  Rob was amazing for our wedding on HHI. He was extremely professional and had an eye for extra details and pictures we never would have thought of. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! He was even able to get a video of my husband who surprised me with a song during the reception. Rob also stayed late to make sure all of our wants were taken care of. We cherish the pictures and get to relive our amazing night over and over again thanks to Rob! Thank you again for everything!

  As a photographer who not only knows the Lowcountry area but every venue in and out - Rob was a fantastic choice for our wedding photography. We even had several of his photos selected after our wedding to be featured in local publications (which was an unexpected surprise for us!) His amazing editorial style and great personality brought a lot to our wedding group and certainly put all our guests at ease as well. Highly recommend for wedding photos, engagement and milestone moments!

  Thank you to Rob Kaufman for being an amazing wedding photographer. He not only did our wedding, but also our engagement photos. We were so happy with all of our pictures. He did exactly what we asked for. He’s an excellent photographer with a lot of knowledge about the business.

  I can't say enough about the terrific job that Rob did in photographing our daughter's wedding. From the first conversation with Rob, I knew he would be the right photographer. He was so easy to work with, a great personality working with the bridesmaids, included our dogs in the pre-wedding photos, great ideas with lighting and shadows for the beach wedding. He captured beautiful pictures of the ceremony without being conspicuous at all....same with the reception. He put together a beautiful wedding album which is truly a keepsake. We couldn't have been happier with Rob and the way he captured the day!

  Rob did an amazing job with our photos. I only wish we had more time with him. One day just doesn't seem like enough time. He did my bridal portraits and our wedding. He answered my multiple questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Kaufman photography.

  I was so disappointed ! He did not take the pictures that I told him to . When I got the pictures back, I asked him where the pictures of the guests were and he NEVER took them. Can you imagine how upset I was that friends travelled from all of the country and he never took pictures of them?! He said he ran out of time !! I have so many pictures of the bride and groom but they do not have pictures of their friends. I highly suggest that you do not use him. He is only interested in doing the minimum amount of work.

  Kaufman Photography's reply:

  Client paid for 2 hours and got 2 hours. Never filled out the provided shot list indicating that guest shots were more important than bride shots. "Only interested in doing the minimum"? How about "only interested in paying the minimum." I've shot weddings for 20 years with zero complaints. Her limited time frame gave me 15 minutes before the ceremony for bride and groom shots. So I decided to take some time post ceremony to get more. I am so sorry if I decided that photos of the bride on her wedding day were more important than guests standing around drinking. I suspect that if I had chose to shoot guests instead, she'd be complaining that I didn't get enough shots of her daughter. This is a damned if you do, damned if you don't client, and we've all been there.
