Kate Ryan & design went above & beyond my expectation. She was able to step in & assist when my 1st contractor canceled on my 37 days before the wedding. She was amazing & I am so grateful for her! -
User2080926 Sent on 03/29/2015I cannot imagine our wedding without Katie. She has the most amazing ideas I have ever seen! At the beginning of our wedding planning process, we didn't think flowers would be a big deal for us. Katie definitely changed our minds!!! Her work blew everybody away, including our guests. Everything was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations by FAR!!!!! Katie is so genuine, smart, and funny. You can't help becoming friends with her when everything is said and done. She made our wedding absolutely gorgeous and we can't thank her enough!!Kate Ryan Design's reply:

User2566986 Sent on 04/02/2016Kate Ryan and her assistant Krystal were fantastic. They were both very professional and able to execute beautiful floral and event space with very little detail. What I loved most about them was a.) they understood my style through researching my Pinterest board b.) used their own creative license and didn't ask too many detailed questions. I am sure that Kate Ryan tailors her style to the client, but I wasn't the kind of person who knew what kind of color of type of flower and how many in the bouquets, centerpieces etc. I just knew I liked certain colors or the way a bouquet looked. They did a great job on capturing what I was looking for without me having to make 1,000 decisions. Kudos, Kate. Kudos. -
User2942457 Sent on 01/08/2017If you have concrete ideas about the look you want for your wedding florals, make sure you are very specific about what you want the final product to look like, and then review with Katie (make sure this is passed on to her staff), and review again. Katie was good about working with us after we changed our initial vision after seeing a sample centerpiece that was not at all what we envisioned. She also had nice suggestions about linens and table mat additions.
The final result of our florals was very lovely, but not without a lot of worry and stress along the way.
In addition, my daughter's bridal bouquet was exquisite, but some of the greens starting falling out before we had even left the room to go to the church. When the wedding coordinator called Katie to come help secure the greens back into the bouquet, she was not available to help. A nice woman who was on premise at hotel to help set up the reception room was sent, but she told me "full disclosure, I am not a florist, so I will do my best". The greens did not stay put after her repair, and so part of what we paid for was not able to be used in the bouquet. I expected that Katie would have come to do the repair herself or send a member of team who was a florist to put the greens back in securely. In addition, she never followed up with an explanation, or at least. " so sorry this happened". -
Stephanie Sent on 01/25/2018We used Kate Ryan at the recommendation of our wedding planner, Regina Young at Meant2Be events. Although the centerpieces for the tables did turn out beautiful, there were two things that were absolutely unacceptable. The flowers hanging from the pews were UPSIDE down. So every picture of me walking down the aisle all you can see is green flower stems. We warned them ahead of time that the pews were oddly shaped, but we were reassured that it wouldn't be a problem. Then, the cakestand that was supposed to be covered with flowers was left exposed with the flowers around it but not covering it. We also ordered cranberries to be in the candles, but instead we were given red clear glass beads, which did not look at all like cranberries (and this was after we had already paid for the cranberries). On top of all of this, we were promised a partial refund once we complained about how the flowers turned out. However, after promising us the refund they went silent and we have heard nothing back. This is after spending over $15K on the flowers. I'm very disappointed in the service and although I hate writing negative reviews I feel that people should know what to expect before choosing Kate Ryan design.
