We loved KCs Ribshack at our wedding! Their food was amazing and they left us with MORE than enough leftovers! Very reasonably priced too! -

The BBQ for the wedding was delicious and everyone seemed to love it. The cornbread is better than a lot of the BBQ places in the area (the jalapeno's are a nice touch). They did not disappoint and were very responsive anytime I needed to contact them. -

My wedding was a laid back party kind of style. Having KC's Ribshack for the food was perfect! The quality of the food does not go down when it comes to the large amount we had. At the time, I believe it was a $200 down payment and then only $19 a person (we had 100 guests) and we were left with tons of leftovers that we ended up just freezing and using for months after the wedding!
They bring a truck to your venue and cook and barbeque everything right there.
So so so good! -

Kevin from kC's ribshack was wonderful to work with. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. He was even able to accommodate a special dietary request from one of my guests. My guest are still raving about the food!! -

AMAZING! That's all there is to say about this place...the food and service is always great when going to the actual restaurant, which my husband and I fell in love with. We decided that we wanted them to cater our wedding, which is a little scary because there's always those restaurants that are great but shouldn't cater. NOT THE CASE! They showed up on time and nailed it. People STILL talk about the food and workers. We had so much left over we were able to have a midnight snack and doggy bags. Love, love, love KC's! -

We had a wonderful experience with KC's BBQ! They did a fabulous job catering our wedding and our guests keep telling us how incredible the food was! We got the trifecta package, which included 3 meats (pulled pork, chicken on the bone, and sausage), 4 sides and cornbread. It was delicious! The staff was friendly, they showed up on time, and they placed all leftovers in to-go containers for late night food. We also hired a server through KC's to help with clearing tables and refill water for our guests. We are so glad we used KC's BBQ for our wedding- delicious food and great price! -

KC's catered our wedding in August at Lake Shore Village Resort. The food was amazing! They brought their truck and grills to finish the cooking right on-site and left us with so many leftovers! Everyone LOVED the idea of a BBQ buffet, especially the brisket! -

Disappointed
Not good bbq… for $140 the ribs should be melting off the bone… not authentic southern bbq… not fresh, everything was room temperature and tough . Waitress was nice. Will never be back. Really disappointed and disgusted in the food -

I would NOT recommend KC's Rib Shack for any wedding or event catering. They are unprofessional & do not deliver to their promises. I started emailing KC's in April 2015 to setup a caterer for my September 2016 wedding. I sent them a deposit in April 2015 & was sent an invoice with specific prices. Communication was less-than-desirable between April 2015-September 2016; sometimes it would take a week to get a response email. A week before my wedding, I got an email from the catering assistant, Amie, who said she was confirming everything & sending an updated invoice. My new invoice had a price increase of $3/plate. This was told to us ONE WEEK before the wedding. Amie basically said that the prices I received in April 2015 were a computer error & "the new prices are listed on the website". When I pointed out that my invoice was a legal contract with prices listed, she basically had no response except that I should have checked their website. My mother called & spoke with Amie, who said she couldn't even find our reservation on 9/24 for the wedding catering. My mother then asked to speak to the owner, Kevin, who basically took all the details down about the wedding & re-booked it at that time. Kevin also gave the excuse of "you should have checked the website" for the pricing change. The day of the wedding, the catering crew all showed up late. They told my step-father there was bad traffic, but then let it slip to our best man that KC's had actually over-booked themselves that day for catering, which caused the delay. Because they were late, dinner started late, which cut into the reception & many of our guests left before the reception could even start. The day after the wedding (on my honeymoon), Amie called with a billing question, even though she had all my parents contact info. They never asked if the food was good or if it went okay. Overall, it was a horrible catering experience that really took away from the happiness of the most important day of my life. -

First and last visit
Why would you trust them to handle the food for your wedding when they cant even run a resturant
I went to eat here when doing a collage visit with my daughter on 3/23/19. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived for lunch after our collage tour. When they went to seat us we were taken upstairs ( that’s were the bar is ) I proceeded to tell the guy seating us that my daughter was only 16 he made it sound like a big deal if we wanted to wait for a set in the restaurant, after we sat down I looked around the bar and she was the only teenager in there so a nice lunch turned out to be a day at the bar with my daughter I really hope the owner reads this and I wouldn’t eat at this sh!t whole ever again what a bunch of idiots what next car seats on the bar,,follow up I have emailed them and they offered a refund I told them I lived three hours away and they could stick the forty dollars you know where they also told me it is common to seat family in the BAR SO ON A SATURDAY AT LUNCH TIME WHY WAS MY DAUGHTER THE ONLY TEENAGER IN THE BAR REALLY I HOPE THE OWNER READS THIS -
