the best my hair has ever looked!
Katie is amazing!! We didn’t do a trial, but she saw my inspo picture and made it come to life! She made my hair look so beautiful and full! The curls held up all night and even the next day. My whole bridal party also loved their hair! Katie definitely knows what she’s doing and won’t fail to make you look great on your big day. -

Best Hair Stylist EVER
Katie was amazing - from my trial to the day of. At my trial she repined and recurled multiple times to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The day of, she didn’t mind that I still had changes and then proceeded to give me my dream wedding hair. Everyone in my bridal party and both mom and mother in law got their hair done. Katie came with an assistant and not only were we ready before the guys, but everyone truly felt beautiful. Not to mention, Katie is SO fun. She and her assistant made my wedding morning super fun, singing and laughing along with us. If I ever have a special event in the future, I will most definitely be using Katie again. The best ever. Thank you!!! -

Wedding Hair
Katie genuinely made my day so easy, flawless and wonderful! First off, she’s so easy to get along with and takes a simple picture of what you’re wanting and creates a masterpiece out of it! I don’t have a single bad thing to say about her as a person, but also not a single bad thing to say about her as a professional and about her abilities!! She was so attentive to what I needed and wanted as a bride and would go to any length to make sure I was happy, calm and feeling good throughout the whole process and morning of my wedding! Her products were flawless as my hair stayed in place ALL night without looking caked with hairspray. I really do recommend her to any bride!!! -

I was an October 2023 bride. I found Katie when I was reviewing tagged photos from my venue and was intrigued by the great reviews I saw. I immediately started following her and reached out to her about a year in advance. She was very responsive and kind. She is upfront with all prices and how the booking process works. She entertained every single question and offered guidance. Katie gave me great advice and assurance that everything would be perfect whether I went with my naturally curly hair or straight hair. I was happy to book her services for Bridal hair, 3 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 guest and a flower girl. During the process, Katie was able to color match my hair for Bellami Hair Extensions so I could have them available for my hair trial. Katie is full service. She cut and washed my extensions for me and had them looking great for wedding day. Everyone was thrilled with their look. To ensure we finished on time for photographs, Katie brought an assistant and she was a pleasure to work with as well. I cannot say enough about how great Katie is. I really wanted to step out of my comfort zone and have a beautiful look and Katie made that happen. If you're looking for someone talented, kind, reasonable, and honestly a FUN time look no further than KatieReaderHair. I felt like I was getting the professional services of a high end salon but at the same time, I felt the comfort of a great friend. -

Bridal hair Stylist
While I may be a little biased (I’m Katies sister in law) I couldn’t stop myself from telling everyone how amazing I think Katie is and how ABSOLUTELY STUNNING she made me feel on my wedding day on 10/22 this past month. I couldn’t recommend Katie enough. She made me feel so stress free on my wedding day and she talked me off a ledge more than once when I was feeling stressed about the timing of everything. I am someone who struggles to feel beautiful in my own skin, but let me tell you Katie and her talent played such a big part on how pretty I felt on my wedding day. She is one of the most kind, talented, and amazing people I know and I am so lucky to call her my sister in law!!! BOOK KATIE! You will not regret it! 🤍 -

Incredibly flexible and made me feel beautiful
Katie is absolutely incredible. Not only is she the sweetest human, she truly cares about making you feel beautiful and also comfortable with your hair! She is here for you and does the best job. I had done two trials with Katie and even on the wedding day we decided to combine the two and she made it perfect. I felt like a princess. Even my new husband messaged Katie the day after the wedding to thank her for doing such an amazing job. Katie is like family and I will miss seeing her so much! Working with Katie was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! We had such a fun time getting ready together and laughed the whole way through. She worked on my bridesmaids and my mom as well and they were so so happy with their hair!
Our hair lasted the entire night and our guests even made comments about how it still looked beautiful after hours of craziness!

Absolutely amazing.
Katie was very quick to reply to all my messages. She was great with giving me tips on the styles I was interested in. Katie was so sweet and nice. We clicked right away during the hair trial. She was early on my wedding day and brought some great extra stylists since I did have a big wedding party. She was professional but with the biggest heart. She did a killer job on my hair and the rest of the party. I got compliments all day and anyone who sees photos from my wedding day tell me how beautiful my hair was. -

What can I say about Katie? I absolutely love her and think she is the best hair stylist. She has experience with all hair types and will make your wedding vision a reality for your special day. You will also be pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced her services are!!

Katie is the best!! I have very curly hair and struggle to find people who can manage my hair. Katie exceeded all my expectations and made me feel absolutely gorgeous! My hair lasted literally all day in the summer humidity and rain! I got so many compliments on my hair! I planned my backyard wedding in under four weeks and was introduced to Katie through my make up artist and she was nothing short of amazing! I have pin straight hair that never holds any style and even without a trial run Katie was able to work with my hair and make my dream hairstyle come to life!! Katie is AMAZING!!! I found her on Wedding Wire and I'm so happy that I did. My trial was perfect - I instantly felt like we knew each other for years. She is SOOO nice! Her communication was perfect, she took the cutest BTS photos and videos and we all were obsessed with our hair. I got so many compliments! All I had to do was show her a photo and she created exactly what I wanted. As a Type A bride who was very much on top of my vendors, I cannot recommend Katie more!!! She will bring you nothing but peace of mind and make you feel incredible on your day. 1000000/10! -

Where do I even begin!? From beginning to end Katie was so attentive to how I wanted my hair for my wedding. She’s so personable and easy to talk to which makes the process 10x better. Kind and attentive
Katie went above and beyond to make my day special! She made sure I had the proper color and size extensions to ensure I had the bridal look of my dreams! Any questions or concerns that I had she responded in a timely and efficient manor.
She was very kind and accommodating! My sisters wedding was august 2020, where she also did my hair, that’s when I knew she had to do MY wedding! I will be booking and recommending her for every special event going forward! -

Katie was nothing short of amazing! She completed a variety of hairstyles for my bridesmaids, each girl being thrilled about how their hair looked upon completion. I LOVED how my hair turned out - I felt like it was even better than the trial we had. All of our styles were secure through the entire night - we were even getting compliments at the end of the reception! Katie’s presence the morning of our wedding was a cool mix of calm and genuine excitement. I was so happy to have her in the mix with us. Her work is an incredible art and I would highly recommend her to anyone! -

Katie Reader Hair
Katie is the best of the best! She did my hair for my wedding, along with 6 of my bridesmaids and we all felt and looked great. She spent time to make each style specific to the person, she checked all hair right before walking out, sprayed and poppy pined anything last minute. She’s loves what she does and it shows in her work!

Katie did my bridal hair for my wedding and I was absolutely blown away at her talent. She has been doing my hair for 11 years (color, cut, keratin treatments, and formal styling), so asking her to do my hair for my big day was a no-brainer! I am also lucky enough to call Katie a close friend, so I can attest to her hard work, dedication, and passion for hair.
I showed her a picture of a style I liked and she was able to replicate it almost perfectly, both at my trial and on the day of my wedding. She also gave me her professional opinion when it came to subtle details of the style - things I didn’t even think about - that made my hair look that much better! Because Katie has been in the wedding industry for so long, I value and trust her expertise. Katie is able to provide her advice on what will look good without taking away from what YOU want. At the trial she made sure every piece of hair was the way I wanted it before finishing.
The way of my wedding, Katie immediately put me at ease. She was on time and efficient, finishing in plenty of time so we weren’t rushing. She is also a perfectionist, and will NOT leave your hair alone until it is absolutely perfect! I got so many compliments on my hair and how it was the perfect style to fit me. My curls held up in the extreme 97 degree heat, and hours of dancing and pictures. I even slept on it and it looked just as good the next day! If you choose her as your stylist for your wedding you will not be disappointed! Katie, thank you for making me feel so beautiful and for making my best day that much better! -

Katie did my and my wedding party's hair for my 6/1/19 wedding in Philadelphia and it couldn't have been any better! She got there bright and early and was able to efficiently do everyone's hair just like they asked for. Everything stayed in place for the entire day and we all looked fab! We had a mix of long hair, short hair, curly hair, straight hair, etc... and she was able to make us all look our absolute best. She also was fun and made us comfortable the whole morning that we were getting ready. I wouldn't go with anyone else!!! -
