The best in the business!!
Katie and Alec are the best photo and video duo team! They made our day so special with their talent and ability to make us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They got so many incredible shots to capture our day seamlessly. They are so kind and caring and really are intentional! We got our wedding gallery back so fast and can’t wait to see the video soon too! If you want a top notch team for your wedding, you have to hire them! -

It is hard to put into words just how incredible Katie and Alec are. Their work is perfection. Katie and Alex captured our engagement photos and our wedding. Alec also provided the videography for our wedding. Every photo has turned out to be better than I could’ve ever imagined. The quality of their work is unmatched. Not only are they incredibly talented but they are the sweetest and most encouraging couple. You cannot help but to be happy and excited when you are with them. I highly recommend them for your next big event! -

The best experience on the best day
I’ve never had so much fun taking pictures in my LIFE. They were truly a highlight of our wedding day. Katie and Alec were so easy and sweet to work with. I was worried with the logistics of living in Texas while planning a wedding in Alabama, but Katie and Alec were quick to settle all those fears! If anything came up or I had questions, they responded so quickly to emails and were always available. So to anyone planning a wedding out of state, these are your people. I don’t usually feel natural or comfortable in front of a camera so when it came to wedding pictures I wanted to make sure I could have a connection with our photographers. Katie and Alec totally had us covered with that. Both my (now) husband and I were laughing and smiling ALL DAY LONG. It was total bliss and we couldn’t be happier with how the pictures turned out. Having two photographers is great, but having this couple as your two photographers is even better. My husband can’t stop talking about how he felt like he was hanging out with a friend the whole day. If we could do it all over again, we’d still pick these guys in a heartbeat. -

Katie and Alec are hands down the best photographers! To me, photography was the #1 thing I cared about for my wedding and they seriously did not disappoint! From the start to end of wedding day, they were so professional, laid back, and FUN! We had a wedding party of 28 people and the way they were able to navigate all of us and keep us on time is truly amazing. Since receiving all of our wedding photos, I have had multiple people reach out and tell me just how beautiful they are. If I could do it again, Katie and Alec would still be my photographers! 100/10!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -

Truly the best!! Katie and Alec went above and beyond for everything with us! They’re not just a vendor on your list; they truly care about you as a couple and want to get to know you outside of being your photographer. They are extremely personable, professional, and quick to respond. They continually checked in on us during our engagement season to see how we were during and to see if we needed anything. And obviously their pictures are flawless!! We got our engagement and wedding pictures in a very reasonable amount of time and we were blown away at how beautiful they were!! I cannot recommend Katie and Alec enough! -

Simply the best!
We had the pleasure of working with Katie & Alec, and we are forever grateful we chose them for our big day! From the very beginning, they were professional, personable and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had never had professional photos taken with each other and they helped us navigate through the poses, and truly let us be ourselves. On the day of our wedding, Katie & Alec arrived at our venue and even though I was feeling all the emotions they truly made the process seamless. They were able to capture all the important moments and emotions of our day without being intrusive or interrupting the flow of events. The quality of the photos we received is absolutely stunning! Each and every shot is beautifully composed, with attention paid to every detail. They were able to perfectly capture the essence of our day, from the joy and excitement to the love that we felt. I look at the photos often and truly remember each moment. In addition to their amazing photography skills, Katie & Alec's friendly demeanor and ability to put us at ease made our experience even more enjoyable. They were patient, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our photos. Overall, we had an amazing experience working with Katie & Alec and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for two talented and professional photographers for their big day. As my husband and I reflect on what we are most thankful for this year, Katie and Alec appear at the top of the list!
In October of this year, Kate and Alec went above and beyond to capture every perfect detail of our wedding in Miramar Beach, FL. From the photography coordination and planning to the execution on the day of, Katie and Alec were a JOY to work with and were always responsive to our needs and requests.
Our vision was bright and airy, and Katie and Alec overwhelmingly delivered. They allowed us to have input in the shots and locations we wanted while also providing expert guidance to guarantee the photographs turned out perfect. Beyond the images and memories that our families and guests are still talking about, Katie and Alec bring a calming presence to every situation. From our engagement session in Charleston, SC, to my bridal session in Birmingham, AL, to our big day at Sandestin, Katie and Alec always made us feel comfortable, loved, and appreciated. When you think a moment might/should turn hectic, Katie and Alec so eloquently stayed grounded and helped guide everyone throughout the day - staying on time while having a blast in the process.
In summary, Katie and Alec are a team that is eager to SERVE YOU! Beyond photographers, you will discover that Katie and Alec will quickly become your new friends, supporting and encouraging you throughout your current season in life. Not only are Katie and Alec incredibly talented photographers, they are some of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. They truly invested in us and made us feel calm and comfortable throughout the planning process and our wedding day. I can always count on Katie to hype me up and make me feel like a million bucks, and I can count on Alec to crack a joke and put everyone at ease. They kept us on time without rushing us, allowing us to enjoy the moment while still getting every photo we wanted. So fun to work with - the pictures were absolutely beautiful too.
Katie and Alec (and Andrew) are amazing. We needed a photographer for our engagement photos, so Tori reached out to them after talking to one of her friends who had them photograph their wedding. We had never met Katie and Alec before the day of our session, and we were a bit nervous. But, Wow oh wow!! We are beyond happy with how our pictures turned out. We loved how comfortable they made us feel, and how fun they made the experience. It was cold and rainy the day of the shoot. We were super worried we would have to reschedule because Tori was traveling a lot for school and didn't have much time to get the photos out. Instead of rescheduling, they swiftly changed the time and location of the shoot the day of, and we went with it!! They were troopers in the rain with us and made the best out of the situation. It was so fun! We’re going to look at these pictures for years, and we will always have a smile on our faces thanks to them. We will highly recommend them to anyone! I knew Katie and Alec were the perfect fit for us from the moment they said our meeting would be at an ice cream shop! These two make the best team and are continuously uplifting throughout the wedding planning process and even throughout the wedding day! Not to mention, Alec has the best magic tricks and even showed us one during our first dinner as Husband and Wife! Katie’s smile radiates throughout the room and she did anything and everything she could to make my wedding day go smoothly! Their assistant, Sam, was so sweet and so very helpful as well! Katie and Alec were on top of everything and thought of EVERYTHING! They captured our day beautifully, all the way down to our detail shots! Overall, my Husband and I would recommend Katie and Alec to anyone that is getting married! We love them and all that they have done for us during the most exciting time of our lives! -

BEST photographers!!!
There are no words to describe how amazing Katie & Alec are. They supported my husband and I through 3 postponements during covid. They captured our engagement photos, elopement day, bridal portraits, and our long awaited wedding day. Every photo captured my husband and I’s relationship perfectly! My bridal photos made me feel so beautiful and even more excited about our wedding day. We told them at the beginning that we love the outdoors, greenery, and light natural photos. They brought our vision to life with each photo!
One of my favorite memories with Katie & Alec was our epic jump shot to express how we felt about finally being married! They became like friends to us and made such a lasting impact on our wedding season and life. There are many amazing things about Katie & Alec. Having a husband and wife duo is a plus because they showed us all of the poses, they both captured photos, and Alec was the best veil tosser. Katie loved to focus on the details and Alec focused more on the creative shots! Katie fixed my hair many times in photos because she knew I cared about the details. To explain their character even more, Alec drove all the way to their house during the wedding to bring me shout wipes because my wedding dress had mud stains from the wet ground. Katie also bustled my dress too many times to count since it kept falling out. At the end of our wedding night, Katie surprised me by showing me many photos from earlier in the day. That was such a thoughtful gesture to end the night! When you book Katie & Alec, you are not just getting photographers, you are getting the most CARING people who truly are excited to celebrate YOU. They are so so sweet and even our guests were raving about them! They went above and beyond these past 2 years. We were sad to see our wedding day and season come to a close, especially since we grew close to Katie & Alec. We 100% will use them for our future family photo needs, because we are now apart of the KAfamily. You can be apart of their family too and you won’t regret it!!! -

I wish I had the words that adequately described our LOVE for Katie & Alec. I have honestly struggled to write this because the way they serve you through their work is just too good to put into a review. Seriously, it’s just too good.
From the very very beginning, when we first met them at an ice cream shop (I was sold just by this, how original!!!) they captured us. Katie & Alec strive to go further than just being your photographers, they create a relationship with you... a genuine friendship where they are praying for you and cheering you on through every single milestone. So with them, it’s more than just having the honor of photographing your big event, it’s having the honor of being a part of your lives after that event too.
Their photos are crisp, light & airy. They get every angle and photo that you would want. Katie is the posing queen, she’s getting all of those detail shots and the ones that can not be forgotten. While Alec is behind her getting all of the in-between shots, the candids. The ones that make you remember a moment just by looking at a photograph. They’re an amazing team that works so fluently together. On top of that, they make you feel like a million bucks!! For reference, my husband is shy and a little awkward around new people so he was extremely nervous heading into our engagement shoot. BUT he left our shoot so confident and content with how everything went, because of Katie & Alec. Which lead to him being so comfortable in front of the camera at our wedding. That was all them and for that, I am eternally grateful.
Listen, if you are on the fence about booking them as your photographers then this is your sign. Please just go meet them! I challenge you to sit down with them and I promise, they will surprise you in every good way possible. -

Having Katie and Alec capture our wedding day was the best decision we made. We placed the highest value on photography when budgeting our big day and interviewed several photographers in the area. Katie and Alec were so friendly and inquisitive, we felt like they really cared about making the day special for us and capturing what was meaningful to us specifically. Katie is so bubbly and encouraging, she will hype you and your photos like nobody else! It makes you feel just that extra bit special on your day. Alec was great when staying behind the scenes and capturing the most amazing candids. Both were very communicative and responded to all of our questions and took special note of details we wanted captured. They even helped with some coordinating technicalities that made the day so smooth. I am SO pleased with the quality of their work and will never forget the energy they brought to our wedding! -

Reasons why you will LOVE Katie and Alec:
These people are not only sweet, fun people, but they are also AMAZING at what they do! Their passion for loving and encouraging engaged and married couples is so evident in everything they do. It shows through every photo we got back from them. They made posing feel so natural and walked us through the whole thing. The light and airy feel and crystal-clear focus of their photo style makes it feel like a fairy tale. It's hard picking a favorite to hang in our home--they made us feel like models in a magazine! (Speaking of which, like, come on... they've been featured in Southern Bride magazine... nbd.) You will LOVE having Katie and Alec as your photographer! It was the best decision we made about the whole wedding! Love these two so dearly. -

Katie and Alec are fantastic people who do amazing work. They are so personable and easy to talk to which made us feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. It was our first professional session, and they made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. After the first 2 or 3 pictures, we knew we could just be ourselves. A really bad storm cut our session short, but that didn't stop them from getting more than enough AMAZING photos. We love them and would recommend them to anyone!! -

My husband and I met with two other photographers before we finally met with Katie & Alec. We were recommended them by Steph at Engaged. I was sold when they wanted to meet for ice cream! We instantly fell in love with them and their love for engaged couples, weddings and their own marriage. We felt really awkward taking engagement photos at first but with Alecs magic tricks, their coaching and attitude, they made us feel like super stars and made our engagement session so much fun! When it came to wedding photos, we were specific that we wanted a lot of detail photos and boy did they get all the details! We had a very large wedding party and they made all the pictures look great and not like a crowd of people. They made our wedding day so special, truly when I think of our wedding day I think of Katie and Alec and how grateful we are that they captured such special moments. Besides how great of people they are, their photos are truly stunning!! When we got all our photos back, I couldnt believe that was us! I had the hardest times picking photos for our album bc they were all so great! I love the lighting they capture. They have also followed up with us since our wedding multiple times. They really are an inspiration and just good people to be around and invite to be a part of your special day. The lord shines through them! Book Katie & Alec!!! -
