The best JP in the business
Ms. Ward is the best JP you will ever find. My fiancée and I had never been married before and she lovingly walked us through the entire process, and even helped plan a significant portion of our Wedding. Our documents were perfectly filed and Katie actually managed to get them to us far earlier than expected. Katie was always so quick to respond and super sweet. She was very accommodating during our rehearsal when the groom and two groomsmen weren’t present because we accidentally sent them to the store. She also reminded us that we needed our marriage license which was very helpful since we forgot it at home. The words she wrote for our ceremony were absolutely beautiful, it was exactly what I asked for and more! She spoke with my dj and photographer to ensure everyone was always on the same page. She did a great at speaking, she has a very nice and calming voice. We are so grateful for Katie and all her help!

Backyard wedding
We are so glad Katie was our JP! About a week before the wedding we talked on the phone to talk about preferences. She also wrote down a little background info on how me and my husband met, etc., and personalized her script with the details. Her words brought us both to tears. We were so blessed to have Katie as our Justice of the Peace for our wedding on 10/17. Katie was so accommodating through the entire process. Katie took us through what we would need to do and what we would need to have when applying for our marriage license. Her experience provided us with very helpful advice to make this process easier. Katie took the time to really know what we did and didn’t want in our ceremony. We didn’t want to write our own vows but didn’t want the traditional set of vows often heard in ceremonies; so we came up with our own version and Katie flawlessly incorporated them. The ceremony that she wrote was so beautiful and perfectly captured us as a couple. It even made my husband tear up, which is no easy task. Katie truly made sure our day was perfect and it really was.

Lakeside Backyard Elopement
My husband and I decided to get married quickly before I left to hike the Appalachian Trail. Katie was able to fit us in within a day and performed the perfect ceremony for us in our backyard on the dock. The ceremony was short and sweet and exactly what we needed. Katie was the first to offer more than just "I'll do my best to make it if the weather is bad". She had multiple contingency plans, which she walked us through on our first call together.
When it came to planning our ceremony, Katie worked with us to put together a fun, memorable, and personal experience for us and our guests. At our rehearsal and on our wedding day she was wonderful, working with us while we practiced, and then flawlessly performing our ceremony. She returned our Marriage License to the town very quickly as well, so we were able to get our Marriage Certificate just a couple of business days later.

We didn’t want to change the date so we were excited to find Katie and were thrilled with how accommodating she was being it was last-minute notice. I was very nervous about our ceremony with our handfasting and incorporating it in. Katie was on top of everything. She finds the most beautiful blessings to read and sends you an entire outline of the ceremony in advance so that you know exactly what to expect. The ceremony went smooth, everyone could hear her speak which is important, and she made sure my husband and I knew what we were doing so we didn't look foolish. Such a great experience!
We got our wedding license on a Monday, contacted Katie on a Wednesday, and had everything arranged by Thursday for a wedding that would take place that weekend. Katie made everything so easy and made our service so personal in ways we couldn’t imagine. She’s was so sweet to not only us as a bride and groom but our entire family. She was able to provide suggestions for where our ceremony could take place and we absolutely loved it. She made would most could consider a stressful experience so seamless. Katie was wonderful. She wrote a beautiful service and was professional and friendly the day of our wedding. She also suggested a moment to honor my brides deceased father, something neither of of had thought to do. But her value transcended just the ceremony. Her suggestions on which city to get our marriage license and how to prepare really helped us save both time, money and most importantly reduced stress. Katie was super flexible and easy going! We needed an officiant super last minute - and we hired her within 3 weeks of our wedding date. She wrote an revised our entire ceremony and sent us drafts along the way. We were unable to meet in person before the wedding but she did a video chat with us to make sure it was a good fit before entering into an agreement! She reminded us of all of the paperwork we had to do - great job overall. We are so grateful to her!
