Wedding photographer!

When I reached out to Karla, she scheduled a 30 minute call, but we talked for hours! For me, it was love at first sight. She was understanding, personable, and hilarious. I felt like we were cut from the same cloth. My husband and I were a little nervous to take pictures, but she made us feel so calm and comfortable. She let us be ourselves, but told us where to look and how to move as needed. Our engagement pictures are stunning. Our wedding pictures are STUNNING! We had four little ones in our wedding and she had them laughing and smiling all through pictures. I could not recommend Karla enough!!

Wonderful person, beautiful photos

Karla was absolutely fantastic and just what we'd hoped for in a wedding photographer: low-key, funny, ready for everything, and someone we could trust to get the mix of formal and casual photos we wanted without stress. The photos are better than I'd imagined, and she somehow made our outdoor venue look even more gorgeous. We loved having her and would recommend her to anyone!

Amazing wedding photos and video!

Karla is an amazing and talented photographer! She was so helpful at the beginning of planning, listening to what I envisioned for my wedding and what I wanted captured for memories. She was so friendly and so sweet doing our photos at the wedding. She was very organized and I didn’t have to worry one bit during the wedding. She had great communication. The video turned out so good and so grateful to have that to cherish forever! The photos turned out exactly how I wanted!

Karla is the BEST

Karla is so amazing - not only do our photos look wonderful but she makes everyone feel so comfortable and is so kind. She made my wedding so FUN and easy going. We even had a last minute wedding venue change and she didn't even flinch LOL and made everything work. Seriously, could not recommend this amazing woman enough! Our whole guest list was so impressed with her and asking about her for weeks after.

Stunning photos!

Karla’s photographs are stunning! On my first run through of my wedding photos I marked over 250 “favorites”. I can’t believe how many of her shots evoke instant emotion, and do so every time I look at them. Truly, her work is incredible. Also, Karla’s personality is light and fun. She is a joy to be around. Amazing Photographer!

Karla has an amazing eye that is able to capture the right lighting and moments. I loved her willingness to show me some of the photos so I could get an idea of how they were looking. She was very friendly and easy to work with. She was also super responsive which I appreciated. The absolute best!

LOOK NOR FURTHER!!! Seriously Karla was such a dream to work with. First of all, she has such an amazing personality which made it so easy to work with her! She was so fast to respond to any question and was so patient with all my questions. Her photos where UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Such a romantic, beautiful simple style that I was looking for. Her candids and detail shots were out of this world. She captured the style of our wedding so perfectly. I know I’ll continue to look back on my photos time and time again and be able to recall my same feelings from our wedding day. Kind, talented photographer who captures meaningful moments!

Not only is Karla a skilled, experienced wedding photographer, she is a GEM of a person. She felt like a part of our family at the wedding! Her photos are so beautiful and have a authentic, natural look to them (I believe some photographers edit a little bit too much, but not Karla!). The turnaround on our wedding photos was within two weeks and we could not be happier with them! Karla has allowed us to relive the best day of our lives through the moments she captured.

Photographer of our dreams

I would 100% recommend Karla to anyone looking for a photographer. She is not only amazingly talented but so sweet and personable. I will never forget the first day we went to meet Karla for our engagement photo shoot. We were so nervous because neither of us had any experience being in front of a camera. We were both commenting on the way there how awkward we thought it was going to be. We were COMPLETELY WRONG. From the moment we met Karla at the car she made the experience AMAZING and we loved every minute of it. She was so much fun and honestly it was my favorite thing we did before the wedding. On the day of our wedding she exceeded our expectations and made sure our day went so smoothly. All of our guests commented how she must of got at least 1,000 shots because she was running around not missing a single moment. I look at our wedding photos every day and smile. I could never say thank you enough to Karla for being so amazing. If you are thinking of hiring Karla to be your photographer please do not hesitate, you will not regret it.

Karla was the first and easiest choice in our wedding planning. From the moment we got engaged, I said "Karla has to shoot our wedding". Karla captures human emotion and personalities unlike any photographer I've personally ever seen. Besides being an all around sweet & kind human, Karla is insanely talented when it comes to photography. She is like a stealth ninja during events - as the bride, I didn't even notice her during the ceremony or reception yet she somehow captured every single perfect expression & moment from not only my husband & I, but also our friends and family. You can just FEEL the emotion/personality from people when you look at a photo Karla has taken.
Karla has been nothing short of professional, prompt & puts her clients at ease. She came early to take some detail shots of my bridal items and made all my bridesmaids feel comfortable and relaxed during the entire day. What I personally love about the final product is that the photos aren't overly staged - while we did have "staged" family formals and a few bride/groom/wedding party photos, my favorite photos are the "in the moment" shots she captures of us. I would recommend Karla 1000x over!

I got goosebumps the very first time I saw Karla’s work. I knew from that moment that I wanted her to photograph our big day. Her style was exactly what I envisioned. Karla was the FIRST vendor we hired for our wedding--and truly the best decision we ever made. No matter what I write for this review, my words simply will not do justice for what Karla truly is and does. She is pure genius in her work. An unbelievable artist. And an incredible human being. From the very first meeting that my husband and I had with Karla almost a year in advance of our wedding, there was NO DOUBT we had found the perfect photographer. Her personality, her passion, her spirit and her beautiful portfolio immediately captured us instantly. As we grew to know Karla over the next year through engagement photos, multiple conversations and planning--we fell more in love with her. She has an incredible way of putting you at ease the second she starts snapping photos. On our wedding day, Karla was with us for almost 15 hours--and she never once slowed down. Even despite dealing with her own personal tragedy in her family only days before our wedding--Karla was an incredible professional, and kept in constant communication with us up to the big day. Her love and dedication to her craft (and to my husband and I!!) was unmatched, and we will never be able to thank her enough. She was as smiley and energetic at midnight as she was at 10am!! Everyone in our wedding party loved her. Our parents loved her. And we loved her. She had a way of capturing photographs and priceless moments during the wedding, and we never even saw her there! When she amazingly delivered our digital files to us only a couple weeks after the wedding (even with the holidays in there!)--we were stunned. The photographs were more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. And even with requests for edits here and there (a bridesmaid's eyes closed, a random hair out of place)--Karla corrected every one of those issues in minutes and made our final product gorgeous. Karla was a consummate professional, but felt like a close friend while shooting our wedding. She was prompt to reply on first contact, was careful to make sure we were on the same page before preparing a contract, and kept in touch with us throughout the process. She provided insight into scheduling and shooting without feeling intrusive, and took ideas we had for the vibe of the wedding and ran with it, gracing the pictures with her cool, journalistic style.

We wound up with the most rain our venue had ever experienced, and Karla led us and our bridal party skillfully through the rain and found ways to make the most of the diffuse lighting. Most of all, she kept spirits up as we realized we were not only going to be rained out, but rained out in impressive fashion. Thank you, Karla.

KARLA is the best wedding photographer ever! I met her in my friend's wedding. She was so bubbly and excited the whole time during pictures-taking, and this really helped my friends who are not so photogenic. And the pictures came out great and within 2 weeks! That happened in FL. My husband and I were planning our wedding in NYC. I really loved Karla's personality and excellent quality of photos, so I decided to contact her anyway despite the distance. You never know, right? You actually never knew! She was planning to be around NY area during our wedding. So without hesitation, we hired her instantly. It was very good to see her again, this time, in NYC. On our wedding day, the weather changed among sunny, cloudy, and rainy. But Karla took advantage of all the lighting conditions and created pictures coming out of a fairy tale! Within 2 weeks, we received both the access to her website for photos as well as digital copies, which included more than 500 photos. Not until after I talked to other friends, did I realize how fast this procedure was and how many photos we got. So I really want to give her extra kudos! Her price was also very reasonable. Highly recommend her! You will love her! <3

Working with Karla as my wedding photographer was an absolute pleasure. My mom and I fell in love with her work after finding her on our venue's preferred vendor list and I was so thrilled that she was free on our date. She was immediately responsive and I loved her warm and kind personality from the first time we talked. She was very flexible about designing a package to suit our needs (we live out of town so opted for rehearsal dinner coverage instead of engagement photos). Throughout the months leading up to the wedding Karla was great at keeping up with me and making sure that she had all the information she needed about our plans and the vibe we wanted from our photos. She took the extra time to scout out our venue and interface with other vendors in advance to make sure that she would be good to go on the big day. During the actual events, Karla was calm and so easy to work with and she fit in just like a member of our family. The second photographer who accompanied her was very nice and professional as well. When we saw our photos, we were speechless. They were seriously perfect and gorgeous and I couldn't have even imagined better photos to capture the memories. Karla was so fast at getting our gallery up and getting us the proofs of our albums too, it has been less than three months since the wedding and our album has already been submitted to the printer. I highly recommend Karla and plan to use her for all of my future photography needs, even if it means making her travel. Thank you Karla for everything!!!

Karla is the best all around! We attended the same high school and she is a long time friend of my maid of honor. I have gushed over her pictures for years and always hoped I would be able to have her as my wedding photographer. I couldn't be happier with our choice! She knows what she is doing and is awesome at giving direction to get beautiful shots... but also amazing at just letting moments happen and capturing those! This was very important to my fiancé and myself because we love those candid moments that happen.

We can't stop smiling when we look at our wedding photos! The photos are artful while also natural and uniquely us. Karla has such an eye for detail, which came through in each and every one of our photos.

I wrote a handful of reviews in the past week, but I keep pushing this one back because it will be the hardest to write. I don't think my words will ever do justice to Karla's work and personality. If you'll meet her and look at her pictures you'll know exactly what I mean. My husband and I simply fell in love with Karla during our first meeting. She is incredibly sweet, caring, funny, and at the same time very professional. She genuinely cares and tries to learn as much as possible about her subjects. My husband and I are very uncomfortable taking pictures and she somehow managed to make that outdoors (in 90F weather) photo shooting extremely comfortable and fun. We liked her work because her pictures are not staged, but rather have a candid, emotional feel to them. Not to mention the beautiful light she manages to capture in all her pictures. We could not be happier with our wedding shots. These are the best photographs we've ever had taken of ourselves. Karla knew how to capture the happiness on our faces! I got so many comments about how happy and radiant we both looked in our pictures. As far as the ceremony and reception went, Karla was almost 'invisible' and still managed to capture all the good moments without getting in anyone's face. She is extremely talented and is born to do this job. We are so happy to have found her! We traveled from NYC to South Florida for our wedding, but now we're thinking of going back when we will have kids so Karla can take our family portraits. If you're looking for pictures that capture the pure happiness and magic of your wedding day, look no further! Karla is the best!

Karla was an amazing photographer! She did our engagement photos and our wedding. I knew from the second my mother in law and I met with her for the first time that she was going to do an incredible job. Stop looking for other photographers now. You're wasting your time. Karla is the one you want, she is so amazing! I was worried about feeling awkward having someone taking pictures of us all day but she made the day so fun. Her pictures are so beyond amazing and I'm so happy that we have these great pictures of the best day to look at for years to come. I didn't even notice her taking pictures during the ceremony and she got all the great shots without anyone even seeing her. She always got back to me so quickly with any of my crazy nervous bride questions and on the wedding day when it was too windy to do a first look at the beach she suggested multiple other places that we could go to get some beautiful shots so that I didn't have to worry about it. She has multiple priced packages so that you can pick what you need rather than just have to pay one amount for everything that you might not need. My husband and I went with her most expensive package but I am so glad that we did! We had all the time we needed on the wedding day, engagement photos, and this one included a wedding album. We just got our album this morning and it is AMAZING! I can't stop looking through it! She captures all the best moments of the day and you really feel like you're there all over again. You will not regret booking her!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience working with Karla! From first working with her for our engagement photos, we had an immediate sense of comfort and excitement while being around her. Her demeanor is playful and fun, while always remaining professional. You can almost see her creative juices flowing when she is photographing you! Also very important, she was always quick to respond to any questions I had during the planning process. While it's hard to pick the best thing about Karla because there are so many, perhaps my favorite thing about her is that we immediately trusted her judgement and never once doubted how our wedding photographs may turn out. Karla is excellent at her job! More than that, she's just a cool and fun person. I found it very easy to talk to her and although it was difficult for me to put into words what I wanted, Karla captured our wedding with creativity and style and we absolutely love our pictures. I don't want to give away any surprises, but Karla keeps making you feel special long after your wedding day. I was on a tight budget so I only got digitals, but I bet she would have made an awesome album. Just a suggestion: follow her on instagram, she posts the coolest pictures and maybe you want to recreate one for your day.

You don’t expect to gain a friend when you hire a wedding photographer, but that’s exactly what happened with Karla! With our wedding being in Germany and us living in Pennsylvania, meeting with everyone involved in our big day was impossible. We were having a hard time finding a photographer that we meshed with until Karla. Even though we did not meet her in person until two days before the wedding, we felt a connection with her after the very first Skype session. She was so easy to communicate with and amazingly knowledgeable about her craft! There was never a doubt in our minds that our wedding pictures would be anything less than spectacular with Karla, and our expectations were exceeded in every way! Karla is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and is so excited about her work that it is infectious! It is next to impossible to select favorite photographs, as every single one is absolutely stunning! Our photos were natural and romantic rather than stiff and posed, and utterly perfect for us! Karla made sure to get to know our tastes and the feel of our wedding. She asked us what we wanted and did EVERYTHING that she could to make it happen. Karla was amazing to work with. She was very responsive and flexible by phone, text or in person. She really knows her profession which is super important. She really tried to get all the shots of the day that I had requested as time would allow. She kept on schedule as timing was a little tight. We also gave her the freedom of artistic expression to capture the day too. She is easy to trust given her past work. We did our engagement photos with here too which was a great introduction as to how she would be for the big day. She worked very well with the other vendors at the wedding as well. She has a new intern- Daniella who is also a sweetheart to work with and does great work as well. We feel that Karla's pricing and packages are pretty reasonable compared to the rest of the photographer vendors in the industry. I would choose her again and again for future events (maternity, boudoir and family, etc).

Karla is such an artist! She captured our wedding day beautifully from start to finish and had a great eye for detail. Looking at our album now we feel like our wedding day was straight out of a magazine and our fondest memories were not only captured by the photographs, but made taking them. One of the best qualities about her was her willingness to listen to us as clients. We hired Karla Korn as both our engagement and wedding photographer and both times she did a beautiful job. Her photography was just our style but she also got us as a couple and captured photos better then we even expected. Her candid style with a soft natural glow to each photo makes you feel that you are in the moment each time you look at them. I have amazing wedding pictures because of Karla! She captured unique moments throughout the day and tailored the pictures to mine and my husbands style. We didn't want just posed pictures and she did a great job getting a variety of type of pictures. She also did a great job with the large family involved in our wedding. She had them moving in and out so fast I didn't miss a beat at the wedding. She found beautiful locations at the site of wedding (outdoor wedding) and I could not be any happier with these photos!

Even before I hired Karla, I knew I was going to be happy with the end result, and yet she still surpassed my expectations.
Being one of the most important days of my life, my wedding day, I knew that it was incredibly important to find a photographer that not only could capture the day, but would also share my vision of how I wanted the day depicted (I'm not a big fan of the unnatural, very-posed look). And on top of that, I had a budget to keep in mind. I knew that it wouldn't be easy to find someone who would fit that bill, and though I knew friends who had used Karla as their photographer, looking at their photos I honestly didn't think that I could afford her. Much to my surprise, her prices were more than fair, and so my decision was made.
The day of, I was very pleased in the way that she made us all feel at ease and would direct us (my husband and I are not really picture people) making sure that there was an abundance of photos to choose from, and they were all flattering. She also made sure to keep in mind nearly all of the photo styles that I had mentioned and pinned on Pinterest.
We were so impressed with the outcome, I would be more than happy to recommend Karla to anyone looking for a true photographer. I can't thank her enough for helping us to preserve one of the happiest days of our lives in gorgeous photos that I just can't stop looking at.

Seriously, just hire Karla!!! Nobody else in the Palm Beaches or Miami area even compares! She is so sweet, talented, easy to work with and everyone at your wedding will love her! At first we just booked her for our wedding, but wound up doing and engagement, and a I did boudoir shoot as well because she is so amazing. Her work is so beautiful! I could not have dreamed of a better photographer. Working with Karla was a blast! I had attended a wedding that she was working, and then recruited her for my wedding that following September. My first impression was she had a great personality and work ethic, and to top that off she took some really great photos too! She was awesome about meeting us at the venue to go over the big day, even though she lives in Florida and we were in PA! :) Also, her excitement for our wedding and venue was infectious. Having my wedding in PA and living in San Francisco, I had to find most of my vendors without ever meeting them. I found Karla through The Knot and I am so glad that she was available! Karla was a wonderful photographer for our wedding. When we first met, she had me come up with a plan of all of the family shots i wanted in the church. I thought this was great and it made everything go smoothly the day of. She captured all of the traditional photos I wanted that day with a great mix of special candid photos. She had so many creative poses and shots with the bridal party and has an amazing ability to really capture the light of the scenery and the light in everyone's faces/smiles! I also had my engagement photos done with Karla and those were wonderful as well. She was so receptive and prompty answered all of my emails and phone calls. She personalized and made our wedding album PERFECT. I must have edited my album twenty times before the final order, and she always listened and changed what I wanted to make me the perfect album. She is friendly, personable, and a great photographer. She is affordable and really listens to the bride's needs and requests. As someone who works in the arts, I was very picky about choosing my wedding photographer. I searched high and low until a friend recommended Karla. Her work is exquisite! She takes a photojournalisitic approach which results in beautiful work that looks candid and naturally captured, not stuffy or forced. Karla not only does amazing work, but is a joy to have around on your big day. She is so nice and makes you feel so comfortable. The pictures that she took just blew me away. She is truly talented. I would recommend her to everyone! She is one of the best. She made my wedding day even more special by being so sweet yet professional. Capturing all those little moments that might drift off after a few years and still getting the overall. I loved Karla. As a person she is so easy to work with and as a photographer she is just wonderful. Karla Korn gives you memories not just pictures.

I have known Karla for many years now. She brings something very special to her photography. It has been her passion since I can remember and it certainly shows through her photographs. I would recommend Karla to ANYONE that wants an awesome photographer. Not only is she a great person, but she made my wedding day the best that it could have been. I never wondered "where is the photographer?" She was everywhere! I never had to worry that she wasn't getting the important photographs. I asked Karla to be our wedding photographer after seeing the beautiful photos she took at a couple other weddings. Having Karla with us on our wedding day was like having an awesome friend taking our photos. Our families loved her and continue to compliment our great photographer! Karla is full of good ideas and is very skilled at capturing the most beautiful moments. Our wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous! She is a very friendly and talented person, and we highly recommend her.

Karla did our engagement photos and our wedding. I was so impressed by our engagement photos! I am NOT photogenic and was nervous about them being good...Karla was able to tell us exactly where to stand and walk and how to turn so that the photos were flattering--and her knowledge of lighting is out of this world! Everyone at my wedding was impressed with the fact that Karla was EVERYWHERE--she captured so many moments at the ceremony and reception that I didn't even know were occurring.

One more awesome thing--for the engagement shoot, the beach I wanted to go to closed early and I didn't know what to do. Karla found another location that she thought would work, and she made it happen. It turned out to be an even better location than I had chosen originally! She was SO flexible about it and good-natured!

Karla is a down-to-earth chick who will text you or email you or call you, whatever means you feel most comfortable with, and ALWAYS in a timely manner. She is fun and kind and a pleasure to work with. HIGHLY recommended!

Karla was a great photographer! She showed up early, got shots of me getting my hair done, then went to take photos of the groom, and met us all back at our ceremony/ reception site. She tried her best to stay out of the main view of everyone, and her photos turned out great, even on a rainy/cloudy day. She got the photos edited in far less time than she said she would have them done. We had the option of getting the shots on a disc or downloading them ourselves online using a credit she provided. The only downfall is the site that she hosts the photos on can be difficult to understand when downloading the digital prints. She was very responsive, and always e-mailed me back quickly.

Karla was extremely flexible about working within our budget and it was surprisingly easy to reach a great price for the amout of time/photos that we wanted. I had a huge bridal party full of small children and she somehow managed to get great shots of them all. I also discussed with Karla how important it was for me that any photos taken during thr ceremony not interupt the ceremony at all and she did a great job with this. Overall I was very happy with our photos and would definitely recommend Karla to friends in the future.

Worst wedding photographer ever

WORST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER EVER. No pictures of the bride with her mother while getting ready and putting on her dress. We were at a 5-star venue and the only areas she used were in the corner of the bridal suite and inside the reception hall. Two photographers at eight hours each managed to get photos that our guests took with the cellphones - - and they turned out better. Feel free to contact me for more thorough information, such as having her on video dancing on the dance floor while she was supposed to be taking photos of the reception, as well as photos of her playing around in the photo booth when she was supposed to be taking photos of the wedding. And I'll show you the pathetic pictures we received. We had to hire and pay for another photographer and re-create the day in order to have decent photos of our daughter's wedding. Same thing with the engagement photos. I should have followed my gut feeling with this woman and went with someone else. Save yourself the heartbreak that my family is going through right now and DO NOT USE THIS WOMAN.
