We love her!

We were so happy to have Katy capture our wedding reception! We had a small wedding in 2020, and in 2021 we had Katy take our portraits and capture our delayed reception. We loved working with her! She had a very calm and natural approach to taking photos. Katy made us feel so comfortable even when taking portraits. We loved how all the photos turned out, and we loved seeing all of the small and candid moments she had captured throughout the night! Katy did a wonderful job of capturing not only us but the guests, too. She was also able to quickly process and share all of our photos so we didn't have to wait long to see them. She was also super helpful with a couple of additional edits and processing requests we had.

Best Wedding Photographer EVER!!!

Katy was absolutely amazing! She was the perfect photographer for our engagement photos and our wedding day. We will treasure the pictures for a lifetime. I love Katy's work

I finally got a chance to work with Katy on a wedding and I LOVE her work. Katy has a fantastic eye and captures beautiful moments and details. She's easy to work with and has a laid back, out of the way style of shooting that works great for weddings. She's professional, easy to work with, and she told us when to expect the image gallery and she delivered on time.
I will recommend her to any of my clients, friends, and relatives and can't wait to work with her again.

Katy is amazing, and that is an understatement. From the moment you first speak with Katy you’ll instantly know your wedding is in good hands. She’s organized, efficient, a good communicator, calm, supportive, and super friendly.

If you’re looking for a fun, great, picture perfect, worry free photoshoot/wedding day/special event Katy is the photographer you need to hire. Not only did Katy take my engagement photos, making my fiancé and I look so much less awkward than we are in real life, but I have worked with her as a photographer and seen her beautifully capture a handful of different weddings. She will capture every aspect of your day finding the perfect photo spots along the way and guiding you through elegant pose after pose. She’ll tell you where to place your hands (cause no one ever knows) and capture moments you won’t be able to resist printing out, framing, and smiling at as they decorate your home.

Amazing Photographer, she's like a friend!

After getting engaged, I started truly wedding planning Summer 2018. Photography was one of my top priorities and I spent days and hours combing through vendor websites, Facebook, Google and more. In a Maryland Brides Facebook group I stumbled upon Katy! From the very beginning she was the utmost professional and communicated very well via email despite the 6 hour time difference. Her photos via her website, blogs and Instagram were stunning and fit into our budget. Her contract was very easy to read and very professional. We opted out of an Engagement shoot simply because we weren’t planning on flying back to Maryland until May 2019 for a home visit.

I wanted to meet Katy in person and she was so happy to meet me! Why not meet the person who’s going to be taking photos of the MOST important day of your life? My husband and I left our meeting at Starbucks really excited that we made the right decision hiring her. She was so down to earth and funny.

Katy promptly arrived at out getting ready hotel in Baltimore with her assistant. She bonded quickly with my videographer. I remember our wedding day she was calm, professional and would pull me by her side to simply ask if I was ok or needed to use the restroom. She returned our photograph album before the contracted schedule (woo hoo!) She delivered our photos in a huge digital website that was broken up into 4 albums (getting ready, ceremony, portraits and reception). We hope to work with Katy in the future! Katy was simply AMAZING to work with and made our day work effortlessly. THANK YOU KATY!!! We HIGHLY recommend Katy!

Wonderful!!!

Katy and I worked a wedding together this past September and I have only good thing to say about her!
As a wedding planner I love working with photographers who keep to the timeline as much as possible and working with Katy I didn’t have to worry about things staying on time. She made sure to get the photos she needed and still keep on schedule which is amazing and not an easy task!
Katy was such a wonderful person to work with! Very easy going and fun to talk to and get to know.
Her photography style is amazing and very real. Any couple that wants her should get her! She is an asset to every vendor team, and has great communication skills.

Katy is one of the best Photographers I've ever had the pleasure to have known. Both her and her husband Phil were Absolutely amazing and every aspect imaginable. I have just recently gotten engaged to my wonderful Fiancée and with the planning that had been taken place I felt completely confident that I could trust her with everything. My experience with Katy Murray Photography was great. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. If you are looking for a photographer who is experience, talented, easy to work with than look no further. Plus, she works very efficiently to have your pictures ready as soon as possible. I was able to view of the gallery of pictures the very next day and the images were gorgeous!! Katy's passion and talent really shines through in her work. I can not recommend Katy enough to all my friends and family.

Katy was lovely. She captured our wedding on May 23, 2015. She was very responsive and did everything in her power to accommodate me and my new husband. She arrived on time for my wedding and took several shots. She was very professional the entire time and handled every situation with ease! Sometimes she blended in so well I didn't even realize she was there! So I wasn't nervous being in front of the camera! I am waiting for my wedding photos, but our engagement photos are wonderful! I would definitely recommend Katy!

Katy was absolutely amazing! She did such a great job making both my husband and myself feel very comfortable and at ease so it was very easy to be ourselves and pose naturally. She did an unbelievable job capturing both our moods and personalities. I was delighted to see how wonderful our photos turned out. I couldn't have been more thrilled with the overall experience of the session itself and the quality of the final product. Katy Murray is unbelievably personable, witty, talented and professional, which made our session a lot of fun. We absolutely loved working with Katy.

I have to list this as "engagement party" because "proposal" isn't an option. I hired Katy to take photos of my Fiance and I as I proposed to her recently in Federal Hill. Katy was amazing. Her level of communication and willingness to make the event as special as you want it to be is second to none. I wanted Katy to take pictures of my Fiance and I inconspicuously as we walked around Federal Hill Park and ultimately the proposal itself. I received the photos on Tuesday and they turned out better than I could ever hope for, she captured every important moment and exceeded my expectations.

Katy did such a fantastic job, I was blown away. We purchased a special from her at a very discounted rate. As such, I didn't expect the service to be there. I was wrong. She interacted incredibly well with us, and especially our 3 year old daughter. I will be recommending her to everyone.

I met up with Katherine at a local park to have a fun photo-shoot session and let me tell you, Katherine did a fabulous job! We agreed to meet at a specific location, however, I got a little confused and ended up driving to the wrong park. She was extremely patient and kind with the misunderstanding, but most importantly, she did not rush me one single bit. I was scared at first and thought the situation was going to be awkward but Katherine really connected with me personally and we both got to know each other more. The weather was not the best that day, it was absolutely freezing and I felt that I might have needed some time to warm up. Once again, she allowed me to take my time and waited until I felt comfortable enough to continue. I never really believed that I was photogenic or great at modeling, but she showed me exactly what poses/expressions she wanted and continuously motivated me throughout the whole process. After editing the pictures, everything turned out gorgeous! I couldn't believe that I could look that photogenic, Katherine really worked her magic. :)

Katherine took pictures of our daughter when she was only 4 days old and they turned out beautiful. My husband and I will cherish our beautiful moments that Katherine captured.

Katy is an amazing photographer, I was super nervous on the beginning but she made me feel so comfortable. Katy is so talented and down to earth I would totally use her again for any other events. And would highly recommend to all my friends and family.

Kate took Lexie's senior pictures and they were great! It was winter time in Bend and it had just snowed, so we were worried we wouldn't have a good selection. But, Kate discovered a lot of fun spots inside and out. Lexie's pictures turned out to be very unique, fun and beautiful. The rest of the family joined us at the end of the shoot and we also were able to get some great family pictures - best Christmas card ever! Kate got the pictures (a CD full) back to us within a week and there were so many to choose from, we had a ball. It was a great experience and a very special time!

We used Katherine of PK Photography to capture the moments of my bridesmaids and I getting ready for our wedding. She caught so many small but meaningful moments that I had no idea she saw, and it meant so much to us both! She was completely relaxed which helped the rest of us relax, and she was noninvasive the entire time! I was so incredibly happy with the result of our pictures and couldn't have asked for more. She also took our engagement photos and we were just as pleased with those as we were the wedding day pictures. Their prices are wonderful and fair, their work is beautiful, and they are so friendly and kind. You can't go wrong with them!

Katy is such a sweet, fun, and adventurous photographer! Easy to work with and had a lot of creative ideas, but was also very attentive to our desires and hopes for the day. Flexible and willing to try new things. We had so much fun having her take our pictures and they turned out great! Katy really captured the love and feeling of our wedding. Would definitely use her again!
