Beautiful photos and great photographer!
Kari did an amazing job shooting our wedding! She was thoughtful and kind and did her best to make me feel at ease and taken care of beyond just photos. Kari was able to make us feel so comfortable and capture us as a couple perfectly! I would definitely recommend her to other couples! -

Absolutely Fantastic

Kari was our photographer for our engagement photos and beach wedding and she did such an amazing job! She was incredibly kind and patient with us when we had to reschedule once or twice, and she made us both feel super comfortable in front of the camera. She guided us with posing and produced photos that perfectly reflected us as a couple. I am so grateful to have met her as she is such a wonderful photographer and person. I can't wait to hire her again! Highly recommend!! Thank you Kari! -

Kari has made my wedding dream come true with such amazing and stunning photos! I searched and searched over a dozen websites to find the perfect photographer for us, and she by far exceeded my expectations. She came alone, but you would think she had a second shooter by all the amazing photos she was able to capture. I would one million percent recommend her to any bride looking for an amazing, professional wedding photographer. Kari is not only accommodating to my needs and wants, but she is super flexible and willing to go the extra mile to get the photos I wanted to treasure for ever! -

she is the best
Hiring Kari and her brother Chris for our second shooter was the best move we could have made for our wedding. She captured every detail that I would have missed if not for her photographs. We couldn't believe that she even got sneak peaks back to us the next day. She made the day run so smooth and we felt so comfortable around her. Thank you Kari for the beautiful memories. -

Kari took amazing engagement photos, and the sneak peak of our wedding photos have been amazing as well!
I spaced and accidentally asked her to start photographs earlier in our wedding day then needed, ended up frantically texting her that morning, and she moved around her schedule in order to accommodate coming to our wedding a few hours later. She was so kind, gave great directions for posing for all our photos, and just all around a joy to work with. She also gets photos back super quickly which I absolutely love! -

Hiring Kari was the best decision I made throughout the wedding planning process! She was responsive and professional and made the day of my wedding so easy! Even with all of the other things I stressed about from the way my dress fit to forgetting my sash and missing a groomsman, Kari maintained her calm professionalism and made me feel so at-ease that everything would work out! The pictures turned out beautiful and we got them so much faster than I anticipated. I could not recommend Kari enough! -

I haven't seen my photos yet, but, I have seen some of the sneak peaks from FB. I love her style of all the weddings I've seen her do and I knew she would be good for my rustic farm wedding. Kari is so sweet and professional. I didn't get to meet with Kari before our wedding or go over a shot list. But, I heard from everyone that she was snapping all over the place! So I know they should come out just fine! :-)
Ladies...she is someone you can trust your investment with! How often can you say that in this day and age?! -

I feel like my husband & I got a steal of a deal for her qualtiy of photos, I couldnt be any happier with them! I still look at them in awe that those are my photos!! She was quick to respond to my emails, answer my millions of questions! She was also was so patient with my having forgot to mail out her check a few days past its due date! She drove all the way to Washington from Oregon in the middle of a January snow storm! where most places the power was out, roads closed! She was down in the snow to catch our photos (: I would HIGHLY recommend Kari as your wedding photographer! or for any photo's you may need! I know my friends & I will be contacting her for furture shoots! She's awesome! Professional, Reliable & quick to get us a sneak peak viewing of our pictures! -

She went above and beyond what I expected of a photographer and I love my photos so much. I'm VERY picky when it comes to photos and that was all I wanted to turn out perfect in my wedding, and it was. The value was AWESOME too. I shopped for photographers for 2 years (long engagement) and Kari Renee was by the best price for the product. -

Kari was professional, patient, and fun to work with. I was amazed at how quickly we received our photos. We even got to preview some while we were still on our honeymoon! My whole experience working with her from the cost to the finshed product was absolutly wonderful, and I can't thank her enough for the great experince! I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs photos taken! -

In a word, unreliable.
My fiance and I booked Kari last winter for our wedding. We were supposed to have our engagement photos done in January, two months later and they still were not done. On multiple occasions, she canceled the day of because of sudden bouts of illness. She never had a backup plan. I tried to call her to express my concerns but she refused to speak with me over the phone.
Finally, we told her that we had to get the photos done or we would take our business elsewhere. Still, she tried to reschedule. We were able to get her to find a replacement. The guy we found did a pretty good job, but he knew nothing about Kari.
As soon as we got our engagement photos back I sent the letter of termination of our contract. She then tried to emotionally manipulate my fiance into hiring her again.
I don't know what issues she has but I say avoid at all cost. -

So we book kari for our 2021 wedding in oregon and while we thought we were getting a deal with her its a absolute nightmare! I thought by the good reviews she was good but I soon realize after I tried to do an engagement session with her that her communication skills are poor; I always had to reach out to her first scheduling our engagement session or checking on our pictures because she said we would have them in a few days and her lack of professionalism is not great either. I dug deeper and found reviews that pretty much describe what I am now currently experiencing with her. We were not happy with the engagement pictures, not happy that she almost lost our engagement pictures now she won't give us even half of the money back because we signed a contract with her. I didn't get the pictures that I wanted which was a fall background which she knew we wanted because we talked about about while trying to schedule the session early but she wanted to wait til we got closer to October.
She said she'll keep our deposit on file for future sessions or gift to family/ friends but if we won't use you for our wedding what makes you think we would refer you to anyone. So instead of just giving us back half, she will keep it on file this makes us think she spent the deposit already.
Not only did she try to blame me for trying to ruin her business by giving this honest review but she also called me mean for being honest. If I could go back I would never have gave her the full deposit and I would have researched a little more, it would have said me from losing 1000.
All in all if I could save someone from losing their money and going through stress with her I hope you read and think twice. At least if you want to give her a chance don't pay in full, just do the deposit so you're not out of 1000 like we are now.
Kari: I have the messages where you did in fact call me mean so I'm not going to go back and forth but I will tell the truth of my experience with you. I hope you learn from this and wish you nothing but the best
