  Kat is a true professional! She showed up early, scoped out the venue, and got started right away.
  
  Since my husband and I eloped, she was really the only witness to our nuptials!
  
  Neither my husband nor I had been photographed before since we didn't get engagement photos, and Kat immediately made us feel at ease. My husband was amazed at how comfortable he felt, and so was I. We can't wait to see our photos!

  Great photographer!

  Kat bevel is fantastic. Her photographs were exactly what we were looking for and came out beautiful. She is incredibly nice and immediately made us feel comfortable, which is key to relaxed, natural photos. She had such great ideas but also took the time to listen to ours. I would highly recommend her to anyone who asks!

  Love her; love her work. So nice and great to work with. No matter what the weather or anything unexpected that arose, she made it all work seamlessly and effortlessly. (And was also great with the guys.)

  Kat is amazing! Great things do come in Small packages. Kat's energy and smile are infectious, and she is so sneaky you will never know she is there during your wedding. During our couple shots she was calm and made it so fun to relax and take our "love" story photos. He ability to bring so much to the photos before they are processed meant so much to us. What a stress free time! What made me want Kat as our photographer was her ability to show life through even the posed photos. We all know that at some point during the wedding you will have to stand in a line with all your family and take some pictures. It was her ability to make those posed photos still feel alive and see the personalities of those family members we love. Capturing human emotion while still finding the artists perspective was also why I fell in love with Kat's work. Her ability to see not just the brides emotions but capture the energy in the room, the field, between two bodies dancing is just amazing! Book Kat! She will make your wedding day stress free, you photos lasting memories, and both you and your loved one feel like your voice is heard and you love is captured!

  Hiring Kat was one of the BEST and EASIEST decisions that I made during my wedding planning process! As I started looking for a photographer, I fell in love with the photos in her online gallery- her style of photography was exactly what I was looking for. We met up with her in a local coffee shop to go over our options and were immediately impressed by her professionalism and her easy-going and energetic personality. We decided to have her shoot both our engagement session as well as our wedding, and I am SO glad we did. Her photos were just what we were hoping for, and spending this extra time together before the wedding allowed my husband and I to relax in front of the camera and be our natural selves on the day of our wedding. She is also just a very genuine and sweet person, and it was great to know that we would have her positive and calm energy around us as she captured our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Kat and her second shooter were absolutely amazing. They were there from the minute we started getting ready until we drove away at the end of the night, and they didn't miss a single thing. My wedding was fairly large (over 200 people) and my wedding party consisted of 11 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen, and 3 flower girls/boys under the age of two, so I was expecting that some things would naturally fall through the cracks... but somehow they were able to capture every beautiful moment perfectly. Kat has this ability to be in the exact right place at the exact right time without you being aware that she is there. She makes you and everyone around you feel beautiful and relaxed. When my husband and I were able to sit down and look through all the amazing photos she had taken we started to cry- each image brought back the happiness, love, and joy that we had felt on our special day. She didn't just capture the action, she captured the emotion and the story behind each moment. The photos are perfect, and we could not be more grateful to her.

  I'm a photographer. I shoot weddings. So imagine how important photography is to me. I'd had my wedding photographer picked before my husband proposed. When I found out the person I had planned on shooting my wedding was booked, I was heart-broken. I had back-ups in mind when the booked photographer pointed me towards Kat. I didn't even make it past her website's splash page when I decided I wanted her. The whole booking process was a breeze and Kat genuinely seemed to want to get to know us. We did an engagement session, which was amazing. Kat worked with us for so long, getting us bunch of shots in a variety of poses and settings. I'm so happy to have such wonderful photos with my husband not in our wedding clothes. Really: do. an. engagement. shoot. with. Kat. Needless to say, the wedding day and Kat and her second shooter's parts in it were perfect. I think I ended up contracting those poor souls for 12+ hrs on the day and not once did Kat and her second fail to get anything that happened. They covered everything the entire darn time. Shooting weddings is EXHAUSTING and she did it marvelously. Also, we had our ceremony in a church, which, for photographers, isn't always a favorite because of difficult lighting and restrictions on movement and shooting. The ceremony photos were still fantastic. My favorite probably had to be the photos from the super-long portrait session of just the two of us after the ceremony. But that's a hard thing to choose. It's like picking a favorite between any future children I may have. "I love all of you the same, my darlings." It was really great, though. We got to run around town, hang out, be silly and kiss while Kat and her second shot it all. It was all too incredible to feel like it was real. I can't recommend Kat Bevel Photography enough. Her work is truly amazing and she is a pleasure to work with. My husband and I are so thankful we ended up with her. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing.

  Kat is amazing to work with. You won't find a more fun photographer in the Austin area. My husband was so nervous going into our engagements and she really made him feel comfortable. She also provided an awesome second shooter for our wedding and we had so much fun with the two of them. I highly recommend her based on her enthusiasm and professionalism. She is incredibly talented and we are in love with her work.

  Kat was amazing. She has an eye for photography that is absolutely killer. Not only does she make two awkward people like me and my husband somehow look magazine quality, but she makes you feel so comfortable with her wonderful personality! On our wedding day, I feel like I didn't even see Kat until our portraits, and not because she wasn't there, but because she is not one of those photographers who inserts herself into your wedding. She wasn't invasive, but still got amazing shots, and then when we had our portraits (usually my least favorite part about wedding) we were having a blast doing different poses and making jokes with her. She's not only a wonderful photographer, but a wonderful person with great energy. I won't be surprised if in a couple of years she can and will be able to charge twice the price. She's that good.

  For us - picking out photographer was the most difficult part of the wedding planning process. After interviewing quiet a few photogs, we knew pretty quickly that Kat was right up our alley. She was professional, creative, and above all - we just clicked. She completely understood our style from the beginning and despite my very camera-shy ways, she managed to still capture beautiful images. I hope to use her services again in the future...maybe next time for baby pics. :) Thanks so much Kat - you are a gift!
