Kathleen was great through the entire experience!

Incredibly talented and kind

Kathleen is amazing! She photographed our *very* last minute elopement (like planned and got married in less than a week!) We were planning on getting married outside but the weather was not in our favor, she suggested some other venues which turned out to be even better than we could have imagined.

Not only did she take the most beautiful photos but she saved our wedding day from the being soaked in the rain and still keeps in touch to see how we’re doing. She is incredibly talented and such a kind amazing human!

Excellent!

Brooke and I are so happy to have hired Kathleen for our engagement and wedding photos! We could not have asked for a better experience throughout the whole process! She was punctual and professional on both days of our pictures. Her assistant Anthony was also very helpful with myself and the groomsmen on the day of the wedding! All of our photos came out great! Amazing photos!

We were so happy with our decision to use Kathleen for both our engagement pictures and our wedding in NOLA. She was so kind and professional during our sessions. We got engaged right at the start of the pandemic so both our engagement session and wedding took place during the crazy COVID time and she was so accommodating. She was also very efficient with her time. We had a relatively large wedding party but didn't want to spend too much of our allotted time at the venue taking pictures. Kathleen did perfect with this and helped us get all the pictures we wanted done in a timely manner.

Couldn't recommend Kathleen enough!

Kathleen did such an amazing job capturing our day! We couldn't be happier with our photos. Throughout the entire process, Kathleen went the extra mile— whether it was making sure we got every photo on our very long shot list or doing specific edits we requested for the images. We had a fairly large bridal party, and Kathleen did an amazing job of keeping things moving to get through the portraits. It was a pleasure to have her team with us on our day -- we had so much fun with them doing our first look photos. We absolutely would recommend her to our friends and family!

Being both a covid bride and planning from a different state, Kathleen was an integral part in how perfect our day was! Not only were our photos beautiful, dreamy, perfectly New Orleans, Kathleen went above and beyond when we had to -- mid-engagement shoot-- book a completely new hotel for the trip we were already on! She had suggestions when we needed them, but listened to the things that were important to us to be captured.

We can't say enough good things!

Kathleen is such a great photographer! She took pictures for our engagement and wedding and everything turned out amazing! She is so easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable. WOW, I cannot put adequately into words how thankful we are to have had Kathleen Fox be our photographer for both our wedding and engagement photos! She was SUCH a joy to work with from the start, and my husband and I truly felt that she became our friend over our engagement year. She was the most calming presence on our wedding day, and planned out a detailed schedule in advance so my husband and I never had to worry about a thing! In addition, because we got married during the pandemic, she was SO flexible , kind, and understanding when our plans changed, and handled everything with grace. She did whatever it took to make sure that we got the photos that we wanted, and we will truly treasure them for a lifetime. We are so thankful for her!! My family cannot get over how beautiful our wedding photos are or how nice Kathleen is :) We cannot recommend her enough!

Kathleen made our day unforgettable!

We were so lucky to find Kathleen to photograph our destination wedding in Audobon Park! From our first contact, she was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the city. We had the idea of a wedding at the Tree of Life, but she helped us with all of the details to make the day the best of our lives. From her suggestion to do a first look at Oak Alley, to her flexibility and help in creating back-up plans in the middle of a pandemic, Kathleen was a major support through it all. After a few pandemic-related hiccups, Kathleen worked with us to adapt our plans and readily communicated with us through emails and Skype calls. She handled the many, many changes with grace and understanding. When the big day finally arrived, Kathleen was such a calm and positive presence (which every couple needs on such a momentous day). The first look and wedding went off without a hitch, and we have beautiful shots that captured the emotion of the moment. The photos really show us as a couple and are enhanced by Kathleen’s vision as a photographer. Her use of light and natural elements created one-of-a-kind photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Best Wedding Photographer!

Kathleen is AMAZING! We originally booked Kathleen for our wedding in May and had to postpone until July due to Covid-19. She was extremely flexible and accommodating even during a pandemic! We weren't planning on taking engagement pictures but she offered us a free session with our package and we have some great pictures and it allowed us to get to know her before our wedding day. Kathleen is incredibly talented a complete professional. We were amazed to have our wedding photos within 3 weeks! Our pictures are GORGEOUS and she captured so many wonderful candid photos that truly allow us to relive our wedding day.

Excellent Photos & Excellent Experience

I could not recommend Kathleen enough. She went above and beyond. We only met a handful of time but we felt so comfortable with her. She made the photo shoot so natural and a enjoyable time. It was a last minute booking , and she was so accommodating. She was willing to do an engagement shoot in the middle of MARDI GRAS! She knew perfectly how much space to give us during the ceremony, and captured every angle. She had perfect timing. She captured the reception perfectly. AMAZING! They really were more than just our photographers. Right from our first meeting, Trey and I felt at Home with Kathleen. She really got us and exactly the sort of photography we were after for our wedding. From the beginning through to the end she offered endless support, advice and guidance. On the day itself we felt in safe hands and it was like having three friends there with you! Better than I could have imagined

Kathleen was hands down the best choice that we made for our wedding. She and her second shooter Carl were so wonderful and made us feel so comfortable in front of a camera. Kathleen is very attentive to detail and truly made our vision come through in our photos. The photos are GORGEOUS. 80000x better than I expected and my expectations were HIGH. Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding

Kathleen is not only an amazing photographer, she also has a great personality and makes the photo shoots incredibly enjoyable. We worked with Kathleen for our wedding and engagement photo shoot, and by the end of our sessions, we were sad it was over because it seriously felt like we had made a new friend. Amazing Results!

There aren't enough words of praise for Kathleen and her ability to capture the beauty and love around us. I had seen many examples of this with others, but recently witnessed it for myself! Kathleen photographed our newborn granddaughter and blew me away with the artistry and rawness of a tiny baby and her amazing mom, dad and big brother too! But the icing on the cake was our son's wedding. Kathleen had everyone at ease - even during family portraits. She captured the attention of the young children, as well as the deep and profound love of the happy couple. After shooting a full day from first look to cake cutting, she had the presence of mind to whisk the bride and groom away for a just a few minutes to capture a breathtaking silhouette surrounded by the faintest of raindrops. The previews are amazing and we can't wait to see more!!

Kathleen was amazing! She responded quickly and was happy to help in any way. Any questions we had she answered wonderfully and quickly. She helped us with picture ideas since we are from out of the area and her suggestions were perfect. Kathleen was incredibly nice and patient with us. We were late to the ceremony and subsequently ran over our allotted time but she just went with the flow! When we walked around the french quarter she offered her shoes to my wife who had forgotten flats after wearing heels all day and also carried our bag of props and miscellaneous things. I would highly recommend Kathleen to anyone who wants a photographer who wants someone who cares and is knowledgeable. We received highlight pictures immediately and then received the entire set very quickly after! You'd be making a mistake if you passed her up!

Working with Kathleen was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. She is extremely responsive, collaborative and went above and beyond for us. Our vow renewal ceremony was outdoors in an excessively hot day. Kathleen, however, was cool as a cucumber when it came to finding beautiful backdrops in the Quarter for our photos, keeping us organized and making sure she captures ever we could have asked for. Amazing and Wonderful!

Kathleen Fox was the photographer for my daughter's wedding - and what a wonderful amazing photographer she was! She quietly, and unobtrusively, but expertly photographed all aspects of the day - from the make-up and hair styling to the speeches at the wedding dinner - and she did so in such a way that those folks who weren't at the wedding could feel the joy and love and fun of the day.

The best decision we made

Two of the biggest qualities that you need in a wedding photographer are organization and talent, and Kathleen has both of these to spare. Not only does she have a magnificent eye for documenting key moments that you want to remember, but she is very organized - yet flexible - and therefore a hugely calming presence. My husband and I do not love having our pictures taken but you would never know that from Kathleen's work; we appear relaxed, happy, and joyful. Many many people have told me that they became emotional looking at our wedding photos, which I attribute to Kathleen's remarkable skills. Hiring Kathleen was easily one of the best decisions that we made.

Kathleen is the best photographer in the world. She and her second shooter Karl were truly fantastic on our wedding day; they brought real joy to the day and taking photos, and that joy truly shows in the finished photos. We are having trouble ordering prints because we can't narrow down, since we love them all so much. They were incredibly organized and kept us perfectly on our timeline. Before they even came to us to start taking photos, they scoped out the most photogenic spots around our venue, so once we started taking photos outside they already had the perfect backdrops lined up. Our friends and family loved working with them all day too. She was our very favorite of all our vendors we worked with, and we got our photos back so fast. We honestly cannot recommend Kathleen enough!!

Kathleen shot my sister’s wedding and was amazing! I helped my sister look at other photographers, but no one compared to Kathleen’s work.

She was responsive and professional through out the whole process. The day of the wedding she was so friendly and made all of us feel at ease. She felt like a part of the family!

Kathleen and her partner Karl did an outstanding job of capturing every precious moment from our big day. Kathleen has a knack for getting the perfect shot, both candid and posed. My favorite images are the ones she caught of Sara and myself gazing into each other's eyes with huge smiles on our faces...these were completely candid and she snuck the shots between portrait poses! So beautiful. The most important part is that Kathleen and Karl were very cool people and felt like an extension of our friends and family while they were photographing our day. That makes it so much easier to work with them and get the great shots that will be so much fun to look back on when we're old and gray.

Kathleen was recommended to us by a good friend for our wedding in September. We couldn’t be happier that she agreed to be our photographer. Her second shooter Kaitlyn was also very talented and effortlessly dealt with my husband and his crazy groomsmen! They were both friendly, professional and made us feel comfortable every step of the way on a day that had high potential for stress.

Kathleen kept in touch with us leading up to our wedding day to make us feel comfortable about the day-of plan, offering suggestions on the first look location and scheduling. Our wedding was in NYC and may have been frustrating for other photographers, but she maneuvered the logistics seamlessly and even helped out with small details that meant so much to me, like carrying a bag of mine when I just needed an extra hand, capturing a last minute shot I asked for of our rings on the NY Times newspaper, etc. She remained so calm throughout a crazy whirlwind of a day and remembered every important shot I had asked for in advance, including family portraits and group shots at the wedding! She also perfectly captured a difficult shot of my husband and I on the rooftop surrounded by our guests holding sparklers, with the Empire State Building behind us- not an easy feat considering the time sensitivity!

We just received the final product and we were blown away. Hands down the best photos I’ve ever seen and beyond what we expected! Perfect lighting, angles and candid shots I didn’t even realize they got! They truly captured the happiness of the day and gave us an irreplaceable gift.

Thank you so much Kathleen! Our friends have already asked who our photographer was, and we have highly recommend you to them. We hope to have you as our photographer for another event in the near future!

Of all the vendors we worked with on our wedding day, Kathleen was our favorite! I'm not really into posing for the camera in general, but Kathleen and her assistant instantly made me feel relaxed about the process. They never forced me to hold any poses or take any shots that I wasn't comfortable with. When I had a little Bridezilla moment (my blood sugar was dropping from hunger, my feet were hurting and I felt like I was going to faint), Kathleen even came to the rescue with water and gluten free pretzels. Both she and her assistant captured so many great moments... which leads me to actual photos. All of my friends have complained about their photographers taking several months to deliver the finished product. Kathleen works at lightning speed! The next day, she had already posted several photos. Within a few weeks, she posted a sneak-peek blog post, sent me all of my photos with an online link, and delivered a thumb drive with every single image. Overall, Kathleen was fantastic to work with, and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer.

My husband Mike and I were married on May 30, 2015 and Kathleen not only took our wedding photos, but also took our engagement photos. We were incredibly lucky in the sense that our engagement photos were a dual session (one at twilight, one during the morning) that involved cherry blossoms.

First and foremost, Kathleen is an absolute sweetheart and you could not ask for a kinder and more loving person! This isn't something that you often find with photographers so working with Kathleen is like a fresh breath of air! She is incredibly professional with her photo taking and assured us from the very beginning that she would do her best to ensure we received all of the wedding moments and shots we were looking to get. She also did a great job capturing very special moments (we caught a glimpse of a shot she took of my husband looking at me and his mother looking at him....so touching!) and was able to get these incredible additional shots during the ceremony from the rear of the church, which was such a relief because our church did not allow flash photography or movement once the ceremony began.

There's a reason Kathleen is constantly voted Best of..on the Knot.com and other wedding websites...because she truly IS the best! Additionally, her second shooter Karl was lovely to work with! He did a great job making sure my 18 month old niece smiled in our pictures and was a great compliment to Kathleen.

Fellow brides: booking Kathleen was the easiest decision my husband and I made during our wedding planning and we are extremely pleased with the results so far. Her talent speaks for itself!!!

We chose Kathleen Fox Photography for our engagement and wedding photography and were not disappointed. Kathleen met with us early on before we had decided on a photographer, and her easy-going, relaxed manner, plus the wonderful photos in her albums and on her blog made choosing Kathleen Fox an easy choice. She was flexible with our budget and created a package perfect for the needs of our wedding day. We also chose to do engagement photos, which turned out beautifully, and made us even more excited to have Kathleen photograph our wedding. We even asked Kathleen the day before our engagement session if she’d be willing to accommodate a major change in site for our engagement photos – which she did without a problem at all!

On the day of our wedding, Kathleen came early to photograph the girls while Karl went to photograph the guys. Kathleen was flexible, since we weren’t quite finished with lunch when she arrived, and took shots when we were ready. Karl had everyone laughing, enjoying the excitement, and of course, taking wonderful photos. The rest of our wedding day was photographed beautifully; Kathleen and Karl took the opportunities they saw to capture all of the special moments, as well as obliged us and our guests for some “on-demand” photos as the opportunities arose.

When we saw the sneak-peak after the wedding, I couldn’t wait to see all of the pictures! It was so wonderful to relive the day (over, and over again!) with family and friends, and to be grateful for the moments and memories captured. When we received all of the photos, we were, unsurprisingly, thrilled. We were married on August 23, 2014 and used Kathleen Fox Photography [KFP] for our wedding photographer.

We also utilized KFP to take our engagement photos, which we used for our Save the Date and a guest book for guests to sign at our wedding, which everyone loved!

Kathleen and Karl did such a wonderful job on our wedding photos. They got all the shots we had asked for, plus so many more that I didn’t even think of! They were very helpful throughout the day; always making sure my husband and I looked our best in every photo.

Kathleen and Karl were also very discreet and there are many pictures that we didn’t even know they took because they did such a great job of blending in which allowed us to enjoy our day.

KFP were able to capture the moments of our wedding perfectly, and all the portrait pictures are beautiful as well! It’s going to be tough choosing photos for our wedding album because they are all amazing!

I cannot stress how AMAZING Kathleen is! She shot my engagement shoot and the pictures were gorgeous. The day of the wedding, Kathleen came to my room while her second shooter, Karl who is fantastic, stayed with my husband and the groomsmen. I unfortunately was having issues with my hairstylist and was upset but Kathleen helped to calm me down and made me feel relaxed. Although we ended up running behind schedule due to my hairstylist, Kathleen made sure that all the pictures I wanted to take were taken. Her and Karl really made the day perfect. The thing I love most about Kathleen is that she will put pictures on FB a day or two after the wedding as a "sneak peak." I received my wedding photos about a month later and was blown away at how amazing they came out. I am so happy I choice Kathleen for my wedding. We had such a great experience with Kathleen and her assistant, Karl on our wedding day in November!! Kathleen was super professional and easy to work with, especially for someone who was planning a wedding from out-of-state :-). We have all the photos we wanted, and then tons more! We have so many shots of the perfect little details from our day, as well as all of the photos of friends and family that we asked her to get.

Kathleen and Karl also did a great job of helping in situations that got a little hectic - for example, gathering our families for photos in a quick, organized way - and did so in such a pleasant and polite way! Also, we got our photos in a really timely fashion (super helpful for brides who want to use their photos for thank you cards, etc.!). I thought I would feel uncomfortable being in front of the camera all day but her easy-going demeanor and professionalism made everything very relaxed. I had a fairly large wedding party and a big group of family that we wanted to get together for pictures. Kathleen was great at working with the large groups by organizing them quickly and efficiently but still having fun. Most importantly, all of the pictures came out GREAT and we got them back within 1 month of the wedding. I can't wait to get the album but am going to have such a difficult time picking which pictures to include! I would totally recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a photographer and plan on using her again in the future.

Kathleen was the best.

The photos of our wedding are AMAZING - she knew just the way to ask everyone to move to catch us looking natural and beautiful, without seeming posed. At our reception, she and Karl worked together to get a photo of every single person that was at our wedding - we love that we'll be able to look back at these photos and remember each person that was there, that is so special. Really and truly great work. We believe this and we have heard it from everyone who has seen the photos, as well.

Additionally, she really made Mike & I feel comfortable with every step in the process. Having never planned a wedding before (haha!), she helped us to know what information she required and she regularly communicated with us. Never once did we have to wonder what was happening with the photos, before or after. It was always very clear.

Not only did Kathleen capture every moment of our special day perfectly, she was also a pleasure to work with throughout this whole experience. She and her second shooter Karl were so fun and so creative, the pictures really show every emotion and all the joy we all felt that day. One of the most important things to me was that my now husband and I didn't see each other before the ceremony, and Kathleen and Karl were on top of it so we could still take amazing photos of the bridal parties - separately - without accidentally seeing each other! We had access to all the photos after only a couple of weeks, and were able to see most of the best ones on her blog even sooner! I couldn't be happier with my choice in photographers!! I would HIGHLY recommend Kathleen Fox Photography, and hope to use her again someday in the future!!!

My husband and I just got married on NYE and had Kathleen and her assistant Karl shoot our wedding. We can't say enough good things about them! They started the day taking getting ready shots of us and stayed with us throughout the entire night! Both of them were super professional and listened to everything we asked for. Both of them were upbeat and happy which made it that much easier to take photos, especially when it's freezing outside! They are definitely not the type of photographers to be in your face, they respect that you want to have a good time and capture every moment of your night! Even our guests were commenting at how amazing they were! We have only seen one picture as of yet (it's still only 4 days post wedding!) but we LOVE what we've seen already and wanted to write a review immediately! If you are looking for a great photographer, definitely go with Kathleen!! We highly recommend her!

We used Kathleen's services for our engagement shoot and were so excited by her work that we had to have her shoot the wedding. Before our wedding, she took the time to go over all of the little details with us i.e., what photos were important to us, what photos weren't, and helped us with ideas for portrait locations that would match the style of wedding. She also had another photographer, Karl, shoot the wedding with her.

They were both fabulous!

On that day, no detail went uncovered, even helping to gently adjust us when we may not have been in the most flattering poses! I have to say that we have photos of each and every special moment. Even with this level of coverage, they never were obtrusive. They had no problem when we requested to do our portraits on the boardwalk with a terrbile storm hanging over our heads, shoot us playing a water gun race (even putting out the money becasue we had no cash!), and chase us around the carousel inside to get some shots!

Our pictures are beautiful and working with Kathleen and Karl was awesome!

My fiancé Scott and I hired Kathleen for our engagement photos in the fall of last year. Her laid back, cheerful attitude really helped my fiancé and I feel comfortable and at ease. It was a crisp, sunny day and we had gorgeous fall colors for our backdrop. Our final photos were both playful and intimate. She captured our personalities and our surroundings beautifully, playing with the natural light to create more dramatic shots. And she didn't bat an eye when we wanted to bring our dog Donovan in for a few pictures. Those are by far some of our favorites! I would highly recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for an easy to work with, super talented photographer!

kathleen did my engagement photos last fall and I can't even describe how much I love them! She listened to our ideas and executed them beautifully as well as had a ton of great ideas of her own! We had a lot of great poses to pick from and they all captured the feeling I wanted, playful and romantic. We liked her work so much that we asked her to do our wedding as well. The photos were delivered to me very quickly and she was flexible with the scheduling & location of the shoot. Kathleen is an amazing photographer that has an advanced artistic eye for capturing life's most special events. She has photographed many precious moments in my life and was able to freeze time when it mattered most. My husband and I had a very small, non-traditional wedding and it was very important to me that our wedding photos reflect our personality and the feel of the event. Kathleen did an amazing job with the photos on all accounts. She managed to get beautiful shots during the ceremony and reception yet I never once felt like I have the camera in my face or like I'm tripping over the photographer (something I really appreciated considering that I'm pretty camera-shy). When it came time for the dreaded chaos of lining everyone up for the family photos, I was once again relieved. Kathleen politely but efficiently orchestrated every shot, asking people to step in, line up, etc. Everyone listened, smiled for the camera and now we have gorgeous family shots as well. Perhaps my favorite part was the photos she took of just me and my husband after the ceremony. I hate posing for the camera, and Kathleen totally worked with me on this one. She made me feel comfortable and the end result was beautiful, natural photos. She has a gift for capturing the beautiful moments of an event; I have recommended her services to friends and family and will definitely go back to her next time we have an occasion worthy of a professional photographer.

Amazing photographer!

She was absolutely the best! She kept me calm even when my timeline got off track. My mother loved her which was bonus points in my book! She took great pics at the reception but it never felt like she was taking my pictures. I just got all these great candid shots of the fun night we had!
