guests were highly complimentary. She added a lot of personal touches, she is warm and friendly, an all around great person. I can't say enough great things about her!

Harold Purdy was the DJ/Master of Ceremony for our daughter's wedding. The wedding was perfect; it was magical. Everyone had a great time dancing. I was surprised to see so many guests at midnight; a testimony to the fun they had. Harold was a perfect Master of Ceremony/DJ.

I am sad that the planning is done and many friends that I made who helped me plan the wedding I will miss. Harold made the planning so easy. He is a professional. I don't expect to plan another wedding for a long time, but when I do Harold will be one of the first vendors I call!

We worked with Harold Purdy on our wedding. Early in the process, he told us that he took his job very seriously and he seemed to really understand weddings. We discussed many options for our wedding, including schedule, what to do, and of course music. He took note of everything we wanted, and never missed a detail, nor a name. He was superlative in both planning and execution, as I have to tell you that our wedding was incredible and that was mostly due to him. He was the one vendor that truly excelled. The music selection based largely but not entirely on our suggestions pleased a heterogeneous crowd, including many favorites from the 50's to the present, ranging from doo-wop to rap to folk to rock to pop, and both his selection and his arrangement of the music proved to be very effective during both dinner and dancing. Our wedding rocked. Many people told us they had a great time, and by watching all of the smiles on their faces both on and off the dance floor I know they weren't just being nice. I believe that that our guests will join both of us in remembering our wedding forever, and I don't see how anyone else could have beaten that. Thanks, Harold.

We had DJ Harold Purdy for our wedding an he was - PERFECT - AWESOME - AMAZING!!! I first saw him at my buddy's wedding, and thought he did a great job. Working with him on our wedding, we were really blown away by his personal touches. We had some special requests for a dance we put together, an anniversary dance, and some other stuff, and hit everything right on the nose. He played all of the songs perfectly, and he also gave a great personal touch to the wedding. The best thing was, that when the dance floor got going, he kept people there all night, with his club-like mixing of the songs. Needless to say, we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE!!!

As the bride and groom we heard over and over during the wedding ceremony/reception, at the after party the same night, at our Sunday brunch the next day, and still now.... "your DJ was awesome!"
Our DJ - DJ Jonny, was booked through Kelli Burns Entertainment. From our first encounter both Kelli and Jonny were approachable, helpful and friendly. Upon signing the contract for services for ceremony and reception we were given planning advice, help, and we could tell that they both truly cared. Jonny went above and beyond his "Services" outlined in the contract to make our day special and memorable. From texts and calls to "check-in" to custom mixes and songs - he truly helped to make our day perfect. Jonny told us when we first met; his goal was to be "our forever DJ"! He has met his goal. How can I begin to thank you for your outstanding performance on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Duquesne Power Center for Dave and Katie’s wedding? The playlist was exceptional. Numerous family and friends told us, called us the day after, and sent us messages saying they cannot remember dancing like that in years! All they could say was "Your DJ was unbelievable!!"

When we first spoke two years ago, we had discussed that the music for the evening was one of our top priorities. It was our desire to keep the dance floor full all night long. Dave and Katie wanted the opportunity to dance with each and every one of their guests. We wanted all our family and friends, regardless of their age, to dance until the last song was played. I can honestly say, you did not disappoint us on any of those goals. By meeting with us and mapping out the perfect time frame for the flow of events, you orchestrated the perfect wedding reception. We felt so confident entrusting our wedding reception into your hands. I have to admit, I did not know how you were going to get everyone back on the dance floor after the Bridal/Money Dance, but in the blink of an eye the entire venue was on its feet surrounding our beautiful couple in the center of the dance floor. It was truly an amazing event. From start to finish, we had the “time of our lives”!

If I could describe our wedding day in one word, it would be “FUN”. The venue was outstanding and truly magical for dancing the night away. I believe our guests felt amazing and told us they hadn't had this much fun in a long time. But most of all, I think we achieved that each and every guest felt loved. From the bottom of my heart, my deepest thanks and gratitude for all the time and effort you invested in taking all of our special requests and developing the perfect wedding reception for Dave and Katie.

Kelli was beyond amazing! She made sure we got everything we wanted and more. We wanted to have a non traditional reception and she provided tons of suggestions. We changed up the flower toss, sang love songs instead of clinking glasses, recorded messages to our parents during our dances with them, and much more. From our first meeting with Kelli, it was obvious that she took the responsibility of making our wedding reception one that would be memorable, unique and fun. And, it was! Kelli's professionalism and expertise allowed us to explore options for the evening's activities. Our guests were not just passive observers but active participants. Kelli was well prepared and prepared us as a couple well. The reception was so smooth and flowed along without a worry from the bride and groom. The best part of the event was how she kept the guests involved with the festivities and the enjoyment the guests are still expressing a year after the reception. Everyone had a great time.

Having you as a part of our wedding was the best decision we could have made. I had everyone asking me who my wedding planner was and they were referring to you! Dave was an AMAZING DJ! We wanted great music and a fun party without all of the traditional 'emcee' talking. We got an amazing party! People are still asking us about his great remixes! He kept the dance floor packed all night with guests of all ages and absolutely EVERYONE had a wonderful time! He was exactly what we were looking for!

Kelli Burns was the DJ at our recent wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with her services! From the initial meeting, I was very impressed with her level of professionalism and attention-to-detail. She provided us with a flash drive full of music ideas and a very helpful reception planning guide. She helped us plan personalized introductions for every member of our wedding party, so all of our guests knew a little something about everyone and why we had selected them to be in our wedding party. We told Kelli that we wanted everyone to get up and dance at some point during the reception, and she worked with us to make it happen. My husband and I wanted a lot of classic rock played at our reception, understanding that it isn’t the easiest music to dance to, but Kelli came up with creative ways to make it happen. As we got closer to the wedding date, Kelli met with us at the reception venue and helped us envision how the room would be laid out and how the reception would flow, which helped put me at ease. She provided us with a very detailed script, which helped synchronize all of our other vendors. At the last minute, my reception venue changed the room we were using, but Kelli easily adapted to the last-minute change. Kelli was amazing the night of the reception. She constantly checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking (i.e. the volume of the music, the timing of events, etc.). The reception flowed seamlessly and people we never expected to get up and dance were up and dancing! Kelli brought many personalized touches to our reception (raffling off the centerpieces, recognizing couples that had traveled a long distance, naming our first baby contest, etc). We received many, many compliments on our DJ, and many people commented that they had never had so much fun at a wedding reception! Kelli’s services are well worth the price. We are so happy we selected her!!

Kelli B was the DJ at my birthday party! She had to get her gear up in a driveway with kids running around everywhere. I was so concerned I would end up having a boom box be the music..ANNNNNDDDDD Kelli B--made everything work and come alive right on time!...Outstanding choice of music for the whole night, and not a single neighbor complaint!..They ended up joining us due to the music choice..I hope Kelli B is around when I am 65!!!

DJ Jonny Hartwell was excellent. Our initial meeting with him was very pleasant and he clearly paid great attention to our wants. He played all the music we requested and mixed in other appropriate music. He kept the kids happy with a number of fun activities and managed to get the adults on the dance floor as well. Overall, we were extremely pleased with having him at our event and received many compliments from attendees about his work.

We worked with DJ Harold Purdy for both our rehearsal dinner and reception. My husband and I had a taste for the unusual for our wedding music- a mix of modern indian dance music and euro/american electronic dance music. Harold was super patient with us and spent time with us via email, telephone and FaceTime working with us to make our vision for our party come true. He really knows how to throw a party!

We could not of asked for a better DJ than Kelli! She put a lot of time and effort into getting to know us as a couple and understanding our style of what we wanted. She was easy to communicate with and get ahold of. In times of unanticipated chaos, she kept us on track and kept things flowing nicely. We spent the majority of the night on the dance floor and I know our guests loved it! Outstanding service -highly recommend!!

We loved our DJ, Harold Purdy -- he made our evening so wonderful and kept the dance party going all night long! It was great to be able to book additional services, such as extra uplighting, at the same time. Kelli and Harold and the whole team were responsive and easy to help - they gave us some great suggestions that we ended up using on our big day (such as the uplighting colors and order of events at the reception). Definitely get in touch with them about your big day!

She went above and beyond throughout the entire process from our first consult meeting through our wedding day. All of our wedding guests raved about how awesome she was and a few even asked us if we were friends with her before the wedding! I would say that if you want a DJ who is the full package and will take charge so that you can relax and enjoy your reception, choose Kelly. She did a phenomenal job from the moment we walked in until the end of the night. She had everyone on the dance floor from kids to my husband's 92 year old grandma. She took requests and had everyone laughing and handled issues as they arrived. I would recommend her a thousand times over for a fantastic event of any kind. Kelly is truly the best DJ I've ever seen. That's why we hired her. Worth every penny.

The entire experience working with Kelli and our DJ Scott Alexander was professional, easy, and smooth. We had an initial meeting with Kelli where she found out our needs and preferences, and from there she recommended a specific DJ to fit our event. Scott Alexander was fabulous! My husband and I did not have to worry about anything at all during the reception. He made sure everything ran smoothly, and the music he played was perfect. He was approachable, so guests frequently made song requests. So many of our friends and family commented that it was THE MOST fun they have ever had at a wedding -- there was a great group of dancers the whole reception, which was an accomplishment because we held an afternoon reception so it was completely light out the whole time! Kelli also checked in frequently during the planning process to make sure we were on track. Everything was great!! I will say that her prices are more expensive than other DJ services we looked at, but I think it was totally worth it. We wanted a great party, and that's exactly what we had!!

Kelli did the lighting for our reception and one of her DJ's Harold handled the entertainment. The lights ended up looking beautiful and Kelli came out more than once to make sure we liked the look of the lights. We had been to a friend's wedding where Harold was the DJ and knew we wanted to hire him for ours. These services weren't cheap, but the quality was excellent. They were communicative with us, flexible with their time and services, and listened carefully to what we wanted. They also delivered. We got many compliments on the DJ and the music choices from our guests. So many of our guests, young and old alike, stayed all night and danced the whole time. Everyone seemed to have a great time, and Kelli and Harold definitely helped us make that happen.

Honest, upfront, professional and a great DJ. This was money very well spent. Put simply, DJ/MC Kelly Burns was perfect.

Kelly not only accommodated all our ideas/requests but added the backbone for the ceremony. As stated in our first meeting the DJ/MC can make or break the wedding and we were happy to spend the money on this service.

Everyone was dancing. Kelly's setup can match any venue and her skills can adapt to any scenario. Our wedding was a formal, 100 person event in a large historic house. Her equipment was not intrusive, it matched the surroundings, she blended in perfectly. The music was on cue, the announcements were executed on time and as discussed.

The entire flow of our reception could not have been executed without the work of Kelly. Remember the music can be intrusive and awkward if not done right. Kelly will make sure she has enough information/knowledge of the couple/venue/event to accommodate any change in plan during the night. Don't skimp on the music services. You will regret it. Kelly is definitely not the cheapest option but the price was fair for the extraordinary work.

You know the music/DJ/MC is good when:
1. Even people that don't generally dance are shaking it
2. Everybody says "the music was great"
3. Nobody says "the DJ was bad"
4. Everyone knows what is going on during the night without being told what to do
5. The music matches the mood
6. All requests are answered
7. You feel as if the music/event was like a scene from a great movie

There were a few issues with understanding information.......perhaps due to vendor being busy. It was a little unsettling as it was close to the date. However, it worked out well. Our guests thought the DJ was great....more of an MC. Her suggestions and scripting were excellent ideas....very well received.
