  Wedding Weekend

  Kelly was amazing to work with! As the bride I was not stressed at all because I knew she had everything under control! We honestly couldn’t have had the perfect wedding day we did without her assistance! Not only was she our coordinator but she also officiated or wedding! My aunt who is retired from the wedding industry said Kelly was the best coordinator she has ever worked with so that speaks volumes! We will honestly miss working with her!

  Kelly is absolutely amazing!

  Kelly was absolutely amazing to have as our officiant. She was available on a short notice and great at communication to help us pull everything together in a timely manor. I would 100% recommend her to anyone in the area. Thank you for helping us make our wedding day special!

  Everything we wanted

  Kelly is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond. Our ceremony was beautiful. It was heartfelt, personalized and we truly felt that Kelly took the time to make it special for us. From our first call we knew she would be a great fit for our day. We received compliments over and over again from our guests on how beautiful the ceremony was and how our “officiant” did a wonderful job. I would hire her 100x over and recommend to anyone getting married in the area, hire Kelly. You will feel as though she is truly apart of your day and cares about making your ceremony special.

  Beautiful Ceremony

  Kelly is truly amazing. She is very professional and a great communicator. She did a wonderful job with our ceremony and we still receive compliments on how beautiful it was. She was able to guide us through the process and it made our planning easier having her be as organized as she was. Thank you again for a wonderful ceremony that we will always remember!

  Kelly is amazing!

  Kelly recently officiated our ceremony on July 1, 2023, and we could not have imagined a more perfect day. We were already civilly married prior to our planned big day but were looking for something fairly simple to give us that wedding ceremony experience. Throughout the planning process Kelly was responsive, professional, organized, an absolute PLEASURE to work with. She had such a warm energy that made us feel super comfortable in our choice right from the very beginning. We wanted to keep our ceremony quick, light, and fun but not sacrifice the emotional elements and Kelly’s script options delivered on just that. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple through phone and Zoom calls and even had us both write our own personal portion of the vows that we had kept secret from each other until the ceremony when she incorporated them into her script. Our whole experience with Kelly was super laid back, personal, and most importantly, fun! We highly, highly recommend reaching out to Kelly if you are looking for an officiant!

  Amazing experience

  Use KD Events for Your Wedding! Really!

  We were coming from out of state to elope on the beach at the tip of Old Mission Peninsula, and wanted to find an officiant to perform a simple ceremony - with only about 2 months' notice. In the time leading up to our special day, Kelly ushered us through the process of figuring out exactly what elements we wanted in our ceremony, and provided exactly the right mix of incorporating our vision, while also giving her expert guidance. We met with her over Zoom, exchanged emails several times, and worked on our wedding script together. She totally put us at ease. She is incredibly warm, responsive, and has a wealth of expertise and "mad skillz". We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelly, who helped us turn our elopement into an amazingly joyful, meaningful wedding. We are so thrilled to have found KD Events and grateful to Kelly for helping make our day transcendent and perfect! Whether your wedding is big, small, or anywhere in-between, we cannot recommend her enough to anyone who is looking for just the right planner/officiant!

  Kelly is the best!

  I'm not sure how we got so lucky to stumble upon Kelly while searching for Northern Michigan Officiants, but I could not be happier with our choice! She was so organized, kind, and her speaking skills were amazing! I'm a wedding photographer and have seen a lot of ceremonies, and I was beyond impressed by Kelly. I could go on and on, but I'll say that would absolutely recommend her to any bride!

  My husband and I hired Kelly as our wedding officiant. Aside from her kindness, and sweet personality, the first impression we had of Kelly was that she is EXTREMELY organized. Kelly delivered that same sweet personality, and organization at our wedding rehearsal and the day of our wedding. Kelly asked us several questions and went over a lot of details to make sure our wedding ceremony was set custom to us as a couple. Our wedding ceremony vision came to life by Kelly, and we are so thankful for that. We both HIGHLY recommend hiring Kelly for your wedding day!
