From the moment we met with Kat, we knew we were in excellent hands. Aside from already loving her photography and editing style, it was her candor, honesty, and efficiency that really stood out to us. We were still in the early days of planning our wedding, but after telling her about what we had in mind (and specific things we did or didn't want to do), Kat had so many great suggestions and recommendations when it came to the schedule and sequence of events that we hadn't even thought about. From day one and leading up to the wedding, she helped us feel comfortable and confident, giving us one less thing to worry about.
On the day of the wedding, she and the team helped make our day an absolute success and we are SO glad that we had each of them in our corner. We tend to feel shy and occasionally awkward in front of the camera, but they made us feel comfortable and at ease. Kat directed us seamlessly, moving us from one spot to the next, positioning us, and allowing us to be ourselves and enjoy every moment without feeling self-conscious or inauthentic. Kat and her team were ALWAYS looking out for us and thinking of what was best for us throughout the entire wedding - whether it be for photos, for the experience, or simply just for ourselves, and we are so endlessly grateful. We had so much fun with her and the team and would pick them again 1000 times over.
Oh, and the photos turned out absolutely AMAZING. We (or maybe just me) didn't know photos of us could turn out this nice, but Kat Ma and her team can work wonders. The photos captured the essence and aesthetic of our wedding and what we were going for perfectly. We are so thankful for Kat Ma and the team for making this such a wonderful experience and being a part of our wedding fam. Looking back, we can't imagine doing it any other way and would absolutely love to have the opportunity to work with them again. Thank you!!! -

Kat made our wedding and engagement photos truly magical - inside and out.
First and foremost, Kat is like a conductor of an orchestra. With the orchestra being 100 people in a wedding.
She keeps everyone on task throughout the wedding day, keeping to a tight schedule. She directs family, friends, and more for each event during the day - from family photos to wedding party shots to getting ready and more.
Importantly, she listens to your preferences (we expressed a desire for landscape and candid shots), while inserting her own artistic direction. She brings humor and encouragement to every shoot, eliciting laughs and love from all involved. She knows which moments and spots and poses will look brilliant. Amazingly, we shot at multiple locations (Conservatory of Flowers, Palace of Fine Arts, City Hall, Lovers Lane), and she knew every nook in each place that would look magical - her familiarity and expertise with each spot was so helpful.
She also brings such empathy and kindness to her craft. We had a multicultural wedding (Pakistani + Chinese) and her understanding of different customs helped to capture those special moments. She can capture motion so well (during the first dance and groomsmen dances) as well as those still moments. The love we felt for each other exudes through each photograph, and thats all thanks to Kat.
Honestly, if you want great photos at your wedding, you will need a decisive and instructive photographer who can direct people quickly - Kat has mastered this while creating peak vibes and making everyone laugh. We would recommend Kat to anyone 100% -

The best! 11/10 recommend!
First heard about Kat Ma through my friends who worked with her + her team for their wedding. I was MOH for my friend and got to meet/work with Kat through out the day. I had a great experience and knew right away Kat would be the right fit for my big day as well, so we decided to book an engagement shoot. She was so easy to work with and everything felt so natural. She worked great with my young son too :)
Fast forward a few months later to our wedding, and Kat + her team exceeded all expectations. Not only did the photos turn out beautiful, but she is just awesome to work with. She just GETS THINGS DONE. Super efficient, clear and wastes no time - which is exactly what we wanted/needed during such a chaotic but beautiful day. She helped us capture so many amazing little moments without us feeling like we weren't present or not able to enjoy the day. She genuinely felt like a friend you could laugh and joke with, and that made us feel even more comfortable and at ease when taking photos. I HIGHLY recommend working with Kat Ma + her team. Kat and her team were exceptional from start to finish. They were so responsive to any questions that we had throughout the process. She helped compile the schedule with our coordinator to ensure we have plenty of time for pictures.
Kat was so easygoing and fun that we felt comfortable throughout the whole session. We were very shy and unsure how to pose in the beginning, but Kat guided us and gave us tips and tricks for poses which helped us feel confident the entire time. From the engagement photos to our small city hall ceremony in San Francisco to the actual wedding, we were at ease with her direction and her humor made the sessions fun. Our bridal party still talks about how energetic she was and how lighthearted the photoshoots were.
The photos came out beautifully and timely. Kat’s photography style and editing was exactly what envisioned for our dream wedding, which turned out perfect for us. They truly know how to capture every special moment we will never forget. We highly recommend Kat Ma Photography as a wedding photographer. -

I met Kat when I was a bridesmaid in a good friend's wedding that she shot. I loved her energy and her quick wit, so I decided to book her for our engagement shoot in April and were also (*very*) lucky to book her for our wedding in June as well. She was highly responsive through email and answered all my questions with a quickness, which I greatly appreciated. Her pricing is extremely fair as well.
For both engagement shoot and wedding, the venues we chose were.. harrowing to drive to, to say the least haha. But, she arrived earlier than schedule both times regardless.
Shooting with Kat is so fun. I love having my photo taken, so she really leaned into that and gave me a solid amount of solo time in front of the camera. She acted quickly and efficiently and told us exactly what to do or what to adjust and made the most of our allotted shooting time. During the wedding, she also made sure to remind me to take time for myself to use the bathroom, take a bite to eat, and to drink water.
The photos for both events came out beautifully, and my husband and I will cherish these for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Kat and will definitely be going back to her and her team for future shoots.

I was a bride that needed to do the extra research, saw friend's wedding albums and talked about the one thing that they wish they could change about their wedding. An alarming amount of them told me that if they could go back in time and had enough in the budget for a great photographer, it would have been the one thing that would have taken priority. I'm so glad to have found and ultimately chose Kat Ma and her team. I am beyond grateful that she not only knew timeline, but she knows how to get the shot quickly with helpful directions. Noticing every detail that would bother me later (i.e., girls having hair ties on their wrist) and having the photos that I wanted with everyone. She truly captured my day with such knowledge and experience. We were able to glide through the photoshoots (engagement and wedding day) as if we were models with her helpful guidance only making us look extra incredible in the photos. We wouldn't trust anyone else to capture our most special and important day. Thank you so much Kat Ma and the team for dealing with my silliness, family and fighting for my vision of having the ceremony where I dreamed. We are eternally grateful and now have the perfect visual to show everyone forever. -

Choosing Kat Ma for our wedding day was the best decision ever! Kat Ma and her team went above and beyond to ensure that every details of our special day were documented. We truly appreciated Kat Ma's wonderful combination of humor, care, directness, and efficiency. Her ability to guide us in posing and smiling was so helpful because we had no idea how to smile and pose. She made us feel very comfortable the entire day. What truly stood out was her sensitivity to our needs; she would check in when we felt overwhelmed by photos and allowed us to take breaks. Towards the end of the night, we were touched by her dedication in staying a bit later to ensure that she captured any other special moments we desired.
The candid shots, in particular were our favorites and they truly told the story if our wedding day! Looking through the photos, it’s like reliving the entire experience again. We couldn’t be happier with the results and the incredible fun, crazy, and loving memories they’ve given us.

Where to even start…you book your wedding photographers hoping for beautiful snaps of the day, and you get that & so much more from Kat and her team.
Kat was the first vendor we booked immediately after we paid our venue a deposit. Her work speaks for itself, but I still have to add that our wedding photographs are better than we could have ever expected or dreamed of.
Kat and her team are extremely efficient and organize in a way that I could just not describe. They ensure we kept to our timeline to the T. They managed to snap every tiny detail of the day – the end result is truly amazing photography that captures every emotion of the day beautifully. To top it off, she can crack the funniest jokes in a middle of a shoot and the next thing you know, she’s capturing the most natural shot.
Kat and her team really have given us the best memories and we are so grateful to both of them. I can’t recommend them enough and will finish by saying just book them! It’ll be the best decision you make. -

Absolutely Phenomenal - Kept my wedding from being a Complete disaster
Kat came Highly recommended by two of couples we know and had done a beautiful job for all of their shoots. I loved her eye for Art and not too much of a "bright blue tint" that is popular right now. She did flash photography and I basically got photos of me *without changing me* that make me look the most beautiful/sexiest I ever have.
Now here's the part that makes me ETERNALLY grateful that was Above and Beyond. Kat Ma is POSITIVITY, she is Chill which I wanted, but could not have anticipated how important it would be to have someone like this on the big day. This year has been so emotional for us (health, work, planner drama) and Kat was our ROCK. I UGLY/Frustrated cried SO much the day of my wedding because of my wedding planner (one of many examples, cancelled our two Main guest shuttles the morning of accidentally) and somehow Kat kept us grounded, positive, and was honestly just a blessing. My five bridesmaids were asking Kat where to go, who was needed for photos, what the schedule for the day was- she held it together for me. My gratitude for Kat's AMAZING talents, and ability to work through LITERALLY a dumpster fire, and keep us on track and produce Stunning photos cannot be understated. Highly suggest her for your wedding!! This team goes above and beyond to make your day the best for you. I can't imagine a single thing she could have done extra for us during our wedding -

Amazing in every way
I can’t recommend Kat Ma and her Team enough! We had the best experience as she worked with our busy schedules, was very responsive, and gave us absolutely beautiful pictures to remember our wedding day. Her humor and organization took the edge off the stressful morning and allowed us to really appreciate the day. To organizing a timeline prior to the wedding and keeping us on track on the day of, Kat allowed me to relax as I knew we were in great hands. Where do we even begin?! Kat and her team were the photographers at my best friend's wedding, and I was lucky enough to see how she and her team worked. I was a bridesmaid at the wedding, so I was in the thick of all of the action, watching Kat and her team effortlessly, professionally, and kindly run things. Seeing them in action, I told myself that if I ever got married, I would hire Kat in an instant.
That promise to myself became true a couple years later.
KatMa Photography was the FIRST thing my husband and I booked - before our date, before our venue, before my dress. We knew we wanted Kat, so we booked her first, got her availability, and found a venue that worked with her because that's how much we trusted her and wanted her as our photographer.
Before the wedding - Kat is a master, and the before wedding meetings were easy. She assured us that things would run smoothly, let us know what she needed from us, and got us super excited for our big day. We met over the phone as we live in a different country, and she was super flexible and accommodating to our time difference (8 hours).
During the wedding - find a better hype team, I dare you. Kat and Tam were honestly just part of our squad, they just happened to be holding cameras. They were so easy to get along with, everyone loved them and everyone trusted them and felt comfortable that photos weren't an extra task, but rather they were documenting the fun we were having in the lead up to the wedding. They also worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinators that it was just one big family party. Kat and Tam know their shots and are so efficient in getting the looks and images they want, and they help remind you to have fun in the process. During the ceremony, I honestly didn't even notice they were there, but they got AMAZING shots of everything.
After the wedding - THE PHOTOS ARE EPIC. They captured the genuine feeling of the day, nothing felt staged or fake, and we see the photos and remember how much fun we had. We still keep in contact with Kat as she is now part of the family (she has been since my friend’s wedding) and we can’t scream her and her team’s praises loud enough.
Stop searching and just book a meeting with Kat and hire her already! -

Kat and her team are amazing! Kat is very considerate, understanding & organized. Those qualities are something you need in a wedding vendor- well at least for me :) >
The initial phone call went so well- she asked all necessary questions she needed to know to plan for our wedding & our engagement shoot. I am no model, but she made sure to make me feel comfortable from telling me her recommendations on attire to directing us during the shoot. THOSE PICTURES CAME OUT FIREEEEE. She made me feel so preeetttyyyy. I blasted our engagement pictures in a 7 foot boards at our wedding. >
Our wedding had a lot of big changes along the way & Kat was so great at making me feel like I wasn’t a freaking nuisance emailing her each time about it. >
Before any shoot, she made sure to remind me via email a week before. Then slowly approaching the wedding, she would contact me a few times to confirm the schedule. I feel like she doesn’t sleep haha. She literally shoots weddings all weekend, manage her photographers & still delivers photos & does XYZ (I had some crazy request for the photos before the wedding) She literally goes above & beyond. >
I don’t want to say she’s a wedding planner because I don’t want future inquiries to expect that out of her, but her knowledge of the wedding world makes you feel like she literally helping you plan your wedding. She has great logical recommendations to your dilemmas. >
So her Team…
I fell in love with Kat because she was my per contact person & the person to initially shoot us, so I was nervous that we wouldn’t feel as comfortable with her photographers. (Kat had another wedding that day) But Let me tell you!! They’re amazing! They’re sweet, patient & know what they’re doing. (It’s like they did this before or something haha) They were great at directing my husband, the groomsmen, bridesmaids & myself on the wedding day. >
My sneak peaks came to us so fast! I wasn’t prepared- then our photos. I am in love. >

The Best Photographer
From the minute we reached out to Kat Ma for a consultation, we were in great hands. Kat Ma & Team is literally the best photographer you could have for your wedding and engagement shoot! Best wedding photography team!!
Let me put this out there first… Kat Ma and her team are hands down the BEST photography team you can ever work with!! My husband and I are extremely camera shy and very awkward (no joke lol) but we had such a great time!! We had Linda and Mark as our photographers and they sure knew how to help us capture the best moments of our big day! They were so professional, yet funny and cool. They made us feel a lot less nervous and so much more at ease. Kat, of course, is amazing at what she does! Although we didn’t get to meet, we feel like we have already met LOL. She was our main point of contact and made sure everything went smoothly. She (and her team) will always respond back to your emails/texts, so never fear about getting left hanging! Last but not least, we are looking forward to working with you again in the near future!!

Best Wedding Photographer!!
We met with several wedding photographers while planning but Kat Ma Photography came the most recommended. We met with her over the phone for a consultation and immediately connected! We knew from our first conversation that she would be easy to work with and make us feel comfortable. We saw the work that she had done and loved the light and bright photos she has. Her photos fit the aesthetics we were going for and these are pictures we will cherish for the rest of our lives. She reached out to us several times to consult on planning prior to our wedding day. She complied our schedule for us and ensured we'd have plenty of time for pictures with all of our friends and family. She even gives great planning pointers to help the day run smoothly. She suggested an outdoor venue for our bridal party pictures and it was absolutely beautiful and I had no idea that venue even existed. What I loved the most about working with her is that she made me feel so comfortable. I am awkward and shy but she was able to get me to pose in solos and with my husband without even realizing it. I never once felt out of place posing, it was all very natural and fun. She keeps things very lighthearted which helped me so much as I was so nervous the entire morning. She was able to gather all of our bridal party and keep us in line and on schedule. Throughout the night, she would give me bits of advice on how to keep my chin up to look good for the pictures. She was even very thoughtful to ask before she left, if there were anymore pictures that I wanted. It was a great experience working with her and now my husband and I have the most amazing wedding pictures! -

Captured our most important moments perfectly
We were so fortunate to come across Kat and her team during our photography search. She was very communicative and personable throughout the whole process; we felt at ease, especially on the wedding day.
She and her team are extremely organized (much appreciated on such a hectic day). She was able to direct our wedding party and family through all the necessary photos and help keep us to our timeline. We loved that she checked in with us during the wedding to see if there were additional moments we wanted captured (outside of what we had discussed).

Beyond Amazing!
Where do I even start? From the first call to my wedding day, Kat was so easygoing, fun, and professional. She had our backs through the whole process with her experience and expertise. She helped me with refining my timeline, helped calmed me during my meltdown on the wedding day, and even gave her best recommendations for our engagement shoot. I have nothing but positive praises and feedback for her. If you’re looking for a professional that makes you feel at-ease through it all, it is Kat and her team. My husband and I had a good idea of the atmosphere we wanted our photos to have, but we weren’t as knowledgeable as to where or how to achieve our vision. Kat was a plethora of information and helped make our dream come to life. Being a tad camera-shy, I was a bit nervous about posing for the engagement photos but that feeling immediately went away when we started. Kat guided us through it all and her humor made the session feel like a breeze. My husband and I knew we wanted to book Kat again for our wedding photos.
Leading up to the day, we had to make some last minute changes to the wedding schedule. It was already a stressful time due to the pandemic, but Kat was extremely understanding and accommodating. In the end, we were able to have a beautiful small wedding with our families, and it meant the world to us that Kat not only took amazing photos, but she also coordinated the schedule and made our families feel at home. When we woke up the next morning, the wedding photo previews were already in our inbox. Can you honestly find anyone more devoted?

Incredible wedding experience!
Kat came recommended by our videographer (who's a personal friend of mine and my wife), and once we checked out her website, we were sold! Our goal was to find a photographer who had experience shooting couples with varying skin tones, and it was clear that Kat had the photos to prove it.
Every step of the way, Kat and her team made us feel relaxed and confident. We had a blast taking unconventional engagement photos in the LA’s Arts District, following Kat’s lead as she drove us from spot to spot. And when it came to our wedding, Kat and her team knew exactly how to make our day feel special. From the dress-up photos in our room and the first look, to our couples photos before, during, and after the ceremony, we had a great time being the center of attention.
We also appreciated Kat’s idea to take family photos before the ceremony, allowing more time for me and my wife to get great golden hour photos during cocktail hour. Looking back at all the photos, it really felt like Kat’s team was *everywhere* in the best way possible! We’re so happy with the delivery time and how they all turned out!
Kat Ma and her team are worth every penny! We’d recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! -

KatMa Photography were amazing. Kat and Ryan were fantastic and easy people to work with. My wife and I hired them for our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and they definitely exceeded our expectations.
We came across KatMa Photography on Instagram. Their photos appeared a lot more natural and seemed to capture the moment -- which is what we were looking for in our pictures. A lot of photographers we looked at seemed too "dreamy." When I look back at the pictures now, I feel like I am reliving that moment. Prior to our engagement shoot and wedding, we had several phone meetings to discuss our preferences and what we were looking for with our pictures.
For our engagement shoot, we went to two locations. The weather was less than ideal, but making due with what we had, the pictures turned out great. My wife and I are not great at posing in front of the camera; however, Kat's energy made us feel comfortable and posing for the camera became easier to do.
For our wedding day, they spent nearly the whole day with us and the wedding party. Despite the wedding party being quite inebriated, they worked with us and got a lot of great shots on and off the script. They were good at keeping us in check regarding time and what shots we would and wouldn't be able to get.
Their pictures came quicker than anticipated, and they more than delivered. The website they make is easy to use, and you are able to extract photos individually or as a whole album to your platform of choice.
Overall, we highly recommend KatMa Photography. They made sure to capture exactly what we wanted. They were worth every single penny. If we were to every re-marry, they would be the first choice of photographers :). -

We cannot thank Kat Ma and team enough for the laughs, memories, how easy & comfortable they made us feel being in front of the camera, and for capturing the most important day of our lives.
I first met Kat when I was a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding. The team was fun, funny, easy going, and cool to work with. Towards the end of the night, I asked for her biz card and started lurking her IG page and told my then fiancé that we needed to hire her.
Kat is amazing, creative, hilarious, and truly one of a kind. Throughout the planning process, she was very responsive (compared to other vendors we’ve worked with), helpful, organized, detailed, and knows her shit. She put together our photo timeline based on the events discussed and finalized it a few weeks before the wedding - this was really helpful to us, our coordinator, and videographer.
Kat is thoughtful, caring, and hardworking. Kat and her team showed up on time, professionally dressed, and ready to go. Kat and her team went above and beyond to ensure that my husband and I were happy, hydrated, and having fun throughout the day.
Your wedding day really do go by so fast, so when Kat delivered our sneak peak the next morning, we were so happy and excited to relive the moment. And as promised, we got all of our photos within a month!
We are really lucky and grateful to have Kat and her team as our photographer. I highly encourage and recommend anyone who’s looking for a fun and professional team to work with to contact Kat! Trust, you won’t regret it.

After we got engaged, one of the first vendors we booked was Kat as our photographer. My husband and I knew quickly to pick Kat and her team after stalking some of their work from friends’ Instagram posts. We both loved the vibe and the style of editing— her work is amazing!
Kat is super quick to respond. I can literally close my emails and open it back up and I see a response! And after our first phone meeting, we learned her super laidback personality and even laughed our a**es off. Kat is super chill and approachable and at the same time attentive when listening to her clients needs and gives helpful advice. We were told that her team Linda and Mark were going to be our photographers and we were bummed at first but she reassured us that they are talented in their own ways and that she would still take part in the editing process and do our engagement shoot.
My husband and I were probably Kat’s most awkward & difficult couple lol but she made us feel comfortable during the engagement shoot and we didn’t expect to have so much fun! For our wedding day, Linda and Mark were so sweet and easy to work with. Linda even put me at ease when she saw that I was stressed on time at one point. You could tell they really focused on the important family photos, especially during the tea ceremony. They captured so many great moments of the guests and us, along with detail shots, even with all the chaos that was going on! And they worked so well with our videographers as well.
Overall we had so much fun getting our modeling on while enjoying every minute of our big day. We received our photos quickly and are so happy with the results. We can’t wait to see our included enlarged canvas print!

Kat and team were all and more than I hoped for.
1. Personality-She’s super funny, easygoing, and chill. This made it very easy for my husband and I, who are shy and introverted people, as she made us feel comfortable and told us what to do
2. Photos-They look amazing. I love that she has a variety of romantic photos and more dramatic photos. They captured moments beautifully and the emotions of the day.
3. Support-Kat and Tam took care of everything during the wedding day and the prep beforehand. I planned the wedding myself so I was overwhelmed with making a schedule. To my joy, during the first call with Kat, she put together the schedule! On the day of, any potential bridezilla moments were avoided because of their help. She directed everyone and when the assigned family member failed to be responsible for wrangling and calling out family photos, it didn’t matter because Kat did all of that herself!
4. Turnaround time-She has an incredible turnaround time. Engagement photos were done within 24hrs and got sneakpeak photos of highlights throughout the wedding day within 24hrs as well!! 😍 My friend who had gotten married a month prior didn’t even get her photos yet but I was able to post some photos the day after the wedding! I don’t know how they do it.
When researching photographers, I worried a lot as photos are the keepsakes of the special day. I am so glad we worked with Kat and Tam; they played a large role in making the wedding day perfect and beautiful photos to remember it by! -

Talented and bad ass
We're so glad we found Kat. We were referred to her by several different friends and when we saw her work on her website, we knew she was the one. Working with her was probably the easiest part of wedding planning. She was quick to reply to our emails and made time to have phone meetings to discuss ideas and recommendations. She is a very talented, experienced, and humble photographer. We told her we wanted to include our dogs in the wedding photos, and being a fellow dog fanatic herself, she was all ears. Her team is amazing to work with also. They had us and our bridal party laughing the whole day. Working with them was so much fun. The day of the wedding, she tried her best to make sure we were comfortable. She was not afraid to take charge or lend a hand if needed. Her talented work is indescribable. She captured moments I could only dream of. We are so in love with our photos and our experience working with her. Her photos are a joyous reminder of the fun and excitement we had on our wedding day and we could not thank her enough! -

In summary-- You will love Kat Ma and the team! We have zero regrets about our wedding photography; we have so many photographs we will always love and cherish (and we’ve only gotten our “sneak peek”)!!
The process and planning-- Kat Ma and the team were truly wonderful to work with. Kat is very responsive to emails and has found a perfect balance between being professional while still being approachable and friendly. The planning process was smooth and simple, beginning to end. Kat did the most amazing job of offering suggestions and opinions but also taking the time to listen to our thoughts and ideas.
As for the actual photography part-- My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of a camera. We like to be silly and a little bit weird! Kat embraced our personalities and encouraged us to be ourselves. For some shots, Kat told us exactly what to do- where to put our hands, smiling?, serious?, turn this way or that. For other shots, we acted as we normally would. Regardless of that, all the photographs looked perfectly natural and comfortable. We knew Kat (and Tam at the wedding) were going to be incredible photographers, but we were still amazed by how beautiful the photographs are. Kat is also extremely efficient and organized! She gets those giant family photos done like nobody’s business!! Bonus—we got over a hundred photographs from them the very next morning after our wedding!
Kat creates stunning photographs, and we would recommend Kat Ma photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. -

Amazing photographer!
I don’t even know where to begin with Kat. From the very first phone call I already knew we would get along- we talked as if we were friends for years! It was so organic that I automatically had no worries about how our e shoot and wedding day would turn out.
It’s obvious she’s done her fair share of events as she knew exactly what to expect and how to organized everything. She had no problem suggesting places for our e shoot and ultimately just had a fun time around the city.
Before our wedding day she helped set up our timeline which we used also for the videographer and my day of coordinator.
Day of went as planned. My husband and his groomsmen loved working with Tam(her #2 photographer). He too was so easy to get along with. I forgot to make a call list for family pictures after the ceremony and we only had 15mins to get the pictures done. She was a machine- so organized getting people in and out of the pictures even my family was amazed at how fast it went.
We have received our pictures in a timely manner and love them so much!! I can’t thank Kat and Tam enough for being so easy to work with. Miss you guys!! -

Marilyn Sent on 08/27/2018Working with Kat Ma and her team has been amazing. I can't believe her pricing is so reasonable because the quality of her work definitely matches and exceeds the work of people charging 3-4x what she charges.
A friend had been in a wedding that Kat shot in the past, and she said - "this photographer - she gets stuff done!." I'm all about being efficient, so I thought - I like her already! From our first video chat interview (before we chose her), it was clear that she would be our photographer. She had shot at our venue before and pointed out lighting issues to us and knew how to deal with it, and she already had ideas on what to do for our first look photos.
Engagement photos were great, and she got us the photos in less than 48 hours.
When it came to wedding day, she showed up on time and was so on point. She got so many great shots in, was good at making people laugh, and she definitely got things done. She did a lot of mother-daughter shots, which meant the world to my mom, and she did a first look with my bridesmaids, which I had never thought of before, and it was so much fun. She helped move furniture and poured champagne just to make sure we could get stuff done. In the end, we get to do the previously suggested first look shots, and it looked so good.
From the actual wedding, she captured everything, and most amazingly, she got us a sneak peek gallery in LESS THAN 12 HOURS after the wedding! People wait months for photos, and she already had some ready for us the next morning, which was amazing. I keep getting comments on how people love the photos already - she was artistic, creative, and great with lighting.
I'm so glad we went with Kat Ma - she has so much energy and is so great at what she does, and she really did get all the shots we wanted in a short amount of time. We loved working with her ! -

Very down to earth and was very accommodating to all our needs every step of the way. She was willing to work with us to create a package that suited our wants and budget. Our engagement shoot was included, which was a great plus! Awesome photos for our wedding website and a great way to meet her before the big day. My husband and I really got a good sense of her style and knew what to expect during our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, her and her team were so fun. Kat was great at giving direction, which is kinda needed to rally a big group. They also worked really well with our videographer, which was as a huge plus! They were respectful of each others space and really worked together tomake sure we got the most out of both.
