Where to begin? Kathy and Hunter are AMAZING! They make taking photos with a large group of people fun and not stressful! My husband was worried about having to take “getting ready” photos because he’s a guy and was worried about getting 8 other guys to take photos,, Hunter showed up and made the whole experience enjoyable for all of them so enjoyable that he brought it up to me the next day and said how great it was and how Hunter helped make sure all the guys looked ready for our big day! Kathy and Hunter pay attention to detail which truly matters for your big day. Kathy is just wonderful!! She not only gets the job done efficiently, but has so much fun while doing it. You can tell she truly has a passion for photography. There were many moments through the day where she was like our cheerleader getting so excited after seeing what she captured. This from a clients point of view is comforting knowing that they are excited with the photos they are capturing- it made me excited to see the final products! Kathy and her team make taking photos not awkward and helps give pointers to you when needed. They capture the moments you will cherish forever. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to have Kathy Thomas photography capture my big day!!! Don’t let the opportunity for them to capture yours be missed - you wont regret making the investment in them. -

There aren’t enough words to express how Kathy and her team perfectly captured our magical wedding day.
From our initial consultation phone call, I immediately felt a click with Kathy. She was excited to hear about our story, which made my decision easy to choose her as our photographer. From that moment, I knew this was a passion for her and not just a job.
Our gallery revealed thousands of pictures we will treasure forever. Our pictures are bright, beautiful, and include moments where emotion was captured in the shot. Kathy and her team made the extra effort to capture specific details of our wedding that we would never want to forget such as invitations, as well as candid moments of both loved ones, and guests enjoying the evening! I also used Kathy for a boudoir shoot, which she killed. My pictures turned out professional, sexy and classy, which was everything I was hoping for.
One thing that makes Kathy stand out the most is her energy. From initial booking to wedding day, she made you feel comfortable and brought a fun environment for everyone in the bridal suite getting ready as well as towards guests.
Her expertise comes along with recommendations for flattering poses when taking family pictures and portraits.
If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t look any further than choosing Kathy and her team. Luckily, we look forward to working with her in the future as life unfolds as the years go by such as future family portraits, pregnancies etc. Her magic behind the camera shows in both her work and personality. We are so lucky to have built this friendship with Kathy and look forward to making more memories over the years come. -

My best wedding decision!
The best decision I made for my January 2022 wedding was hiring Kathy Thomas and her team for photography! Since pictures and video are what you have left of your wedding day after it's over, this decision felt like the biggest one I had to make. I would choose Kathy and her team every time with zero hesitation. Kathy's work impressed me because it's the best I found, but more than that, she is truly a wonderful person, and she hires the most wonderful people to work with her. We loved having Kathy and Hunter as part of our day! Multiple family members and guests commented to me after the wedding specifically about Kathy and Hunter, how impressive they were and how great they were to work with. We love this team and can't wait to book family sessions with them in the future! -

Kathy and her team captured our magical day better than we could have ever hoped! The final photos were stunning, exactly the style and moments we had asked for plus plenty more, and working and getting to know Kathy was such a wonderful treat and the cherry on top of the great service!
Communication throughout the process was prompt and helpful. Day of they were a blast to have around and did a great job of just blending in and capturing candid moments without anyone even really realizing what was happening.
Then, when it came time to have us go to specific spots or do specific things, Kathy was such a pro and so efficient with our time and gave us all the possible photo options we could ever want. For a couple who isn't the most comfortable being photographed we couldn't have been happier with the experience!
Everyone in the family and wedding party had nothing but great things to say about their interactions with Kathy and the pictures that we received after. Memories we will remember much more vividly for a lifetime thanks to KTP! -

Great photographer, beautiful pictures!
Kathy and her team photographed our wedding in June 2020 at the Mission Inn Resort in Florida. They were very professional and did an amazing job in capturing special moments that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. Kathy has an incredible eye for lighting, she's creative in her selection of photo shoot locations, and has the ability to make anyone look good and feel comfortable in front of a camera (I hate taking pictures). With her positive energy, friendly personality and amazing talent for photography I definitely recommend her as your photographer for any event that you want recorded and remembered. -

I met Kathy on a wedding/photo shoot throughout NYC. As soon as I saw her photos, I knew she was someone I wanted to photograph my wedding and I wasn’t even dating my husband then! Kathy has such an amazing energy about her and that translates through to her craft. You can feel her passion throughout your photos she delivers! Kathy and Christina (her assistant) made us feel 100% comfortable throughout our wedding day (we all know those intimate photos can be awkward). Every moment was documented for our wedding from the details, dinner, the dancing and all the love and with Kathy’s photos you will be able to relive all those memories through her photography! -

Kathy is amazing to work with! I highly recommend her! From the moment we met her, she was incredibly positive, energetic and seems genuinely excited to be working with you. Her amazing personality and energy make you feel like you are hanging out with a friend which helps to put you at ease. She went above and beyond to get the perfect pictures from our wedding. We had a sneak peek of our pictures the next day and received the rest a few weeks later which I thought was quick. We will definitely be using her again! -

I first met Kathy several years ago, before I had ever done any kind of professional photo shoot. I was extremely nervous about having pictures taken. Kathy made me feel SO comfortable, and made being in front of the camera the easiest thing! I didn't have to worry about what to do. Kathy has such amazing vision and focus with her photography. She'll tell you exactly what to do, and you will be absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the result! I've since done several shoots with Kathy, from engagement, boudoir, and wedding! She makes the experience so fun and incredibly easy. Not only that, but you will get the most GORGEOUS photos you will ever have in your life, to commemorate all those special moments. Kathy is also the best at capturing those emotional moments that you may not even realize--i.e., the way your man looks at you coming down the aisle, or your mother's tears as she sees you exchange vows. She doesn't miss a beat. Kathy is also incredibly engaging and easy to work with. She is simply THE BEST! -

She was my other "the one"!
Photographers were not a huge priority on my list when starting to plan my wedding. My mother and my groom were much more in tune with photography, so I told them I would leave the decision up to them. That all changed when we met with Kathy. I knew then and there that she was not only the I wanted, but she was the one I needed. Kathy's background in fashion, her use of light and her ability to be creative with photos were huge selling points, but her personality and ability to bridge gaps in thinking, even while being amazing personable and professional is nothing short of amazing. I have always been a camera shy person and never liked how pictures of myself turned out, this was the first time I've ever loved photos as they seemed to truly capture the moment, not just the image. -

The BEST Wedding Photographer
Kathy shot our wedding at the Luxmore Grande Estate on March 24, 2018. I could NOT say enough about how wonderful she was from the very start! She made my fiance feel comfortable during our engagement session to help make our photos exactly what we wanted. On wedding day, she was a source of calmness for me! Her and the second photographer were so wonderful with all of our family and friends and the few sneak peeks that I've gotten a few days later, people are just RAVING about! We loved having Kathy shoot our wedding! -

She is incredibly passionate and takes photography to another level. She listens, she is responsive and her attention to detail will put your mind at ease. It was wonderful knowing that on my wedding day, all I needed was to smile, laugh and enjoy my day because every one of those moments I wanted to look back I, I could. David was our second shooter before and during the wedding and he too was incredible! Pictures flowed easy, everything we spoke about was captured and they worked flawlessly together throughout the entire day. Our photos literally brought our wedding day back to life and we are forever thankful to Kathy and her team.

Ana Sent on 03/15/2016Ahhh Kathy what can I say about you?! I have been thinking about what to write on this review for days and I cannot come up with something that would come even close to how much love and respect we have for you!
Kathy was the MOST amazing vendor we had and we are so blessed she was recommended to us by our planner, I could not imagine having anyone else capture our day but her. She has the BEST personality and its so passionate about her work you just wanna hug! Every time I talk about her I have the biggest smile on my face because she made our day everything I've ever dreamed of.
I would recommend her to anyone I know (my friends are all starting to get married ;) ) and that is looking for the most fun photographer to be around! You are guaranteed to laugh the entire day.
I think our wedding (and engagement session) was just the beginning of a long relationship...bring on maternity shoots, vow renewals and anything else that involves photography!
