Hiring the right wedding photographer was incredibly important to me! After hours of research, I came across Kate Kennedy's profile, and after seeing some of her stunning work, we reached out to schedule a video call. During our call, she really took the time to get to know us and listen to all of our thoughts and questions. Her package includes an engagement shoot (which was AMAZING!), and we had such a fun time during the session. Kate makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera! We absolutely LOVED our engagement photos and knew she would do an amazing job capturing our wedding. Now, we have these beautiful photos to look back on forever. We just adore Kate! -

We love our photos!
My husband and I are so happy we hired Kate to photograph our wedding! Kate is professional, efficient and organized, which enabled us to spend as much time as possible enjoying our wedding with our family and friends. We could not be more happy with how our photos turned out. Kate captured the emotion and vibe of the day perfectly and it's been SO fun to go back through our photos and get to relive the best day of our lives over and over again. -

My wife and I absolutely loved working with Kate on our wedding date! She was very transparent early on with us, helped guide us through the entire process but also allowed the space and comfort to ask for specific pictures and shots that we wanted. The day of the wedding, we never felt overwhelmed and Kate was so supportive and kind to us the entire day. She was extremely professional and just made our day the best! -

Choosing Kate as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning! Our wedding was originally a 2020 wedding that had to be postponed to 2021 and Kate was flexible, kind, gracious, and understanding through the whole process. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Kate captured all the pictures we dreamed of! Our family members and friends all commented on how wonderful, professional, and talented Kate is. Once we got our gallery back, we could not stop obsessing over how beautiful the photos turned out. She captured moments of our wedding in gorgeous photos that we will be looking at for the rest of our lives. Kate is exceptional at what she does. There are no words to say how much my husband and I loved working with Kate. I initially found Kate’s photos on Pinterest, and they actually helped me find my venue! From the first time speaking with her, to our engagement shoot, to her flexibility, patience, and understanding during COVID, she was unbelievable. She also shot our legal wedding ceremony during COVID, never complaining or adding stress to our day. She has a way of making taking photos so fun, and she will be biggest hype woman. She knows exactly how to cue people and her end product is always perfection.
On the day of our wedding, she arrived right on time and brought a second photographer, Esme. They made our photo sessions so much fun, and we couldn’t be happier with our photos. Kate is truly talented and has turned from a vendor into a life-long friend.
I couldn’t recommend Kate enough, and we can’t wait to use her for all of our family photo shoots in the future. Thank you Kate! You’re the absolute best!! -

Kate and her second photographer Esme were absolute rockstars at our July 2021 wedding! My partner and I feel so lucky to have found such a talented photographer such as Kate. We are very particular about photography, and it took weeks poring through dozens of photographers in California looking for somebody who shoots with both film and digital. We loved how airy, modern and timeless Kate’s portfolio looked, and I especially appreciated how all of her subjects look effortless and beautiful. After interviewing quite a few photographers, we decided to go with Kate! And as an added bonus, she had also shot at our venue, Allied Arts Guild, in the past.
Even though we had never met Kate in person (we had spoken a few times on the phone), we felt extremely comfortable and relaxed as soon as we met her! She has a calming yet efficient energy about her, and I love how she took control to let everyone know where to stand, how to place their hands, etc. My partner and I are quite awkward when it comes to posing, but Kate jumped in to give us very clear instructions (where to place our fingers, how to tilt our heads) and made us feel beautiful in pictures! I think the posing instructions are key because on your wedding day, you are being inundated with so many things, it felt relaxing to have somebody who was making sure we looked picture perfect in every shot! I love how she also gave us so many compliments during the shooting process which boosted our confidence and made us feel like we were models.
We received our wedding photos back about 5 weeks after our wedding and when we opened the gallery, our jaws dropped to the ground!! Every single shot was absolutely stunning! From the detail shots, the groomsmen photos, the couples portraits to the first dance - everything looked cohesive, beautiful, modern and airy. Kate totally understood the vibe we were going for and she made that vision come to life in her photography! We even asked her to do some minor edits on a few photos and she happily listened to our changes and updated them in a timely matter.
I will forever cherish these photos for the rest of our lives and I would highly highly recommend Kate to anybody who is looking for a wedding or engagement photographer! We can’t thank you enough Kate for your beautiful work and making our wedding day so amazing!! -

When we started looking for a photographer we knew what “look” we were going for. I talked to a few different people on the phone. When I spoke with Kate I felt like I had known her for years. Her humor and sarcasm were exactly what I knew my then fiancé would need to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Kate immediately put us at ease upon our first meeting. Her talent is undeniable but more importantly her personality is that of someone you want to spend time with. What started as engagement pictures turned into wedding photos, maternity photos, and newborn photos. Kate is now part of our family. My husband thinks she is one of the funniest people he know, my mom and mother in law fell in love with her direct communication, professionals, and how organized she is. I love Kate because of her ability to capture the most important moments in my life. She brings out an honest and pure smile, not forced. She will be the person we choose to photograph all of our milestones. I can’t recommend her enough! -

Kate truly is THE BEST EVER! My husband and I have worked with Kate for both our wedding and engagement photos. She was so amazing to work with I would recommend her to everyone! The photos are absolutely amazing, she made us feel so comfortable, and was just so lovely and professional. She truly listens to what you are looking to achieve in your photos, and also comes prepared with great ideas and variations of poses. With photos that will last a lifetime, you want someone you can trust, and who will exceed your expectations; that is Kate.
