You have to go with Kate!!

Words don't even do Kate justice. She was meant for this job! Aside from her amazing talent, she is the perfect amount of friendly, fun, and assertive! She basically ran the show prior to the reception (in the best way). My guests LOVED her. Family and friends continue to say how she was the best photographer they've seen/worked with. We got our photos back today, only a week after the wedding, and they are perfect. I cannot imagine my wedding day without Kate. If you're thinking about working with her, let this be your sign to do it! I will be recommending her to everyone and anyone.

Kate was incredible to work with from our engagement shoot in December 2023 to our wedding in September 2024. We had so much fun during the engagement shoot, she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and went out of her way to help us get photos at our original engagement spot at Great Falls National Park. She did an incredible job of capturing the joy of our wedding day and our family and friends all raved about her as well. Kate is a must hire!

Kate was one of our favorite vendors for our wedding. Starting from our initial call to get to know one another and what she offers, Kate was friendly, personable and warm. We did our engagement photos with Kate about 9 months ahead of the wedding. She was able to make us feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera within minutes of starting our shoot. Images from the engagement photoshoot were ready and delivered less than a week after we took them - I couldn’t believe how quick of a turnaround we got. Fast forward to wedding day, Kate and her second shooter Carina were a great pair. They were able to cover all elements of our day - the details, the posed photos, the main events and the tiny moments in between. We loved that they were able to grab so many photos of our guests throughout the night. They must have captured at least 2-3 pictures of every person in attendance at the wedding. Our finished gallery of more than 1,000 images was ready less than a month later. We can’t recommend Kate highly enough - she is professional, adaptable, talented and happy to share her thoughts and expertise from years in the industry. Kate and her work are a great value and are sure to be one of your favorite wedding vendors.

Top Quality Photography in all aspects

As prospective partners know, photos are how we reflect and remember the most special days of our lives. While this was our first time working with Kate and her team, I can't imagine ever requesting another photographer for future events. When I say she and her team were outstanding, I feel compelled to expand on what that meant for us.

The cost was within our budget, and was well worth the quality we received. The scheduling and pre-wedding discussions were easily accommodated. The photos available to us caught every section of the wedding with a variety of moments to select from for our album. And finally, the album not only came in a short amount of time - it was presented with top quality materials and composition.

Kate - thank you for all your help before, during and after the wedding. The top thing we heard from all our friends and family was not only how good the photos came out, but also how discreet you and your colleague were throughout the wedding and reception. You captured every raw moment without forcing it, and the photos show this so well. We will fondly recall this special day thanks to your efforts.

Greatest Experience, Highly Recommend

My husband and I were nervous about finding a photographer who was budget friendly and also made us feel comfortable as we are not “photo” people. Kate was amazing from our first phone call. She made us laugh and was great at our engagement shot. On the big day, she kept everyone on schedule, got all the shots I requested and was flexible with a last minute ceremony site change due to rain. She was on the dance floor with her camera and I never once had to search for her to get an additional family or friend photo. Thank you kate for being amazing and help capture our big day :)

Perfect Photographer Experience

I would give Kate a 12/10 before seeing any photos and a 20/10 after seeing our sneak peak. Kate was so lovely to work with on our wedding day-she made us both feel so calm and at ease. talented, detail oriented photographer

Kate is an outstanding photographer and an outstanding human. She was so easy to work with and didn't miss a thing. We were so touched by all the details specific to our event that she remembered, and how she made sure that the things she captured through the night were a reflection of us, our friends, and our families. Through the entire process of planning and executing the event, we felt like she was truly excited for us and was invested in helping us make the event a success.

The day after the reception, my mom said "She was great to work with as a photographer, and I also wanted her to be my friend!", which I think really speaks to what a great experience it is to work with her.

Just amazing.

I can not stress enough how great Kate was. Her pictures were amazing, and her price was fantastic. She captured so many candid moments that I didn't know I wanted. In the words of one of my friends, "Kate brought a beautiful aura to the day." Every single person I sent the album to told me how much they appreciated Kate and how well she communicated with everyone. At one point during the reception I was feeling overwhelmed. Kate is the perfect photographer for any wedding for a few reasons. First, she is incredibly kind, calm, and personable. Second, the photos she takes are absolutely stunning. Best Decision We Made Was To Work With Kate

Kate is a phenomenal photographer. She was so easy to work with and was overly helpful with us having to move our wedding due to covid. The photos she took for our two engagement shoots are so amazing. And then on our wedding photos are SO amazing. She takes control and keeps things moving along while still being very sweet and respectful. We had so much fun with her and she truly captured some amazing moments and memories. It’s so awesome working with her because not only is her work exceptional but her personality makes it even more enjoyable. I really can’t say enough good things about her and would HIGHLY recommend her if you want the best photography experience at your event. I am so excited to work with her again at The next milestone in our life. Not to mention she is shooting a second wedding event for us next year. She is truly the best out there!!

Kate and her second shooter, Kyle, were PHENOMENAL to work with. They had everyone smiling, laughing and totally at ease. We had so much fun working with Kate and our entire wedding party has commented about how great they were.

We got our photos back yesterday — less than two weeks after the wedding and I can’t stop looking at them and texting gems to friends. Everyone has only the best things to say about the pictures and we could not be happier.

Photographs were the most important thing to me and Kate was the first vendor we hired for the wedding. One of the best decisions we made!

Kate is truly a blessing!

Working with Kate was truly a blessing. From our first phone call, to her making the drive to us for our engagement shoot to her and her second shooter Tommy on the day of. There isn’t a single thing that Kate didn't do wonderfully. She made everyone that she encountered at our wedding feel so comfortable and the photos she and Tommy took are above and beyond what we could have imagined. Above and beyond!

Kate was our wedding photographer, and we HIGHLY recommend her. She really is a fine art photographer--her talent is off-the-charts amazing.

First impressions: She was very responsive when we were trying to book, which was greatly appreciated when we were in the frantic early days of planning. We were already sold based on her portfolio, but she did a free engagement session for us as part of our booking. It was so reassuring to see her in action before the big day - we knew we were in good hands from the start!

On our wedding day, she and Maria (her co-photographer) really saved the day. We didn't have a wedding planner/coordinator, and Kate made sure we were all running on schedule. She was a PRO at herding people and making sure we got all of the photos we wanted--even with a bunch of small kids. And everyone loved her. She was cheerful and kind, but authoritative. Perfect balance.

And the photos. Oh, the photos. Multiple family members shed tears of joy looking at the beautiful photos of our wedding. Kate captured the venue, our family and friends, and all of the action perfectly in every type of lighting. She also somehow made my husband and I look like movie stars. No joke. I was absolutely blown away. Kate made our wedding look as romantic and elegant and special as it felt, and we are so grateful she was our photographer.

Kate is outstanding!

Kate and her assistants, Maria and Meghan, were a delight to work with, not only on our wedding day, but throughout the entire process. Kate is responsive, organized, and knowledgeable. She offers more flexibility with her photo packages than other photographers we talked with, allowing us to customize the amount of coverage we needed for the day. All our emails were quickly and thoroughly answered, often within minutes of sending them. Kate was thoughtful and considerate of our requests, and made an effort to learn about our family dynamics in advance, to avoid any uncomfortable situations. Her manner is down-to-earth, encouraging, and cheerful, and on our wedding day, she somehow managed to put our group of photo haters at ease. Last but not least, we LOVE our photos. She captured so many wonderful moments, both in our posed photographs and in candid shots from the reception. We received a few preview shots the Monday after our wedding, and today we received a link to an online gallery with all of our edited photos, 10 days after the event. The photos look great, and we’re excited to be able to share them with our friends and family so quickly after the wedding. We truly could not have had a better experience with Kate and her team.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am that my friend recommended Kate to us during our photographer search. From the moment we met I felt like we were old dear friends and I was immediately at ease. And that feeling remained throughout the entire process, from our engagement session to our wedding day. My admittedly camera shy now husband left our engagement session in picturesque Annapolis excited to have his photo taken again, a great feat on its own. And the photographs, OMG the photos. Hiring Kate as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Her passion for art and photography is apparent as she captures moments, as well as being able to visualize ideas and creativity. Most importantly is Kate’s ability to blend in with your family and friends, almost feeling like you’ve known her for years. Her bubbly personality and the ability to make photo shoots happen (I wanted a shot in the middle of Thames St. on a Saturday night during the boat lighting) . Without question, she logistically figures it out and was stopping traffic to get the perfect shot. Kate photographed our October backyard wedding on the Magothy River, and she was perfect. We agonized over choosing a photographer as our photographer would provide the one tangible reminder of our wedding day. We wanted sharp, clear pictures, which can be tricky on the water, and we looked through dozens of photographers' portfolios on WeddingWire, the Knot, Facebook, and through friends' recommendations. We found Kate on WeddingWire and loved the stories she told of couples' weddings through her photographs--from the creative shots of wedding details to wedding party portraits to memorable candids of everyone at the wedding. We felt confident in Kate's ability to tell the story of our wedding, and she did just that. From our initial interview on FaceTime to our engagement pictures on the Severn River to our wedding day photos, Kate was lovely. Kate came to my parents' house the week before the wedding to get acquainted with the wedding site and talk through our timeline. She is very organized, and she and her photography partner, Maria, are a great team. Having a second photographer was great as that enabled us to have preparation photos of both bride and groom and pictures of our ceremony from two angles. Additionally, we have an eight year old, and she was patient and fun with him (his response to looking through our online wedding album was "Will I ever get to see Kate again?"), and she was patient and diligent getting all of the shots we (and our families) requested. Our riverfront photographs are gorgeous, and we are so grateful to have found Kate as we will enjoy these images of our day always. Thank you, Kate!! To anyone agonizing over choosing the right photographer, go with Kate! She'll make you feel at ease in front of the camera and give you beautiful photographs.

I could not have asked for a better photographer! I planned my wedding out of town and did not have a chance to meet Kate until I arrived. However, I felt like I had known her forever the second we met. She helped me so much during the planning process to make sure it would all go well. She arrived early the morning of the wedding and instantly jumped right in with my group! Her loving and fun personality immediately put me at ease, and it was so easy to be photographed by her. She kept all of us on schedule the day of the wedding and knew exactly what pictures needed to be done and she assured us an on time arrival at both the chapel and the reception! All night she was capturing every little detail and group pictures, but yet I never really knew she was even there! I LOVE KATE. Hands down, I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

We had a very small wedding (15 people) on a sailboat. I knew that for any photographer, it would be difficult to fully mesh in given the intimate nature of the wedding. Kate blew me away though. Kate got to the venue early and immediately started snapping photos. From the start, she was warm to every single family member. On the boat, she fit right in as if she was part of the family.

She has impeccable timing and class when it came to getting everyone to pose for photos. She also has the most patience I have ever seen dealing with family members using their own devices to take photos. She seized every opportunity to take photos -- we got some amazing shots with the sunset, sailboats in the background, and the full harvest moon during our wedding!

We loved Kate so much. My husband and I woke up at 3am following the wedding because we couldn't sleep. All we could talk about was how grateful we were to have Kate there to capture our wedding.

Our photos were edited and ready to view very quickly, and she did a wonderful job on the album as well. I cannot recommend Kate enough. All of the pictures from our engagement session and wedding session came out fantastic. The only hard part is deciding which ones to print and hang up!

Dear Kate,

My husband and I had trepidation about hiring a photographer for our wedding. In spite of how beautiful carefully planned (and time-consuming) "pinteresting" pictures can turn out, we knew that we did not want to have that experience on our wedding day. We wanted moments captured, but we were hoping for minimal intrusion. I felt from our first conversation that you truly understood this.

When you arrived to meet up with us, you were bright, personable, professional and fun. You immediately put me at ease, offering just enough direction to make me look much better on film then I usually do without making anything awkward. We asked for a few pictures by the water with our wedding party right before the ceremony, and in about half an hour, you had taken a ton of gorgeous pictures in lots of really cool spots down by the water. You fearlessly lead the charge through a crowded Saturday afternoon by the Baltimore Inner Harbor, and we arrived at our wedding venue early and with much more than we had asked for.

You handled family pictures right after the ceremony with tremendous speed and kindness, even though it had to be just like herding cats. Then, you ran around the reception and I swear, I almost never spotted you, but I think you got pictures of every last person that showed up. If something fun, sweet, or silly was happening, you caught it. When I did catch a glimpse of you, you were SO nice to talk to and so easy to deal with.

We received our pictures with impossible speed, well ahead of when you said that they would be done. This has been invaluable in pleasing our families and friends who could not make it, and looking through the pictures was a joy. Planning a wedding was in many ways, a nightmare. Sure, the party itself was pretty great, but most aspects of getting the event together were stressful. Working with you was one of the only things that was not.

We were lucky enough to have Kate photograph our wedding in Annapolis; she provided us with an absolutely spectacular experience on the day and the pictures she promptly sent within days after the event were nothing short of stunning. I knew I loved Kate's work as I subscribed to her blog years ago. Working with Kate was so effortless. All the inconvenient things (when there are a million things that need to be done) like lists of photos needed, financials and timing were done through her website. The day of the wedding Kate and her assistant were very professional. They came early, even help me with a few odds and ends while I had my makeup done. During cocktail hour we had a tall order. We didn't want to take full hour for photos but had several photos we wanted taken. The formal photos could have been tough with my large immediate family and my husband's family but Kate got it done all while not making it feel rushed.
My husband isn't an easy picture taker. He tends to tense up and get tired of posing. During the wedding and reception we weren't even aware of Kate taking pictures. She was like a photo ninja. When we got our photo usb we were so elated, she captured so much we didn't even realize she was there for. Kate was able to capture the best formal and candid photos of us, friends and family. Through her work she truly captured our day. I am over the moon that I was able to book Kate for our special day.

Kate was nothing but amazing to work with! From day one she was there to answer my questions and offer great suggestions. Kate photographed our Baltimore waterfront wedding at Pier 5, and I do not think I can capture with words what a wonderful service she provided. The pictures are gorgeous, and she captured the moments in the true spirit of the event.

My husband and I wanted photographs in more of a documentary style, not too much posed, something that sort of chronicled the event in a real way, however it went. She did this beautifully. She got in the thick and captured every wonderful moment, but without being too obtrusive, or stopping anyone from enjoying the party.

Her quality of service is absolutely top-notch. The pictures are lovely, and honest. Her attention to detail and composition is spot-on and artistic.

She was also able to communicate with us, the client, in a way that did not add stress, but also covered al the bases. She was incredibly professional, seamlessly balancing an opinionated group of family members, reacting and adjusting where she needed to.

I cannot even put a value on this collection of poignant pictures. I would recommend her to anyone having an event they want captured beautifully.

I had my wedding at Newton White Mansion. Kate was my wedding photographer. the pictures were beautiful. She captured every emotion, laughter, and moment of my wedding in my wedding pictures. Kate was extremely responsive leading up to and through the wedding, and she made everything a breeze and picture perfect. This included expertise in areas that even exceeded photography, from pinning corsages, placement of people, and capturing some extremely artful moments that we now get to enjoy for a lifetime. Whether having the perfect statement to get the whole group to smile, or seeming to be invisible so that even some of the more honest moments would be captured, I could not have dreamed to have better pictures to capture this day.

Kate is an amazing photographer with a great personality. I was so impressed by her ability to coordinate photographs with my huge (and often, unruly) family. She answered questions professionally and kindly, and even traveled to a favorite place in Baltimore to take our wedding photos there. Her prices are extremely reasonable (charges by the hour - unusual for a wedding photographer!), and she recommended a fabulous videographer for us! I met Kate a little over a year ago, when she shot our engagement photos in Baltimore, Maryland. I was so impressed with not only the quality of the photos, but with her level of professionalism and easy-going (and fun!) personality that I knew I wanted her to shoot my wedding in New Jersey.

The week before our wedding, I was in crazy-bride mode, and after talking to Kate, I felt completely at-ease (at least in regards to our photographer!).
I was so impressed by the fact that Kate came up to NJ (from Maryland) a couple of days before our wedding, and visited our venues so that she could get a sense of the lighting and the shots she wanted to take. What a professional! This also meant that she was in town and right on time the day of our wedding. As a bride, I found it refreshing to work with a female photographer, especially as I was getting ready with all the ladies. She blended right in, and took some wonderful candid shots of us getting dressed.

I mentioned to Kate in a prior conversation that I loved the church that we were getting married in and she did an amazing job (along with her second photographer Aaron), shooting the church from all different angles, capturing some truly intricate details of the ceilings and architecture. I loved them all. At the reception, Kate also captured many details that are so wonderful to see in photos, because I definitely missed them at the wedding being a busy bride! She also went around to our family and friends and took photos of family members that we will be able to give to some of our guests as gifts because they turned out so great.

I wasn't keeping track of the time, and Kate never made me feel like I was "on the clock". She captured everything from me putting on my dress to us cutting our cake and dancing the night away and she never once pressured me about time.

Kate returned our photos to us before we even got back from our honeymoon and there are so great ones to choose from!

My husband and I had so much fun with Kate - she made both the engagement photo session and wedding day memorable.

I met Kate at my friends wedding a few years ago (she was the photographer). I loved her photos and her personality so much that I knew she was the photographer I wanted for my wedding. In fact, we coordinated with her schedule when booking the wedding date.

Leading up to the big day (and well even after) Kate was so easy to work with, very thorough, patient and always prompt in responding to an inquiry.

Kate is so energetic and positive and she truly captures great photos. She will do whatever it takes to get a good photo and at the same time can go completely unnoticed. Kate and her assistant captured all of the photos that we asked her to capture and did so in an extremely efficient yet patient manner so we were able to keep on track with the schedule. She also captured a ton of other fun photos throughout the ceremony/reception.

All of the guests loved her fun personality (we had so many comments particularly from the wedding party/those that interacted with her the most). Kate also posted our photos in a very short time frame which we appreciated. AND we loved every single photo that she captured. Kate is very talented and her prices are reasonable/competitive. We booked Kate after watching her shoot a friend's wedding and I'm so glad we did. She impressed us with her energy and enthusiasm. This girl never stops working! She will do whatever it takes to get a shot - at one point she was actually IN a large bush because she had to back up to fit our very large wedding party in a frame. With just her camera and hands sticking out of that shrub, we were all dying laughing but the shot turned out amazing! I think she's also part ninja because I never saw her during the ceremony and yet she captured every moment from several different angles. I love that I was able to focus on my vows and not a camera during the ceremony without sacrificing the beautiful pictures. And she took detailed notes so she'd remember to take pictures of every person and thing we asked without us having to stay on top of it. Both her formal shots and her candids are awesome. We had a very large and rowdy wedding party and she worked quickly and with good humor to take our pictures so we could get back to our guests.

I was looking at the pictures Kate took of the wedding today and I thought I look really happy...and really tall...and tall for me is outstanding!

Kate is an amazing photographer. She has a way of capturing your happy face. She doesn't make you sit still and take 400 of the same picture to get one good one she just gets it. Even the group shots were amazingly painless and show smiles that are real and not too posed.

And if you are a short girl who tells her you want to look tall, well then Kate will get on the ground and roll around and make you look perfectly tall. Or if you want overhead shots she'll be above things before you know it. Kate is willing to do what it takes to get the shots she wants and they are great shots. But she is also flexible enough to know that wedding things can happen...like a flower girl meltdown or a bridesmaid allergy emergency and she is professional enough to make those pictures work just as perfectly.

My favorite picture she took was supposed to be of only my side of the family and the groom. At the absolute last second one of the ring bearers decided to jump in front and crash the picture...from his little 5 year old face to the look on my Dad's 6'5" frame that moment is captured perfectly...it's the kind of perfection that can never be posed or recreated it can only be captured by a great photographer in the moment.

Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with. She has an amazing eye and talent for taking great pictures. She did a wonderful job of making us feel comfortable the entire time and throughout the process, we had a lot of fun. We couldn't be happier with our engagement pictures and wedding pictures.

We loved having Kate as our wedding photographer! From the first time I spoke with her, she helped put me at ease. I felt comfortable asking her many questions I had ready, and she helped put together a perfect custom package for us. On the wedding day she arrived early and you can tell she loves wedding photography, which put me at ease on my wedding day! My family loved her as well. She kept everything organized and got all the "necessary" family pictures we wanted taken care of quickly after the ceremony. Hiring Kate as our photographer was one of the best vendor choices I made in wedding planning!

Kate did an amazing job on our photos - both engagement and wedding day. She has an excellent artistic eye and captured some very creative and timeless moments which I have not seen the art of in other photographers. She's very discreet, yet doesn't miss a moment. When I share my albums with others, they get tears in their eyes and always comment on the fact that she absolutely captured the exact emotion of the moment.

Kate was amazing! She was so professional, organized, and made us feel at ease from start to finish. She was able to get wonderful shots while being invisible to us and our guests. The photos are gorgeous and incredibly creative. I am so happy we decided to go with her...the pictures are the best way to remember every moment of the day and Kate captured everything!

Kate is simply amazing. I knew from the moment I met her that she was the photographer for my wedding. I am so glad I chose her for the following reasons:

1. Her bubbly, fun personality was a HUGE asset during both the engagement photos and wedding photos to keep us smiling and relaxed. Even to this day, I can't help but smile when my bridesmaids say "cute city" or call my mom "momsie" thanks to Kate. She even got my groom to smile and he hates pictures!
2. She has an incredible eye for detail. Whether it's a beautiful background for a shot, or my ring bearer who took pictures with a camera upside down, she captures it all. She shoots in the moment rather than hundreds of staged pictures.
3. For her talent, you are getting an unbelievable deal.
4. She was a huge help during the planning process. Out of all the vendors, I was 100% comfortable knowing Kate was behind the camera. The peace of mind she brings is a huge benefit on such a crazy day.
5. She's great at rolling with it.
6. Her photos are amazing. Just to give you an idea, I narrowed down my favorite wedding photos to 500. Try putting those into an album!
7. My dad, who rarely notices details, told me after the wedding how impressed he was by her. She took charge on the wedding day and told us where to stand, what to do, etc., which is very necessary for family photos and when your mind is elsewhere on such a busy day.
8. Kate will do anything for your photo. She was jumping behind bushes, rolling on the ground, running, anything. I have NEVER heard of a photographer doing that before, but when you see why she does these things, you appreciate her even more.
9. She loves photography. You know she genuinely enjoys what she does and wants to be there. Her enthusiasm makes you that much more excited.
10. Kate is very professional and easy to work with.

I would (and do) recommend Kate to anyone and everyone who is planning a wedding, but she books up so fast they haven't been able to. At this point, I am just looking for opportunities to use her in the future just so I can see what else she will come up with!

Kate is a phenomenal photographer. Seriously, just meet her and you will understand.

Kate's photos look so brilliant. The quality of her work and the level of professionalism make her the best choice. She works to get the picture and you will get the best results for a lower cost. She truly goes above and beyond. If she had not been there, the groomsmen would not have been able to figure out how to put on their boutonnieres.

What can we say about Kate? She made our day absolutely PERFECT. We planned our wedding in Maryland from 2,000 miles away in Utah, and we wanted so much for everything to go off without a hitch when we arrived to be married. Kate was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, has a lovely personality and was a delight to work with on our wedding day.

The pictures themselves - ah were to begin?! They were more beautiful, more tender, more expressive and more real than we could ever have hoped for. Kate is a consummate artist, and a through and through professional. We weren't left wanting for anything - she even helped me with my boutonnière at the last minute!

Thank you Kate, for the perfect day, and for all you did for Gwen and I.

Kate was completely amazing. She was so excited and energetic about each aspect of my wedding. I tend to be very stiff in photo's but she helped me relaxed for all the portraits and also took some amazing candids. I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. I honestly can't rave enough about how much I loved everything she did!

Kate helped to make my wedding day incredible. She was able to direct people how to pose properly and took every possible picture I wanted and more. I really can not thank her enough for all her hard work on my wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend her as a photographer.

Kate was unbelievable!! She came to Jamaica to shoot our wedding and she was amazing!
I loved every picture. One of the greatest things about Kate is I didnt even notice her there taking pictures but somehow every picture was taken and all the moments were on film!!
I would highly recommend her to any of my friends & or family

Kate was magnificent! She exceeded every expectation I had about what my photography experience would be like. She's comfortable, hilarious, knowledgeable and creative. She captured every moment I could think of, and then some. It is impossible to put words to how incredible the quality of the photos are. Nothing can do them justice but to actually see them. The best compliment I can think of is that people are STILL talking about how fantastic she is... not just my family and friends, but other people that have seen the proofs online. I think Kate is something special. I can't thank her enough!

I can't say enough good things about Kate Pelura and her photography! She's an amazingly talented artist, and has an eye for the details. Her wedding photography is very candid and really captures the moment. She's not your typical wedding photographer who has people stand and pose stiffly in poor lighting. Kate actually scopes out the wedding venue before the big day to get a sense of the lighting and backgrounds. She does also have everyone pose in the traditional shots, but does it creatively. I am so impressed with her professionalism and demeanor as well. She was very unobtrusive and I could hardly notice she was there working. The photos turned out better than I could have imagined. She does all-digital photography in both color and black & white. Her price is fair, and she's so worth it!

Her pictures came out amazing!
She is also a very sweet person who had a calming presence.
She took great pictures and made us feel very comfortable.
