Kayla and her team were incredibly kind and easy to work with. She listened to my slight tweaks from the bridal hair/MU trial I did and it came out perfect on the day of my wedding. Her team was calm on my wedding day, on time and on schedule, and they did a great job with a variety of makeup styles (full glam, natural, angelic/shimmery). They made all of us feel beautiful AND my hair and makeup stayed really well throughout the day even though it was 80°+ and I had a lot of happy tears. I would definitely recommend them to any bride.

I cannot recommend Kayla's team enough. They were calm, kind, and so grounding. Honestly, exactly what every bride needs on a wedding day. Nothing felt rushed or chaotic. I felt truly cared for, listened to, and understood. Several bridesmaids made statements about how they wished their wedding mornings were that smooth. Kayla communicated clearly throughout the entire process, checked in often, and made sure every detail felt right. It was obvious how much pride she takes in her team. Absolutely loved working with Kayla and her team! As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, I had a hard time searching for hair and makeup vendors who I thought would still make me look like me. Then I stumbled upon “soft glam” and Kayla’s team and knew they would be a great fit! She is so responsive and organized throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend doing a bridal preview; although I ended up not wanting to change anything since I loved the look she created from my inspo pictures. I had a large bridal party (12 including moms), and her team completed all services ahead of schedule. Everyone loved their look and also had a great time with Kayla and her girls morning of! The Perfect Start to Our Wedding Day
From start to finish, working with Kayla and her team was a delight. Months before my wedding, Kayla was always so communicative and detailed in her responses - one of the main reasons I decided to book with her, and I’m so glad I did. Her pricing is transparent and fair, and I love that her focus is on enhancing your natural beauty rather than going over the top.
During my HAMU trial, Kayla went above and beyond. She worked around my schedule, took her time getting to know me, and made sure I left feeling confident and radiant. It happened to be Fourth of July weekend (also my anniversary!), and I was able to wear the look to our dinner, it lasted beautifully and made the evening feel extra special.
On the wedding day, I had gifted hair and makeup to my bridesmaids, mothers, and sisters. It was such a relaxed, happy morning sipping mimosas, chatting, and getting ready together. Everyone absolutely loved their looks, but even more than that, they couldn’t stop talking about how kind and fun Kayla and her team were.
Kayla takes incredible pride in her work, at one point she even redid part of my hairstyle just to make sure it was perfect, even though it already looked amazing. The whole team brought not just talent but great energy, and we truly had the best time with them.

I was nervous about not looking like "me" on the day, but Kayla and Camille were amazing to work with and helped me fine tune my bridal vision while also providing lots of helpful tips for how to prep my skin leading up to the wedding, what makeup/color palettes would look best on me, and Kayla even helped me match the color of my hair extensions to my natural color PERFECTLY. Kayla, Camille, and Lindsey made me and my bridal party all feel so beautiful, and our looks lasted through rain, sweat, and happy tears! Camille is seriously a makeup magician!
I also want to give Kayla and Camille a shoutout for being so accommodating during the bridal preview process. Kayla is AMAZING. Not only is she incredible at hair and makeup, but she is so down to earth, personable, and SO easy to work with! I booked her for my wedding (1 bride, 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers), Kayla and her team were so professional, extremely efficient, easy to be around, and everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup! Somehow she was able to even make my long, pin-straight hair hold loose curls for the entire day without needing a helmet of hairspray, which I didn't even know was possible. From the second Kayla and I chatted on the phone I absolutely knew she would be perfect. We chatted about any worries I had (not wanting to look like a clown! and how my little sister had super curly hair) and i was confident she would get it done! The BEST Hair & Makeup Artist in Georgia
If you are looking for a professional, kind, and detail-oriented hair and makeup artist for your wedding, I highly recommend using Kayla. From our first inquiry, Kayla was so excited and willing to work with me to make all of my beauty dreams come true. At my hair and makeup trial, Kayla asked me exactly what I wanted and she executed my ideas perfectly. I oftentimes struggle with my appearance, but Kayla ensured me that I was beautiful and I was going to look beautiful on my wedding day.
On the wedding day, Kayla and her team showed up bright and early. They were able to complete hair and makeup for 12 people – me, my nine bridesmaids, my mom, and my aunt. Not only did they complete the hair and makeup on time, but they were finished a whole two hours before everyone needed to be ready. This provided us with time to relax before all of the craziness began, which was so beneficial for me. I wanted all of my bridesmaids to have updos and natural makeup, and Kayla and her team gave everyone a unique and individualized look. Everyone looked so much like themselves and so beautiful. Kayla and her team were able to capture and enhance everyone’s natural beauty.
Kayla and her team made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I made some changes from my trial, and they were able to accommodate those changes perfectly. I had to hold back tears when I saw myself for the first time after they completed my look – I had never felt so beautiful in my life. The way Kayla and her team were able to make me look and feel like a bride was astounding. After my hair and makeup was done, I was provided with an emergency kit full of extra bobby pins, lipstick, and other self-care goodies. This is such a special touch that makes Kayla and her team so unique.
The experience Kayla and her team provided was unmatched. They made me, my bridesmaids, and my family members feel beautiful. I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team on my wedding day.

Great Experience
Kayla and her team were great to work with leading up to and on the day of my wedding. I was very pleased with my wedding look and my bridesmaids were as well. One of my bridesmaids even said it was her favorite hair/makeup job she’s ever had for a wedding she’s been a part of. Kayla Walters Hair was well organized and well prepared for prepping my wedding party.

Truly a gem!
Kayla is an amazing hair and makeup artist as well as business owner. She worked with me over two years and one postponement to make my wedding hair and makeup dreams come true! I'm not a big makeup person, but Kayla knew exactly what I wanted and I felt like a princess on my big day. My hair and makeup were FLAWLESS, and my mom and bridesmaids too. Her and her assistant went above and beyond to follow our schedule for the morning and were punctual, kind, and made the morning smooth. I could not recommend Kayla enough!

Amazing Hair and Makeup
We hired Kayla for our outdoor Summer wedding in Athens, GA. A few months before the wedding, we did my hair and makeup trial and she was even able to accommodate a trial for my mom. During the trial, she worked with us to figure out what we wanted our look to be, editing and making changes as we went. During all of this, she took extremely detailed notes on our preferences. On the day of, she arrived with her team and set up efficiently. They managed to do the entire group of bridesmaids hair and makeup swiftly and stayed on schedule the entire time. My bridesmaids were all gorgeous and the makeup enhanced their natural beauty perfectly. During the getting ready time, Kayla’s group was so fun, singing and chatting with all of us as if they were one of the friends. When she got to my mom and I, it was clear that she had studied her notes from our trials and the execution was perfect for both of us. Maybe the most impressive part was that all of our hair and make up stayed put for the entire day despite that sweet Georgia heat in July. I would pick Kayla again in a heartbeat for any hair and makeup needs!

easy wedding morning experience!!
Kayla was so easy to communicate with and really listened to what I wanted for my wedding day look! She took time to get to know me and was quick to answer any question I had. My mom had a couple adjustments she wanted to be made after her makeup was done, and Kayla was eager to make sure everyone felt great in their skin that day, and made the adjustments for my mom. All of my bridesmaids hair looked fantastic and held up really well. My hair and makeup held up well throughout the day and evening. She stuck to the schedule in the morning and it made it all so stress-free! Her price point is also hard to beat. Hire Kayla!

Mother of the Bride
Kayla was always professional, transparent in discussions of her services, and timely in all her email communications along with the scheduling of my daughter’s trial hair and make-up appointment! During the trial appointment she was thoughtful and listened attentively to my daughter. She and her sweet/talented Team arrived at the venue at 7am and never missed a beat providing well orchestrated make-up and hair updos for the bride, six bridesmaids and two Moms! Kayla nor her staff ever seemed rushed and were happy to accommodate each request. We were all amazed at how gorgeous everyone’s hair and make up turned out; and received so many compliments that day and since!! We could not have been more pleased and thank our lucky stars she was recommended by both our photographer and wedding coordinator.

My bridesmaids and I had such a fabulous experience with Kayla and her team. She did hair and makeup for myself, 8 bridesmaids, and both mothers (MOB & MOG). She was so responsive and organized in making our timeline for the day of, answered all of my questions leading up to the wedding day, and made us all feel so comfortable and beautiful while getting hair & makeup done. We had so much fun with Kayla and her team getting ready, and all of our hair & makeup looked flawless - through an entire day of pictures, ceremony & dancing! I can’t recommend Kayla enough!

Seamless, Stunning!
Kayla and her team were absolutely a blessing to work with. As a COVID bride, my Husband and I had to postpone our Spring wedding to September. Kayla and her team handled the changes with ease and were able to provide on site hair and make up for me and all of my bridesmaids. Kayla is my absolute go-to when my brides ask for Hair and Makeup recommendations. She is SO sweet, always on time, and does gorgeous work! As a wedding planner, the 1st half of a wedding day can either make or break the entire day's timeline - in other words if HAMU gets behind, the whole schedule is going to be behind, and I NEVER have to worry about this with Kayla. She was super quick with responses to emails any time I had questions and executed my minor changes from our trial to perfection on wedding day. I can’t even begin to say how incredible Kayla and her team were! Kayla is super sweet and makes sure your wedding look is exactly how you want it (and ever dreamed of)! Kayla was wonderful to work with from the first email through my inspiration, the pre-wedding trial, and the day of! She was flexible when I asked to add in last minute requests from my bridesmaids. She was on-time and stuck to her schedule which meant that the day was that much smoother!

Quality Work at Affordable Prices for Beautiful Brides on a Budget
Kayla has excellent communication and is an absolute joy to work with. I can't recommend her enough and would hire her again in a heartbeat. When vetting out vendors for my wedding, I reached out to several hair stylists in the area and was most impressed with Kayla. She took the time to get to know me. At our trial appointment, she created something even more beautiful than what I was expecting. To say that I loved how my hair looked at my trial and they day of my wedding would be an understatement. Even through hours of dancing, humidity, and an afternoon rain storm, our hair stayed beautiful all the way through the sparkler send-off. With Kayla, you don't have to worry about whether she will show up on time. She was fully prepared and ready to go. Her rates are extremely affordable, and she was on schedule if not ahead of schedule for the entire day. She has a process in place to keep everyone moving (while still creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere). Other hair stylists in the area were slow to respond (if they bothered to respond at all) and didn't seem to care about me on what should be one of the most special days of my life. I am so very thankful that Kayla was not one of those vendors. If you're looking for your go-to girl, look no further than Kayla Walters Hair.

Kayla was awesome to work with. It was so great to find someone that does hair AND makeup, which really took a lot of the stress off in terms of planning and coordinating for the day-of. I was looking for someone that would come to me on my wedding day, and Kayla fit that bill (and was even a few minutes early)! Perfect start to the day!
Kayla and her team were the PERFECT people to have start my wedding day. She did a fantastic job on my bridesmaids hair! And it stayed up throughout the entire day and night. She came at around 10 and the girls didn’t get home til around midnight, so their hair was sturdy and well done enough to last that long! My hair struggled in the rain, but still somehow managed to stay curled with a few touch ups. Fantastic job and fantastic people!

Kayla and her team did a wonderful job doing my and my bridesmaids hair and makeup. Having them come to the venue was a stress free and fun experience. Kayla was very organized and made sure we had a detailed schedule of how things would go prior to the wedding day. In addition she offers trial runs for the bride and anyone else who was interested. From the beginning, Kayla was very efficient in the planning process. She was quick to get back with me with any questions I might have, an explanation of the process, the contract, and a timeline for the trial run. She was sweet, professional, and was easy to work with. When we sat down to do my trial, she was honest about what she thought would work best, but truly listened to what I had envisioned! She worked with me until it was exactly what I wanted.
The week leading up to my wedding I think I changed our timeline 23904820 times, and Kayla responded almost immediately and worked with me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. She truly is one of a kind!
I wouldn't recommend anyone else as highly as I would recommend Kayla and her staff. They were on time, professional, so much fun to work with, flexible, and have I mentioned wonderful? Oh, and financially, IT'S TOTALLY WORTH what you pay! She's not nearly as expensive as some of the other companies I looked at, and I couldn't be happier that I chose to work with Kayla. 11/10 would recommend! :)

Kayla was awesome to work with! For the trial, she was flexible with my schedule to meet in the evening. She was open and listened to what I wanted, even though I wasn't fully sure at the time! She was flexible in me changing my hair style the day before my wedding. Both my hair and makeup turned out exactly how I wanted! She also did my maid of honor's hair and makeup, which turned out amazing as well!

Kayla was absolutely wonderful to work with! She did my hair for me and several of my bridesmaids on my wedding day, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She's very responsive to email, will do your hair in whatever style you wish (as well as provide ideas, if you choose), will travel to your venue, and is so pleasant and welcoming. I would strongly recommend Kayla and Kelly! Kayla set up a hair and makeup trial for me before the wedding, where we tried different hair styles until I found one I loved. She provided a specific timeline for the wedding day, which helped with the wedding chaos and ensured we were all ready on time. On top of providing excellent services, Kayla and Kelly were a lot of fun to hang out with and actually helped calm some pre-wedding jitters. Planning a wedding is no joke! Figuring out all the finer details like hair and makeup can be so time consuming.
