Overland Park Chapel

He had a small ceremony with our closest family and friends at their Overland Park chapel. The chapel is beautiful. Stained glass everywhere you look, plus lanterns and candles. Are ceremony was perfect. Pastor Nancy is so kind and so loving. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Excellent and caring and fair pricing

Unfortunately, the friend hosting my visit to MO (from VA) had to go into quarantine and my event had to be cancelled. Julia was amazing to talk to and was so flexible. I am truly saddened to not have met her in person. I wish she could come out to NC!

Pastor Nancy is amazing. She did my proxy. Weeks before I came she gave me the recommendation of where to stay, and it was in the center of everything. I could walk everywhere. She picked me up from the Airport and dropped me off when it was time for me to leave. I felt like I had already known her. She is a beautiful person inside and out. If you get the chance to use her services don’t think twice! Book her!! She is the best!!! Thank you so much Pastor Nancy!!

Pastor Nancy gave us the ceremony of our dreams. She is kind, knowledgable and in line with our values. She even let us include our pup.

I was so disheartened by my search for a wedding in KCMO that I was ready to just pay the $75 to just get the paper signed with two witnesses to be done with it.
Then I met Nancy and Meg. They were so gracious and understanding it was overwhelming how flexible they were and how cute there space was. It was a large room the size of a living room with a beautiful backdrop with Hollywood lighting. I knew right away I would be comfortable and happy to get married there. I told them my budget and they gave me my options. We discussed what was really important to me for my wedding day and they not only were accommodating but gave more than I would have ever thought of.

They had just opened a new chapel at 204 North Liberty, a block away from their main place, and offered to do our wedding there. It is a steampunk, rustic room with a large area for the bride to get ready in private, barn door walkway, amazing chandeliers, and wall art. It was so beautiful.... everything went so well. We were even given a lock to place on the metal picture on the wall and throw away the key. My husband was very pleased because all of his friends and family are out here in the MO and KS area and he wanted to invite them if they could make it short notice.Our little wedding turned to something his Grandmas described as, "Better than it would have been getting married in Buckingham Palace." I couldn't agree more. It was so beautiful and we will treasure that day for the rest of our lives. Thank you both for making our day so wonderful.

We were very impressed with the immediate response and service we received with KC Weddings2Go. It was more than convenient, highly efficient & overall accommodating. We were needing a very short, non-ceremonial marriage on the spot, & were met by Pastor Nancy who was able to meet all of our needs at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone planning to wed, whether you're planning a big or small wedding, or no wedding at all. This was perfect for us, thank you Pastor Nancy!

I stumbled upon Pastor Nancy when looking for a chaplain to marry my fiance and I in Miami County, Spring Hill, Ks on line.
What a nightmare thatt was! I am comvinced god delivered Pastor Nancy to us!
Lucky to have found her, I was totally stressed out , wanted something small and intimate.
She walked me through the whole thing, her studio couldn't have been more perfect, right down to the song playing in the background when we walked in. The service was her, my fiance, and god.
She said the most heartfelt, beautiful things that will stay with my husband and I forever! I would recommend her to anyone!

Hey all of you grooms out there, if you are helping to plan your wedding, I definitely want to suggest. you check out KCweddings2go. We went with the intimate package and that got us Pastor Nancy as our officiant, photography with 40 hi-res images, and a seriously sweet bouquette and boutonniere. Pastor Nancy was amazing and everything went perfectly. We were both extremely pleased.

My husband is from Mexico & is bilingual. Many of his family members were coming for the wedding & speak only Spanish. It was important that they felt included so we searched for a bilingual officiant. We found KCWeddings2go & Pastor Nancy. She performed 1/2 the ceremony in English & 1/2 in Spanish. She was so warm & friendly & her prices so reasonable for everything we got. We chose the Intimate Package and got the officiant, 40 pictures & bouquet & boutonniere for $499. The flowers were to die for. Couldn't have been happier.

Who knew you couldn't get married at the courthouse by a judge in Jackson County Missouri? Not this girl. Luckily I stumbled upon KCWeddings2go, Pastor Nancy and her adorable Chapel right by the courthouse in Independence. For less than $500 she helped us with the marriage license, was our officiant, provided photography and the flowers for each of us. She was fabulous.... Helpful, kind, funny and warm. Winning!!!!!

We were looking to throw a wedding together in about a week and we had no idea how to make that happen. Luckily we found KCweddings2go. We didn't have a location but Pastor Nancy has a Chapel right there on the Independence Square. She was able to provide an officiant, photography, as well as flowers. All of that for under $500. Our minds were blown. Everything went as planned and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

Our choice in using KCWeddings2go for our wedding was the best choice we made period. We thought we could just run to the courthouse & get married by a judge in Independence, Mo but we were wrong. Luckily we found Pastor Nancy & her beautiful Chapel right there near the courthouse. We chose the Intimate package that for $499 we got Pastor Nancy as our officiant, pictures, & beautiful flowers. She was so delightful & funny & set the tone for our ceremony. Her chapel provided the perfect, intimate setting for us. We would highly recommend using KCWeddings2go.

Wow is my comment about Pastor Meg's ceremony! She communicated with us about everything. Helped us write our vows and totally customized the entire ceremony for us! It was short and so meaningful! All of our family loved it and Her! Thank you Pastor Meg!

I thought it would be hard to find someone wonderful to perform the ceremony for my daughter and her lovely girlfriend. Still so much prejudice in this world. We found KCWeddings2go on Google and the reviews were so fabulous we gave them a call. Pastor Nancy was everything we had hoped for and more. She was so warm and kind, funny and smart. Thank you so much to Pastor Nancy for guiding us through the process of a proxy wedding. She picked me up at the airport at midnight and drove me to my hotel. She picked me up the next morning and took me to do paperwork. She once again picked me up three days later and drove me to the state capital to get the official documents for the proxy wedding and when it was all finished she drove me back to the airport. She is such a sweetheart that all the time I spent with her was a joy. We would have been so lost without Pastor Nancy.

We HAD to be married before the baby came. No pressure there. I got lucky on the 1st try when I got Nancy from KCWeddings2go. She said she would handle everything & we just had to pick the place. She even has speed up getting the marriage license. We were married the next day on our deck with family & friends watching. Nancy took some wedding pics for us & got my girl a bouquet. 3 days later our son was born. Thanks KCWEDDINGS2GO for getting 'er done.

I have been with the same girl since I was 16 years old and I am now 29. We didn't grow up dreaming about the fairy tale wedding we would have one day because it just wasn't possible, nevermind legal. Recently we began to dream of our fairy tale wedding. Simple, outdoors, at Bucksaw Marina on Truman Lake where we spent our summers. I found KCWeddings2Go on some website and immediately connected with Pastor Nancy from the moment we met. We could just tell she was spiritual, open-minded, genuine & excited about officiating our wedding. We also hired them to do the photography. We got married on our pontoon boat in the middle of Truman Lake and it was better than any fairy tale I have ever known. Would absolutely recommend KCWeddings2Go.

What a wonderful experience we had with KCWeddings2go. They were able to accommodate us with only a 2 hour notice. Pastor Nancy couldn't have been nicer and she did such a lovely job officiating our little LGBT union. No judgement, awkwardness...... Just a big smile and kind words. Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family

It got to the point where they just wanted to forget the whole thing. I had a long talk with them & they decided they just wanted a small wedding with just a handful of people & then throw a big party for everyone. I found KCWeddings2go on a wedding website & gave them a call. Within 15 min we had it all arranged. Pastor Nancy officiated the ceremony in my backyard. She made it personal, meaningful & joyful. She provided the photography as well. The kids could not have been happier. A few weeks later when we threw the party for the reception, Nancy was there shooting more pictures. In my mind, KCWeddings2go made this marriage happen.

My girlfriend and I decided we wanted to get married especially now that it is legal to do so in all 50 states. Our families are not at all supportive so it would just be the 2 of us & our 2 best friends. Finding someone to marry 2 women proved challenging even in this day & age. Although they used a variety of excuses, it all came down to the same answer…No. We finally found KC Weddings 2 Go & Pastor Nancy. To our relief we were met with enthusiasm, kindness, acceptance & happiness. We were married by Pastor Nancy in our backyard with our 2 best friends & 4 dogs. Couldn't have been better. If anyone is looking for an officiant with an open mind & an open & genuine heart, give KC Weddings 2 Go a call.

My brother has been in Central America on a mission trip for 2 years. My fiance and I have been putting off our wedding because I need my brother to be my best man & couldn't imagine getting married without him there. He surprised us by showing up unannounced. He would be here for 2 weeks & then leaving again for a year or 2. We found KC Weddings 2 go & they were an integral part of pulling this together on such short notice. Pastor Nancy performed the ceremony and she was terrific. But they also provided the photographer & the flowers. Also, they gave us great referrals to other companies we needed. They work hard and they work fast at KC Weddings 2 go.

Thanks to Pastor Nancy at KC Weddings 2 go for doing such a fantastic job officiating our wedding. It was touching, thoughtful, loving and funny. Our guests were crying and laughing at the same time. We had more positive comments from our family and friends about Pastor Nancy than about any other part of our wedding. It wouldn't have been as special if we had chosen anyone else to marry us.

Before same-sex marriage was legalized in all 50 states, it was legalized in Iowa where I live. I made several phone calls trying to find someone here who would be excited to marry my daughter and her partner. Excitement I did not find but plenty of apathy, disinterest, and a lot of uncomfortable stares and head shakes. So I got on the internet and came across KC weddings 2 go based out of Kansas City. After talking with Rev Nancy for 3 minutes I knew we must have her here to perform the ceremony. She checked her calendar and agreed right away. Not only could she do the officiating she also could provide the photography for us. I thought because she would be traveling for almost three and a half hours to get to the wedding that her prices would be outrageous but they weren't they were cheaper than anything I could find right here in Des Moines. So my daughter and her partner were married in Winterset at The Bridges of Madison County and Rev Nancy did a wonderful job. My biggest wish for my daughter that it would be everything she had always dreamed of and she would be relaxed and comfortable. Nancy made her feel just like that. And for that I am eternally grateful

Thank you Rev Nancy for being able to put a ceremony together for us in just 2 hours. We didn't think there was any way it could be done before my fiance's father had to get on a plane for Mexico. It's nice to know that last minute or spur of the moment plans can be accommodated by someone like yourself. You will never know what you gave to us when you officiated our ceremony and took the pictures so we would remember this day always.

We were so lucky to find Rev. Nancy & KC Weddings 2 go after we found out that we couldn't get married at the Independence Courthouse by a judge. We were disappointed and walking around the Square when we overheard a conversation about a new wedding chapel going in there. We stopped to inquire. This is how we met Rev. Nancy and hired her on the spot to officiate or ceremony and also do the photography. She did a wonderful job with both. That was done good karma we had that day.

Rev. Nancy and KC Wedfings 2 go made our private little ceremony for 2 a near perfect experience. She was almost as excited as we were and her personality just really clicked with us. It was almost like being married by a family member. She made it as grand as a large, expensive wedding for us. We just got our wedding album and all we can say is that Nancy at Heartland Weddings/KC Weddings 2 go is a genius photographer. Our minds were blown when we saw our pictures. Loved them all. We went to the Independence courthouse to get our marriage license. We then wanted to arrange for a judge to marry us the following weekend. To our surprise we were told that you can no longer be married at the courthouse by a judge. We did some research and found KCWeddings2go. We were able to book Rev. Nancy for the following weekend. We just needed to figure out where we wanted to do it. Rev. Nancy had a lot of great ideas and we decided to get married during a horsedrawn carriage ride on The Plaza. Couldn't have been more intimate, romantic, beautiful...perfect. Too bad your wedding chapel was open yet on the Independence Square Rev. Nancy. That would have been great too. Maybe we will get in touch with you to renew our vows in your new Chapel in a few years.

Heartland Weddings was our photographer for our wedding at Powell Gardens. Our pictures are PHENOMINAL. She got every picture we wanted and then some. Every grouping we requested, every action shot from both the ceremony and reception, every candid shot we ever could want from the entire day. My fiancé & I went to the courthouse in Independence to get a marriage license & we thought we were going to just get married by a judge there at the courthouse once we had it. We were informed that in Missouri, you can no longer be married by a judge in a courthouse. What? We went outside & did a google search on officiant’s & the first one on the list was Heartland Weddings. We gave them a call & talked to Rev. Nancy. She met us at the courthouse 15 minutes later & went in with us and got our marriage license right away. Fifteen minutes after that, we were married by Rev. Nancy under a tree in a nearby park. I kid you not, 30 minutes & she had it done. She was awesome. Made it very special & meaningful even on such short notice. Fantastic company.

Do you know how amazing it was to find someone to officiate our ceremony and do the photography for our St. Patty's day wedding during the parade? We found out the hard way that you can no longer be married at the Jackson County courthouse by a judge. Who knew? So 2 days before St. Patty's day we decided we wanted to be married during the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Never in a million years did we think we could find someone to perform that ceremony let alone take some pictures and most of all be the coolest reverend in the world and made St. Patty's day even more fun. KC Weddings 2 Go did all that for us.

My girl and I got married on April Fools day this year. It was a complete surprise to my fiance. I planned the whole thing with the help of her mom, sister and best friend. We had exactly 3 weeks to put this together. I came across KC Weddings 2 Go during a google search. I met with the owner and found that she could scratch multiple things off my list. Rev. Nancy agreed to do the officiating. She also could provide the photography and the flowers. What? I know right? She also facilitated getting our marriage license in a timely manner. I had my fiance convinced this was all an elaborate April fools joke with the help of her mom and sister. We got married in the rose gardens at Loose Park and it was perfect. I am 46 years old and was embarking on my 3rd marriage. I had already had my big fancy wedding the first time around. The 2nd marriage was at the courthouse with a justice of the peace. However, for my groom, this was going to be his first marriage and first wedding. Although he said he didn’t need a big wedding, I thought maybe his mother and other family members did want that for him or for themselves. He definitely didn’t want to get married at the courthouse. So we started to plan an intimate wedding that would hopefully appease everyone involved. We did a lot of shopping around for various vendors but before we signed any contracts we switched everything up. We decided to take everyone to Branson to get married at our friends time share right by Table Rock Lake. Out of all the vendors we thought we were going to hire, the only one who was willing to jump on board and go with us to Branson was Heartland Weddings. When we met with the owner to sign the contract we found out that she also is a licensed officiant and could perform our ceremony. Oh that’s not all. She also could provide the photography and the flowers. She showed us her other website KCWeddings2go.com that showed all of these services. So be booked her for everything she could provide and were not sorry. She travelled to Branson and she added so much to our special day. Couldn’t have been happier or asked for more.

My partner of 11 years and I finally decided to take a leap of faith and get married. We didn’t want to settle for a civil union or a commitment ceremony. We wanted to wait until every person in this country was able to marry their loved one legally. We wanted to make it a spontaneous adventure. We love to ride our motorcycles so we wanted to take a ride down to southern Missouri and get married at the bed and breakfast we went to on our very first motorcycle roadtrip 11 years ago. I’m sure it’s not for everyone, but my fiancé and I decided to get married after we had been together for 7 years. The crazy part is that we challenged ourselves to throw the wedding together in exactly one week. We actually met at a speed dating event so we thought we would continue the theme. My partner and I decided that now that it was legal in Missouri for us to actually get married that we would do just that. Since neither of our families are supportive of our same sex relationship, we knew we just wanted a small, informal, intimate and FUN ceremony. We knew it would be important to find just the right person to officiate for us. Turns out that was not as easy as we anticipated. We talked to and met with many officiants. A few gave off a vibe of they would rather not do our ceremony. A few were so old and rigid that it would not be a good fit and a couple even flat out refused to marry us regardless that it was now legal. I found KCWeddings2go on the weddingwire website and I gave Nancy a call. She met with us the next day and we knew from minute one that she was our gal. We were struggling with where to hold the ceremony and on a Friday night we decided we wanted to get married in St. Louis and we wanted to do it the next day. We called Nancy and told her of our wild hair and she didn't even hesitate. Double checked her schedule, said she was good to go and met us the next morning at Bob Evans along with 5 of our closest friends and we began our roadtrip. Nancy rode with us and by the time we hit St. Louis we were all friends. Nancy had helped us get our marriage license the week before so we were good to go. She was fabulous and made it just perfect. She also is a photographer and she brought her camera and took some amazing photos of our special day. She gave us our images on a CD and we were able to go crazy with them. Anything you can put a picture on we have done it. Thank you Nancy for the amazing memories and for the friendship we started that day.

Many of my fears came true on my wedding day. 3 hours before the ceremony was to begin we got a call saying that our officiant was in the emergency room getting ready to go into surgery for a ruptured appendix. We were freaking out. Everything was ready and paid for and the guests were due to arrive in a couple of hours and we had no one to marry us. We started googling like crazy and finally found KCWeddings2go. We crossed our fingers and called and got a hold of Nancy Kerr and explained our predicament. She told us to relax, give her the address and she would be there in an hour. Thank god for Nancy at kcweddings2go. My partner of 7 years and I on the spur of the moment decided we wanted to get married on Halloween. We never thought it would even be possible to get married legally in the state of Missouri so we never really gave getting married much thought. Two weeks before Halloween we decided to take the plunge and once that decision was made, we didn't want to wait. My boyfriend and I had been together for 23 years and have had 3 children but had never gotten around to getting married. I had given up on that dream years ago. The day after I became engaged, I called my sister in California and told her and asked her to be my maid of honor. She informed me that she just got a job transfer to Japan and would be leaving within 3 weeks so if I wanted her in the wedding we were going to have to throw it together fast.
