Kate is the most perfect vendor I could have ever asked for. The painting that she is capable of making in a few hours is such a beautiful treasure that I can’t wait to have forever. Kate is super personable and loves to put so much detail into anything you could possibly want. She painted my brother’s wedding, my wedding, and is going to paint my cousin’s wedding next year. I could never recommend enough getting Kate as a live painter! -

Kate was, hands down, our favorite vendor throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was responsive, thoughtful, and so kind every step of the way. It truly felt like having a friend by my side. Our painting is nothing short of breathtaking and is beyond anything we could’ve imagined. Kate is unbelievably talented. She asked thoughtful questions, patiently listened as I shared my vision, and captured the moment so beautifully!! All of our guests LOVED watching her do her work throughout the night! If you’re thinking about hiring a live painter, stop thinking and just book her. She’s a dream to work with, and her work is something you’ll treasure forever. -

Kate is FANTASTIC!!! We absolutely love our wedding painting and will cherish it forever - reliving the memories of the day and the love we felt. Kate is unreal talented, the painting captures us and the day beautifully. Her attention to detail is unmatched. Our guests LOVED watching her finish the painting at our reception! They still talk about it to this day! Several of our guests asked us for her contact information immediately after our wedding for their own. Kate is also the kindest individual, professional, responsive, and takes away stress from a busy planning time. Couldn’t recommend her more. Best decision we made. Thank you, Kate!!! -

We were so lucky to have Kate Scrivner paint our wedding, and the piece she created of our first kiss is absolutely breathtaking. The level of detail she captured is incredible, and she somehow managed to bottle up the exact feeling of that moment in paint.
Beyond her talent, Kate is just such a kind, genuine person. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calm, warm presence to our day. She was so sweet to our guests, so professional, and truly felt like part of the celebration.

Live Painting
We had Kate at our wedding on 5/3/25. I talked to her on the phone 2 times before the wedding and texted her a couple of times up until the day of. She was so sweet and very professional with every talk I had with her, she was truly a delight to have. The entire night of the reception, watching her paint gave me so much joy and so much joy to our guests! They couldn’t believe at how good of a job she was doing and to see the finished product, it was amazing!!! I have our painting hanging in the living room of our home, and I love to be able to look over at it! It is so beautiful and always a conversation starter when people come over! Everyone always love it and we get so many compliments!!! I 100% recommend having Kate for your live wedding painter!!! -

Kate is an amazing painter and friend. She is so kind and professional. She always has a smile on her face. Her paintings are beautiful. She was one of the biggest hits at my wedding. She always had a crowd around her to watch her paint during the reception. So many of my guests have complemented her and her work to me. I was so happy to have Kate be apart of my wedding experience, and I’m left with a gorgeous memento of my favorite day! -

Wedding painting
Kate was one of my absolute favorite parts of my wedding. She was so kind and easy to communicate with. She was very responsive and made sure that all details were ironed out in advance. I knew after our final phone conversation before the wedding that she knew exactly what I wanted and she did not disappoint. My guests were in awe watching her slowly paint a picture perfect scene from our big day! We were able to take our painting home the night of our wedding and it immediately went on the wall in our bedroom. It brings me joy every single time I see it! The only mistake you can make when planning your wedding is not hiring Kate!! -

Need to have her!
Kate was amazing addition to have at our wedding. She was warm and caring, made sure to include all of the things I wanted. Like our little furbabies. Aaron and natasha we adotpted together. As well as his childhood cat, hunter. (Small suprise i added for my husband) she was so accommodating to our needs and wants. One of the main reasons I wanted a wedding painter was because my dad is no longer with us. She was able to include him in the painting as if he was with us. It means the world to beable to see my dad in that way. She's an absolute gem, worth every penny spent!!! Guests loved her and seeing the work she was doing. I still get compliments on the painted she did of us!! -

We were wild impressed with Kate from the beginning to the end! She was easy to work with prior to the wedding and captured our wedding day with so much detail. Our guests loved her and spent their time at the reception checking in on her progress and it made for a fun night for all! Her painting now hangs in the kitchen of our first home that we bought shortly after the wedding, and guests are always drawn right to it and ga-ga over how perfect and detail-oriented it is. We will cherish Kate's art for years to come! -

I can’t express enough gratitude for Kate, our amazing live wedding painter! She was the very first vendor we booked after I got engaged—it was the first thing I said to my husband when we started planning: “I want Kate to paint at our wedding!”
From the moment we met, Kate made us feel so special. Communication with her was effortless, and her warm personality added so much joy to the planning process. All of our guests were absolutely captivated by her talent and couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful her painting was.
The painting of our first kiss turned out even better than my wildest dreams—absolute perfection! I was speechless. Now I cry every time I see it. I can’t wait to hang it up and cherish it as a family heirloom.

Kate was PERFECT! My wife wanted nothing more than a live wedding painting on our special day- but understood it wasnt in the budget. At that time I knew it had to happen-so I searched through what felt like 100 artists and finally found Kate. I reached out, and after talking with her for 5 minutes I knew she was the right artist for us. Her down to earth personality made me feel so comfortable and you can tell that she has so much passion for what she does. I told her my situation and she made and mailed me a "stocking stuffer" for my wife for Christmas letting her know she would be painting our wedding. Her communication and effort to make everything perfect is unmatched, and she was so great to have at our wedding having to answer 1000 questions from our families. Can not thank her enough!

Just WOW!!!
Kate was absolutely the icing on the cake for my daughter’s wedding!! Truly a dream to have her there and piece of art she created is jaw dropping!! Guests have not quit talking about it. I booked Kate for our wedding day to surprise my fiancé and it was one of the best decisions I made! First off Kate was so wonderful to communicate with when I inquired with her. She responded so quickly and even set up a call with me to go over questions I had before booking. After seeing her amazing work and our first phone call I knew I had to hire her for our wedding. She is one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet and extremely talented! Having her set up at our ceremony and paint the backdrop as guests arrived was so magical and throughout the evening as she completed our painting our guests loved to watch her work and see the painting come to life. You will not regret hiring Kate for your wedding day! Our wedding painting is one of our most cherished memories and my husband was so surprised! The painting from our ceremony is so beautiful and she captures all the little details including our two dogs in it. You can tell Kate really loves what she does and is so thoughtful during the entire process. We were able to purchase our wedding painting as thank you cards from her after the wedding to send to our guests and it was such a special touch to share with everyone! Not only did our guests rave about the amazing experience of having her there painting during the wedding but she is now a friend to us! Thank you so much Kate for adding such a special element to our wedding day!

Surprise wedding present!
My husband loved the idea of a live wedding painter, but it was not something we had budgeted for. So, I decided to make this my wedding gift to him. Kate was incredible! I secretly coordinated with her so that she would be there during our first look photos to surprise him and our photographer was even able to capture his face when he discovered the surprise! She did a beautiful job on the painting and was even able to add our sweet cat into the portrait, even though he wasn’t present at the wedding! I couldn’t possibly recommend her enough! She was absolutely fantastic!!! -

She's worth the investment!
Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with! Not only was hiring a live wedding painter an awesome experience for us, but our guests were equally captivated by watching her paint during the ceremony and reception. The painting is now is one of our most cherished pieces from our wedding and the fact that we get to pass it down to our kids one day brings us so much joy!

Kate painted the most beautiful painting at my wedding. She is hands down the easiest person to work with, and her work is absolutely stunning. She is extremely professional and inviting to guests as they watched her paint throughout the night. I cannot say enough Amazing things about my experience with Kate. She took the time before our wedding to meet with us and get to know us, as well as our preferences for our live painting. By the time we met in person at the wedding, it felt like meeting an old friend

My husband was dead set on having Kate after he saw her magic at a friend's wedding. And I am SO glad he persisted! It is the best wedding gift, that captured such a special moment between us. She included all of the details from our Indian ceremony, right down to the intricate outfits! -

Before the wedding - Kate was so easy to communicate with, always prompt to respond, and gave us no doubt that she would be reliable. Day of the wedding - you can tell that Kate loves what she does, and she is just so good at it. Not only do we have a gorgeous painting that hangs in our living room and will be cherished for years to come, but our guests also left talking about how cool it was to see a live wedding painter create such beautiful art right in front of them. On top of it all, my husband and I got to do a super fun reveal of the painting at the end of the reception when Kate was done (we purposefully didn’t go near it the whole night so we could be surprised). She captured the emotion and the details of the day so perfectly in the painting - I look at it often and think that hiring Kate was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. -

Our Favorite Part of Our Wedding
everyone keeps asking us if we if we could do one thing all over again what is one thing we would have to have. Both of us immediately said hiring Kate to be our live painter. If pictures speak a thousand words then Kate’s painting of our big day speaks a million. The level of detail she included in such a short amount of time was astounding. She even included our pup who wasn’t able to be with us the day of!
Looking at the painting you think it’s a picture printed canvas it is THAT true to life. All our guests loved watching Kate work throughout the reception and she always had a group of people clustered around her watching the picture unfold. Kate has such a warm personality and that some guests even asked if she was from the in-law side of the family! Kate was truly our favorite part of our wedding and every time we see the painting on the wall we are brought back to the best day of our lives.

If you want a piece of your wedding day you will cherish forever you need to have Kate paint at your wedding! My all time favorite detail of my wedding day! She was so helpful when I contacted her with the details! She was so friendly! The day of my wedding I had small cousins as my flower girls they sat and watched Kate paint, she was interactive and so sweet! I can go on forever about what a great experience I had with her! You need her at your wedding!! -
