  Worth the wait!

  My husband and I chose Kate to be our wedding photographer based on her style and quality of work that we viewed. We began conversations with her in 07/21 and hired her to take our engagement and wedding photos. The engagement photos turned out great and were delivered to us promptly.
  We were married in 03/22. Kate was a joy to work with and extremely helpful on the big day.
  In 05/22, we had not received any photos (which was expected, as that was a short turnaround). I asked for a timeline on receiving a sneak peek. She got the sneak peek to us that same week, and we were pleased with the photos!
  Fast forward to now: we received our photos on 03/10/23, and they turned out beautiful! I was worried about the turnaround timeline but I’m so pleased with our outcome.

  We are OBSESSED with Kate and her work. We knew we didn't want super-posey, traditional wedding photos b/c we're not those people, and after looking through Kate's stunning portfolio and meeting her in person, we knew we had to work with her! We had a small, 16-person wedding and Kate was a seamless fit. By the end of the evening she was chatting with our guests (while still taking photos, of course) and giving everyone goodbye hugs. She made sure we got the shots we wanted and the shots we didn't even know we wanted. We love her photojournalistic style and the beautiful little moments she captured. If you get the opportunity, work with her! You will be so glad you did. Thank you so much, Kate!

  Kate was incredible to work with—I am terrible in front of a camera, but she managed to capture some really incredible moments that we will treasure forever. I wish I had an excuse to book her again!

  I could never adequately describe just how awesome Kate Anthony is at photography. Kate has such a unique and creative artistic style that is absolutely breathtaking. She is also so much fun to be around and she made us feel so comfortable. She's super cool, totally professional, and so incredibly talented. If I could do it over again, I would not change a single thing! Thank you, Kate for giving us such beautiful engagement pictures that we will cherish for years and years to come!

  I happened to find Kate on the internet, and viewed her site. I loved her eye for detail, and her journalism background, along with the photojournalism aspect of her shots. I worked for a large regional lifestyle magazine for 10 years, so I knew how important the photography was, and what I wanted in a photographer. Kate exceeded all of my expectations, and I am so incredibly thrilled with my photos! I would hire her again in a minute. She knew exactly what to do, and thought outside of the box.   Kate was great to work with. My wedding was small and I gave her very short notice that I needed her to take the photos. She made arrangements and we talked about the different shots I wanted. She goes above and beyond to capture your day just the way you want it. I have some of the best photos that I will cherish forever all because of Kate. If you need someone that is passionate about their work, takes amazing photos, and has a very good turn around time then this is your girl! Thank you so much Kate. I will defiantly save your card for future events.

  Kate Anthony provided creative and professional photos of my wedding on a beach in North Carolina. Her post-event editing skills were excellent as well. She gave us wedding disks with photos that captured the event, the scene, and people's personalities.

  Kate is very enjoyable to work with you. She was one of the most personable vendors I encountered when planning my wedding. She truly put the emphasis on my husband and I and captured some amazing moments. She told such an beautiful story through her pictures of our wedding day! I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

  Still no photos at nearly 6 months

  MAKE SURE THERE IS A DATE OF DELIVERY IN YOUR CONTRACT. SOMEONE ABOVE DIDN'T GET THEIR PHOTOS FOR A YEAR. Our wedding was 11/11/22. I messaged her two months after the wedding to get an update on photos. She stated 5 months at the absolute latest. My husband and I were very sad and disappointed after not receiving any updates and still no photos by the "latest" day which was already too long.
  
  I texted, emailed, and called her at exactly 5 months on April 11th. No response for over a week then we get an email saying she left her work phone at home and had a family emergency. We have been beyond patient. Only reaching out after 2-3 months and getting no updates after such a big day.
  
  She went on to say she had several galleries going out in ten days and couldn't say exactly when ours would be delivered. I'm not sure if it meant within 10 days or after. She can never give a direct answer it seems. 10 days later no photos, no updates. We are almost at 6 months now. My husband and I joke that couples are probably divorced or widowed by the time they get their photos.
  
  Other vendors have been asking to see photos since 1 month post wedding and they are in complete shock when I tell them we have not received them yet. If I could do it over I would definitely choose a different photographer. Many people told me that even 5 months was absolutely ridiculous. Here we are at nearly 6 months. Luckily we messaged her at 3 weeks and she sent over a sneak peak after we asked.
  
  Either she takes on too much at a time or her time management simply sucks. If it is taking a year to deliver photos she needs to outsource or stop accepting new clients until she gets caught up.
