Kaite was such a joy to work with. She was the first photography phone call my fiance and I had and we knew immediately that she would be a wonderful addition to our vendor team. Not only is her photography beautiful, but the way she spoke to us and treated us was so sincere and gentle. We feel so blessed to have had her at wedding. Thank you so much!! -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie! She captured stunning photos of our wedding that we truly love. What really sets Katie apart is her incredible personality. She has this wonderful mix of being calming yet commanding, which is exactly what I needed on such as busy, sometimes chaotic, day. Katie made us feel so at ease and helped everything run smoothly. We are beyond grateful for her talent and presence—she made our day even more special! -

We are so thankful we found Katie! She was thoughtful throughout our planning process and our entire wedding weekend. She documented our Welcome Party and our full wedding day in April 2023 in Old Town Alexandria. She arrived early and was equipped with so many things especially for the detail photos. Whenever we hit a bump in the road (timeline, weather, venue restrictions) she quickly pivoted and made us feel confident in front of the camera. We’re looking forward to continuing to use Katie for all of our professional photography needs! -

Katie is just an all around amazing wedding photographer and an even better person! We had some complications with COVID and other events getting in the way of our engagement shoot, but Katie was just wonderful and repeatedly accommodated the changes until we had our shoot over a year and a half after our engagement! Shooting with her was so easy. She made us feel incredibly comfortable and captured many genuine smiles that made for some gorgeous pictures. No matter how you do it, some poses are just awkward! All part of the process.
Katie gave birth to her baby (congratulations!) right before our wedding date but we never worried for a moment whether we were going to have the photography coverage we needed (we did) and the photos we received back with her editing are just stunning. She never took too long to make edits and was always as responsive as we needed her to be. We felt her genuine happiness for us, and I'm sure all her couples, and I know that she puts all her love into her work. Recommend Katie a million times over! -

Katie is absolutely amazing. Her work is beautiful for sure but above that she was such a joy to work with. We hired her and she shot both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We knew from our first phone call that she was the photographer for us. She made us feel so comfortable and is so easy going that she instantly felt like a close friend. I would recommend Katie for anyone looking for a photographer. Her second shooter, Kara, was amazing as well. I look forward to working with her again for future family photos. 10/10 recommend. Hire Katie for your wedding and you won’t regret it!! -

Katie was one of the best choices we made when it came to wedding vendors. Her work is AMAZING; perfectly balanced between light, airy and sophisticated. We have so many amazing wedding photos that it is impossible to pick our favorites. She was such a calming presence on our big day that she made wedding photography low stress. Her second shooter, Kara, was very kind and talented (and made "getting ready" photos for the guys enjoyable and fun). We can't recommend Katie highly enough! -

Katie did our engagement photos and wedding photography, and we could not have been more pleased with her punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, and skill. Katie clearly takes her craft very seriously, and it shows in the quality of her photos. Beyond that, her flexibility and willingness to photograph our wedding in the midst of a pandemic was greatly appreciated, and she was even tolerant of an impatient groom (me) who doesn't love having his picture taken. Layer on the fact that Katie's rates are exceptionally affordable, and we just really couldn't be happier with the fact that we chose Katie and she was a part of our special day. Thanks, Katie! -

Truly talented!
While Katie and I have somewhat of a unique connection (we worked together and I was the baby nurse who cared for her son when he was delivered!), I really didn’t get to know her (or even know she was a photographer!) until we hired her for our wedding. And we are so incredibly happy that we did! Our wedding was small and intimate, a blending of 2 families, and she captured everything perfectly! From the moment she arrived to the house until she left the reception, she orchestrated her part in capturing our best moments so beautifully. Within moments I felt like she was a friend, there to support me, and she made our day so memorable. Our couple session after the family photos was so special. To spend those first moments of married life alone and have beautiful pictures of it is so precious to us. Katie’s passion for her work and her talent combined made for amazing photos that we absolutely cherish and will treasure for years to come.
