  Kathryn is AMAZING!

  I knew from the minute I was engaged that I wanted to have Kathryn as our photographer. I've known Kathryn for years and she has done a few of my friends' weddings. Kathryn did our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and both turned out so amazing. My husband is a very awkward picture taker, but Kathryn was able to make him feel comfortable and our pictures came out great!
  
  Our wedding pictures were next level gorgeous. I honestly can't stop looking at them. Kathryn is a DREAM to work with. She was able to be with me in the morning while I got ready, and her husband was with my partner and his people while they got ready. It was so nice to have pictures of both groups in the morning!
  
  I highly recommend her! Your pictures will come out absolutely magical. You will not be disappointed!

  Best decision we made!

  Choosing Kathryn Frugé as our photographer was one of the easiest and best decisions we made for our wedding. She was the photographer for our best man’s wedding, and we fell in love with her work right away. Kathryn went above and beyond to make the wedding planning process so much easier - she makes a beautiful guide for all of her couples and it was full of SO many helpful tips for logistics, the day-of timeline, and so many other things we hadn’t even thought about. I can’t tell you how many times I referenced her guide when it came to making decisions. She was so approachable and down to earth, and quick to respond to any of my questions - even when she was on her maternity leave! Working with Kathryn and her husband Griffin on our actual wedding day was phenomenal. They made the whole day feel effortless and fit right in with our bridal party. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing - Kathryn and Griffin made sure everything fell into place perfectly. They coordinated everything and everyone so well. We did family portraits after the ceremony (with big extended families), and we couldn’t believe how smooth and efficient they made the whole process of getting everyone where they needed to be. They made us feel so natural in front of the camera (and neither of us really like having our pictures taken). Kathryn is a true professional and an amazing person. We are SO glad she captured the best day of our lives!

  December Wedding in Cincinnati

  Kathryn Fruge Photography was easily one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding. Working with Kathryn (and her amazing sidekick husband) was so easy and fun. By the time the wedding day came, it was so natural to have both Kathryn and Griffin with us that they felt just part of the wedding party. The product itself is visually stunning, and Kathryn has such a great natural eye for staging and framing photos to create visually dramatic but emotional shots. Kathryn Fruge Photography is worth every single penny, and compared to other photographers of this caliber, it is not that many pennies! HIRE KATHRYN

  Amazing Wedding Photography

  Looking for a wedding photographer is intimidating. When you hear that it’s an investment - that’s no joke. I had no idea where to start and after several referrals that fell flat (or were outrageously priced) I found Kathryn through a referral from family. I looked at her Instagram and am not ashamed to admit I was sold then. I met with Kathryn and she was as sweet as can be but also had a very focused, professional demeanor when describing her photography. It was important for my husband and me when looking at vendors to support people who we trusted, connected with on a personal level, and who we knew would take care of business when the big day came. The fact that Kathryn had a vision and was starting her own business with her husband’s help also made me feel confident that she would pour her heart into her work.
  
  Our engagement photos turned out amazing, despite it being below freezing, and Kathryn was amazing working every shot she could despite it being incredibly cold outside. We cherished those photos so much and I knew our wedding photos would be just as incredible.
  
  Kathryn was also available through the whole planning process, free to meet and have coffee and talk through the technical and the emotional process of planning our day. Her support was especially helpful in reassuring me I was planning a memorable day when we are all as brides constantly bombarded with Instagram and Pinterest and Facebook pressure to buy that next thing and push our budgets past their seemingly feeble limits for whatever reason.
  
  But, what about the photos? I haven’t stopped posting on Facebook and Instagram and it’s our three month anniversary today. We used them to bring tears to our mothers’ eyes in photo albums at Christmas. I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life, and my husband was an absolute hunk despite him not usually liking being in photos. I look at the photos almost daily. I can feel and smell and hear the day and night of our wedding when I pour over them. Our family photos were done with 15 minutes left in cocktail hour, and having Kathryn and Griffin at our reception was like having two fabulous friends who happened to be perfectly positioned for every great moment that unfolded. Griffin was great with the guys and as a second shooter, and was so heartfelt and genuine in his help on the day of (even through a suit crisis). Kathryn is a superstar, and also a phenomenal human being, the best kind of person to trust and share your day with.
  
  Have I hit a character limit yet? Choose Kathryn, you won’t regret it.

  She's literally the Best of Both Worlds (Professional + Fun)

  For a bride-to-be, choosing the best fit for the wedding dress, venue and photographer are your top priorities. When Chris and I started our search for wedding photographers, we were referred to Kathryn and were immediately impressed by the work we saw on her site (kathrynfruge.com).
  
  It was obvious from our first meeting that Kathryn sensed exactly the type of photos we wanted, and our family and friends still rave about how sweet and "real" our engagement pictures are.   We LOVED getting to work with Kathryn! She was always one step ahead of me in the planning process, which made it so easy for me to make decisions and be really prepared for our big day. She was also a joy to have around all day. My bridesmaids LOVED her and she was so good at making us feel welcome, which - of course - made our pictures even better when we felt at home on our big day.

  The day of our engagement photos I felt insecure and unexcited about getting in front of a camera, as soon as we met up with Kathryn to start shooting she wiped all of my insecurities away with kindness!! Not only do I love my photos but we had the best time laughing and talking with her while she took our pictures.
  
  And the wedding day!!!! Kathryn and Griffin made everything run so smoothly. Our family knew where to be for their photos and our bridal party had such a fun time getting the sentimental shots and the goofy ones!! I have all the photos I could ever want!!!! Love this woman, and love her talents!!! I would recommend her 1000 times over.

  The perfect photographer!

  I could not ask for a better photographer! When looking for a photographer I wanted to make sure not only that they took amazing photos but that I also got felt comfortable with them. I knew from the engagement photos when I hadn't decided yet on my outfit and she was helping me decide on shoes and reapplying my lipstick that she was going to be perfect for me. During the planning she helped me navigate so many things about weddings that I was completely clueless about and was there for anything I needed. She was with me for almost my entire wedding day and she was able to keep me calm and help things run smoothly more than anyone. Griffin spent the day with the boys and they all loved him and he accomplished the impossible task of getting the boys to not only take photos but have fun while doing so. We had a huge snow storm the day before our wedding and they were champs in the 20 degree weather, hiking through the snow to get us the perfect pictures. They both went above and beyond just being photographers to make our day perfect and make sure we got beautiful photos. I am so in love with our photos and every time I look at them they take me back to that day! They captured so many in the moment pictures that truly reflect the love and happiness of the day. Even since our wedding Kathryn continues to reach out and ask us how we are doing. It is more than just a business deal to them and they truly care about the couples they work with. They are seriously the best and you will be soooo glad if you choose them to photograph you wedding day!

  Kathryn and Griffin Frugé are amazing at what they do. For our engagement photos and wedding photos, they perfectly coached us through multiple positions that led to my husband and I just having fun while Kathryn captured those moments. Kathryn was such a help to have throughout my wedding day (and even planning; she’s the one who recommended my venue when I had trouble finding the perfect one!) Kathryn and Griffin’s excitement about working with you is genuine and noticeable from the second you book with her till you get your photographs back. She sends fun encouraging emails throughout your wedding planning process and even thoughtful surprises � She makes sure you get exactly what you want and more. Her and her husband are such a delight to have at your wedding too. Kathryn is able to get things done, while having a stress free and gentle personality. She even offered family photos to my guests, which was so sweet; because she was able to get everything she needed done, she had time for that. � Not to mention, the results of her work are sooo amazing. She uses digital and film; Kathryn’s passion for film, makes you want to start shooting film yourself! I would definitely recommend her for any type of photography!!!!!
