Beautiful and delicious treats and cake
Katelin was so kind and even delivered a tasting box to our house to try her goods. She was flexible in terms of the flavors of the sweets she offered and helped to make our day special with a beautiful cake and dessert table. I wish I had gotten to eat more of it because it was delicious. (We did a lemon cake with vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries. YUM) -

We love Katelin's cakes and for that reason use her at our venue all the time but I also hired her for my own wedding cake 5/1 and was so thankful for all she did in the lead up to my event and on the day. Her cakes are gorgeous and they taste SO GOOD (which sometimes is not the case) She helped us come up with a custom cake design that matched our invitation suite and the overall feel of the event and we got to do a tasting to find just the right flavor. We had multiple guests comment on how good our wedding cake was. Can't wait to eat it again on our one year anniversary! -

Beautiful and Delicious!
Katelin does amazing work! I had an idea for the look of my wedding cake and she made my vision come to life perfectly. We worked with her to come up with a great assortment of other desserts for our desert bar and everything was incredible. She was very professional and responsive. She even helped me last minute with some extra desserts for our rehearsal dinner and we were able to rent cake stands from her which was very convenient. Our plans changed with COVID and she was very flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend her! -

5 Star - Best Cakes in Nashville
I have nothing but INCREDIBLY positive things to say about Katelin Hayes Desserts. First, her cakes are absolutely delicious. The range of flavors for the cake itself, fillings and frostings is fantastic - allowing you to mix and match so you get exactly what you want. The cake was perfectly moist. The frosting and fillers were delicious and not too sweet (meaning it wasnt just a sugar bomb and you actually could make out the flavors we picked). In terms of design - Katelin was able to take a handful of inspiration photos and turn it into exactly what I was looking for. She was very easy to work with and has a great creative mind. I look forward to using Katelin again for all my cake needs in the future. -

Katelin was amazing to work with! Her cake design matched exactly what we wanted, and the cake itself was AMAZING. We kept our top tier to eat on our anniversary but maybe snuck a few more bites before putting it in the freezer. We had one cake testing and planning meeting with Katelin, and the rest was so easy and executed perfectly. I would highly recommend Katelin to anyone looking for a beautiful and delicious wedding cake. -

Where do you begin when you talk about Katelin Hayes? Her amazing desserts, her expertise and design creativity, her patient and helpful attitude, her organization and professionalism, her attention to detail, her willingness to go above and beyond?! All of the above, and more!
I contacted Katelin (among other bakers) with a very specific design I wanted her to create for our wedding -- granted, it was an unusual request -- and we needed someone who was creative and willing to step outside the cake box, so to speak. With an American bride and British groom, we were looking to create what we called a “teacup tower cake” (which incorporated a tower of specially designed cupcakes, among actual teacups, along with a very specific cake on top), all as the centerpiece for a very specific dessert table. We knew what we wanted, but how to make it happen was another story.
After talking with a couple of bakers, who claimed to be capable, creative, excited about our project, and totally on board (yet ultimately tried to steer us in a totally different, simpler, nothing-we-had-asked-for direction), we fortunately found Katelin! She immediately listened, asked questions, and started to figure out how to make it happen. She has a confident, calming influence about her (a nice trait in the midst of a wedding).
By the time we were done, we had total confidence that Katelin would deliver exactly what we wanted... and she did! The dessert table was picturesque and perfect in every way, including the infamous teacup tower (which, btw, she had to have a custom cake stand/tower built to accommodate). Her pricing was very reasonable, she was incredibly easy to work with, and above all, she gave us exactly what we envisioned, even though it took extra effort on her part! Oh, and did I mention the desserts were all amazing, made from scratch, and got rave reviews from our guests!
p.s. when my fiancé and I went for our tasting, it was coincidentally his birthday and Katelin surprised him with a delicious birthday cupcake! Just had to mention that :)
As a side note: We were so impressed after our first conversation with Katelin that we asked if she had any recommendations for a florist, and she recommended the perfect person -- thanks, Katelin :) -

Most Beautiful Wedding Cakes
Very professional and amazing cake decorations skills to top that. Our cakes were beautiful and tasted delicious! She based the boat cake off of a picture of our personal boat! We look forward to using Katelin Hayes Desserts again for future celebrations! -

The Best (and Easiest) Vendor
I honestly don't remember how we found Katelin, but I am SO so so so glad we did. We wanted a small cake to cut and cookies and pies for our dessert spread, and we wanted it to stay affordable. Katelin came through with a cookies and cream Italian buttercream cake that my husband and I swooned over, as well as both of our favorite cookies, and an assortment of mini pies that brought together his Georgia past (pecan pie) and my Florida childhood (key lime pie). I'm a key lime pie snob. The biggest I know, probably because I had a key lime tree in my backyard growing up, so I expect the pie to be a balance between sweet and tart and creamy and she NAILED it. The only time I ever saw Katelin was during the tasting. She worked quickly and quietly in the background and my desserts magically appeared at the reception space without a hitch (and no wedding planner). She was perfect. I HIGHLY highly recommend her. -

We shopped around for a cake vendor, and Katelin was an obvious choice. She provided some of the best quality for the best price. We had so much fun at our tasting with her, and her cakes were delicious! We ordered two cakes-a three tier cake for our wedding reception and a golf ball groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner. Both were stunning and exactly what we wanted. To top it all off, Katelin was so easy to work with and very reliable. I highly recommend her for any dessert needs you might have! -

Absolutely amazing cake and very easy to work with. Did a trial with 4 cakes and wanted to try more before deciding and she made it very easy to do this. The cake was fantastic and very competitively priced compared to others we had quoted. -

Customized wedding and groom cake
Loved the quality and designs of both the wedding and grooms cakes, she carried out exactly what we were looking for - flavors were awesome and Kaitlin was so easy to work with. Never had to worry about this aspect of the wedding after our first meeting! -

Drool Worthy Desserts :)
Working with Katelin of Katelin Hayes Desserts was the easiest process of my whole wedding. I have a huge sweet tooth, so I was so excited to know that she offered variations of cookies, cake pops, pies, and cupcakes to go with our delicious wedding cake to give our guests more variety to choose from. And the flavors? DROOL WORTHY!!! She offers SO many flavors and you can design the perfect flavor for you and your lover. Everything from the colors, flavors, and designs of her desserts are completely custom and designed specifically for YOU. It was such an enjoyable process working with her, and all of our guests raved about the assortment of desserts we had and how delicious they were!! -

Amazing wedding cake!
We tried several different Nashville bakeries before we had a tasting with Katelin, and it was no contest! Her wedding cake was FANTASTIC, and our guests raved about it at and after our reception. We had different flavors for the different tiers, and I think my husband ate all three. Thanks for such a beautiful piece for our wedding, and such a yummy dessert for our guests. -

Great cake for a great price
Great flavors and great cake! I would definitely use her again. The only complaint I had was that the layer we cut in to for our first piece was too hard to cut all the way through so we had to cut another section but this may have been due to the venues storage. Overall great cake for a great price! -

She even traveled to Memphis to deliver my cake in the heat of the summer with no issues. I would highly recommend her to anyone! You will get not only a beautiful cake but one that tastes amazing as well. Plus she has a creative brain and will help you brainstorm the decoration to fit your style!
