  Chef KK or bust!

  That headline is a bit tongue-in-cheek, as it were, but for real, Chef Katherine King and her team are fantastic. We were lucky to be able to book them for our Oct. 2019 wedding in Palm Springs, and Chef KK was nothing but a delight the whole way through the planning process -- and even more so on the day itself. She was extraordinarily gracious and patient with a total novice over here -- I had great support with my planner (Stacey Jones) and others, but ultimately the decisions have to be made by the couple ... and boy, did I have mush-brain by the time I had to finalize the menu! Chef KK deserves some kind of humanitarian award for walking me through that couple of weeks and helping me come up with what was, happily, a fantastic combination in the end. I was told by a number of guests how the food was really fantastic, and that was unsolicited -- they could have kept it vague or talked about other aspects of the event, but to a person they mentioned how they loved the menu and went for seconds! I can't imagine what it takes to work with so many details, and so many brides and spouses of all descriptions at events of this scale, but KK knows what's up. Do yourself a favor and let her make your day, too!

  Chef KK as we affectionately came to call her was the best in terms of food creativity, taste, and presentation. Our friends call us "foodies" so we knew that we would have to deliver some of the best tasting wedding food they have ever had. Chef KK delivered totally and we are still getting compliments on how good our wedding food was. She was able to work within our budget and stuck true to the price that was quoted with no haggling after the fact. We had some pretty awful tastings until we happened upon her website and she threw together a tasting for us at the very last minute and her last minute tasting was hands down way better then the tastings that other companies had prepared for...I would highly recommend her company for any type of event not only weddings

  We love Chef KK. We knew instantly after meeting her and tasting her creations that she was the caterer for us for our Palm Springs wedding. For us, great food was one of the most important aspects of our wedding and Chef KK went above and beyond our expectations. Our guests can't stop talking about how wonderful the food was for our wedding weekend. Chef KK is very versatile and everything she prepared for our wedding weekend was fabulous. From the taco bar and tres leche cupcakes (served in cute miniature mason jars) for our rehearsal dinner to a gourmet sit-down dinner of petite filet and chilean sea bass and roasted vegetables for our wedding reception and wonderful bite size desserts in lieu of a wedding cake and then late night gourmet pizzas. Everything was prepared perfectly! Chef KK puts her heart into her cooking and she is so very humble and a delight to work with. Her staff is amazing too! We had an outdoor wedding and it was a windy evening but Chef KK's staff was amazing and adapted instantly to the conditions and took care of everything and everyone was happy and had only compliments on how the staff handled the weather-related challenges. If excellent food, attention to detail and superb service are what you want for your next event, Chef KK should be your choice!

  Chef KK is amazing! Our wedding food was so delicious. We definitely did not want the typical chicken or fish with rice and so KK helped us decide on a great Mediterranean menu that was different but still something everyone would eat and within our budget. I think her meatball appetizers were the biggest hit! My dad and my husband could not stop talking about them or eating them. It's been almost a year since we got married and our friends and family still comment "You guys had the best food of any wedding I have ever been too."

  Our wedding was a blast, and a lot of that was due to not having to stress over catering. I was nervous because we didn't do a tasting, but it all worked out great. Every single member of the staff Chef KK brought was delightful, and the food was delicious and well presented. My guests loved the experience.

  Hail Chef KK! We had a "Mad Men" inspired wedding and Chef KK came up with a great early 1960's menu. After some research and discussion we ended up with: iceberg wedge salad, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, oven baked cornflake fried chicken, salmon and wild rice casserole and garlic green beans.
  
  Everyone commented on how great the food was and people went back several times for seconds. I think the same menu could have been a disaster with the wrong caterer--but Chef KK used the highest quality ingredients and spiced and cooked everything perfectly. The chicken was tender with just the right amount of seasoning, meatloaf moist and flavorful and the casserole had a lot of salmon in it--no scrimping or cutting corners. Even our most pretentious foodie friends were happy!
  
  I'd also like to point out that Chef KK's staff was excellent. They were friendly, professional and efficient.
  
  Chef KK is less of an email person and more of a phone person so I would recommend just calling her if you want a quicker response.
