Fantastic wedding cake and desserts

Katie is fantastic! We worked with her to create our wedding cake as well as some other small desserts for a dessert table. She was super easy to work with, and her desserts were AMAZING! Many of our guests said it was the best cake they have ever tasted. 10/10 recommend!

Exactly what we wanted!

Katie nailed it! Our wedding cake idea was fun and unique and Katie made it truly come to life, it looked better then we envisioned! Katie is amazing to work with from start to finish, she is professional and confident, but is down to earth and kind. You can tell she puts her heart into every cake she makes. Her creations are not only beautiful, they are delicious!!! People are still raving about her carrot cake!! You will not be disappointed, Katie is amazing at what she does!!!

Highly recommend!

I'm a sweets person, and the cake and desserts at our wedding were very important to me (as well as to my mom, from whom I inherited that sweet tooth!). Katie created an absolutely beautiful four-tiered wedding cake for us as well as a dessert table stocked and perfectly styled with trays of cookies, dessert shooters, macarons, and chocolate covered pretzels. Both were not only stunning but also delicious! Katie worked closely and patiently with us throughout the planning process to find options that would achieve our vision within our budget. We are so glad our paths crossed with Katie at a bridal event last year. Very highly recommend!!

We had several different sweets the Katie cakes cakery provided us . Every single dessert was amazing an delicious as well as visually stunning . I highly recommend her to anyone . An to top it all off she was so affordable . 10 stars all day

Absolutely amazing!

I highly recommend Katie Cakes! Katie is organized, friendly, and truly an artist. Katie baked a beautiful gluten free cutting cake and regular (non gluten free) cupcake tiers for our wedding. I have celiac disease and am so glad that I trusted her- she baked the most delicious cake I have ever tasted AND I didn’t get sick! She also provided a gluten free cake tasting, which I appreciated since some of the other local bakers did not. As for the regular cupcakes, she offers so many amazing flavors. It was hard to choose! We chose peanut butter explosion, chocolate chip cookie, raspberry lemonade, and Italian cannoli. I got more compliments about those cupcakes than any other part of the wedding. Katie’s cakes will blow you away!

Katie cakes cakery was THE best cake I ever ate. The butter cream was the most tastiest buttercream I ever eaten. I live over a hour away and I will drive to have another cake made.

I would consider myself an amateur baker, I bake for charity events and have done a couple of baby and bridal showers. I tell you this so you know that I know my cakes. With that being said Katie is hands down the BEST ever. I have never had such great cake! We hired Katie for our wedding this past May and I can't even begin to describe how wonderful everything was! The cakes were drop dead gorgeous! I decided to have three smaller cakes instead of one big one. Each cake had its own flavor and its own style. Even though each one was different they all worked together to make a beautiful display. Along with the three cakes on display, we ordered one sheet cake for the back so we could have four flavors. The cakes were perfectly baked, not too dry and not too moist. The icing was heavenly, I could have eaten a pool full of that icing. I have been to many weddings and at many of them I didn't eat the cake and many of the other guests didn't either. But not at our wedding! Our guests had a piece of each flavor! Everyone was asking who did the cake because it was the best they ever had! That goes to show you how great the cake was! We did have leftovers and we ate the leftovers for breakfast, lunch and dinner the days after. It was too good not to eat it all the time. Katie is truly a talented and wonderful baker, her cakes are gorgeous and delicious. AND her prices are amazing! So if you are looking for amazing cake, service and price Katie Cakes Cakery is what you need. Absolutely the BEST!

We chose Katie for our wedding cake and we couldn't be more pleased. Katie had made cakes for my cousin's surprise birthday party and we just had to have her after tasting them. We got in touch with Katie to set up an appointment, and it was smooth sailing from there. We came in for a fun taste testing appointment. It was a tough decision since there were so many delicious options but we chose apple spice and cream cheese. WOW! It was an absolute hit for our fall wedding. Our guests would not stop raving about it. We cannot wait to have our top tier for our one-year anniversary. We will be recommending Katie to all family and friends and will be contacting her in the future for birthdays etc. Thank you so much for making an absolutely beautiful and delicious cake! - Ashley & Rob

The cupcakes that we got through Katie Cakes for our wedding were hands-down the best cupcakes we've ever had. We tasted cupcakes at a bunch of different bakeries before deciding on Katie Cakes, and everywhere else had cupcakes and frosting that were almost too sweet and only tasted like sugar. Katie's cupcakes were perfect! The flavors she offered we all so delicious, and the frosting she made complemented each cupcake perfectly, rather than overpowering and hiding the flavor. All of our guests are still raving about the cupcakes, and they were a huge hit at the wedding. We will definitely be coming back for more!

Katie did an amazing job with our wedding cake! She is very talented. We showed her a picture of what we wanted and our cake turned out beautifully! Not only did it look great, but it tasted amazing as well. She is very accommodating and responds to emails very quickly. I would highly recommend her!

Had Katie make a cake for my mother's reception. Had strawberry shortcake as bottom layer and two tiers of white cake. The cake was by far the best I've ever had..absolutely delicious. Had lots of compliments. She delivered it on time,placed the flowers on it for me..I had no worries. Amazing. Highly recommended!!

I am still dreaming of the dessert table from my wedding thanks to the amazingly talented Katie Cakes!! I have a sweet tooth and I am a passionate home baker, so I was very excited and particular about the dessert table at my wedding. I always joked that I would have seven wedding cakes at my wedding and when it came time to actually plan the big day, choosing a baker was very important to me. I met Katie for a tasting and I was sold within moments of tasting her food. She prepared a tasting with an array of desserts that were all more delicious than the last. I knew I wanted to work with her and she was a delight to communicate with and helped me plan a phenomenal display of desserts that people still tell me were as delicious as they were beautiful. The site coordinator at my wedding said to me on my wedding day, "I have done more than 160 weddings here and when I saw your dessert table, my jaw dropped to the floor. It was so beautiful and it is absolutely delicious." I felt the same. Katie understood the look of the table that I was dreaming of and she made that a reality! The quality and design of her work was phenomenal. I couldn't recommend her more highly. I didn't want a table that simply looked good. I wanted a wedding cake that people would remember for it's amazing taste and she definitely made that happen! The two-tier wedding cake, cupcakes, brownies, cake pops, shooters, and even the macarons she made were all delicious. I am so happy we chose Katie for our wedding and I am now trying to think of an excuse to hire her again. Her cakes really are that good!

Katie provided our wedding with a variety of cupcakes as well as a small cake just for me and my groom. There are no words to explain just how delicious and flavorful the cake was! She has unique flavors and filling combinations and decorates adorably. Everyone at our wedding were raving about them and wishing there were extras to take home!

Katie was fantastic to work with for our wedding. Her cakes taste amazing. Our guests all commented how good our cake tasted. We gave her some ideas and let her creative process go to work. She even gave us some ideas on how to save a little money with our cake. We were not disappointed.

Katie went above and beyond with making our wedding cake beautiful and amazingly tasty. Our guests raved over the cake. I also ordered a Birthday cake for my Grandfather to have at our reception. Katie was amazing and the cakes were great too!!! We ordered one cake to cut into, and then cupcakes for our guests to enjoy in 4 different flavors. We heard lots of compliments from everything and couldn't have asked for anything more! It was great, and we can only hope that our cake still tastes good on our one year anniversary. And would use Katie again if we needed another specialty cake!

Katie created our rehearsal dinner cake, wedding cake and sweets table for our recent wedding in Hershey, PA. She is truly a professional in every sense and very easy to work with! Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous and so delicious! Katie created the most beautiful cake and we received SO many compliments!! She also created a delicious spread of goodies for our desert bar that was cleared out by the end of the night!! Everything was so beautifully decorated! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a variety of yummy deserts and cakes with great flavor, flexibility in design and a variety of flavor combinations!

We used Katie to do our dessert table at our wedding. After going to a couple wedding the past couple years, I noticed the huge wedding cake people had was going to waste so I decided to do a dessert table with different dessert options for my guests. Katie was so accommodating to all the dessert requests and even made the cupcakes gluten free for a few of my guests that have Celiac's Disease. People just raved about our dessert table and was happy to have different options for dessert.

I have used Katie Cakes Cakery for some other events and so I knew what to expect from her. And she fully met those expectations by providing me with exactly what I was looking for (300 cake pops in 4 different flavors). She was already prepared with the cake pops as soon as we went to pick them up so I did not have to worry about wasting time. And the cake pops were incredibly delicious and were a huge hit!!!!

Flexible with our wedding cake preferences. We asked for two sheet cakes and one groomsman cake for show and they were all perfect. Our guests commented that typically wedding cakes aren't all that great but they loved ours. Professional and great to work with.

Katie baked the cake for our August 1st wedding and it was beautiful! I was so happy that she was available for us after looking through her gallery and meeting with her. She does offer a tasting of flavors, icings, and fillings for $25, which can be put toward your cake if you decide to book her. She has a small delivery and set up fee--I believe $50--which was a lot more reasonable than the $200 we had been quoted by some other bakers. Her cakes are extremely delicious as well! We decided to go with the apple spice cake with a caramel buttercream filling, which was SO good! Our other flavor was a marble cake with vanilla buttercream filling for people who preferred something more traditional. Our guests were raving about it and have been talking about it since! We also went with a buttercream instead of fondant to reduce the price, and it looked so good and professionally done. She also placed some of the florist's leftover flowers around it, which was a nice touch. She was very flexible and good at getting back to me whenever I had questions or wanted to change something. I would highly recommend Katie Cakes Cakery for your wedding cake or dessert!

Our wedding cake from Katie Cakes Cakery was not only beautiful, but SO delicious. Our guests raved about our cake – we had two flavors, both were phenomenal – and Katie was such a pleasure to work with. Katie Cakes Cakery makes the most DELICIOUS cheese quesadilla cheese cake none can compare! Be sure to ask for an extra box, because the cheese is never ending!!! Love this place entirely!

Katie was amazing! My baker canceled on me three weeks before my wedding, it was a nightmare. I called Kate and she had no problem coming to my rescue. I had no time to meet in person or even show pictures of what I was looking for. She totally got my vision through a phone call and texts! For me, the beauty is in the details, and she rocks the details. Everything came together perfectly and tasted wonderful!!! I would recommend Katie Cakes Cakery to every bride I know. Outstanding!!!

Our wedding was on New Year's Eve, Katie Cakes Cakery did an amazing job with accommodating to our needs and time schedule for our event. Our cakes and cupcakes tasted great and were decorated to match our theme. We couldn't have ask for better service.

Katie provided the top tier cake for my wedding cake display. Even though I was only ordering a 6 inch cutting cake, she provided me with many flavor options to chose from. The cake tasted just as great, as it was beautiful. I chose the spice cake with apples which was to die for. I really had to contemplate whether or not I was going to share it with my guests. Katie is a true professional and delivered exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for being a special part of our day Katie.

Katie Cakes has made several cakes/cupcakes for us... several birthdays and a baby shower all of which have been FANTASTIC!!! We received so many comments on how amazing they all looked and tasted. Usually, I give Katie some color ideas or invitation for inspiration, and she continues to amaze me! Just thinking about it makes me want CAKE!!! Thank you so much Katie!!!

Katie was a true professional and can bake!!
The cake was beautiful. And it tasted wonderful. We had two different kinds of cake. Choc and white cake with ganache filling-very, very delicious. But, I can tell you that the spice cake with caramelized apple filling was the absolute best cake I have ever had!! Everyone at the wedding commented on the quality of the cake!!

Katie Cakes is AMAZING. I hired her to make my three-tier wedding cake. Katie was incredibly accessible, responsive and flexible. She had my fiancé and mother-in-law to be over to her house to try cupcakes as our tasting. Everything was fabulous! Since my parents were unable to attend the cake tasting, Katie made a separate batch of cupcake especially for my parents. She was so generous to make multiple batches of testing cupcakes. It made my parents so happy to try to samples, since they live out of town.

Katie was so creative!! She made molds from the lace of my dress so that she could replicate the exact pattern of my dress in fondant! Who has ever heard of that?! No one! Katie learned how to do it for my cake and she did a FANTASTIC job.

Her cake flavors are awesome. She made her special apple spice cake, which I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good words about Katie!! She was my favorite vendor of my entire wedding. So fun to work with - go with Katie if you are looking for elegant, tasty wedding cake!!

I cannot say enough good things about Katie! Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, but it was delicious! We went into our consult without a specific idea of how we wanted our cake to look and Katie really took the time to listen to our ideas and sketched out a vision of how it would look. She was very easy to work with and we loved the collaborative element in our consult. We received so many comments and compliments on how beautiful and unique our cake was and it truly was an eye-catching centerpiece as our guests arrived at the reception. Katie not only created a visually stunning wedding cake but one that actually tasted as good as it looked! In our consult we were given several cake flavors and icing options to sample and we opted for a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. It without question was the most moist and delicious red velvet cake we have ever had! We highly recommend Katie Cakes Cakery!

Katie makes delicious and beautiful cakes. I had called several other bakers in the area before I found Katie. They all told me what they did, they weren't listening to what I wanted.
She made us a beautiful cake, 2layers of white cake with raspberry filling and 2 layers of carrot cake, my husband's favorite.

I had my heart set on having a croquembouche ( a tower of cream puffs held together with caramel). She was quite excited about making it. So delicious and all our guests raved about it. Thank you for making my dreams come true.

Katie was wonderful to work with. It was great to know that she had everything taken care of, so we didn't have to worry about the cake at all. It was set up when we got there and looked absolutely perfect! She also made a smaller grooms cake for us at the last minute. She was very flexible for us, reasonably priced, and most importantly the cakes were amazing. We had so many guests come up to us and say how much they loved our cake. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Thank you!!

Katie did an amazing job on my wedding cake. She paid attention to every detail making my cake exactly how I pictured it. The cake looked spectacular and tasted just as good. I would highly recommend her cakes for any occassion.

Katie was wonderful!!! I was at a party where she had made the cake..and I fell in love!!! It was the most delicious cake I had eaten!!! I was getting married in a month and had our cake lined up, but I knew I needed to have Katie make our cake instead!!! Even in such short notice she was able and willing to help us!!! My wedding did not go as smoothly as I would have liked it to have been, so knowing that Katie was willing to take care of delivering, setting up, and adding my decorations to the cake was a relief. When we reached the reception, I had a moment to look around and saw the cake was exactly what I wanted, I knew everything I had planned fell together just right!!! Everyone thought it was delicious...and trust me its hard to please over 200 people!!! I continue to have Katie make cakes for other celebrations we have and I have not been disappointed!!!

Katie did an amazing job on the groom's cake that I requested her to make for our rehearsal luncheon. I asked for a music themed cake with a piano and acoustic guitar and she produced exactly what I envisioned. The flavor of the cake was outstanding. The cake was so moist and the chocolate ganache was so amazing. I cannot say enough about the affordability and extreme value of Katie's wonderful cake creations!

I ordered a cupcake tower with a small cake on top. The cupcakes were good, but the cake was amazing!!!! We ordered key lime, salted caramel, guava, and oreo cupcakes. The oreo was the best one out of all of them. I thought they were pricey for what they were. Even better was the cake! I wish now we would've went with all cake for our desserts. We got a vanilla cake with fresh strawberries, nutella ganache, and a buttercream frosting. It was outstanding! Well worth the money for that!

Katie is always a pleasure to work with. Each cake is a carefully decorated piece of cake art. As beautifully decorated as her cakes are they taste great. Definitely her decorating skills are a cut above the rest! If you can imagine it chances are Katie can create it. I look for occasions just to order from her. I have used many bakeries in the past but I prefer Katie. If you're reading this review then you don't need to look any further for a decorator. Guaranteed satisfaction!
