Literally the best cake I’ve ever tasted!!!

I was sold when I found her website that showed how skillful she was when the crafting of her cakes and the amount of detail she puts into her cakes. She was very responsive and we made arrangements to do a trial of her most popular cakes. All delicious!!! It was so hard to choose but we chose correctly. Such a delicious cake!

Kay is incredible!

Our cake was BEAUTIFUL and so delicious. When working with Kay, she makes you an anniversary cake to save and enjoy. She is very talented, I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

One of a Kind!

Kim (KC Cake Lady) made the most beautiful cake for our wedding. She made it customized to my fiance's Air Force uniform and the end result was spot on! During our cake tasting, we loved every single flavor of cake and frosting. Her cake decorating skills can't be beat. We are so happy we hired KC Cake Lady!

KCCakeLady is an extra special cake artist who can make the fantastical come true!

Kim is an amazing cake artist, and in my opinion--an engineer! I had a difficult request for a gothic steampunk cake for my husband's birthday and she blew us away! Pictures don't do it justice. Everything from the edible jolly rancher crystal that lit up in the dark, to the hand-built rhinestone cake plate, the mini spotlights and realistic intricate details made this cake over the top. Not to mention it was delicious. I will definitely be reaching out to KCCake Lady for all of my important events. We can't recommend her enough. A MILLION STARS!

Ms. Kim was great to work with. She always kept a line of communication open and was very easy to work with. She executed our cakes to perfection! Everyone raved about how good they were. We shared our ideas and she let us know what would be best by still coming up with ideas to design our cakes the way we wanted. I highly recommend her services.

Fantabulous

Where do I begin.. our cake was EVERYTHING and then some! I had no idea what I was wanting and she helped me think of a design and I found a picture online of what we wanted and she delivered exactly that! The cake was the most tastiest we’ve had and are still getting compliments on how great the cake was! Completely grateful and thankful we found KC Cake Lady and are now only using for all celebrations in the future! Could have been happier! Our nephew only cared about the cake and would not leave that table until we cut it and he got a piece! We did three flavors wedding white, pink champagne, and chocolate chip and all were hits!!! Thank you thank you!!

Wedding Cake

Kim made our wedding cake and grooms cake! She was very responsive and easy to work with. I sent her pictures and the cakes were even better in person! Our grooms cake looked like a Bob Ross painting. Not only did they look great, they tasted amazing and many people complimented! You can’t go wrong with using her for your wedding!

She made a cake a couple months following our wedding for a small wedding reception with friends from far away and it was also great!

Cake filled weekend

I can't say enough good things. Not only are KCCakeLady's cakes incredible to look at (seriously such talent), but they are also absolutely delicious. I've ordered 2 cakes from her and they were both the hit of the party! She was incredibly responsive, flexible and friendly too. I will never go anywhere else! Needless to say, I 100% recommend KCCakeLady!

Daughter's Wedding

KC Cake Lady is my go to when I have a special occasion. She did both my son's wedding and my daughters wedding. I highly recommend her! Many flavors of cake to choose from and you can send her the design and she replicates it. I feel so lucky to have found her to help make my kids special days perfect!

Amazing cakes!

Kim, thank you so much for making a perfect replica of a Jameson bottle and a (huge) Cuban cigar cake for my husband’s birthday! It was a big hit with everyone at the party. Our guests were shocked they were actually cakes based on how realistic they looked. Beautiful, and delicious too!

Great Cake Artist!

Not only did I get some good ideas from her, she answered questions within minutes, delivered the cake on time, has a variety of choices but mostly cake and frosting tasted amazing! The cake is was all gone and everyone was very impressed with the airplane themed design.

WOW! Such a thorough, hardworking, and trustworthy vender!

SOOO HAPPY! Was able to surprise my veteran husband on our wedding day with the most amazing grooms cake! Kim was able to recreate the helicopter my marine worked on! He was SHOCKED - not to mentioned impressed with such amazing work! She delivered and had everything set up without me even knowing! We received a discount for his service and it was just a true privilege to work with Kim! If you need a professional, prompt, no-nonsense vendor to take care of your cake, KC Cake Lady is the way to go! Her response to my emails was incredibly fast, she answered all of my questions, and the price was very competitive. With very little guidance from me, she provided a BEAUTIFUL cake. It was delicious, and I got lots of compliments on the flavor! Overall, it was a great experience and I would go with Kim for any event!

As a wedding planner, I have seen and tasted a ton of cakes...Kim's cakes are by far one of my favorites. I send all my clients to her and have even used her for my daughters special day. Kim takes pride in her work and it shows with EVERY cake.

I consider myself a cake connoisseur and Kim exceeded my super high expectations! Not only was the cake gorgeous (and had plenty of bling), but it tasted even better! I would recommend KCCakelady to anyone. I would also recommend her strawberry cake with champagne buttercream, and red velvet. Absolutely phenomenal with a close attention to detail. I will definitely be ordering a cake from her in the future! ❤️

Kim made the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen for our wedding day. She did it based on a sketch I drew, and even found the materials to make it way more beautiful than I imagined. Even better, she gave us the most affordable cake quote. She is incredibly professional and responsive. I planned an event for 150 people from out-of-town. The owner, Kim Marks, was extremely responsive to all of my emails. I sent her pictures of what I wanted (an American Flag cake), and she created it perfectly! It was delivered on time, beautifully made with every detail, and it was DELICIOUS! Thank YOU Kim!

If you're looking for cake that's flavorful and reasonably priced, you must book Kim. My husband and I wanted cupcakes for our wedding day. We tried 4 places before we met with Kim. Some places we tried had no flavor, others were outrageously priced. We knew when we tried Kim's cake, she was the one. We had 6 different flavors of cupcakes at the wedding, and they were all so good. We had so many compliments about the cupcakes. Pumpkin, red velvet with chocolate chips and chocolate with chocolate filling were my favorite. She can make anything you want! Go with Kim!

We've used Kim, KCCAKELADY, for both of my daughters' weddings. The most recent was this past weekend. Kim's cakes are not only gorgeous but absolutely the best tasting cakes I've ever eaten. Each cake was made to the perfection of the description the brides gave her. She is always available to answer questions and reliable on delivery. We used Kim in August 206 for our wedding cake. It was absolutely gorgeous and beyond delicious. I am a snob when it comes to buttercream, and Kim's buttercream is the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. The cake was amazing too! We loved the almond and coconut flavors. I highly recommend her and we look forward to using her for years to come.

Kim was very easy to get in touch with, and responds very quickly to questions! She was willing to give suggestions and feedback when I wasn't sure about the look of the cake I wanted. We used KCCAKELADY for our wedding last June. She was flexible and offers a wide variety of options. My husband had a mario theamed cake and it turned out so much better than we could have imagined! On top of the cakes being artfully decorated they tasted amazing! If you give KCCAKELADY a try I highly reccomend the buttercake with champagne cream filling! After almost a year wedeing guests are still complimenting our cakes!

KCCakeLady is a MUST HAVE for your wedding or event!!! I can not say it enough! Kim delivered us the most perfect wedding cake! I reached out to our local wedding community looking for a Cake Designer and Kim was highly recommended. I messaged Kim and within minutes we had started dialogue about what I wanted. We met for our cake tasting and oh my! Every flavor was DELICIOUS! We picked four flavors for our 4 tier cake and cupcakes. Everything was so easy! Our venue was about 45 minutes outside the city so Kim delivered our cake on site. The cake looked STUNNING!! People are still raving about how scrumptious and moist our wedding cake was! Kim was AMAZING to work with! She was quick to respond and was able to recreate what we envisioned for our wedding cake and grooms cake! We changed the flavors on her twice and she didn't hesitate to make those changes for us. She was fair priced for the cakes we ordered. We had a 3 tier cake (rather large) and a 1/2 sheet cake. She delivered the cakes the venue on time and even put our cake topper on for us. She was just amazing to work with and her cakes tasted wonderful! I would highly recommend her! When my husband and I start having children, she is without a doubt, who we will go with for 1st birthday cake/smash cake! LOVED HER!

The KCcakelady is amazing! Our cake became a major attraction at our wedding! Everyone loved how yummy and beautiful it was! We can't thank Kim enough! She is such a joy to work with! The proof in her incredible work is, not only did we have Kim create our wedding cake she also made cupcakes and a cake for my bridal shower and helped me secretly pick out a surprise Batman grooms cake! Kim helped make our day so special! Our photographer could not believe how beautiful and yummy the cake was so we have a ton of beautiful pictures to share! The wedding cake was exactly what I wanted. She worked with me to find the photographs that we agreed upon to make my vision come to life. Our guests were highly complimentary of the design of the cake and all commented how moist and tasty the cake was. The cake was yellow with a strawberry filling to go with the "picnic" theme of our event. I highly recommend this vendor.

She was very quick to respond to me and had no trouble with the date needed for the order or a time on picking up the order. She did a really great job on the cupcakes and everyone at the dinner loved them! A few people even said they looked too pretty to eat! My wedding cake was absolutely beautiful! I gave Kim a picture of what I wanted and a list of tweaks. She was able to create an amazing cake that tasted delicious. I still go back and look at photos of my cake in awe! The best thing about it, she was able to work with me on cost to find a price I could afford without skimping on what I wanted. Will def. recommend and use her again for other cake needs.

I would without a doubt hire kccakelady! From beginning to end she was amazing! She met right away with us for a cake tasting which was very delicious! Anytime I had a question she responded very quickly and was very helpful and our wedding cake turned out amazing! Her work is absolutely beautiful and prices are great too! Kim is an amazing person to work with and her cakes are exceptional! She has made multiple cakes for my family from birthdays to weddings. She is very flexible and has many flavor options to choose from. She does a cake testing with you before your event and her cakes are delicious. I love that she doesn't use fondant, because it makes the cake that much better! I have never been disappointed with any of her cakes and will always choose her as my go to person for a personal cake!!

I have been getting cakes from kim for the last 6 years for both my children's birthdays. Best cake ever! Every year my kids come up with what they want for a cake design and every year kim amazes us with the quality of work she does. My wedding cake was everything I wanted! I showed Kim a picture of what I wanted and she made it just how I wanted! The cake was delicious too. All buttercream and everyone loved the flavors. My husband and I love lemon so we definitely wanted lemon. Not a lot of my family likes lemon and they even loved it! Kim was very easy to talk to and get ahold of and ask questions to and she made great suggestions. I now have a cake lady I will go to for everything!

We have ordered two cakes from KC CakeLady and both times they turned out beautiful!! Her prices are amazing for the quality! We plan to can you do use her for our children's birthday party cakes! My daughters eyes lit up when she saw her sisters birthday cake done by KC CakeLady! Ever since my oldest keeps asking me about her birthday cake and even gets on her toy cellphone and acts like she's on the phone and hands it to me to order her cake! So cute! You can tell she puts a lot of love into her cakes down to every small detail. She makes the event her cakes are for that much more special! Not only was my son and daughter-in-law's cake beautiful - it was delicious! I sent Kim a photo off pintrest and she used her creativity as an artist, and glamorized it to "our bride" for her colors and sparkle! The flavors for each layer were amazing, and the cake its self was so moist and flavorful. The strawberry cream filling was so good with the white cake! We didn't have any left over, as everyone kept coming back up for another piece! Kim was so easy to work with, and on the wedding day we just left the flower, cake topper on the cake table and when she delivered the cake she assemble the cake beautifully! We didn't have to do a thing!

I have admired Kims cakes for many years. I finally had the opportunity to have one just recently and I can tell you not only are they the most amazing artistically but I have never had more delicious cake ever. She is extremely talented and is an absolute perfectionist. I am commissioning a cake for my husbands birthday and she has been easy to work with, flexible and just so willing to try anything. Kim has been making cakes for our family for 4 years! We are over the top with our kids birthdays and I am a perfectionist sort. Very few people can please me. I have high standards and am not easily impressed. Kim is not a cake maker. She is an artist! She can create anything! Her prices are better than anyone around and her cake is delicious! Try to find someone else who can do their cake decorating all in butter cream! She is a one of a kind! We use her for all our cakes. So, I bet she has made at least 10 cakes for me and ever one of them was perfect! Use her! Pay her well and stay in her good graces! We pay for our cakes 6 months ahead some times just to make sure she can do our event! She is the best there is in this city!

I could not have been happier! I originally had very specific ideas in mind for the cake but when I was looking for a baker and started going through her reviews and saw all of the amazing cakes that she has created I decided to just tell her the basics and let her have fun with it! So glad I did! She created this amazing piece! We had a lot of other aspects of planning our wedding go wrong that it was all very stressful, so being able to just relax and rely on someone else (for the cake anyway) was so nice. I still can't believe how beautiful it was and I had people complementing it all night. But not only did it look good, it tasted amazing as well! We did a white cake for ours and then supplemented with German chocolate and carrot cake sheets because of the large guest list. I don't think there was even a crumb left over! I fully plan to suggest KcCakelady to friends and family, and I know where to go for any future cake needs.

I have had Kim create unique cakes for me on a couple of occasions and I just let her take the reigns. She never disappoints. Not only are the cakes delicious, the designs are unique for each event. For my daughter, I just provided some colors and themes she liked and she created a one of a kind cake for her bday. She also made a 'grill' cake for my husband that included a shishkabob, steak and glowing coals in the grill! You won't be disappointed!

I remember tasting my sister's wedding cake and couldn't believe how amazing it was, probably the best cake I've ever had, seriously. So when my wedding came around I didn't even hesitate to contact KC Cake Lady! I cannot say enough about Kim...she is amazing to work with, professional, very quick to respond, beyond talented and can make just about anything you want (i've gone through her online cake photos multiple times, she is very talented!) Bonus is that she can make cakes so smooth with buttercream and not having to use fondant - yay! Let me just say that the cake flavors and buttercream icing were so yummy and our guests couldn't stop commenting on how delish the cake was. I have referred all my friends to Kim! And if that doesn't sell her, then her prices will - best value in town! I've gone back to her for an anniversary cake and it was the same quality as my wedding cake. Kim is the one to go to for any occasion!!! I live in another state now, so I am sad that I'm not able to get her amazing cakes any more but you can bet I'll find a reason to get her cake when I visit KC!!! :)

Kim made a Lady Bug cake for my daughter's first birthday and worked with to make sure we got just what we wanted. She was very conscious of nailing done colors and design. She showed a great deal of love and pride in her work. We love the fact that she prides herself in staying away from fondant, and using only butter cream when possible. I have a friend who haves her make all her cakes, for parties and special occasions. Her cakes are fabulous.

I would highly recommend ordering a cake from the Cake Lady. She made my daughter's bridal shower cake, and it turned out perfect just from a picture we had given her. The Cake Lady also made the "Groom's" cake and it was just perfect! I gave her a few ideas of what we wanted and she went from there. And, the wedding cake was wonderful and it was fresh, moist and looked wonderful. Exactly, what my daughter wanted. Note: her prices were half the price per slice than a large bakery. And, I was not dissapointed at all in the quality or anything.

Kim is awesome in every way! She was very easy to work with. She communicated with us from beginning to end. Her prices can not be beat, and the CAKE WAS WONDERFUL!! Our guest kept talking about how great the cake and cupcakes were. She executed our vision of the cake perfectly. She is a true professional and wonderful baker. I am glad she was part of our amazing day!!

Absolutely delicious cake and it was presented beautifully Our Guest couldn't say enough good things about the quality of the cake. She had many choices and priced very reasonable. We were extremely happy with our choice and we plan to use Kccakelady again for other occasions.

Personally I find it VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to smoke around a product you are selling. Our cake came with a hulk fist on top and the other hulk fist came in a very smoke filled bag. How can I be sure she did not smoke while baking my cake. I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. I am STILL trying to get the smoke smell out of BOTH of the hulk fists and it is a week AFTER my party. I find it disgusting and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! She was not very flexible when we asked to change some of the characters on the superhero cake, first saying she would for a $40 "upcharge" then all of a sudden changing her mind and saying NO. She did not seem to have professional/business etiquette either, when my husband met with her for a tasting she did not bother getting up to greet him and chose to text him that she was right behind him when she could have just spoke to him. I expect a certain amount of professional and respect from people I do business with and I will NEVER use this business again. Cakes look great. Our cake looked pretty nice. And I have question the idea of bringing a cake in a cake box then TAKING THE BOX BACK!! How was I supposed to take the rest of the cake home after the party and is that box {that was used already for my cake} going to be reused for another cake? I was not very happy with the service. If you want a pretty cake this is your gal, if you want professionalism go somewhere else. Sorry I cannot comment on the taste of the cake I never ate it, we ended up giving an entire layer to the local fire department and threw away what was left from the layers that people ate from.

"Im guessing your hurting for cash to pay for such a venue that uses plastic patio tables from Dollar Tree? Very unstable table in a cramped, high traffic area.
Good bye, again have a Blessed Day" This was Kim's response when I emailed her advising her the cake was not the cake I ordered and the top tier was so big it was cut because it was no way supposed to be an anniversary cake that size. And also the cake was leaning and the top tier was not leveled. She blamed it on the cake being moved but it wasn't moved, only a skirt was added around the table. I told her all I wanted her to do was acknowledge the fact she made a mistake and apologize, not once even mentioning a refund. She refused because she said everyone thought the cake was beautiful. It wasn't that it was an ugly cake but that for $350 it was just not as ordered. She was very rude
