We had our perfect wedding ceremony with Best Bridal Hawaii. Our wedding planner was Kapiolani Masusako and she was amazing! She always responded so quickly with any questions I had and reached out to me to coordinate everything for our ceremony. Our wedding wasn't stressful in the least because she made sure everything was set up just perfect. Best bridal is very professional and the venue they have available is just beautiful. My husband and I kept saying that our wedding was just "magical" and wish we could relive it again and again! I would HIGHLY recommend Kapiolani and Best Bridal to anyone!

We used Best Bridal as our planner for our Destination wedding in September. In the beginning of our planning, we found it so overwhelming all the options for our day and how we could possibly make the day what we wanted to from the UK - that was until we came across Stevie at Best Bridal. She took all the stress away from us and instead made the whole experience the enjoyable one it was supposed to be. She was so accommodating of everything we wanted to do and helped us organise everything and made our day so special! She is professional but bubbly and friendly at the same time, very responsive to email and makes the day flow so wonderfully. I wouldn't for a second hesitate in recommending Best Bridal to anyone looking for a planner. If you are after a minister, make sure you use Rev Kimo Taylor who is used by Best Bridal - super relaxed and makes you feel so at ease when you turn up to the church in a bundle of nerves. We had our ceremony at Waioli Chapel and it is beyond gorgeous. It is about 15 minutes out of Waikiki and by all accounts not the most popular spot for ceremonies however it is breathtaking up there. We found it nice to get out of Waikiki and have something a little more laid back and intimate. We organised mini-bus taxis to get our guests up there and it wasnt that expensive.

After searched dozens of chapels at Hawaii,we decided to have our wedding ceremony at the Crystal Chapel.
They are very flexible and on top of everything we requested.
Our ceremony planner, Kapiolani Masusako, was the best planner.
All our questions and concerns were answered with quick response.
When we have special requests, Kapiolani will try to solve it for us.
She is super friendly and sweet and it was really a pleasant to work with her.
We highly recommend Best Bridal Hawaii and especially our planner, Kapiolani.
It is one of our best experience during our wedding!

There are not enough good things I can say about Kapiolani and the team at Karissma by Best Bridal. My partner and myself live in Australia and so could only really communicate via email to organise our wedding. Kapiolani took care of everything and answered any silly little questions I had asap. The pricing of their packages was fantastic and when the day finally came, the venue was magnificent (we were married in the Ocean Chapel Gazebo). I have to say the day turned out even more magical than I could have imagined and without any stress!!! Couldn't of done it without them. They really went that extra mile to make the preparations and the day wonderful.

We were married in the Ocean Crystal Chapel which is the most beautiful chapel I have ever seen! Jamie was our wedding planner and she was AMAZING! She was so accommodating and fun to work with and she scheduled pretty much everything we wanted for our ceremony. Having her help with everything took so much stress off of me. I highly recommend the beautiful venue and wedding planner.

I want to share my pleasure in working with Ms. Jaimie Sakata of Best Bridal Hawaii, Inc. in Honolulu.

In June, 2011 our daughter and son-in-law were married at Ocean Crystal Chapel on the grounds of Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa. Ms. Sakata completely understands all aspects of being a wedding co-ordinator, and makes the entire process of planning a destination wedding stress-free. Need to rent tuxes, have the wedding dress altered/pressed, find an amazing wedding cake? Jamie is your go-to-gal for a perfect wedding. Not only is she intelligent, charming and an amazing listener…she hones into what the bride wants (take a back seat, Mom) and makes it happen. Jamie went above and beyond the call of wedding co-ordinator – she became a friend. I strongly recommend Ms. Sakata to plan your dream wedding!

Kapiolani was an amazing wedding planner!! She always responded to my emails quickly with detailed replies, answering all of our questions with a helpfulness and enthusiasm that we really appreciated. I barely had to do any planning at all because she had everything under control!! She asked us the questions that needed to be asked to make sure our wedding was exactly what we envisioned, and was so flexible and accommodating with any special requests we had. My husband and I had the perfect wedding on the beach at sunset in a gorgeous location that couldn't be beat. This was definitely our dream wedding, and we are so grateful to Best Bridal Hawaii - Kapiolani in particular - for making it the best day of our lives!!

We had an amazing experience with Karisma by Best Bridal! Kapiolani Masusako was extremely helpful! She answered every question we sent her (we typically communicated through email), no matter how long the answer would have to be. She answered each email we sent within 24 hours. Once we were in Hawaii she was friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome, and did a wonderful job ensuring everything was perfect and that we were prepared for our special day! Having a destination wedding was a little scary at first because you have to place complete faith in your wedding planner and hope for the best.
But the venue at the Hilton Hawaiian Village was AMAZING!!! The chapel was gorgeous! The minister we had was Keawe and he was incredible.
My wedding planner Kapiolani was the best! I ordered flowers through her for my bouquet and leis for the women and ti leaf leis for the men and they were even better than the pictures. Any time I had a question it was answered immediately through email or phone... and the sound system playing our wedding songs sounded awesome.
After the ceremony they ring the bells of the chapel as you walk out with your new husband... it was a dream come true and the venue again was amazing!!!!
Do not go anywhere else for your destination wedding in Hawaii all your dreams for a gorgeous wedding will come true with Best Bridal Hawaii!

After visiting every wedding venue that we could find on the island we chose the Ocean Crystal Chapel for my daughter's wedding. The sound system was excellent and Stevie was easy to work with and very responsive. The Chapel itself is absolutely beautiful! With the huge floor to ceiling windows we had the luxury of an indoor air conditioned wedding with no worries about rain, but the feeling of being outside in the tropical landscaping. The resulting photos are spectacular! I would highly recommend this venue for anyone interested in having a truly elegant wedding on the island of oahu.

The Ocean Crystal Wedding Chapel and our wedding coordinator Jaimie Sakata made our wedding an easy and beautiful event. We thought it was going to be difficult planning our ceremony because we do not live in Hawaii but Jamie made it easy. She responded quickly after every email and eased our mind with every concern. Having a destination wedding can be amazing and scary at the same time. You're so excited to take a trip with your favorite people in the world. My husband and I wanted to thank Stevie Kumia for her wonderful assistance. She was wonderful and made all arrangements for "a dream come true." In a million years, I would never have suspected that we would be able to actually have the ceremony in the chapel itself. It made the event extra special. They were wondering how to get through the event in such warm conditions dressed in formal wear. Imagine our delight to find it was cool and comfortable.

Kapiolani and Best Bridal Hawaii were a dream to work with! Kapiolani was always prompt with replying to the several emails I would send, and eased a lot of the stresses of planning a wedding from overseas. She gave excellent customer service, helping us have the most perfect wedding ceremony and making sure every detail was sorted out.

I would definitely recommend Best Bridal Hawaii to anyone thinking of having their wedding in Waikiki. The venue was beautiful, their provided photographers gave us amazing photos and our celebrant was so professional and made our ceremony memorable.

We were appointed a wedding coordinator for our ceremony at the Ocean Crystal Chapel in the Hilton Hawaiian Village waikiki.
Organising our wedding from Australia was no challenge as the girls made sure everything we wanted was achieved and more.
We were offered choices for vendors and suggestions and advice when we asked.
Everything we needed to organise was done with complete ease.
Once we arrived in Hawaii we met with our coordinator and organised a weddin rehearsal. All our questions were answered and we were made to feel relaxed by the professionalism and knowledge they had.
I woukd highky recommend this venue and Best Bridal Hawaii to organise your wedding!!!

Best Bridal was absolutely the best choice we could have made for our wedding and our coordinator, Kapiolani Masusako, was a godsend. She took care of everything! She was extremely professional, always answered all of my questions, replied to every single email within the same day, usually within only a few hours and went out of her way to make certain every detail was taken care of so our special day was completely unforgettable. And it was! I did not have the stress I hear so many brides talk about and I feel I owe that to Best Bridal and Kapiolani. The day would not have been the same without her. She was there for us from start to finish and has even followed up since we have returned home. We had our wedding at the beautiful Ocean Crystal Chapel operated by Best Bridal Hawaii. Everything was done through our wedding coordinator Kapiolani Masusako. We actually requested Kapiolani based on online reviews and were very fortunate to get her available for our wedding date. Every arrangement Kapiolani made for us proved to be above and beyond our best expectations - flowers, music, photographer, officiant. Although we didn't have a wedding party (just the two of us), Kapiolani and everyone on her team made our wedding a very special and unique experience. Our big day was on May 9th at the Ocean Crystal Chapel. We planned our destination wedding from Canada. Kapiolani was amazing in corresponding with us by email. Her responses were always prompt friendly and personal. This made our planning so much easier.

We got to meet Kapiolani the day before our wedding. She was so friendly and helpful guiding us through things to expect for our big day. She gave us the much needed reassurance that she’d be there to make sure our big day would go as planned.

Both my husband and I were so nervous on our wedding day. Kapiolani was there every step of the way. She made sure every detail was looked after. She was so caring and thoughtful that it felt like she was part of our family celebrating and enjoying the special moment with us.

The ceremony would not have been perfect without the beautiful and amazing Kapiolani. Thank you Kapiolani for being a part of our special day. Any couple would be fortunate to have you as their wedding planner for their big day!

Everything was just as we expected on the wedding day, if not better.

I can't begin to describe how impressed I was with Kristy Watanabe and the Best Bridal Hawaii team. Kristy made my wedding day perfect, and I would never have changed a thing. We had our ceremony at Angel Garden, which is at a private residence about 30 minutes from Waikiki, and I am so happy we chose that site. To say the location is AMAZING is an understatement. My guests and even the officiate commented to me on how relaxed and stress free I was on the wedding day, and I truly credit Kristy for that for making everything run so smoothly. Kristy went way out of her way for our rehearsal as I asked her if we could follow her to the site because we weren't sure how to get there and didn't want to get lost. She met us right at our hotel and allowed us to follow her. Our officiate, James Kimo Taylor and the ukulele player were outstanding. I know (from experience) it can be stressful and overwhelming to pick a bridal company for a destination wedding not being able to meet the people and ensure your money will be well spent, but rest assured if you chose Best Bridal Hawaii you will not be disappointed!!!! Having a destination wedding can initially be a very scary thing. Being unsure of venues and not being able to see every detail of such a special day were my biggest concerns. I was referred to Best Bridal Hawaii by Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort & Spa and I couldn't have been luckier to have worked with Best Bridal. My wedding planner, Kapiolani was AMAZING! She was always very patient with our request, questions and concerns. I was so afraid that I was becoming a nuisance with the amount of phone calls and e-mails I would send concerning all of my "bridezilla" concerns but Kapiolani was the SWEETEST and most helpful person I could have possibly been paired with. Best Bridal Hawaii offers breath taking venues and delivers simplistic elegance with the opportunity to add anything specific to your liking. I would strongly recommend using Best Bridal (especially for out-of-town guests). I would specifically recommend Kapiolani. I became so attached and trusting of her and she certainly delivered above and beyond any of my expectations! Best Bridal should be proud to have her apart of their team! :)

First of all we would like to express our extreme thanks to Kapiolani she was just fabulous nothing was too much trouble. We had booked the Gazebo when we arrived we absolutely hated it, within an hour Kapiolani had changed our ceremony to the Ocean Crystal Chapel and wow that chapel is magnificent.

But the service we received from Kapiolani and Best Bridal was second to none she is organized everything including our wedding night dinner and always had a smile on her face.

The grounds and chapel itself were very well maintained highlighting the natural light and beauty of the surrounding resort which make for great pictures. Best Bridal was very up front about their charges so it was nice to know there weren't going to be any hidden fees or charges.

I'm sure all the wedding planners that work at Best Bridal are just as good as Kapiolani but from our experience we would and have recommended her to anyone looking to have their wedding in Hawaii.

Do not go anywhere else for your destination wedding in Hawaii all your dreams for a stunning wedding will come true with Best Bridal Hawaii!

We recently had our Wedding in the gazebo at Hilton Hawaiian Village and it was fabulous! I cannot say enough good things about Best Bridal Hawaii. Kalei was incredible and soooo helpful. Everything was coordinated perfectly thanks to Kalei and our ceremony was perfect. The venue is beautiful and we have awesome pictures to prove it! The guitar player was great - it added a nice touch to the ceremony. The photographer took wonderful pictures and was incredibly sweet and professional. The officiant did an awesome job too. I highly recommend BBH!

Kristy Watanabe I have to say that you have truly made my wedding day ceremony very special and memorable for me and my WHOLE family. I cannot thank you enough for everything you've done for us. We aren't the most coordinated of families, but Your expertise in handling such a huge Samoan and Filipino family with such grace and patience is absolutely amazing. My brother who usually handles large events (he is a Captain in the military) thinks you did an exceptional job as well. Even when it came to paperwork, you really made it easier for me to cope with everything because you were very calm and cheerful about things that I needed to do or turn in- not to mentioned you allowed me to do majority Of it online.

The Venue you helped us with , the ocean crystal chapel, is as beautiful as the pictures and reviews say. Best bridals I thank you!!! It has such an ambience of tranquil innocence that compliments the bride and the process of giving her away to her new husband. Although I wanted my wedding to be happy and full of laughter, all I heard before walking the aisle were sniffles?! Hahaha. I am the only daughter and the youngest in my family... Not to mention my father (miltary retiree and chief title holder of various places in samoa) has always been very protective of me and sheltered me. In the audience, but not present, was my eldest brother who is currently deployed in afghan who couldnt make it to the wedding but found a way to see it via skype. I guess you can say the chapel magnified a lot of our little stories in this one precious moment. But it wasn't until the moment before me and my father walked the aisle that people told me their heart just skipped a couple of beats. After the procession of bridesmaids and groomsmen, Kristy and another associate closed the doors and waited till our music played on the inside. When it did, they opened the door slowly revealing me and my dad at the doorway ready to walk in. There was a gust of wind that picked at my dress ruffles and veil just a bit. Quite a few people reported afterwards that it was like the movies... Hahaha... It was unintentional I promise you, but Kristy just did a great job at creating that moment for me that even my husband (whom I never seen cry EVER) was choking back his tears. What's more amazing is the pictures. The chapel (although it's small in person) looks like a cathedral in my photos!!!! My family abroad love it!!!

So maybe I rambled a bit on my review and wrote a book instead of a commentary. I'm surprised at anyone who could even sum up their experiences here in just three or four sentences. I truly hope my experience helps you find what you are lookin for because to me, best bridals has the most professional quality of chapels and staff for any experience you are going for. It was a little pricey when we looked at it from the beginning, but my husband and I feel right now that it was worth more than every cent we put into it. The pictures also tell us that constantly!!!

Hi Brides to be out there, planning a wedding is stress all around well i want to let you know if you have a destination wedding in Hawaii please make sure to get Best Bridal. Our wedding coordinator, Kapiolani Masusako, was great she responded to my all my emails with such detail that she never made me second guess myself. Everything from photographer, video, hair & makeup, florist to the wedding cake was suggested by her and they were all the best at what they do. We got married two days before New Years and i'd have to say on how hectic it is around the holidays everything planned out smoothly. I had a traditional church wedding at a different location in Honolulu, but the video and photographer were on time and gave great attention to everything. We even had a civil ceremony outside on the beach and it was perfect, the weather as they say was wonderful even in December and the cake from Cavelava was spectacular we loved it. So look no further I think my wedding was a fairytale i truly felt like a princess and i'm so happy i got married in Hawaii. I hope you all take my suggestion b/c it's an experience you only get once and you need to enjoy it w/ not all the stress involved. Best Bridal Hawaii is truly the best and if the ratings would go all the way to 10 i would give you 10 ACROSS THE BOARD!! You are best and will never forget you! When we go back for our 10th wedding anniversary to renew our vows we will choose you again!! Thank you for wrapping up our year with the best wedding a bride and groom could ever ask for!!

The Ocean Crystal Chapel is breathtaking. But the service from Best Bridal is what makes getting married at the Ocean Crystal Chapel worth it! I cannot say enough about our coordinator Kapiolani. She rocks!!!! She made our wedding rehearsal and wedding day run smooth. She is organized and always had a smile on her face. We had 3 children under the age of 4 in our wedding party and even with the screaming, not paying attention, and running around that typical kids do, she never ever looked frustrated or annoyed. She kept a smile on her face and even complemented on how cute the kiddies looked. That was very important to us because our 20 month old was my husbands best man. Kapiolani is extremely prompt with email responses and really was a key player in keeping our wedding smooth and her positive and calm attitude kept the stress level down. I recommend Best Bridal and the ocean crystal chapel to anyone wanting a magical chapel and exceptional customer service. The cost may seem like a lot at first, but for the service you get it is worth it! I can't wait to see the pictures of us in the gorgeous chapel!

What an amazing day! Kapiolani our wedding planner was awesome. She took care of everything for us, when we had a question she answered quickly for us. Kapiolani made sure that our day was perfect and we are so thankful that we found her! She went above and beyond our expectations even when my mother had a request as a surprise to us on the day of the wedding Kapiolani took care of it which she didn't have to do and that's the type of person she is, making sure our day was perfect. If you are getting married on Oahu I would highly recommend working with Kapiolani.

Ill Say this first.. Kapiolani and the Best Bridal Team are amazing!!!
My husband and I live in London and as soon as we got engaged we decided we wanted a destination wedding! It came down to 2 locations, Thailand or Hawaii. The obvious choice was Hawaii just on reputation alone.
Then the trick of finding a vendor who was knowledgable, helpful, flexible and would still provide you with your dream wedding came, we ultimatley came across Best Bridal Hawaii. Immediately from my first email with Audrey and then Kapiolani I knew we had made the right choice. They cater for parties of any size and provide the advice you need when organising your wedding from abroad. All of the information was given as to what we needed to do.
Kapiolani always answered my emails within 24 hours and was always so personable and professional. I was never in any doubt that our wedding wouldnt be anything short of amazing!
When we got to Hawaii and Ocean Crystal Chapel it was just breathtaking to see it for the first time, Kapiolani kindly walked us through the big day and what would happen so we were totally comfortable. The chapel and venue is elegant, beautiful and a stunning backdrop for wedding photos!
On the big day, Kapiolani was awesome at settling my husbands nerves, and then when the music started and I walked through the chapel doors with my dad, it was just the most perfect moment of our lives. Yes cheesy, but it really was! The minister, Kimo was awesome, he did a christian Hawaiian ceremony for us, which we loved. The photographers, Joe and Sam made taking the photos so much fun that nobody got camera bored nor were they standing around just waiting.
I cannot recommend the Best Bridal Team enough if looking for a destination wedding, we had absolutely nothing go wrong for our big day, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and we will treasure our memories forever, we have all already made plans to meet back in Hawaii in 5 years for a vow renewal to do it all again!

I'm not a total perfectionist, but definitely is a person that likes to be prepared and have a plan. Kapiolani and her team from Best Bridal are awesome! Always available by email with quick response times which is important in planning a destination wedding. Their ceremony venues are all so gorgeous. You literally just pick and choose what you want after they give you all the information whether its the type of ceremony, music, officiant, and flowers! It was great to work with someone where I knew I could trust to gather all the details and pull it all together.

A beach wedding was my #1 choice and after having won our trip to Hawaii my Fiance and I began looking into options. We discovered Karissma by Best Bridal Hawaii through the Hilton's website where were staying. Upon inquiring on what the package included I was assigned an awesome, very responsive and helpful wedding coordinator by the name of Kalei.

Kalei was very helpful and explained everything to me amongst inquiring and never made me feel as if I was bugging her with my "millions" of emails. She was detailed, helpful and patient. She also inquired with vendors right away and provided information as soon as she obtained it so I was always in the "know". I felt as if I made a new friend and it was simply through email! After meeting her in person it made it an even better experience because she's just as she was through her emails! Very polite, professional, helpful and patient. She made me feel extra special and didn't make you feel as if she was just a coordinator. She was sort of like a Jr. Maid of Honor, she helped every step of the way! While walking towards the ceremony site she talked to me in such a calming way it made me so less stressed and anxiety went from 10 to about a 3 hahaha. Our officiant was also extremely nice (John). He made you feel comfortable and explained what we had to do in such an easy manner that it didn't feel as if it was too "much" to soak in. It went well without any problems!

I would definitely recommend Best Bridal and Kalei as well to anyone thinking about getting married in Hawaii. Not only was she helpful but the website was easy to navigate around and provided a lot of the information right at your fingertips. Again, they are highly recommended and if you're looking for a helpful coordinator this is where you need to go!

Tony and I married on March 5th 2014. We are from Australia and Best Bridal Hawaii were recommended to us by the travel agent.

We 100% endorse and reccommend this company.

Kapiolani Masusako was our wedding planner. She was very quick and responsive with any question I had regarding our wedding. She answered all of our questions promptly and professionally. She was a sweet and friendly lady who put everyone at ease regarding our wedding.

We were going to get married in the Gazebo in the Hawaiian Hilton Village but when I saw the chapel Kapiolani quickly changed my venue. No fuss. No problem. I loved the chapel as did all of our guests. It is a serene elegant chapel that is picturesque and perfect for any ceremony.

Kapiolani also organized a ukele player and singer. What a standout performer. His voice was pitch perfect and his playing was excellent. In fact all of our guests shed tears during the ceremony because the music was so moving. Wonderful!

John Fuchigama was our celebrant. Again, a wonderful, serene, professional, and friendly gentleman. He immediately put us at ease with his confidence and friendly manner. He performed the ceremony with much aplomb and dignity. I would fully recommend John.

Kapiolani organized a hair and make-up artist. Leigh was a magician! She was on time and had a lovely personality. Again, 100% professional. She did my hair and make-up perfectly. Excellent.

If you are thinking of a wedding in Waikiki, think of Best Bridal Hawaii. They are truly the best. All of our guests said it was the most moving and beautiful wedding they had been to, including their own.

We had an amazing beach ceremony in Oahu at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (9/5/13)! Kapiolani was wonderful to work with. She responded to all my questions quickly, was patient with me, and was very professional. She put me at ease many times throughout the process. The vendors that Best Bridal provided were fantastic. The officiant, John, was wonderful. The Ukelele player did a great job and added a special touch to our ceremony. Our photographers, Vince and Kara, were amazing. They were fun and fabulous. We received our photos and they were worth every penny. If I had to do it all over again I would not change a thing.

On February 7, 2014, My wife and I had our 10 year Wedding Vow Renewal ceremony at the Ocean Crystal Chapel, located at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki Beach. Our wedding coordinator was Kapiolani Masusako. She was extremely helpful, responsive, and prompt, via both email and phone calls. She was a true pleasure to work with. We found the venue, hotel, and coordinator all via internet, and once we made contact with her, the whole process was seamless and very professional. Making arrangements from half a world away can be a little nerve-inducing, but Kapiolani always kept us comfortable and confident with all the planning. Our officiant, John F., was very friendly and provided a beautiful, emotional ceremony. The photography team (Grant) was very enthusiastic and we are looking forward to some great pics. They worked great with our large group of guests. We had a big party, 42 total, and the venue seated everyone comfortably . The ceremony and locale were gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. We cannot recommend it enough. Again, high ratings for Kapiolani. She and the Karissma team will take care of you. Our ceremony at the Ocean Crystal Chapel is a beautiful cherished memory.

I got married in June at the Paradise Cove Crystal Chapel and was assigned Christi as my wedding planner. I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. The Chapel was everything I hoped (I had only seen it in pictures). It was an absolutely beautiful setting for a fairy tale wedding. Perfect for brides who want to get married on the ocean but do not want to deal with the wind/sand/water/etc. Everything was in excellent condition - no surprises when we got there. Christi was great throughout the whole six months leading up to the wedding. She was able to coordinate all my flowers, cake, etc. just from pictures I sent her. She took plenty of time to ask clarifying questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I was asking for and always responded to my emails promptly, even months before the date. She made the ceremony flow smoothly by worrying about all the little things that I would have never thought about and it really made the day perfect. I highly recommend her, the company and the facility.

Kapiolani Masusako was our wedding planner and I couldn't be more thankful for her insight and guidance while planning our wedding ceremony. Since the very beginning, Kapiolani was extremely helpful and accommodating. At the time of booking, I lived in the mainland. Kapiolani provided a sufficient means of communication for what needed to be accomplished, despite the distance between us. She is very thorough and organized, and kept my husband and I on top of all the elements that made a successful ceremony. Without a doubt she followed through will all of my requests. On the day of the rehearsal as well as the wedding day itself, Kapiolani kept every detail on point without my husband or myself having to stress about a thing. She was unbelievably patient with us, my large wedding party, and all 150 of our guests. She tackled all of my worries and concerns with positivity and a smile on her face. She truly made sure that my wedding vision became a reality. Because of her I can honestly say that my wedding ceremony had some of the most wonderful and memorable moments I have ever experienced. My wife and I recently renewed our vows at the Hilton Hawaiian Village with Best Bridal Hawaii.

Kapiolani Masusako was our wedding planner and she was friendly and knowledgable and made it a day we'll always remember. Kapiolani even grabbed my I-phone and videotaped the ceremony for us.

The minister and ukulele player were terrific. She provided us two photographers, who despite the fact we have yet to receive our photos, were great to work with. I'm sure they'll be awesome when we get them.

The entire event went off as planned. We loved it.

The ladies at Best Bridal that manage the Ocean Crystal Chapel on the Hilton Hawaiian Village grounds were wonderful to work with. Christine Optiz managed our wedding ceremony and she was very helpful and always was available to answer questions/emails. My wife and I did a destination wedding from Seattle so it was really important that Christine was able to communicate via email. She always responded in a timely manner and went above and beyond in helping us with things other than just chapel/ceremony things like helping us with rehearsal dinner suggestions. We were pretty picky and decided to use an outside florist and went with a harpist. She went out of her way and found us a harpist with an extensive set list for us to choose from. Christine was super easy to work with and even accommodated a meeting 4 months in advance of our wedding when we visited the island to give us a tour and ensure all our needs were being met. She did a great job the day of the wedding making sure the wedding party and most especially bride/groom were taken care of to have the least stress as possible. The grounds and chapel itself are very well maintained highlighting the natural light and beauty of the surrounding elements which make for great pictures. Best Bridal was very up front about their charges/fees so it was nice to know there weren't going to be any hidden fees or backend charges after all was said and done which goes a long way when planning for your wedding. I'm sure all the ladies that work at Best Bridal are just as good as Christine but from experience I would recommend her if you are planning your wedding there.

I moved to Texas from Hawaii, so much of the coordination was done via e-mail. I worked with Stevie who always got back me to right away and was so nice! She helped me get quotes for my bridal party florals and gave me recommendations on other vendors since the quoted prices were steep for me. I went with the Ocean Crystal Chapel, which was beautiful! I was allowed to use the decorations that were already there, so I didn't have to pay for extra flowers. Another plus was that they had their own sound system, so I just had to burn a CD and she would take care of playing the music. The chapel also has an elevator, which was convenient for my wheel chair bound guest and a bride room to get ready at. Initially, I was only to have the chapel from 4:30 to 6, but since no one booked the venue, I was allowed in early at 4 which was a life saver! The pastor she booked for me was great too. I was nervous because I didn't remember everything, but he signaled us when to come forward, step back, etc.

There are only a few downsides. One is the price. For me, it was a little expensive since you also have to pay a damage deposit on top of the venue/coordinator fee, which is refundable, but you dont get it back right away. I didn't mind, but there are guests roaming around since it is in the middle of a hotel campus. Tourists were taking pictures of us from afar and some people were trying to get by when we were getting our photos taken. I also wish I had the property for a little longer, so I could have gotten ready at the chapel, rather than at my hotel room.

While a little expensive, I was happy with how things turned out!

I was married here 2 weeks ago. After visiting several venues in the area last year, I quickly (as many others do) fell in love with the sweet white chapel atop a waterfall in the middle of Hilton Hawaiian Village. Because of its location in the heart of Hawaii, my guests could stay in the Hilton or any Waikiki hotel, thus benefitting from the fun and convenience of Waikiki as well as a short commute to the ceremony. Although the cost of having a ceremony in this location was almost double the other locations offered by Best Bridal and the grounds are only available for 90 minutes, it was worth it to have a beautiful location and the great staff. Initially Kayla W. was my planner, and was welcoming and very professional, however, Kapiolani M. took over for the planning 1.5 months before the wedding and did a fantastic job. She was prompt in answering questions, sweet and gracious with directing us during the rehearsal the night before (which is included in the cost of booking the chapel for your wedding), and arranged everything so well the day of my wedding (setting up a sign at the door of the chapel, coordinating the bridal/groom parties as they arrived, distributing validation stickers for parking for my guests, directing us during the ceremony itself to maintain the flow) that I did not have to worry about a single thing. In fact, things happened so smoothly that I did not have to focus on anything but enjoying the ceremony and the fruits of my planning. Kapiolani and Best Bridal made this day very special for me. As beautiful as the chapel was, it was their service that clinched my decision to recommend this venue to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free wedding ceremony. Thanks!!!

We got married on the 11.11.11 at the Ocean Crystal Chapel. Best Bridal Hawaii were great. They organized our wedding with only a few days warning. Audrey Kambara coordinated everything after phoning her after our arrival to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We were so relieved that our date was still available. The photographers, the musician on the ukulele, and the officiant they provided were all very friendly and professional. I would recommend them if you are planning your wedding there.

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with the Ocean Chrystal Chapel of the Hilton Hawaiian Village and were well taken care of by Kapiolani Masusako.
Kapiolani answered our emails loaded with questions and concerns in a very professional way, was always available to us and really made it easy and smooth.
We got married at sunset time and had amazing pictures with the sun going though the pristine chapel.
The harpist played beautiful songs and we had the most romantic wedding ever.
Our minister was amazing as well.
I felt that Kapiolani was more a friend than a wedding planner and we are so grateful to have had her as such.
Even though she is planning many wedding throughout the year, we could feel that she was genuinely happy to help us prepare and assist us on our special day.

I was married in the Paradise Cove Crystal Chapel and it was everything I had hoped for. The chapel and surrounding area are beautiful and, most importantly, secluded away from the Honolulu crowds. Though I booked all of my own vendors and didn't use any planning services, it was still great having Stevie from Karissma as my coordinator. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond to help me when I was having trouble planning a destination wedding. On the day of the wedding Stevie really brought everything together and anticipated all my needs. Everything went smoothly thanks to Stevie!

We are from Australia and we got married in Oahu in October 2010. Our communications with vendors were through email and it was was therefore important that all our vendors provided prompt responses that were detailed. Best Bridal were fantastic with their communications. Stevie was always helpful and provided lots of advice. During our rehearsal the staff realised that a celebrant was not booked for our wedding (my mistake) but this was rectified in 5 minutes.

The only minor downside was that about 2 months before our wedding, they changed our ceremony rehearsal time slot. This was a little inconvenient as we had scheduled our rehearsal dinner afterwards, so dinner had to be rescheduled.

Best Bridal were PERFECT for our needs. The Ocean Crystal Chapel is stunning - even our guests agreed. I very much recommend Best Bridal.

We had Kapiolani as our wedding co-ordinator and she was superb. When we first booked with Best Bridal, we were a bit frustrated at being shuffled around between coordinators, but once we settled on Kapiolani, everything went very smooth. Kapiolani was always quick to respond to our questions or requests through the whole 6-month planning process, and she was a real pleasure to deal with in person (we actually kind of miss our email relationship with Kapiolani now that the wedding is over; her cheerful positivity always put a smile on our faces). We would highly recommend Best Bridal and specifically Kapiolani as a wedding coordinator for a smooth and painless planning process.

We had a great wedding ceremony at the Ocean Crystal Chapel. Best Bridal Hawaii operates this chapel which is located at the Hilton Hawaiian Village beach resort. When we started planning our wedding in Hawaii, we decided that we really wanted a church/chapel wedding instead of a beach wedding. Best Bridal really met all of our expectations. They have several options to choose from in regards to location either in a chapel or on a beach. Stevie was a great help to us as was another one of their staff members who let us take a peek inside the chapel on the day before our wedding. They had flowers on decorating the chapel which we had not expected so that was a pleasant surprise as opposed to the undecorated chapel we had settled for. We also booked an organist through them and she was great. She even played an extra song during our sand ceremony which was not on our contract. As residents of Chicago who were planning a destination wedding, I would recommend going with Best Bridal Hawaii, Inc. They really made it easy and stress free for us.

Best Bridal Hawaii did a very good job at my wedding. Personally, I was surprised because I had heard bad things about them. But none the less, it turned out to be a great wedding. Thank you Best Bridal Hawaii!

I had such a great experience using karissma by Best bridal Honolulu.
I only have good things to say about Stevie whom was professional and quick to provide me help and assistance on a timely matter via email.
Stevie coordinated and set the dates/time and package options.

Our Re-Newel Vows coordinator Stevie was so helpful with getting quotes for flowers and recommendations for Photos, and coordinating our officiate John Fuchigami.
She was always sweet and accommodating. 
She assisted with my Big surprise Vows Re-Newel for my husband of 15 years. She helped from the get go right up until the end.
Our officiate John had such beautiful words during our ceremony and included a Hawaiian blessing ;-). (He's actually pictured in our wedding announcements! )

I felt assured the day of the “Re-Newel” and with her guide and the officiate John it was a great memorable experience.

Best Bridal was very easy to work with especially since we lived out of state. It was nice to hand over the details of our wedding to them and not have to worry. My wedding turned out exactly how I envisioned.

First off, I want to mention Kelli L. for being such an AWESOME planner at Best Bridal. The moment that I booked her, she gave me ideas and helpful lil' tid bits to help me plan out my ceremony. During the wedding and rehearsal, she really took note of everything I wanted and put my plans into action. The outcome was a beautiful wedding ceremony that was exactly the way I planned it.

My only downfall were the planners that were assigned to me before Kelli. Mind you, I am from California and since I was doing the whole destination wedding thing in Hawaii, I was stressing out a bit because I didn't know what was going on or what to expect...

I booked Best Bridal about 8-9 months in advance and was given a planner who wasn't so responsive to my e-mails and would't return my phone calls. She would even forget things like how many bridesmaids/groomsmen I have (it's in wrting/contracts, is it that hard to refer back to it when responding to me?) Then, I was given another planner who was somewhat responsive, but not quite up to par for me. (FYI, I was not being a bridezilla and did not request another planner to help me at all. I simply asked basic questions via e-mail and phone, but wouldn't get responses that answered my questions in a timely manner) Eventually, Kelli stepped in and made my pre-wedding stresors vanish. All my questions via phone/e-mail were answered in a timely manner and when it came down to the Big Day, it all fell through perfectly.

First of all, don't get sucked into thinking $2000 is the 50% deal they make it look like... I'm pretty sure that promotion is eternal. That being said, this chapel is beautiful and I do not regret our choice to be married there!! Our coordinator, Stevie, was so great and always super fast to respond to e-mails. There were a few mix-ups at the rehearsal and ceremony, but what can you expect at a place that is pretty much a wedding factory. You just have to know what you're getting yourself into - you will not feel like the only bride in the world at Ocean Crystal Chapel - you will likely bump into several before and after your ceremony! But, it was worth it, such a pretty chapel! We used our own music on a CD - the sound system was great. No need to hire a musician unless you really want to. Also, they have silk flowers all over the place, so you can save tons on florals.

WARNING: In case hurricane season comes your way, please be informed already from me based from experience, that this company will cancel on you and will not return your money back.

Karissma also have a lot of cons after comparing to other bridal companies. They are very expensive; no free parking provided; Clean up fee $150 required using real flower petals; $40 for a bag of silk flower petals for flower shower (they won't accept it if you bring your own for flower shower); they have a contract that pretty much states that they can cancel and won't return your money back and only $500 deposit will be returned which is ridiculous!

Just our luck, Kapiolani helped us get our money back the next day (our wedding day). I will forever thank her for that! I would definitely hire Kapiolani and Rev Kimo again but NOT the company because of their poor morals and unethical business practices.

I am from Ohio and paid $1,500.00 for a beach wedding through this company. I could have gone to Lake Erie and had a better beach. The beach was five feet off a parking lot. It was covered with rocks and bird feces. There was a rainwater runoff trench from the parking lot to the ocean. There were beached canoes right next to our ceremony, and old tires just lying around. There was a food truck 20 feet from my wedding! The wedding planner could tell we were upset, but she abruptly left at the first available opportunity. I would highly recommend you not use this company, but at the very least do not get the beach wedding! They are giving us a 50% refund, so they are admitting they were wrong. It still doesn't make up for ruining my wedding. Seeing all the great reviews about them on this website just disappoints me even more. Why did they ruin my wedding and give everyone else a fantastic one?

My husband and I had a destination wedding at Ocean Crystal Gazebo in July 2015. When we first started planning our wedding 6 months prior, it took Karissma a MONTH to even get back to me via email. Then, when I was finally given Jaime as a wedding coordinator, I was VERY disappointed! Her overall attitude, involvement, and interaction was horrible. I really wish I was given a different coordinator. Although she did book my musician and officiant, everything was poorly communicated and very last-minute. Also, our venue was originally described to us as a "private venue". It definitely wasn't! Literally, 3 feet outside the gazebo is a public (and VERY busy) walk-way. We had a huge group of passerby's standing right outside our gazebo taking pictures and videotaping our entire ceremony. I'm just thankful I had tunnel-vision and only noticed my groom. That definitely made everything worth it. Unfortunately, for future brides, I would not recommend Jaime.
